Chapter 352 I’m Sorry! You’ve Been Stopped Because You Don’t Listen!
His trump card was that he had received an invitation from one of the hottest variety producers in the country. He was about to become popular! Even though Chu Hong had evaluated him before, it was saying that he had the potential to become a top-tier player!
Potential was still only potential and nobody knew if it could be fulfilled.
However, it was different now. He had reached the point of transformation and was about to become a phoenix. Therefore, he was not afraid of the new boss.
After decades of development in the domestic entertainment industry, the status of an artist had risen to the same level as a management company.
Especially now that the Internet was flourishing, domestic artists had fans and social influence that other industries could not compare to. With the increase in popularity, their relationship with the management company became even more unequal. Of course, those who had the advantage were celebrities who had made a name for themselves.
After all, once a celebrity became famous, it would affect many things in the industry. Normal agencies would not dare to offend them.
This was where his confidence lay.
Su Yang’s nonchalant tone had really angered him.
He picked up a chair and placed it in front of his desk. Then, he sat down and glared at Su Yang. “Who am I? I’m your company’s money tree!”
Su Yang looked at him. Luo Yi was very young. Su Yang remembered that he was only 20 years old.
He became a C-list celebrity at the age of 20 after filming a movie. In the past two years, Chu Hong had arranged for him to film two more movies, and each one had steadily improved. He was already at the peak of the C-list and was about to break into the B-list.
This person’s potential and ability were indeed very powerful. He had the ability to be arrogant.
‘It’s just...
‘What has this got to do with me?’ Su Yang did not intend to rely on his agency for a living
Therefore, he looked at Luo Yi and said calmly, “The company’s money tree? My company seems to be losing money year after year.”
Luo Yi choked. However, he immediately said, “That has nothing to do with me. I earn money every year anyway.” After saying that, he did not intend to let Su Yang mock him anymore. Instead, he said directly, “I won’t hide it anymore. I was indeed prepared to leave with Chu Hong.”
Su Yang was curious. “Actually, I have a question. Why are you willing to follow Chu Hong? Isn’t it good to stay in New Arts Culture?”
Luo Yi laughed. “No! Of course not! This company is supported by Sister Chu Hong. Without her, do you think I would come?”
Su Yang looked at the other trainees. Other than Yang Meiyue, who was in a daze the whole time, the other trainees looked scared but nodded at Su Yang, indicating that Luo Yi was right.
Su Yang looked at Luo Yi as he continued, “Although something happened to Chu Hong, I don’t want to stay in the company that she’s not in. Hence, I plan to terminate my contract with the company.” Su Yang couldn’t help but laugh out loud when he saw him acting as though he was the number one and number two of the company. ‘Are all the celebrities in the entertainment industry stupid? They get praised by their fans every day, so they really think that the world revolves around him?
‘Or was it because they were acting out different personalities that some of their actions became exaggerated?
‘I’ve never met such a weird person in real life.’
Su Yang asked straightforwardly, “Why?”
Luo Yi looked at Su Yang, his nose almost reaching the sky. “If you gain my friendship, New Arts Culture will be well taken care of when I become popular in the future. I can also take care of the artists in your company when I film.”
Su Yang scoffed and shook his head slowly. ‘How can I watch a show that was filmed by those fresh meat? They even brought their own artistes with them... That would be destroying their own artistes futures, right?’
Luo Yi did not notice Su Yang’s disdainful expression. He was still immersed in his own world.
He swept his gaze across the office and looked at the trainees. His gaze stopped on Yang Meiyue for a while before it landed on Lin Jiali. He then turned to Su Yang and said casually, “Jiali is not bad. I’ve always wanted to interact more with her.”
“When I become an A-lister, I can bring her to film. Of course... you have to be sensible.”
Su Yang’s eyes flashed coldly. Although Luo Yi did not say what ‘more interaction’ and ‘sensible’ meant, they were all adults and not elementary school students. They understood what he meant.
Even though Su Yang did not have any feelings for Lin Jiali, he still treated this silly female celebrity as a friend. After all, this silly female celebrity had brought him a lot of joy.
Also, a man’s possessiveness was very strange. Even though she was not his girlfriend, teasing a friend of the opposite sex in front of him still gave him a strange feeling of being cheated on...
So, Su Yang chuckled coldly and said, “Mr. Luo, I think you might be overthinking things. You won’t become popular, and you won’t become a superstar.”
Luo Yi waved his hand. “Impossible.”
Su Yang was really curious about where this person got his confidence from.
Luo Yi smiled mysteriously. “I’ve just finished talking to a producer recently and we’ve already confirmed our collaboration. That’s the most popular variety show in the country. I’ll be a permanent guest. With that show, I’ll definitely become a top celebrity! I’ll definitely become popular!”
Su Yang was speechless.
Even though he treated Luo Yi as a delusional patient, Su Yang still managed to communicate with Little Deeny through a telepathic link. He asked Little Hus to sniff Luo Yi through the phone.
If Luo Yi really had such a big project behind him, it would definitely be very fragrant.
Unexpectedly, Luo Yi actually had a ‘great opportunity’!
According to Little Ha, the fragrance on Luo Yi’s body was so strong that it was about to stink!
Regardless of whether it was Lin Jiali, Yang Meiyue, or the other trainees, they were all overshadowed by him.
“The trainees aside, Lin Jiali was the only other C-list celebrity. How could her fragrance be completely covered by Luo Yi? This was too scary!
‘So... Luo Yi’s intention to become a top celebrity, an A-list celebrity, and a superstar was actually possible?!’
Su Yang looked at Luo Yi and was a little surprised. ‘Is this person that awesome? He’s just a pretty sissy. He’s a little pretentious and arrogant. How would he become the top celebrity?
‘Was the current top tier celebrities so special?’
Seeing the change in Su Yang’s expression, Luo Yi thought that Su Yang had figured it out. He raised his eyebrows. “How is it? Director Su, terminate the contract and gain my friendship. From now on, you’re my younger brother in the entertainment industry. You can do whatever you want.”
Su Yang was speechless.
‘This person really felt good about himself.
‘His friendship? ‘I’m his younger brother?
‘Hehe...
‘Future top celebrity? ....So what?
‘You haven’t become a top celebrity yet!’
Since he would still be in his company for another day and had yet to become a top celebrity while having ulterior motives towards Lin Jiali, he should stay silent forever since he had a terrible attitude.
Su Yang shook his head. “I’m sorry, Mr. Luo. I’m sorry to inform you that due to your health issues, the company has decided to temporarily suspend all your work.”
He paused. “In other words... you’re being shelved.”
Luo Yi’s expression froze. He shouted, “Suspend me?! Are you crazy?!”
Su Yang scratched his ears. “No, Mr. Luo. I’m not crazy. You’re the crazy one. Look at you now. You don’t look like a normal person.”
“Besides,” Su Yang said with a smile, “I might not have made myself clear just now. I did say something, but I won’t admit it once we’re out of here. The only reason you don’t have a job is because... you’re not feeling well.”
Luo Yi slammed his fist on Su Yang’s office table and shouted at him, “Do you know what announcement I’ve received? Speedrunners! I’m going to become a permanent guest for the new season! I’ll be famous!”
When he said that, the trainees beside him widened their mouths in shock. Even Lin Jiali looked at Luo Yi in surprise.
‘Speedrunners! That was the most popular program in the country last year!
The six permanent guests, with the exception of the captain, were originally unknown C-list actors. In the end, they became famous throughout the country in just one season and became B-list and A-list celebrities. Hence, The Speedy Team was also the most popular variety team in the country to date!
However, it was said that when the program was preparing for the second season this year, a permanent guest had a conflict with the producer and was terminated, so they were looking for a replacement. Unexpectedly... it was Luo Yi.
Su Yang looked at him calmly and shook his head. “Firstly, I don’t know about that show. Secondly, you won’t be the guest of that show.”
Luo Yi stared at Su Yang as though he wanted to see if Su Yang was joking.
The room fell silent...
A moment later, Luo Yi forced a bright smile on his face. He smiled sincerely and retracted his hand from the table. He looked at Su Yang with a fawning expression and said, “Brother Su, I think you’re right. I really seem to have a mental problem. I don’t even know what I did just now. Why would I say such nonsense?
“Sister Tan is my sister, and you are my brother. How could I leave our company? I am our company’s most loyal employee. Chu Hong is just a f*cking whore! She still wants to destroy our company! If she is before me, I will definitely smash her face with a beer bottle!
He looked at Su Yang and chuckled. “Brother, look. It’s not easy for me to have this opportunity. I’ve put in a lot of effort as well. That producer is an old pervert and he’s not easy to satisfy. Can you help me and give me this chance?
“I’m not leaving. The contract is signed by our company. When we earn money, the company will get a huge share, right? “Just give me this chance! As he said that, he slapped himself twice. His face instantly turned red, and he begged while crying, “Brother, please. I really need this opportunity.
“I will definitely work hard at the company in the future, and I will never leave again. “You are my brother for life, no, father! You are my father for life! I will do whatever you say!”
The other artistes in the office were dumbfounded. They did not expect Luo Yi to be so flexible. He was asking for forgiveness. Perhaps, Su Yang could really forgive him? Everyone looked at Su Yang, waiting for his decision.
Su Yang looked at Luo Yi coldly without any change in his heart.
[This was because he had always opened his (Heaven’s Eye]. In his eyes, Luo Yi’s every sentence would have the words (Truth) or (Lie] tagged to them.]
Luo Yi had just made a huge reversal and his words were deemed to be truths by (Heaven’s Eye).
Only the last few sentences were tagged as a (Lie)...
