Mr. Shen glanced at the male subordinate and said calmly, “How could it be so simple? Agreeing to do it is 1 thing, but... we can delay its completion.”
The male subordinate looked at Mr. Shen with admiration and left. However, he did not notice Mr. Shen’s strange expression after he left.
When Su Yang reached home and entered the house, he heard Little Deeny whispering into his ear, “Master, Li Zijun is calling you.”
As Su Yang entered the virtual space, he said, “Put me through.”
Su Yang took off his clothes and asked, “What’s wrong, Zijun? Is something the matter?”
Li Zijun said, “Mr. Su, I have two things to report to you.”
Su Yang threw his clothes aside. “Go on.”
Li Zijun said, “The first thing is that a B-rank movie actor is intending to shoot a movie himself. He’s asking if we’re interested to collaborate in the production of their special effects for the movie.”
Su Yang nodded. “Understood. What’s the actor’s name? What’s the movie’s name?”
Li Zijun said, “The actor’s name is Wu Feng and he’s a martial arts actor. In the past, he acted in “New Shaolin Temple” and “Kill Zone”. Two years ago, he directed and acted in an action film called “Legendary Assassin”. As for the new movie, he did not say anything about it except that he was still preparing for it.”
“I see.” replied Su Yang. After some thought, he said,” Why don’t we ask him to send over the requirements for the production and the special effects?”
Li Zijun said, “Okay, Mr. Su. However, they did mention that they don’t have a lot of budget for the production of the movie, hence they’re asking if they can convert the charges for the special effects into the movie’s investments...”
Su Yang was speechless
‘Convert the charges for the special effects into the movie’s investments?
‘Isn’t this... production crew too poor already...
‘Furthermore, he seems to be treating me as a fool, planning to gain something without risking anything.
‘He seems like a scammer...
‘I’ll have to proceed with caution.’
Therefore, he said, “In that case, get the actor to send me his overall plan including the script.”
Li Zijun said, “Alright... However, the other party might not be willing to divulge so much information though...”
Su Yang said nonchalantly, “They’re the ones who are short of money. It’s fine if we raise our conditions for the collaboration, let’s take it slow with him. If they can’t reveal everything to us, then we should at least ask him to give us most of the plans. Furthermore, we could sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to express our sincerity. Plus... we won’t be copying his ideas anyway.”
Li Zijun quickly replied, “Yes, Mr. Su.”
She paused and said, “Apart from that, Mr. Jia’s lawsuit against the [In] company has ended. The court has sentenced the [In] company for spreading false info and the company has been asked to publicly apologize to the public. The company will also compensate users for the corresponding psychological damage.”
“In addition, under Mr. Jia’s control, the supervisory department has also issued a heavy penalty of 2 million yuan on the grounds that the [In] company was spreading false info which was serious.
Su Yang was shocked. “That much?”
Li Zijun nodded. “It’s all thanks to Mr. Jia. I heard that Mr. Jia used a lot of connections for this matter. Plus, he even led the public to create pressure on the matter via discussions in order to achieve this result.”
Li Zijun smiled and said, “There’s another piece of good news. The [In] company has admitted defeat and compensated us, apologized, paid their fine and stopped suing us.”
“Oh?” Su Yang was surprised. “Why is that?”
Li Zijun said, “Their company is in a mess. I think Vice President Wang is collaborating with the funders and a few elders to force Mr. Sun to abdicate his position.”
Su Yang stopped packing for a moment. “That exciting?”
Li Zijun said, “Yes.”
Su Yang pondered for a while. “Do you think we can take advantage because of this?”
Li Zijun said, “I think there is. For example, our technology company’s framework has not been set up properly. Could we take advantage of their internal conflict and poach some of their people over?”
Su Yang felt, ‘That might work.’
He said, “Alright then. I’ll leave it to you to take care of it. Think about what kind of talents our company needs and then poach more of them. Let’s create some trouble for them.”
Li Zijun quickly replied, “Yes, Mr. Su.”
After she was done with her work, Su Yang happily went to the swimming pool for a swim. Little Deeny seemed to have seen Su Yang in the pool, so she asked her doppelganger to return to her room to work while her real body went out to swim with Su Yang.
Actually, Su Yang’s swimming skills were average. After all, he had never learned it through the system before. However, he had grown up by the river in his village as a child. Hence, he knew how to do a few paddles.
As for Little Deeny, her movements were much more elegant. According to her, she had secretly learned many skills while Su Yang was sleeping.
Su Yang felt, ‘If I don’t keep an eye on her more often, she might actually go against me someday!’
Hence, the two of them stayed in the swimming pool for half an hour with Su Yang paddling and Little Deeny using the Butterfly style.
Exhausted, Su Yang walked to the shore. Little Deeny’s clone then passed him a clean towel and draped it over his body.
Su Yang thanked her.
The clone Little Deeny nodded with a smile before giving the real Little Deeny another towel.
The two sat on the shore and chatted.
Little Deeny said, “Master, do you think that Mr. Shen will cause any trouble?”
Su Yang nodded before shaking his head. “I don’t know if he will try anything funny, but I really don’t care.”
Perhaps it was because of his extraordinary power that Su Yang’s confidence came from deep within himself.
‘I have the ability to brainwash people, an hourglass that could read other people’s memories, a lipstick that could control other people’s actions, and a tape that could copy other people’s memories. What’s there to worry about?
’50 million yuan is indeed a huge sum, but even if Mr. Shen doesn’t lend it to me, other banks would still lend it to me. It’s just a matter of how much collateral is put in place.
‘Therefore, I really don’t care about what Mr. Shen does.’
After Su Yang explained his thoughts, Little Deeny nodded thoughtfully.
Now that Su Yang was done with everything he could do and the materials were ready, it all depends on how Mr. Shen proceeded.
‘I doubt it would take him too long. Based on Mr. Shen’s attitude during the afternoon meeting, he seemed to be even more anxious than I am.
‘Through the binding of [Absolute Verbal Contract] and the judgment from [Heaven’s Eyes], I believe that the 50 million yuan will be in my hands very soon.
‘Which means, my Silver mission will be completed very soon!
‘All that’s left is to figure out how to use this Silver point!
To ensure that Mr. Shen would not have any problems in the future, Su Yang summoned the [Absolute Verbal Contract] again. He used Mr. Shen’s latest statement, “I will help you settle the 50 million yuan loan as soon as possible” into the [Absolute Verbal Contract] again and made a double insurance policy.
In any case, Su Yang could remove the two contracts once he got the 50 million yuan. Hence, Su Yang felt that he could add another contract as insurance.
Su Yang dried himself and walked back to the villa with Little Deeny.
Su Yang sat down on the sofa in the living room and asked Little Deeny to call Janet over.
Su Yang had always thought highly of this high-level monster that had transformed from a shark into a human.
However, perhaps because Janet did not talk much and did not have a strong presence, Su Yang realized that he had accidentally forgotten about him when he added +3 to the other monsters...
Also, Janet did not say anything, it was as if he did not know about the +3.
If Su Yang had not seen Pan Zhaodi today and remembered the beast shark that could fight with this female dinosaur, he probably would not have remembered him...
Hence, after swimming, Su Yang felt, ‘There’s no better day to add a point for Janet than today!’
While Su Yang was thinking, Little Deeny brought Janet over.
Su Yang looked at him.
Janet was actually very beautiful from the outside. She had the deep-set eyes unique to Western women, a high nose bridge, green eyes, and angular facial features. Other than the fact that she had no breasts, anyone who saw him would think that he was a Western beauty.
However, Su Yang knew that it was all Janet’s disguise. The guy was actually a real monster, he was one of the most powerful monsters around Su Yang.
Not only did he have terrifying strength, but he also had the ability to kill in the water that surpassed all humans. It could even turn into liquid to become immune to damage and could even control water.
He was practically a war machine.
Su Yang felt, ‘Unless a special weapon is used, the country wouldn’t even be able to deal with him within a short period of time.
‘Therefore, there’s no need to be stingy with him.’
When he was summoned by Little Deeny, Janet already knew that Su Yang wanted to give him more points. He greeted Su Yang and stood there quietly.
Su Yang did not waste any time. He brought Janet out of the villa and went to the pool. Then, he opened the system shop and bought two [Protection Talismans].
After that, he glanced at the fourth panel. The fourth panel did not have any new items.
Of course, it could also have been refreshed secretly in the middle, but he was unaware of it.
‘This is literally like hoping to hit the jackpot.’
Closing the system shop, Su Yang pasted the two [Protection Talisman] on Janet’s forehead.
Janet stood as straight as a statue and gave no reaction.
At some point in time, Little Hus had crept up to Su Yang. It raised its head and looked at Janet with love in its eyes.
Su Yang gave it a light kick so that it would not get in the way. Then, the husky glared at him as though it was about to attack him.
Ever since Little Hus turned from a pillow into a plush toy, the expression on the dog’s face had become much more vivid.
Just as the two were fighting, the [Protection Talisman] slowly disappeared. Janet’s body was first covered in red light which then turned orange before finally returning to his body.
Su Yang turned on the system, and a translucent ‘+’ symbol appeared above Janet’s head.
