At that thought, Su Yang asked, “What did you find out?”
No. 17 could understand what they were saying, so he looked curiously at Spirit Building.
Spirit Building walked around No. 17 and staggered a few steps. Then, she bent her back and put her fist to her mouth. She coughed and said weakly, “Just now, I’ve been condensing spiritual energy into my eyes to observe No. 17’s changes.
“According to my observation, after he received his first point and came out of the green cocoon, the spiritual energy inside its body was extremely active. Even though it was unstable, there was a huge amount.
“However, when it was enveloped by the colorful light and got promoted into a Platinum Race, the spiritual energy in his body became very stable, and the quantity decreased greatly.”
Su Yang asked, “So its strength has been weakened?”
No. 17 also bent his slender arms curiously, as if he wanted to test the strength of his arms.
Spirit Building first shook her head, then nodded. She said, “I can’t understand it either. Because other than these changes, I discovered that the spiritual energy in his body seemed to have an additional aura of life.
“I don’t know what that is. I can only say that it might be related to the continuation of the Platinum Race.”
‘The continuation of the Platinum Race?’
Su Yang looked at Spirit Building, puzzled. Then, he opened the system and the interface for the Platinum Race.
Then, he opened the system’s help that the system obtained after becoming +3, clicked on the Platinum Race to question it.
A moment later, an explanation popped up before him.
[It is within a living being’s natural instincts to keep on living. Whether it is an individual or a race, they all wish for their genes to live forever. However, the stronger a living being is, the weaker their reproduction ability, and the longer their offspring would require to grow. These two are conflicting factors.]
[Therefore, when you evolve into a Platinum Race, your race might be able to influence the entire race and affect the race’s abilities in certain ways.]
[For example, the weakening of an individual’s strength, or a reduced reproductive ability without affecting an individual’s strength, or the probability of good genes being passed down, etc.]
[Everything is done for the sake of reproduction and survival. Living beings cannot live forever, but races can.]
When he saw the notification, Su Yang understood something.
‘No wonder the Little Monster Bean, oh, they should be called Little Monster Soybeans now... They’ve been optimized in various aspects all so that they could survive.
‘For example, in the past, they would explode if they did not do housework, but now, they would only explode whenever they were unhappy. This means that Little Monster Soybeans are no longer consumable like Little Monster Beans.
‘Plus, Little Monster Soybeans would have to go through a “Monster Bean” form during their “fetal period”, similar to the development of other fetal life forms on Earth in their mother’s womb... This increases their survivability as a race.
‘It’s within living beings’ natural instincts to survive and reproduce, which is why everything’s developing in that direction right now.’
At that thought, Su Yang had a rough guess about the Platinum Race.
‘Platinum Race should be an evolution after adding points to items and living creatures to the maximum.’
Suddenly, Su Yang had an epiphany. He understood why the system kept asking him to add more points.
‘Could the system be trying to have me add hundreds of races?
‘Does it want me to turn this world into a more colorful place?
‘I would add points to each item and living being to increase their intelligence and stamina, allowing them to evolve and give birth to special abilities. Finally, they would become a unique, new species with reproductive abilities.
‘But...
‘What’s the purpose?
‘To destroy humanity?
‘Doesn’t seem like it.
‘I’m the main instigator of all this after all, so even if I’m willing to enlighten so many Platinum Races, I would definitely benefit the most from all this.
‘Plus, humans could also become Platinum Races. However, because humans are not little monsters and do not have special abilities, I need to spend a large amount of coins to evolve.
‘However, this at least proves that humans could become a Platinum Race, and we’re probably the strongest race.
‘Therefore, that goal is basically non-existent.
‘Furthermore, with so many advanced races being born, could Earth actually handle it?
‘Based on the system’s Platinum Mission, it’s obviously protecting Earth, but the goal of evolving the Platinum Races seems to be different.’
Su Yang lowered his head and pondered for a long time. He felt that there were too few clues and he could not make a judgment yet. However, he had a vague guess that he needed to verify.
As long as he confirmed his theory, he felt like he would be able to solve all the mysteries surrounding him.
After he was done with his thoughts, Su Yang raised his head and shared the information that he had obtained with the other monsters. Then, he asked Janet, Little Deeny, and the rest if they had any new discoveries.
Finally, Su Yang brought No. 17 back to the castle.
After No. 17 disappeared, the Little Monster Beans were in chaos.
After all, No. 17 was a celebrity amongst the Little Monster Bean!
It was not only the most eloquent, most unorthodox, but also the oldest.
After all, it came from the first batch of Little Monster Beans. Other than No. 18, everyone from that same batch had already exploded.
Therefore, even though it was unorthodox, he was the one who had witnessed the growth of all the Little Monster Beans, effectively making him the elder of his race.
Now that their elder was captured by the devil, Su Yang, the Little Monster Beans started making a fuss.
They did not dare to betray Su Yang, nor did they have any destructive power. Hence, they could only sit at the entrance of the castle and cry.
From afar, Su Yang could hear the cries. “Doudou Doudou”. ‘Actually... It sounds a little pleasant, like they’re cracking a joke.’
In fact, Su Yang even saw a Little Monster Bean getting tired of crying. It got up and took out a plate from under its butt to wash it before lying down to continue crying. ‘That’s hilarious!’
Because Su Yang saw the system’s “criticism” of himself in Little Monster Soybean’s introduction, he did not blame the Little Monster Beans too much. He walked over and placed No. 17 beside No. 18 before saying, “Alright, alright, stop crying already. I’m returning your brother to you.”
When she heard Su Yang’s words, she raised her head and saw a “huge monster” standing beside her. There was a scarf around his neck that could only be considered a bow tie, and she started crying again!
As it cried, it kept yelling out, “Doudou Dou Dou Dou”, as if it was saying that Su Yang was lying. When her brother left, he was only 10 cm tall. Yet, how could he have grown all the way to a meter in just a few hours?
Su Yang couldn’t be bothered to explain. He pushed No. 17 towards it and let the sibling explain himself.
After that, Su Yang did not watch the siblings reunite. Instead, he returned to the castle with Little Deeny and the rest.
Back at the castle, Su Yang explained his next plan.
He started promoting “Wolf Warriors 2” first, then started planning for Central Asia and Korea while waiting for “Wolf Warriors 2” to be released.
After “Wolf Warriors 2” became popular, his Gold Mission would be completed. After the system got upgraded again, he would officially begin his ultimate mission of beating Central Asia, trampling on Korea, and dominating the world!
After Su Yang finished explaining his plan, Little Deeny glanced at Little Hus and reminded Su Yang, “Master, I have something to say.
“You should still remember why we moved “Wolf Warriors 2′′ to the summer break, right?”
Su Yang nodded.
He remembered asking Little Hus to check out the screening times of “Wolf Warriors 2”. During this summer break and next year’s Spring Festival, its box office earnings would be the highest.
On the other hand, the box office earnings would be lower during this year’s Spring Festival period.
After that, he tried letting Little Hus sniff “Wolf Warriors 2” with different months of screening schedules for a few days to check the box office earnings. In the end, he came to a conclusion: “Wolf Warriors 2” was not only affected by the big schedule, but also affected by a major incident in May or June that year.
However, Su Yang had no idea what was going to happen during that time.
Upon hearing what Little Deeny said, Su Yang replied, “I remember. What’s wrong? Is this related to our plan?”
Little Deeny nodded. “I’ve been gathering global information for a while now, and then I’ve been using Big Data analyses to get a rough idea of what might have to do with international relations. Or even... Possibly with Central Asia.”
Su Yang was surprised. “What is it?”
Little Deeny shook her head and said, “Because there are too few clues, I can’t tell. But it should be related to your country, Master.”
‘The movie has got something to do with my country and Central Asia?’
Su Yang pondered for a long time before a thought flashed across his mind.
‘Sh*t! Could it have something to do with the expulsion of the Chinese?’
After all, Su Yang was clear about the general plot of “Wolf Warriors 2” and knew what the movie was about. The main inspiration came from the expulsion of the Chinese four years ago. The main purpose was to showcase how powerful the country was in the world.
Then, if a similar Chinese expulsion incident were to happen during this period of time, it would be a wonder if “Wolf Warriors 2” did not blow up!
At the thought of this, Su Yang could not help but be wary.
‘Movies are movies, but reality is reality.
‘In movies, no one would die from this kind of movement, but in reality, people only have one life.
‘If Central Asia would really allow the country to withdraw its Chinese expatriates on a large scale again, it would mean that what’s about to happen would be very serious. In fact, it would most likely threaten our countrymen who are overseas.
‘Therefore, it’s best that I make some preparations for my countrymen to prevent their lives from being threatened.’
At the thought of this, Su Yang gave Little Deeny a thumbs up and gave the Clown Sea Serpent a call. He instructed him to take note of the situation and protect his countrymen.
After hanging up the phone, Su Yang was a little emotional as well. He felt that his decision to let the little monsters into the world to train was indeed right. ‘If they haven’t been living in human society, why would they be sympathetic and concerned about the lives of humans?
‘Plus, they wouldn’t have collected data, analyzed the situation, and reported it to me.
‘Without Little Deeny’s report, I might have had to watch as a disaster unfolded...
‘However, now that I’ve gotten the Clown Sea Serpent to prepare in advance, I believe that it won’t be a problem. My next focus should still be on the promotions for “Wolf Warriors 2”.
‘This is related to my Gold Mission and a large amount of coins!’
While Su Yang was thinking about the publicity for “Wolf Warriors 2”, the entertainment industry in the country was not clear skies and blue seas either.
This was because the latest Chinese Bell Awards had announced the nomination list for this year.
Su Yang’s name was on the nomination list.
Furthermore, Su Yang was nominated for Best Actor.
This was like a stone that caused a thousand ripples when being thrown into the sea.
After all, Who was Su Yang at that moment?
He was the world’s most sought-after tycoon.
Furthermore, he was a hero that had just crushed Japan’s economy.
“It’s just that... Artists had “pursuits”. No matter how great a person’s achievements in other fields were, it didn’t mean that they had achievements in the field of “art”.
Therefore, when they found out that Su Yang was nominated for the Chinese Bell Awards, the entertainment industry and the film industry fell silent.
The reason why they were silent was because they felt that even though Su Yang’s acting skills were not bad, he did not seem to have reached the level where he could become the Best Actor. Furthermore, even if Su Yang was very impressive in other fields, it was still his first time acting in a movie and he was considered a newcomer in the film industry. Was it inappropriate for such a newcomer to be nominated for Best Actor?
Actually these people in the entertainment industry were not making a mountain out of a molehill. The Chinese Bell Awards is one of the five biggest awards in the Chinese film industry. Although its value is low among the five awards, it was not something that any random award could be compared to.
Furthermore, the Chinese Bell Awards was for the selection of the reviewers. Most of the time, it represented the approval of the country. Therefore, people in the entertainment industry and the film industry valued this award very much.
After all, there were only that many quotas for the important award, so being nominated was a sign of recognition on its own.
Therefore, in some of the entertainment industry’s internal chat groups, there were also some jealous people who started to be sarcastic about Su Yang’s nomination.
‘To be honest, I admire Mr. Su a lot. But I feel that the reason why he’s being nominated is entirely because of the movie “Wandering Planet”. It has nothing to do with his acting skills. After all, “Wandering Planet” is the best box office movie ever.’
‘Agreed. “Wandering Planet” is ridiculously strong. 5.3 billion yuan at the box office... Not only has it become the best movie ever, it’s even doubled the bar.’
‘So what? Is he the main character of “Wandering Planet”? Just from the title, you can tell that the main character is the “planet”. Whoever acts in this movie will probably become popular anyway.’
Seeing that some people were jealous of Su Yang, some people who supported Su Yang started to retaliate.
‘Are you kidding me? Whoever acts in this movie can become popular? If it were someone else, do you think “Wandering Planet” could be produced? If it wasn’t for Mr. Su’s investment, there wouldn’t be a “Wandering Planet” in the first place!’
The moment he texted that, the people who were jealous of Su Yang were rendered speechless.
Indeed, if it were someone else, they really wouldn’t have a few hundred million yuan to film this movie.
If not for Su Yang’s money, “Wandering Planet” would probably have been in labor for many years.
Hence, not everyone could replace Su Yang’s place as the protagonist.
Even though the person who retorted suppressed all the jealous people, there was no shortage of contrarians in the world. A contrarian actress texted. ‘So what? it’s just a few stinking money. Movies aren’t made with money. He just got lucky this time. If you don’t believe me, let’s just wait and see if he’s able to produce another good movie after this!’
