Su Yang was elated because he had dropped off the weight of his shoulders and hummed a tune as he entered the villa.
Tang Jing came out wearing an apron and wiped her hands on it. She said to Su Yang with a gentle tone, “You’re back. Have you eaten? I made you porridge.”
She really looked like a virtuous wife waiting for her husband to return home.
Su Yang smiled and said, “I’ve eaten already. But I’ll definitely have a bowl of the porridge that you’ve made.”
Tang Jing’s smile became even gentler. She whispered to Su Yang, “Wait a minute.” Then, she went to the kitchen to get some porridge.
After Tang Jing left, Tang Xiaomi quietly stuck her head out from the wall. She held Gru in her arms and looked around cautiously. When she realized that her mother was not around, she quickly waved at Su Yang.
Su Yang walked over curiously and squatted down. “What’s wrong, Xiaomi?”
Tang Xiaomi placed her hand beside Su Yang’s ear and whispered, “Su Yang, let me tell you. Mommy has been talking about you at home non-stop. She’s worried why you’re not home yet.”
Su Yang was stunned for a moment. Then, he turned to look at Tang Xiaomi, only to see a cute smile on her face.
Su Yang’s heart warmed for a moment before he smiled and patted her head. He then led her to the dining table.
Coincidentally, Tang Jing brought the porridge over as well. Su Yang took a bite, it was indeed fragrant. Hence, he fed Tang Xiaomi half a bowl of porridge as he ate.
Tang Xiaomi was a worry-free child. When Su Yang fed her, she would eat away happily. Tang Jing, who was sitting at the side with her chin resting on her hand, smiled until her eyes curved.
After the meal, Su Yang, Tang Jing, and Xiaomi played in the living room for a while and watched television. They only returned to their room after Tang Jing carried Xiaomi to bed.
With the [Three Days Without Sleep Halo], he did not need much sleep. That was also why he was not in a hurry to go back to his room to look at the stocks.
When she returned to her room, Gru and Dagger Girl were both in there. Tang Xiaomi loved both her little friends very much. When she wasn’t carrying them around, she would definitely put them back in Su Yang’s room.
That was why Tang Jing did not notice them even after they had been living in the villa for half a month.
Su Yang followed both of them into the virtual space after putting them there.
When he arrived at the virtual space, Little Deeny and Little Hus were already waiting in the living room. Su Yang asked Gru and Dagger Girl to play first before he went to his study with Little Deeny and Little Hus.
Su Yang sat behind his study table and looked at Little Deeny. “Have you chosen?”
Little Deeny nodded. “Master, it’s been chosen.”
As she spoke, she waved her hand and a few stocks appeared before Su Yang.
Previously, when Fatty Lu mentioned that the technology stock market was going to be the next big thing, Su Yang had already given Little Deeny an order to choose the technology stock that was recently purchased by the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Then, she would filter through the data based on the market value, the recent increase in the market value, and so on.
Sure enough, in the end, Little Deeny selected 5 potentially good stocks. Among the 5 stocks, the one that Fatty Lu recommended, NAIRA, was included as well.
Su Yang’s thoughts were simple. He felt that Fatty Lu had given him the right direction. However, with Little Hus around, he definitely knew better about the trend those stocks were going to take.
On the other hand, the Silver Mission had a requirement for short-term trading like stocks, it had to be locked for fifteen days. In that case, Su Yang had to choose a suitable stock or a portfolio of stocks. He had to earn as much money as possible or not lose money when he had to liquidate.
There were thousands of stocks on the market and Little Hus’s [Potential Sniffing] was limited to sniffing out the changes of specific stocks within 10 days.
10 days with 5 stocks per day would only equal a total of 50 stocks. Before the 51st stock could be sniffed, the first stock could be sniffed again. The stock market changes rapidly, there was no way that kind of operation would work.
Therefore, the best solution for Su Yang would be to do a targeted search.
‘As expected, with Fatty Lu’s information and Little Deeny’s preliminary screening, the success rate of these 5 stocks is frighteningly high.
‘Other than 1 stock that has no potential for a week, the other four all have both strong and weak potentials.
‘The NAIRA that Fatty Lu had introduced was the stock with the greatest potential. It will be rising to its upper limit next Thursday, 3 times in a row, then... Little Hus hasn’t been able to sniff out anything further due to his restriction.
‘As for the other 3 stocks, 1 of them will reach its upper limit twice, the other once. As for the last stock, VIMICRO, it will only be reaching its upper limit on the monday after next week. I don’t know what will happen after that...’
Su Yang hesitated. ‘How should I choose...
‘To be on the safe side, I would definitely choose NAIRA and then hold onto it. However, what would happen if I cashed out after it reached its upper limit 3 times? That’s a problem.
‘Little Hus’s nose is too frustrating, if only he could sniff it for a little longer.’
As he thought about it, Su Yang’s eyes lit up. ‘Instead of only thinking about it through Little Hus’s angle, can I consider it based on the Silver Mission’s standards?
‘Since investing in companies and investing in stocks have different requirements, there should be more than one way to buy stocks, shouldn’t there?’
With that thought in mind, Su Yang turned on the system and dragged the question mark on the [Help] button to the Silver Mission.
As expected, a part of the explanation popped up on the Silver Mission:
[Number of projects]: Only five projects. The quality of the projects outweighs the quantity. If there are more than 5 projects, the 5 projects with the highest investment will be prioritized.
[Investment Value]: The investment amount of each of 5 five projects is added to 50 million yuan. You may exceed it.
[Type of Investment]: Fixed assets, risk investments, stocks, stock exchange, futures contract etc. Different projects have different requirements.
After reading the explanation, Su Yang’s first reaction was, ‘What the f*ck! I can’t invest in 6 projects? But I’ve already invested in 5 of them! If I invest in stocks, wouldn’t I be investing 5 million yuan in vain?’
However, thinking about how he still had a few million yuan in cash and could invest it into the stock market, Su Yang believed that it was not hard to accept. It was better to know in advance than to realize later that he could not complete the mission.
Su Yang pressed the [Help] button and clicked on [Stock].
An explanation popped up before him.
[Investment Type: Stock]: Lock down the warehouse for 15 days, or during these 15 days, the market value of the stock during the closing period will not be lower than the original capital.
‘What, there really is another option?’
Su Yang thought about it. ‘The first option is to buy the shares, never to trade them anymore. Obviously, this isn’t suitable for his current situation.
‘However, the second option is feasible.
‘If I can do it flawlessly and buy other stocks after the NAIRA stops reaching its upper limit, I could complete this mission.’
At that thought, Su Yang felt relieved.
He asked the Finance Department to transfer the remaining 25 million yuan into his personal account under [Current Accounts].
Private companies have that advantage, even if the operation is somewhat illegal, as long as the accounts tallies, everything would be fine.
After receiving the money, Su Yang gave Little Deeny the authority to operate his accounts and asked her to start purchasing it next week.
The next day, on Monday, the stock market opened and Little Deeny began to acquire NAIRA. With the processing speed that was far faster than the human brain and the seamless connection to the internet, Little Deeny’s operation was extremely fast.
In order not to affect the stock price, Little Deeny did not acquire in large quantities, she did not acquire at the crucial points. Instead, she would only acquire in small and medium quantities when large quantities were being sold.
Beihe Science and Technology was a rather large player with a market value of about 10 billion yuan. Therefore, Su Yang’s small amount of money did not attract much attention.
Of course... financial firms that have been keeping an eye on Beihe Science and Technology were not among them.
At Lujiazui, a skyscraper.
In the same familiar room. Mr. Niu was still in the office.
However, since it was time to acquire the stocks, he did not need to pay too much attention to it. Therefore, he drank tea while reading the reports and data on the webpage. He even had the time to play two games of Landlord online.
Just as he was looking at the data and playing Landlord, a subordinate suddenly rushed over.
He walked to Mr. Niu’s side. His subordinate bent down and whispered to Mr. Niu, “Mr. Niu, it seems like someone is acquiring stocks like us.”
“Oh? Is that so?” Mr. Niu looked up with some interest. “Which rival company is it?”
The subordinate shook his head. “I don’t think it’s a rival company, their funds are very small. Also, it seems like they are acquiring in secret to avoid attracting our attention.”
He paused for a moment before saying hesitantly, “From the way he operates, it seems like... A little similar to the one we met last time.”
When Mr. Niu heard that, he waved his hand nonchalantly. “If it’s that small player with a value of 0.0x%, ignore him. He probably noticed some abnormalities and wanted to hitch a ride with us. Don’t worry, continue acquiring the stocks.”
The subordinate nodded. “Understood.”
After the subordinate left, Mr. Niu finished his game of Landlord and took a sip of tea slowly.
He put down the tea. With his professionalism, he opened his own account and stared at the board for a while. As a well-known figure in the country, he had been poached by the Lu Financial Group to be a vice-president. Mr. Niu’s eyes were very accurate. When he saw the small quantities being acquired, Mr. Niu touched his chin. ‘This guy’s operating rather well, he seems to have improved a lot from last time...’
However, after looking at it for a while, he closed the account without paying too much attention because the other party was only acquiring small quantities. Furthermore, the other party was acquiring at a rate where it would not affect the stock price, which would not affect Mr. Niu’s plans.
Even though they were fighting over the stocks, there was still a difference in their size, so other than feeling annoyed, Mr. Niu was not affected.
It took Little Deeny 2 days to complete the acquisition.
When Little Deeny was done acquiring, a notification popped up in front of Su Yang. [Are you sure you want to use 35 million yuan worth of shares as the fifth project?]
That’s right. It was not 25 million yuan, but 35 million yuan. Su Yang still had 976,000 yuan in the stock market previously, increasing it to 35 million yuan after sourcing for more funds to accumulate an extra 20 million yuan. All the money had been given to Little Deeny to use as she saw fit.
Of course, in order to avoid any problems, Su Yang had Little Hus check on the future trends of those 5 stocks.
Firstly, it was to confirm the follow-up trend of NAIRA. Secondly, he was afraid that he would have affected that stock due to the amount of funds he allocated into that.
Fortunately, Little Hus did not detect any change in NAIRA’s trend except that it would stop reaching its upper limit on the following monday.
What was even more fortunate was when Little Hus was smelling the other 3 stocks, he realized the last stock, VIMICRO, was actually going to be reaching its upper limit for 4 days in a row.
Therefore, in order to earn as much money as possible, Su Yang and Little Deeny had also decided on a plan. On Friday, after NAIRA had reached its limit, they would sell their products and buy VIMICRO. Then, they would lay low for another 4 days.
As for the rest of the plan, Su Yang planned to adjust it according to what Little Hus sniffs.
If there are no more suitable stocks, they would use all the money to buy bank stocks.
After confirming his plan, Su Yang clicked [Confirm] without hesitation.
