Chapter 911 - Sudden Change
On December 19, America’s National Election voted to formally confirm the winner of the country’s president.
In the second year, on January 20, Draenor, who was 70 years old with golden hair, took office in America and officially became the 45th president of the country.
Everyone was taken aback by this person’s appointment. According to all the predictions and public opinion prior to the election, Draenor would not be elected as the president of the country. According to public opinion, Draenor’s speech was not only contrary to the interests of America, but also to mainstream political correctness.
However, just like that, he miraculously defeated his opponent.
Other than the bosses of some small production factories in Yiwu, Su Yang was probably the only one who had expected this outcome.
Su Yang already had a rough understanding of this man’s influence through Little Hus’s nose. After obtaining the [Hands Of Destiny] ability, Su Yang flew to America to take a look at America’s “destiny line”. After that, he even sped up his plans against Samsung.
And his preparation had indeed helped a lot.
After becoming the president of the state, the first topic Draenor talked about at the press conference were Samsung and Jiadian Group.
On this topic, Draenor mentions that China, led by Jiadian Group, was moving towards the world and beginning to take over their own nation’s businesses.
Hence, this was not a good thing for everyone.
If a large national corporation like Samsung could be taken over, would America’s banks, technology companies, and film companies be taken over one day?
In particular, some of the methods used by Jiadian Group when acquiring Samsung seemed to be against the rules. For example, whether Jiadian Group was suspected of using multiple accounts to build a warehouse and buy shares before merging. Apart from that, there was a case of whether Jiadian Group used any business resources when acquiring Samsung.
During the press conference, Draenor also said that he was targeting this matter because some of the stock transactions were held in America, so Su Yang might have used America during his ventures, and that Draenor was investigating into the matter.
He also said that the China company led by Jiadian Group was robbing the nation’s wealth from the people of America, while the Chinese were fighting for jobs. So he was considering whether to restrict the expansion of some Chinese companies in the country.
After all, China will be the most dangerous country to America.
These comments immediately caused a huge uproar.
There had never been a president of a country who dared to speak so carelessly. Furthermore, without any investigation or preparation, he had already started a war with a large country.
However, it had to be said that the American citizens were very fond of this kind of realism. After all, such conservative nationalism was always the most popular.
On the other hand, the public opinion and international opinion on this matter were completely different. Many people criticized Draenor for making a decision to talk about this matter in public without any investigation. It was very immature and would have a negative impact on international relations.
China’s foreign spokesman has also raised serious protests.
But did Draenor care?
No, he did not.
He knew where his base was, so he continued to brag as he continued to takeover his role as the president.
Seeing that the current president of America was so unreliable, everyone was worried for Jiadian Group, China, and even the world. Those who had been paying attention to the merger of Jiadian Group and Samsung were also worried that the situation between Jiadian Group and Samsung would change again.
After all, this was a statement declared by the president of America himself. If they were to really compete with each other, this transaction that was close to being completed might really be investigated.
At that time, even if Jiadian Group did not need to push out the benefits, it was still possible that they would be punished and restricted. If things got out of hand, Su Yang might even have to go to jail.
Therefore, once this matter was out, some of Su Yang’s friends started to call and ask about his situation.
Jiang Yan was one of them who called Su Yang.
However, Young Master Jiang was as cold and domineering as ever. She only said two sentences. “My grandfather said that you did well. The country will support you if anything happens.”
However, these two simple sentences carried a lot of weight.
Hence, Su Yang was touched.
After all, although he had special abilities and a system, he could develop so quickly because of Jiang Yan, the Jiangs, and Old Master Jiang’s support.
Thus, Su Yang was touched by her unconditional trust and full support.
However, Su Yang did not want to use his connections in this matter.
After all, he had already expected this, so he had already made all the necessary preparations.
Therefore, in February of 17, on the first day of the Chinese New Year, a piece of breaking news came out: Jiadian Group had established a law firm in America. They spent a lot of money to hire more than 10 well-renowned lawyers in America, and recruited dozens more lawyers to form an outstanding legal group.
And then...
The court formally charged Draenor with defamation of the company in several public statements, a move that has had a major impact on its global reputation.
So, Jiadian Group had demanded that Draenor publicly apologize to the company and compensate for the economic loss of 5.161 billion USD.
This huge amount of money involved the lawsuit of the new Internet celebrity and newly appointed president of America, Draenor. It instantly attracted a lot of attention.
Due to the different national routes, the president of America did not have supreme power. There were many cases in history where they would be sued as well. However, this was the first time that such a huge amount of money was involved in a lawsuit right after the newly appointed president took office.
Therefore, media outlets from all over the world followed up with reports. Even within America, they treated this as a hot topic of discussion.
At that moment, Draenor was also a little anxious. It was a miracle that he could get this position in the first place. He had not even sorted out the large capital in the country, and now that he had been declared war on by such a large corporation, causing him to be a little flustered.
Thankfully, he was a born actor. Even though he did not expect to be rebutted by a group of lawyers after just making a few statements, he was still very conscious and happy when he attended some of the conferences.
He even took the initiative to bring up the lawsuit, saying that he was not worried about the outcome. After all, he believed that there was a huge problem with Jiadian Group’s recent acquisition, and as the president of the country, he had the right to question it.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Draenor also posted a few stuff, most of the content were still directed at Jiadian.
Thus, the relationship between the two parties became extremely tense.
Everyone in the country was worried for Su Yang, thinking that he was too careless.
However, they did not know that on the day Su Yang sued Draenor, several banks and investment bank executives called Su Yang, hinting that they could help him.
Obviously, the representative of the old money’s interests did not succeed in climbing up the ladder that time. Therefore, they wanted to add insult to injury in the fight between Su Yang and Draenor.
However, Su Yang rejected their help and continued to push forward..
After all, there were two purposes to Su Yang’s strategy. The first was to let Draenor know that he was not the traditional Asian who did not like to cause trouble. Instead, he was not someone to be trifled with. If anyone dared to bare their fangs at him, he would cut off their claws in return.
Secondly, he was trying to stall for time and cause a diversion. Based on the destiny line, Su Yang knew that he and his country would have to fight with Draenor sooner or later. Since they were rivals, he was not afraid of offending him. Hence, he decided to go to court and stall for time.
After all, even though Draenor was a tycoon as well, Su Yang was a far cry from a tycoon like him. Su Yang had plenty of money to drag him down and use money to exchange for time. It was all a worthy exchange to complete his plans.
Therefore, while the lawyers from Jiadian Group were fighting against Draenor, Su Yang arrived in Central Asia through the virtual space.
After controlling Korea, the most important thorn in his hide near his country was removed. However, this was just a defensive tactic.
Only by controlling Central Asia would Su Yang have the ability to control the entire world.
Therefore, after he left Zhao Licheng in Korea to handle the merger of the two groups, he brought the Clown Sea Serpent to deal with Central Asia.
After arriving in Central Asia, Su Yang secretly moved into one of Jiadian Group’s bases in Central Asia. That night, Yemen’s national management met Su Yang under the recommendation of the Clown Sea Serpent.
In Central Asia, Su Yang did not intend to do things openly like he did in Korea.
After all, Korea was one of the developed countries. Furthermore, the whole country was open to the public, and every move would be watched by the world.
But Central Asia was different. Central Asia was synonymous with blood, chaos, and feudalism.
Furthermore, there was a unique religious system in this region. Hence, if Su Yang wanted to interfere in this region, the best way was to use mysterious powers.
Therefore, when they met with the national management of Yemen, Su Yang brought them to the virtual space. He told them that this was the space where God resided, which was also known as heaven, or paradise.
As long as they believed in Su Yang, the emissary of the Lord, they would be able to end up in heaven after their deaths and be with God forever. They would be able to enjoy a blissful life.
During this period of time, Su Yang even inadvertently displayed all sorts of special abilities.
Coupled with the Clown Sea Serpent’s brainwashing earlier on, the management of these countries immediately bowed down to Su Yang.
After sending off this group of people, the Clown Sea Serpent summoned all the important chess pieces that had infiltrated various areas of Yemen for Su Yang to continue his deception.
After brainwashing Yemen, Su Yang started to make his move against Salabar, who had been attacked by the Clown Sea Serpent some time ago.
Salabar was one of the most important and wealthy countries in Central Asia.
For example, when the king of Salabar went out, he would make a gold-plated four-person seat. The furniture on the table was all gold-plated, and he brought a few hundred kilograms of luggage, more than a hundred bodyguards, and dozens of chefs.
When they went on vacation, they booked the entire hotel and island.
For example, they had once booked the Maldives for their own vacation...
However, compared to their wealth, their traditions were very strange. For example, they had more than 5,000 princes.
This was because one could marry four wives at the same time in Salabar. In fact, if they were to marry and divorce on a loop, they would be able to marry dozens of wives.
For example, the founding king of Salabar married 38 wives and had dozens of children.
In order to prevent his children from vying for power, he decided that the king’s seat would be between his brothers, and his children would take turns to sit in the king’s seat.
In the end, things changed when the seventh king, who was also the current king, became the new king. The current king was very wise and knew how to promote public opinion, so after a series of maneuvers, he abolished this tradition and made his youngest son, Salaman, the crown prince.
Salaman was a violent man. He was ruthless and cruel, just like the Clown Sea Serpent. Therefore, the Clown Sea Serpent gradually gained the ability to influence Salabar through him.
However, Salabar was not a country bumpkin like Yemen, and Salaman was not the useless management chosen by Yemen, but a ruthless royal family. Therefore, the Clown Sea Serpent did not control him, but only influence him.
This time, Su Yang wanted to consolidate their relationship. He wanted to influence Salabar through Salaman and then infiltrate Central Asia.
Therefore, after sorting out the matters on Yemen’s side, Su Yang asked the Clown Sea Serpent to meet Salaman.
The Clown Sea Serpent and Salaman were obviously on very good terms. After the Clown Sea Serpent invited them, Salaman gladly agreed.
That night, the Clown Sea Serpent came to Salabar and sent Salaman straight to virtual space...
