Chapter 294 The Beautiful Secretary Who Comes To Work Early In The Morning
‘I felt like I was very cool when I used it but I didn’t think it’d actually cost that much. I didn’t realize I only had 2,000 coins left.
‘However, I unknowingly saved three Bronze Points.”
Su Yang had planned to use a Bronze Point for his abilities. The remaining points would be used once the cooldown for the (Lucky Disfiguring Brick) was up ‘Let’s see what nice abilities I can randomly get.’
‘As for my Gold Missions, they’re on track for completion and are over 80% done. It looks like the system will be upgraded soon. I’m really looking forward to a system upgrade.
‘However, I’m going to have to save up an extra random point. After all, I’ll be able to make the monsters and special items around me +3 after the system upgrade. I’ll definitely need a large number of Random Points then.’
However, it was still a critical moment although he had to save up more Random Points. If he didn’t sort those three people out soon, Su Yang felt like he’d be in trouble sooner or later so he’d eventually have to add these points as well!
While deep in thought, he opened the system store.
It was Tuesday, a new week, and the system store had been refreshed with three items.
Random points x 4
Guardian talisman x 10
Lipstick of Unknown Abilities. ‘Hmm. Lipstick of Unknown Abilities? What’s this thing...!
If it wasn’t because the system store wanted to give him this option, it was unlikely that Su Yang would add points to lipstick in his life. After all, it was something for a woman.
Su Yang couldn’t help but think. ‘Since the lipstick is available, would there eventually be a face wash, foundation, or even divine water with unknown abilities in the future? Something like that...
‘Ahem, this is really something to look forward to...’
Ignoring this unattractive special item, Su Yang first redeemed a Random Point, and the coins changed from 2260 to 1760 as his Random Point count increased from o to 1.
After redeeming a Random Point, Su Yang got up and went to look for Little Hus. After all, he was adding points and still relied on Little Hus’s [Opportunity Sniffing]
Lately, Little Hus hardly went anywhere else and stayed in the utility room all day as he made drawings of Janet. The company had been in the process of developing a new product which would be the first of its kind in the world.
In fact, Su Yang wanted to tell Dagger Girl, “If you’re ever kidnapped, just blink your eyes.” Unfortunately, Dagger Girl wouldn’t be able to open her eyes so she couldn’t blink at all.
As he thought this, Su Yang went to the utility room, and as expected, it was drawing Janet’s picture.
‘I have to say, it actually made some progress!’ There were now five more lines in Janet’s hand in the drawing. This meant that Little Hus was drawing increasingly realistic drawings, even to the point where people in his drawing had five fingers.
Dagger Girl, on the other hand, was sitting around while shaking her blade-shaped hand in boredom.
Occasionally, Little Hus would sneak up on her to poke her with a little horn. Then, she’d react by immediately clapping her hands. “Wow! Little Hus, you draw so amazingly! Sister Janet is really pretty!”
Every now and then, an ambitious smile would be plastered on Little Hus’s face
‘This... It really was a kidnapping, wasn’t it! It must be!’
As he sputtered in his mind, Su Yang told Dagger Girl that he’d be borrowing Little Hus again and carried it out.
After going out this time, Su Yang even made a point to turn around to look. As a result, he found that the moment his left foot left the room, she had already crawled out of the utility room to play the moment his other foot stepped out of the room.
After pulling Little Hus out, Su Yang looked at it and said, “I’m in desperate need of a special item.”
Little Hus had a look of displeasure on his face after being disturbed. “What item?”
Su Yang mulled it over, “There’s no need for any conditions. I just need to know the appearance. You can look for human items.” Little Hus’s face wrinkled up. “I... I’ll try my best. It feels difficult.”
Su Yang replied, “I don’t want you to feel. I want me to feel! I need this item and it’s very important. No matter what you do, you’ve got to get it for me!”
Then, Su Yang offered, “I can give you some benefits.”
Little Hus asked carelessly, “What kind of benefits?”
Su Yang answered, “I’m not going with you to look for it this time. I’ll let Janet accompany you instead.”
Upon hearing the name Janet, the eyes of the dog head on the pillow lit up. “Really?!”
Su Yang nodded. Immediately after saying that, he asked, “Janet. I have something for you over here.”
In the middle of their conversation, Janet appeared and Su Yang handed Little Hus over to him, instructing him to bring it around to look for special items.
Then, Su Yang gave Janet 10,000 yuan in cash and told her to use a cab to look for the items.
Janet had always been the kind of person who was cruel and didn’t say much. After taking the money, Little Hus went outside to begin looking for special items.
With Janet taking his share of responsibilities, Su Yang could have some time to relax, but he wasn’t idle either. The first thing he did when he returned to the real world was to destroy the bug. Since the other party had already realized their discovery of the bugs, he had no need to continue pretending. Then, he packed up his things and prepared to move to his basement. ‘I’m exposed and it’s unsafe.’
The basement should be safe long enough to give himself a buffer period.
After all, he was still an ordinary person despite possessing a lot of special items. A knife wound or a shot would still kill him so he had to put safety as his first priority.
However, he didn’t expect the doorbell to ring just as soon as he packed a few things.
Su Yang was in awe.
He looked at the time. ‘It’s only 7:30 in the morning. Who’s got so much time to look for me at this hour?’
There weren’t many people who knew about this location. ‘Did those three people come to the door?’
Now that Janet wasn’t here and Pool went to work with the rest, Su Yang was a little hesitant. He didn’t know if he should hide or break another finger to just kill them.
Although he knew killing the other party would be the best decision, he wasn’t sure who was outside the door. If it was just a meter checker, his finger would’ve been broken for nothing! ‘It’s going to hurt all day!’
After mulling it over for a moment, Su Yang made up his mind. ‘Whatever! I should wash my hands with soap as an insurance policy. Let’s see what happens!’
As he thought about it, Su Yang got the (Unorthodox Soap) from the virtual space and was just about to go to the toilet.
However, just as he was about to wash his hands, Pan Zhaodi’s cold and clear voice came from outside the door, “Mr. Su. Are you at home?”
‘Huh? Pan Zhaodi?’
Su Yang stopped what he was doing, then shoved the soap into his pocket as he returned to the door. He looked through the peephole and it was indeed Pan Zhaodi.
He refrained from looking through the peephole because there were many movies and dramas where the lead actor would be killed after getting shot through the peephole. While he didn’t know who the other party was, he was definitely more reluctant to die.
After he confirmed that Pan Zhaodi was alone, Su Yang opened the door.
Standing outside the door, Pan Zhaodi was the blue uniform that Su Yang once wore when he first met her.
The tight-fitting uniform on her body and the bulge of her bosom made her look tall and sexy.
Her slender legs looked as good as Chu Xia’s but were probably darker due to her years of martial arts training. However, they were still more toned compared to Chu Xia.
Coupled with her cold, expressionless face, her image of an ascetic secretary was exhilarating.
“Uhh...
“Report for work?
‘Is she really going to be my secretary...
‘And she’s here the very next day. That’s rather fast, isn’t it?’ Su Yang coughed. “That... Okay. Wait for me. I’ll clean up first.”
After saying that, he wanted to continue packing, but Pan Zhaodi reached out to stop him. “Mr. Su, I’ll do it.”
After offering her services, she walked into the room with both her slender legs and began helping Su Yang gather his things.
Su Yang didn’t have much and this was originally her home. She knew the things that had been there and the ones that were new so it didn’t take her long to pack up.
After packing up his things, Pan Zhaodi turned to Su Yang and said, “Mr. Su, you didn’t wash up today. I’ll accompany you to wash up first.”
After saying that, she went into the toilet and helped Su Yang squeeze some toothpaste onto the toothbrush before filling a cup with water.
Su Yang was speechless.
‘Does a secretary have this kind of duty?’
Since Pan Zhaodi had already done those things, he couldn’t refuse and followed her into the bathroom.
Once he was in the toilet, Pan Zhaodi handed him the cup and toothbrush.
Su Yang took it and brushed his teeth. As soon as he finished brushing his teeth, Pan Zhaodi took the initiative to take the cup and toothbrush that Su Yang had used before pointing to the basin. “Su Yang, you can spit the water there. I’ll put the used water away.”
Su Yang was speechless.
“Ok, now, wash your face.”
After wetting his face, Su Yang wanted to reach out and take the face wash, but Pan Zhaodi had already squeezed it into her hand, reaching over to give it to him.
Su Yang was utterly speechless now. He scraped the face wash from Pan Zhaodi’s hand. Then, he lathered it on his face and washed it off. The moment he was done, a towel was already waiting in front of him.
Su Yang was now convinced.
After packing up, Pan Zhaodi took his things and returned to the basement with Su Yang. When she went to the basement, Pan Zhaodi didn’t even bat an eyelid to Su Yang living in such a place or have any other thoughts.
After putting down the things, Pan Zhaodi took out her cell phone and stood in front of Su Yang. “Director Su, I need the phone numbers of every head of every department in the company along with your scheduled meetings with them. I’ll be helping you with your schedule for the various meetings, events, meals, and private events.”
“If there’s anything you’d like to do or events you’d like to schedule, I’ll book the venue in advance and help you plan your time and arrangements. I’ll be a dutiful secretary that lives up to the trust you put in me.”
Su Yang was speechless but believed her. ‘Alright then.’
So next, Su Yang gave her the phone number for Wang Dong and the rest.
Pan Zhaodi took the initiative to call the department heads so Su Yang could verify her identity. Then, she began taking note of the various arrangements and matters within the company.
Looking at Pan Zhaodi’s beautiful neck as she held a mobile phone to note things down, Su Yang thought. This half a million I spent was really worthwhile!’
When Pan Zhaodi hung up the phone, he gave her the phone numbers to the people in charge of the Find Me app, the agency, along with the film and television company. Then, he asked her to include those in her arrangements as well.
Pan Zhaodi obediently wrote down the phone number along with the list of staff. Then, she began making calls.
She was busy until 3 o’clock in the afternoon. She had put together the affairs of several companies, listed the articles of association in an orderly manner before planning Su Yang’s schedule.
Su Yang was amazed throughout the whole process. ‘Pan Zhaodi seems like an easy-going person but she’s not just a martial artist... Who would’ve guessed that she makes a great secretary too?
[Should I get her to submit her resume and evaluate her with the (A Talent Printer That Likes To Jog]?
[Just as Su Yang was thinking about this, Little Deeny vibrated in his pocket. Su Yang picked it up for a look and saw a message. (Master, Janet found something. We need to speak with you.]
‘Huh? Is Janet looking for the items by himself? Did he find a special item?’
