Hence, she gently struggled out of Su Yang’s embrace and blinked her beautiful eyes at him. “What did you say?”
Su Yang looked at her and smiled. Then, he hugged her affectionately and said softly, “I said that I’ll grow old with you and give birth to a few children. Then, when I’m old... I’ll play around with them.”
Chu Xia was in Su Yang’s embrace and no longer doubted Su Yang’s feelings. Her heart was thumping and her face was flushed red like a mountain of cherry blossoms.
Hence, she rested her head on Su Yang’s shoulder and whispered, “Are... Are you confessing to me then?”
Su Yang could tell that the girl was shy, so he held back his laughter. “If you think it is, then so be it.”
The warm atmosphere was instantly ruined by Su Yang.
Chu Xia frowned and struggled out of Su Yang’s embrace in anger. “Hey! How can you be like this?! What do you mean by “so be it”? Yes means yes, no means no.”
Hence, Su Yang raised his hand and begged for mercy. “Fine, fine. If you say yes, then yes.”
Chu Xia was even angrier now. “Hey, hey! What do you mean by that? Are you willing to or not?!
“I’m a girl, but I’ve already been so proactive and have even slapped myself. Yet, you’re not even willing to give me a formal confession!”
Chu Xia was so angry that her eyes were red. She wished she could grab Su Yang and slap him.
Then, Su Yang looked at her. “Chu Xia, let’s be in a relationship.”
The confession that she had imagined suddenly arrived. Chu Xia, who was originally fierce like a tigress, instantly became a little kitten.
Earlier on, she was the one who asked Su Yang to confess. In the end, he actually confessed. For a moment, she was at a loss. ‘I feel like... I’m dreaming.’
Hence, she stood up in a panic and her hands moved subconsciously. “I... I need to go to the toilet.”
With that, she kicked her shoes and ran away in a flurry.
Looking at her cute and flustered back view, Su Yang smiled...
In the toilet, Chu Xia looked at herself in the dressing mirror. Her originally fair face was now as red as a little apple. She had completely lost her usual composure and confidence.
If her appearance had not confirmed that she was the one in the mirror, she would have suspected that the girl with the “shy face that was as red as an apple” was herself.
“Ahhh!” Chu Xia cried out softly and then patted her face, “Chu Xia, calm down!
“Men are all people who keep changing their minds, you mustn’t trust him so easily. He might be teasing you again in fact!”.
Just as Chu Xia was mumbling to herself, there was a knock on the toilet door.
Chu Xia jumped, “Who is it?”
The toilet door opened and Su Yang leaned against the door. He looked at her with a faint smile and repeated, “Chu Xia, shall we get into a relationship?”
Chu Xia was speechless.
“Ahhh! Get out, get out! How could you break into the toilet!”
Chu Xia, who had just recovered, blushed again. She frantically pushed Su Yang out of the toilet and closed the door with a click.
With her back against the door, Chu Xia panted heavily. She felt so hot that she felt like she was about to burst into flames!
‘Ahhh!
‘Su Yang seems to be serious!
‘Am I really going to be in a relationship now?
‘Am I dreaming?’
Chu Xia’s heart thumped loudly. Her face burned and her mind went blank. ‘This feels like a dream.’
Then, she quickly squatted down and patted her face, silently saying, “Calm down, Chu Xia! Calm down!”
Thus, Chu Xia stayed in the toilet for a full 10 minutes before she was able to extricate herself from the feelings of being confessed to by someone she loved. Then, she went to the toilet, washed her hands and walked out of the toilet shakily.
Even if she tried to pretend to be calm, it was obvious that she was floating. And... There was an involuntary smile on her face.
When she reached the living room, Su Yang was already playing games.
Chu Xia tried her best not to look silly. Hence, she thought about it for a while before she waved at Su Yang. “Hi...”
After that, Chu Xia wished she could find a hole to hide in. ‘What am I doing? Am I asking a stranger for directions?
‘What a silly move!
‘Where did the confident, elegant, optimistic and cheerful Chu Xia go!
‘Oh my God!
‘Chu Xia! You’re hopeless!’
Just as Chu Xia was mumbling to herself, Su Yang turned around with a smile and repeated, “Chu Xia, let’s be in a relationship.”
“Ahhh!” Chu Xia heard this and felt like she had gone crazy again. Then, she turned around and ran back to the toilet to cool down.
Looking at her back, Su Yang felt that... ‘This is the cutest moment I’ve ever seen her in.’
After another 20 minutes, Chu Xia finally composed herself and came out of the toilet with a pout.
When Su Yang heard her footsteps, he turned around to continue his confession.
Unexpectedly, Chu Xia beat her to it. “Hey, hey! Stop talking! How many times are you going to say that?!”
Su Yang replied nonchalantly, “I’ll say it until you’re happy. ( ͡ᴖ ͜ʖ ͡ᴖ)”
Then, Chu Xia felt sweet in her heart and the corners of her lips involuntarily curled up. She almost couldn’t hold it in anymore, but she still tried her best to suppress her smile. Then, she tried her best to stop herself from getting excited. “Alright, alright. Let’s be in a relationship then. Just, don’t say it anymore...”
After that, she added softly, “Saying it too much makes you sound insincere.”
Then, Su Yang put down the game controller and walked over to hug her.
This time, Chu Xia did not resist and gently leaned against Su Yang’s chest as the two of them hugged each other quietly.
After a while, Su Yang lowered his head and looked at Chu Xia. “Whether I’m sincere or not doesn’t relate to how many times I say it. What’s important is...” He gently picked up Chu Xia’s hand and placed it on his chest. “How I feel. ”
Chu Xia raised her head and looked at Su Yang. She didn’t know when she fell in love with the man in front of her, but her eyes were getting more and more blurry.
Then, Su Yang looked at Chu Xia and kissed her gently.
When their lips touched, both of them were intoxicated by the kiss, the softness, and the sweetness.
After some time, their lips parted and Chu Xia’s face turned a beautiful shade of pink. She buried her head in Su Yang’s embrace, looking blissful.
Then, Su Yang hugged Chu Xia tightly.
On the other hand, in the virtual space...
In the courtyard of the castle stood a virtual screen that was at least 300 inches large.
All the little monsters carried a small stool and sat in the yard. They looked up at the screen with their mouths wide open. “Wow ~”
The screen showed Su Yang and Chu Xia kissing.
Thus, all the little monsters were smiling happily.
Even the sullen ginseng like Sanque, whose expression hadn’t changed even after ten thousand years, couldn’t help but curl up its beard as if to express his master’s feelings.
Needless to say, Dagger Girl, Little Deeny, Gru, and the other emotional little monsters all had smiles on their faces, but they were crying, obviously moved.
Pool was probably the most clear-headed among them. He had a smile on his face like an uncle, and he did not forget to fiddle with a small golden abacus.
After a while, he figured it out. Then, he stood up and said, “Alright, alright. Everything is settled. We have to give Sir Su Yang and Miss Chu Xia some private space. It’s time... To calculate the stakes.”
When he said that, the other monsters did not react, but Little Hus darted into the castle with a whoosh and disappeared.
After a while, the rest of the little monsters that had bet that Su Yang would not end up together with Chu Xia also escaped.
Pool looked at their backs with confusion before turning to ask Little Deeny, “Why are they running?”
Little Deeny turned around, looking like a pear blossom in the rain. She wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes and said, “I don’t know. Didn’t we pay for our bets earlier already?”
Pool nodded and seemed confused. “That’s right... They’re so weird.”
After that, Pool said to Little Deeny, “Right then, I’ll pay you first then.”
Little Deeny waved his hand and wiped his tears. “It’s okay. There’s no hurry. Miss Chu Xia and Master are just together now. We still have to see if they can make it to the end.
“After all... Who says you won’t break up even when you’re together?”
Pool was speechless.
‘Little Deeny, you’ve got some very dangerous thoughts there.’
Su Yang, who was in the villa, did not know that his confession with Chu Xia had been witnessed by the little monsters. After kissing Chu Xia, he spent some time with her before letting go of the girl and asked, “You haven’t had dinner, have you?”
Chu Xia had already eaten, but she was a considerate girl. Hence, she nodded her head in agreement. “Yes, I haven’t eaten yet.”
Hence, Su Yang patted her head lightly and said, “Wait for me. I’ll cook for you.”
Su Yang wanted to go to the kitchen.
However, he had only taken two steps when he felt someone grab his shirt.
He turned around and saw Chu Xia shyly say, “No... I’ll go with you. I don’t want to be separated from you.”
Su Yang smiled warmly. “Alright then.”
Thus, the two of them went to the kitchen together. Su Yang showed Chu Xia what it meant to cook in the new era... Write a few words and place it in the pot to complete the procedure.
Hence, Chu Xia was dumbfounded.
Her mouth was so wide open that Su Yang wanted to...
Reach his hand inside.
“Hey, why are you stunned?”
Chu Xia came back to her senses and asked curiously, “Can this be eaten? It doesn’t conform to the law of conservation of mass energy.”
Su Yang smiled. “How can superpowers be compared with modern physics?”
“But... But...” Chu Xia wanted to refute, but she did not know how to refute Su Yang.
‘He’s right.
‘I’ve already seen so many amazing things about Su Yang and all of them have gone against the laws of physics in the modern world. So... It seems to make sense that superpowers aren’t restricted by physics...’
When Su Yang saw that Chu Xia was in a daze, he gently held her hand. As he led her to the dining room, he explained, “Actually, I think this is very easy to understand.
“I’ve been researching it recently and have discovered that my superpower comes from an unknown substance or energy. I’ve defined it as spiritual energy.”
In the virtual space, Spirit Building hunched over, pouted, rolled her eyes, spat and said weakly, “Shame... Less.”
On the other hand, Su Yang said, “You can imagine that the world we know is based on our observations.”
“We have evolved and gained eyes, so we can see light and objects within a certain range.
“We have also gained ears, so we can hear voices within a certain range.
“We have also gained a nose, so we can smell things within a certain range.”
“Before modern science was born, our ancestors used the most primitive organs to observe the world and believed that the world was as such.”
“What about after that?”
“After that, we were introduced to modern science and have had all kinds of equipment. We could see light outside the spectrum, hear things that could not be heard, smell things that could not be smelled. In essence, we’ve discovered things that humans would not be able to sense with our own bodies.
“However, science is endless. No matter how much we observe, there must be something that we haven’t observed.”
“And spiritual energy is one of them.”
Chu Xia listened in a daze and nodded slightly.
Su Yang continued, “In my opinion, compared to ordinary humans, I might have accidentally evolved an organ that can sense spiritual energy.
“Then, I’ve learned to use it, so it’s nothing to be surprised of.
“So, me using my spiritual energy and superpowers is as simple as you picking up a fish with your hands.’
At this point, Su Yang said in a rare serious tone, “It’s precisely because of this that I’m filled with respect for the mysteries of this world.
“Just like how normal people cannot see or feel spiritual energy, then is it possible that this world also has matter and energy that I still cannot sense?
“Perhaps this world is actually a strange and mysterious world where there are many scary creatures that we cannot see or feel such as fish that could swim in the air and coexist with us.
“It’s because we don’t have organs to sense their presence, so we can’t find them.
“What is the nature of the world actually? What’s actually real?
“We might never know. So, the only thing we can do is keep exploring.”
“So... Maybe one day, the human world will change, making spiritual energy and superpowers no longer extraordinary.”
After that was said, Chu Xia shivered and whispered, “Su Yang, you’re giving me goosebumps. It’s so scary. Why don’t you stop...”
Su Yang also felt that he had ruined the rare romantic atmosphere between the two of them. Hence, he quickly smiled and said, “You’re right, it’s all my fault. I’ve said too much.”
With that, he waved at the kitchen and asked loudly, “Is the food ready?”
“Dou!”
Su Yang said, “Serve the dishes then.”
“Dou, dou!”
When they heard Su Yang’s words, a few Little Monster Beans carried their food and shouted “Dou, Dou” noises as they walked to the dining table.
On the other hand, Chu Xia was looking at the Little Monster Beans happily. Although she had seen them a few times, she liked these diligent and kind little folks every time she saw them.
She felt that these little monsters were the most fun to play with. On top of that, she felt that they were much more useful than... Little Softie.
After dinner was served, Su Yang waved his chopsticks at Chu Xia. “Come, let’s eat.”
“Oh, okay.” Actually, Chu Xia had actually had dinner with her best friend and her boyfriend already. However, since Su Yang had invited her, she couldn’t refuse, so she picked up her chopsticks and started eating.
After eating a few mouthfuls, Chu Xia, who had a small stomach, felt full again.
Then, She glanced at Su Yang who was still wolfing down his food.
Since she was too embarrassed to put her chopsticks down, she could only take small bites of her food while trying to drag the conversation out. “Oh, right, Su Yang. What are we going to do after dinner?”
Su Yang picked up a mouthful of blood and said nonchalantly, “After we finish? Are you in a hurry to leave?”
Chu Xia thought about it. ‘My curfew is at 10pm, so it’s still early.
‘Besides, even if I’m late, Su Yang could just send me back to my home with a “Poof”.
‘So there’s no hurry.’
At that though, she shook her head. “Nope.”
Su Yang took a bite of his food. “Oh, if you’re not in a hurry, then come to my room after dinner and we’ll play until you leave.”
Chu Xia started, flustered. “Go to your room and play... Play... Until I leave?”
