With that question in mind, Su Yang clicked on the option and a description of the function appeared before him.
[After activating this function, you can project [Burning Reincarnation Circus] into the real world. The [Burning Reincarnation Circus] can have two modes in the real world.]
[Mode 1: Master Mode. Master Mode will allow only the master to enter the circus and control the various functions of the circus.]
[Mode 2: Guest Mode. Guest Mode allows the soul of the dead to enter the circus and become a substitute candidate for the circus. They will be able to resurrect and escape the sufferings of being reborn after they become victorious.]
Su Yang’s eyes lit up as a term popped up in his mind. ‘Soul Summoning Banner?
‘Can I summon someone’s soul who’s within range and make them become my servant?
‘If this is true, it’s literally a divine artifact!
‘Eh... Another divine artifact?
‘I keep getting the feeling that my recent items have all been described as some kind of divine artifact. However... At the end of it, I don’t seem to have changed much.
‘So... Why am I so weak?
‘I have a ton of divine artifacts at my disposal, yet I can’t seem to be able to utilize them. Could I be the legendary useless character?
‘If it were someone else who has a strong will and is cruel, they would probably have conquered the world with these items by now.’
As Su Yang lamented about how weak he was, he activated that function.
Even though the function was activated, Su Yang did not choose the mode immediately.
‘I’ve just entered the circus, so there’s no need for me to rush to a decision. Instead, I should take a look at the other functions first.’
With that thought in mind, he looked at the other 4 options. The second option was [List Of Actors].
Su Yang clicked on it and realized. ‘[List Of Actors] is actually a combination of the previous 2 abilities, [Add Actors] and [Check Actors]. Other than that, there’s a new option, [Delete Actors].
‘Looks like if I don’t like a certain actor, I can just get rid of them. Its functions really have been greatly enhanced indeed.’
The following 3 choices were, [Watch Performance], [Reverse Reincarnation], and [Burning Fate], which were the same as before and had nothing special.
Su Yang only realized that he could define the events in the circus after he clicked on [Watch Performance]. The events in the circus included singing, dancing, slaughter, brawl, business, and geography. All in all, there were many different kinds of events to be chosen.
Su Yang looked at the list of actors and his gaze fell on Wang Shan.
‘This poor girl has always been among the normal actors. Should I give her a chance?’
With that thought in mind, Su Yang confirmed that the competition event of the circus to be singing and dancing. Then, he placed a few Little Monster Beans and Wang Shan among them.
Soon, in less than 10 minutes, a grand singing and dancing competition ended, where Wang Shan... Lost.
‘It’s not her fault...
Su Yang was completely caught off guard. He had clearly chosen to have a singing and dancing competition, and although the contestants on the stage were singing and dancing as usual, they were still filled with murderous intent. A Little Monster Bean who wielded a sword performed a sword dance and cut the other Little Monster Beans and Wang Shan into pieces...
[The circus is over.]
With an emotionless notification, the stage was shrouded in darkness. The lights of the circus came back on and the grand singing and dancing circus had ended.
Su Yang picked up the notebook. Just like the previous time, the option [Reverse Reincarnation] turned from gray to black. He could now choose...
Since it was the Little Monster Bean, Su Yang clicked the [Reverse Reincarnation] button without hesitation.
After he clicked it, the second page of the notebook silently opened. A handsome Little Monster Bean who wielded a sword appeared in the illustration.
It was completely white, looking more leaned and muscular than usual.
Su Yang looked at the 2 options below the illustration, [Confirm] and [Give up].
Su Yang chose [Confirm].
Another notification popped up before him.
[You will need to pay 200 pounds of raw meat to make this actor become a permanent actor. Do you agree to pay?]
[Agree]
As Su Yang agreed, an emotionless voice rang in his mind. ‘Reverse Reincarnation.’
Moments later, the second page of the notebook spontaneously combusted into ashes. The Little Monster Bean appeared on the stage with a longsword in its hand. It bowed to Su Yang and looked very handsome.
Su Yang clicked on [List Of Actors] and then clicked on [Check Actors]. As expected, it appeared on the first list of actors. Just like the grey Little Monster Bean from before, there was a red seal that said [Permanent Actor].
Su Yang took a look at its name. It was Little Monster Bean No.1.
Su Yang clicked on its profile picture and a notification popped up in front of him.
[Do you wish to resurrect this permanent actor? Before resurrecting, please check the Resurrection Guide.]
‘Resurrection... Guide?
‘There’s even a guide for resurrection?’
Su Yang clicked on the resurrection guide in confusion. Suddenly, a page appeared on the notebook.
[Resurrection Guide]
. The cost of resurrecting an actor is different depending on the actor. Generally it consists of raw meat, coins, items or living beings that are compatible with the actor.
. When actors are resurrected, their race will no longer be what they used to be and will become monsters automatically. They will retain 80% of their physical appearance while the remaining 20% will be the appearance based on the item or living beings compatible with them.
. The actor will retain their intelligence, memory and the memory of the sole survivor within the parallel dimensions, so their personality may change greatly compared to when they were alive.
. Actors cannot harm their masters, but they can betray and run away, so please check the actors’ attitude towards you from time to time.
After reading the 4 guidelines, Su Yang was shocked. He did not expect for there to be so many factors that he would need to look out for after he resurrected an actor!
Su Yang hesitated for a moment before he finally decided to give it a shot....
With that thought, he chose the [Yes] option.
A moment later, an option popped up before him.
[The price for resurrecting this actor is: 10 catties of soybeans, 1 catty of raw meat, 300 coins, and 1 pigeon.]
‘Well... other than the 300 coins which is a little painful, I can accept everything else.
Then, he clicked on No. 43, who had won the previous competition and the same notification popped up before him.
[Do you wish to resurrect this permanent actor? Before resurrecting, please check the Resurrection Guide.]
Su Yang did not continue reading. Instead, he clicked [Yes].
[The price for this actor’s resurrection is: 10 catties of soybeans, 5 catties of raw meat, 500 coins and 1 bat.]
‘Eh, it seems to cost more than Little Monster Bean No. 1...’
However, to the current Su Yang, those things were extremely simple. Hence, without any hesitation, he clicked [Yes] again.
After experiencing his new ability in the [Burning Reincarnation Circus], Su Yang left.
A notification rang beside Su Yang’s ears. [Please submit the required items for the transaction within 24 hours. Otherwise, the transaction will fail]. Jin Jin, the 2 storey tall leopard’s mouth slowly closed and its body became smaller and smaller until it became a little black kitten.
Jin Jin, who had transformed into her black kitten form, slowly woke up. She lowered her head and looked at her body before looking at Su Yang.
Jin Jin gave Su Yang a look that expressed “I believe you”.
In fact, Su Yang had indeed tricked her previously. However, after using the new function of [Burning Reincarnation Circus], Su Yang realized that he might actually not have to bother Jin Jin too much since most things could now be resolved outside.
‘This should be the most practical aspect after the [Burning Reincarnation Circus] got upgraded.’
Su Yang placed his hand on Jin Jin’s head and said, “Use [Circus Reality Projection].”
Instantly, an option appeared before him. [Please select mode. 1. Master Mode. 2. Guest Mode.]
Su Yang thought about it. As he did not know much about both modes, he chose [Master Mode] first.
[Mode selection successful. Please select a location.]
Su Yang looked around the courtyard and finally chose the wall at the northeastern corner of the courtyard. The virtual space had been upgraded and the courtyard had been expanded, so there was now an empty space.
Following Su Yang’s confirmation, a circus tent appeared in the northeast corner of the courtyard. There was also a sign outside the tent with the words [Burning Reincarnation Circus] written on it.
‘[Burning Reincarnation Circus] has actually been projected into the real world.’
Su Yang walked in and realized that the circus may not have seemed big on the outside, but the inside was no different from the circus he had seen in the parallel dimension. However, it seemed like in the real world, the [Burning Reincarnation Circus] was not as powerful. It could not affect Su Yang and Little Deeny could not teleport to the first row.
Hence, Su Yang could only walk to the center of the first row.
When he arrived at the first row, the layout there was no different from the one in the parallel dimension, there were chairs and a notebook. Su Yang picked up the notebook and realized that there were only two options, [Check Actors] and [Watch Performance].
‘In that case... If I want to conduct a deathmatch, I’m going to have to continue using the [Burning Reincarnation Circus] as per usual to utilize the abilities.’
Su Yang clicked to [Check Actors] and realized that there were only 2 characters in the cast roster. He then clicked on [Watch Performance].
After that option opened up, there was a notification.
[Please set the number of elimination rounds (once a day).]
The duration ranged from 1 to 30 rounds.
Su Yang chose 5 rounds and the events of the competition appeared before him once again.
Su Yang thought about it and chose [Agree].
The difference between that time and how it usually would be in the parallel dimension was that as Su Yang chose [Agree], the choice of actors did not appear before him. Instead, the circus commenced immediately.
This time, all the souls in the [Burning Reincarnation Circus] came out, including Monkey, Sea Serpent, Wang Shan and many Little Monster Beans.
Just like what Su Yang had seen before, they had many clones and all those clones were fighting non-stop...
After the circus ended, the last one left on stage was the Sea Serpent wearing a half black clown mask. The mask was placed on the left side of the Sea Serpent’s face and its expression was scrunched up like it was crying silently, making it an eerie sight to see.
Su Yang’s heart skipped a beat as he recalled that the Clown Sea Serpent seemed to be the winner when he first used the [Burning Reincarnation Circus].
‘Him again...?
‘Is he really that strong?’
Just as Su Yang was hesitating, Janet’s voice came from the entrance of the circus. “Master, I’ve bought the stuff.”
