Chapter 248 Becoming Lin Jia’s Boss
Could it be that someone had the ability to hide from [Heaven’s Eye)?]
Su Yang felt like it was unlikely.
It was mostly that troublemaker who was up to some mischief!
Su Yang coughed and said, “According to what you guys are saying. I feel that our house isn’t haunted. Instead, someone is deliberately pranking us.”
Deeny commented, “However, who would prank us all for nothing. All of us have been pranked!”
Su Yang smiled. “I don’t know. However, try playing a prank again and you’ll find out what’s going to happen.”
Saying that, Su Yang directly asked Little Deeny, “Did you play a prank today?” Little Deeny reacted. “Of course not.”
Su Yang nodded, Little Deeny wasn’t lying.
He continued and asked Dagger Girl, “This prank. Did you do it?”
Dagger Girl exhaled in a milky voice, “Of course not me! How could I let myself cut onions! It’s painful!”
Well, Dagger Girl wasn’t lying either. Su Yang asked Gru, “Gru, were you the one who was messing around?”
Gru shook his head as his mouth moved. “Gru! Gru.”
Although it couldn’t understand what was being said, Su Yang saw that it wasn’t lying.
Su Yang asked Little Hus again, “Little Hus, have you been playing pranks today?”
Little Hus replied excitedly, “How can that be?! Certainly it isn’t me!”
As soon as Little Hus said that, Su Yang knew that it was lying.
Su Yang used his (Heaven’s Eye) and pointed to Little Hus. “There’s only one murderer! That’s you! Little Hus!”
Little Hus’s eyes went wide. “I’m innocent! It’s not me!”
Su Yang continued, “Don’t pretend. My silver ability is able to tell if someone is lying or not, and you’re obviously lying!”
Little Hus’ mouth opened but in the end, it still didn’t say anything.
It had apparently been caught by Su Yang..
Then, Su Yang threw Little Hus into the washing machine and timed it for an hour. ‘This guy, if he doesn’t get punished, he probably wouldn’t even feel guilty about it! How dare you play a prank on us!’
Half an hour later, the washing machine was still humming in the laundry room...
Wearing a black and white gothic loli costume, Bubbles hummed a children’s song and bounced to the laundry room.
When she arrived at the door of the laundry room, she looked around and noticed that no one was paying attention to her, so she pulled out a carrot from somewhere and ate it as she walked in.
She slowly walked over to the washing machine, then touched it and said to Little Hus inside, “Little Hus, I didn’t think Uncle Su Yang had a lie detector test, I’m sorry to have wronged you.”
Little Hus was looking at Bubbles through the glass cover with a frightened face in the washing machine. As it spun around in the washing machine, it opened its mouth to speak. However, because it was in the water, it could only make a whimpering sound.
Bubbles touched the washing machine again and smiled sweetly. “Be good, I’ll remember your sacrifice. When you get out, we’ll continue the mischief!”
“We’re right where we want to! Let the whole family be afraid of us!” said Bubbles, holding the carrot while puffing up her face like she was pepping herself with a pep talk. After saying that, Bubbles added, “However, Uncle Su Yang, Sister Deeny, Pool, Sanque and Janet... We won’t mess with them, they’re too strong.”
With that, Bubbles took another bite of the carrot with a wicked smile on her face.
Little Hus continued spinning in the washing machine. “Woo!”
Three days later, Young Master Ying sent a text message to Su Yang, telling him that everything was done so that Su Yang could come and take over ownership of the company.
Su Yang thought about it and called Wang Dong, asking him to bring along the company’s legal department and finance department to research those three companies to sign some legal paperwork.
The entire process of research and the signing of the contracts took two days.
The health care company was a completely empty shell company, with no plant, equipment or employees. ‘I heard Ying Tian say that it was a company registered by one of his relatives in the early years, and the qualifications were all complete, but it hasn’t been producing anything. So, he transferred ownership of it to Su Yang.’
The film and television company turned out to be a company owned by a friend of Ying Tian before he bought it over.
That company was originally a small film and television company with all the necessary qualifications. Every year, they’d only produce two or three films so since Ying Tian needed the company for his purposes this year, it was also sold to him.
However, this company was currently doing business so the original owners took their personnel along with them. Aside from key staff required to run a large project currently in progress, the remaining employees left.
The producer of the project that was left behind also said that if it wasn’t for the fact that this project had already been awarded to this company and was in the middle of production, it would probably have been taken away as well if it weren’t so inconvenient to transfer the contract.
The last artist agency belonged to Ying Tian. He was a lot more generous, and didn’t take anyone with him.
However, the company wasn’t very big, except for two third-tier stars and a few trainees.
It was said that Ying Tian was interested in the entertainment industry so he started this company. However, after two years, he gave it up because it was boring.
The company was handed over to Wang Dong and Su Yang would still have to see the final report. However, the money had already arrived.
The 10 million yuan prepared by Ying Tian, all in cash, was packed in four suitcases and was shipped directly to him in a red Ferrari.
The one who came this time wasn’t Ying Tian himself, but his female secretary. She was the beautiful-looking one Su Yang had seen in the video.
When Su Yang left the building, that female secretary was already standing next to the red Ferrari, elegantly standing there expressionlessly.
Beautiful cars and women had always been an eye-catching combination since ancient times. The attractiveness she and the Ferrari had was so amazing that almost everyone who walked from this neighborhood would look over involuntarily.
She didn’t have the slightest impatience or embarrassment and just stood there quietly like everyone in front of her was a big cabbage. The pride she had on her face made her look somewhat like Ying Tian.
When she saw Su Yang come out, she took the initiative to come forward, extended her hand to shake Su Yang’s hand and took out a bag of documents from her backpack to hand it to him. “Young Master Su, the money is in the front seat of the Ferrari, if, you can count it.”
Su Yang only counted the money on the street and quickly waved his hand. “There’s no need, I trust you guys.”
Then he jolted the document in his hand. “What’s this again?”
The female secretary said, “Here are the documents and contracts related to the car. Master said you didn’t have a replacement car here so I brought you a new car. I hope you like this small gift of ours.”
Saying that, the female secretary extended her hand to point to the red Ferrari next to
her.
Su Yang looked at the sexy, fiery red, sporty car. It was the perfect car that every man dreamed of but unfortunately, the car didn’t come with a license plate.
‘I don’t seem to have a driver’s license either...’
The female secretary continued, “The paperwork and contracts are inside, written in your name. You can bring your driver’s license over and apply for one. There’s no due date. Young Master Ying has sorted it all
out.”
Ying Tian was really thoughtful so Su Yang was a little embarrassed to refuse. He could only nod and say, “Then thank him for me.”
“Okay.” The female secretary nodded slightly, then extended her hand again. “Then, Young Master Su, I’ll take my leave.”
Su Yang shook hands with her. “Take care.”
The female secretary walked to the side of the road, and an Audi immediately drove over before a driver got off to open the rear door
After the female secretary went in, the driver returned to the car, and the vehicle slowly started.
Su Yang looked at the back of the female secretary from afar and lamented. ‘Look at other people. Even their female secretaries are more beautiful than models, where do I find a female secretary...’
‘When the time comes, I can probably get one. Although the secretary would have nothing to do sometimes, as long as they were beautiful, it was alright if they were idle.’
Looking at the Ferrari in front of him, the documents in hand and the key, Su Yang thought about it, and gave Tang Jing a phone call.
Among his known acquaintances, only Tang Jing knew how to drive....
The phone was connected, Tang Jing’s gentle voice came from the other side of the phone, “What’s wrong, my dear?”
‘Uhh...’
‘When did that nickname come about? Why is there an inexplicable sense of shame.’
Su Yang asked, “Sister Tang, do you have any spare space in your garage?” Tang Jing thought and replied, “Yes, that villa in the suburbs.”
Su Yang said, “Can I store my car with you first.”
Tang Jing didn’t hesitate and agreed. “Yes, you can. I’ll give you the address. Just drive over there, I’ll come over later and open the door for you.”
Su Yang said awkwardly, “Can you help me drive my car over...”
Tang Jing was speechless.
Tang Jing continued, “You don’t have a driver’s license, do you?”
Su Yang replied, “To be precise, I haven’t even learned to drive.”
Tang Jing was speechless yet again. She said gently, “Okay. Then, wait for me for half an hour, I’ll take a taxi to your place. Give me the address.”
Su Yang replied, “Okay.”
50 minutes later, Tang Jing arrived in front of Su Yang.
After seeing the fiery red Ferrari, Tang Jing was stunned. “This is your car?”
Su Yang shook the contract and documents in his hands. “It probably is.”
Tang Jing asked again, “Did someone else give it to you?”
Su Yang nodded his head. “Right.”
Tang Jing opened her mouth, and in the end, she didn’t press on since she was a mature woman.
She touched the red Ferrari, studied it for a while, and said, “This seems to be a Ferrari 488, it’s around three to four million.”
This time it was Su Yang’s turn to be surprised. “Really?” He really didn’t understand how expensive luxury cars are.
Then right after that, he asked, “Would anyone like to buy a used car?”
Tang Jing was speechless.
She didn’t have the good sense to say, “Even if someone were to help you sell it, this car already has your name on it. You still need to practice your license first and register it before selling it.”
Su Yang felt... that she made quite a lot of sense.
Tang Jing drove, Su Yang sat on the passenger side and drove all the way to the suburban villa.
On the way, Su Yang received asset evaluations from several companies sent by Wang Dong
He opened the Little Deeny, expanded her into the tablet mode, and began to browse. The healthcare company was nothing special. The film and television company’s project was called ‘Fighting to Defeat the Buddha’ and was a part of the network so Su Yang felt like it was quite familiar...
While waiting, I can probably send Bubbles over to study and for reference to how they do things. There might be unexpected benefits to reap.
The artist agency’s report was a little more complicated. After all, it involved multiple employees. Su Yang went through them one by one as there was a group of six or seven girl trainees. From the resume, they were youthful, beautiful, and had good looks. After all, in the film and television industry, if there was anything in abundance, it would be fresh beauties.
There were also two third-tier actors. A male actor called Luo Yi was included. He had acted in two or three popular TV dramas in supporting roles, and had a certain fan base.
The female actress was similar. She has played four popular dramas, three with women and one with a man. Her name was Lin Jia.
