‘Frankly, from the bottom of my heart, I don’t really want to use [Reverse Reincarnation] on the Little Monster Beans. This circus feels a little strange.
‘It looks very evil and bloody.
‘Moreover, whatever it is, this Little Monster Bean that survived the battle royale between its kind is either murderous or perverted.
‘It can’t be mentally sane.
‘Something feels off about making it a permanent actor.’
‘Still... I should have a good think about this. This is the rules of the circus, anyone who emerges victorious from the battle is either a human or Little Monster Bean with blood all over their hands.
‘I’ve already refused to make the decision the last time, if I don’t do it now, will I be able to do it the next time?
‘If I really refuse to choose any murderous human (bean), then it’s highly likely that I will never choose [Reverse Reincarnation] regardless of how many times I go through this in the future.
‘In that case, what’s the point of the existence of the [Burning Reincarnation Circus]?’
After much consideration, Su Yang felt that he should give it a try.
‘Perhaps after trying it out, I might find that the permanent actors aren’t as evil as I think they are?’
Su Yang clicked on [Reverse Reincarnation].
Suddenly, a notification popped up in front of him.
[Reverse Reincarnation, You may use Reverse Reincarnation on the winner of the performance. They will then become a permanent actor in the circus and will never suffer the pain of reincarnation again.]
Su Yang looked at the notebook. The second page of the notebook opened silently. There was a drawing on it. It was a Little Monster Bean holding a whip. The Little Monster Bean’s eyes were filled with ruthlessness. Its body and whip were stained with blood and looked extremely fierce.
On closer inspection, one would notice that its body was slightly fatter than a normal Little Monster Bean.
Su Yang guessed, ‘could this be... the result of its victory? After all, it’s almost impossible to determine the winner between this one and the other Little Monster Bean in 2nd place. Perhaps it was just that little extra weight that led it to its victory.’
He looked at the two options below the illustration, [Confirm] and [Give up].
Su Yang hesitated for a moment before finally clicking on [Confirm].
Another notification popped up before him.
[To make an actor turn permanent, you will need to pay 200 kilograms of raw meat. Are you sure you would like to pay?]
‘200 pounds of raw meat?
‘This isn’t a lot, but... I haven’t got any with me!
‘After all, no one would have the habit of carrying 200 kilograms of raw meat with them at all times.’
Just as Su Yang was thinking about this, another notification popped up in front of him. [You are allowed to pay your debts from the Burning Reincarnation Circus within the next 24 hours]
‘I see, so I’m allowed to pay my debts within 24 hours. That would eliminate the problem then.
‘200 kilograms of meat would be... 7,000 yuan. Easy peasy...
‘I’m no longer the poor guy who would have to even scam 21 yuan...’
Su Yang clicked [Confirm] once more.
But that was not the end.
It was as if the circus did not want Su Yang to use [Reverse Reincarnation] when a third notification popped up.
[Reverse Reincarnation is non-reversible. After confirming, all entities of this person within the parallel universe of the circus will disappear, leaving only 1 entity behind.]
‘Parallel universe?
‘All entities of this person?’
Su Yang suddenly understood what was going on with Zhao Xiao, the viper, and the Little Monster Beans.
‘All entities refers to the same person from a different time and space.
‘Based on this hint, it would mean that the [Burning Reincarnation Circus] doesn’t consist of a single universe. Rather, there are endless reincarnations inside many smaller parallel universes.
‘Each parallel universe consists of a different Zhao Xiao, a different monkey, and different Little Monster Beans.
‘Then, whenever I want to watch a performance, the entities from these parallel universes would be brought to the stage and the battle royale would then begin.
‘After the battle, they would be “imprisoned” again.
‘How is this a [Burning Reincarnation Circus]? This is more like a [Burning Reincarnation Prison]!
‘These people whom I have killed can only stay here and endure the endless reincarnations.
‘Although I have no idea how the smaller parallel universes operate or what’s within it, I’m sure that as I continue to add points into the circus, my understanding of it would gradually increase. This would include my control of it.’
Su Yang clicked [Confirm] again.
Finally, no more notifications popped out after the previous 3 came out consecutively.
An emotionless voice echoed in his mind, “Reverse Reincarnation”.
Accompanied by this emotionless voice, the Little Monster Bean that held the whip suddenly raised its head and gave Su Yang a smile. That smile was obviously very bright, but when combined with the blood all over its body and the murderous aura it emitted, it looked rather intimidating...
Su Yang had goosebumps.
The second page of the notebook spontaneously combusted and turned into ashes.
Moments later, the Little Monster Bean appeared on stage again but something seems different. Normally, Little Monster Beans are yellow, but this one was gray. It was obvious that something was wrong with it.
The only merit was that it did not look that bloodthirsty anymore.
Su Yang looked at it on the stage. He wanted to confirm its attitude towards him so he said, “Turn around.”
The gray Little Monster Bean immediately stood upright with its feet close together as it saluted Su Yang. Then, it turned around.
Su Yang looked at it and felt, ‘it seems... alright?
‘But what abilities does a permanent actor have?’
Su Yang picked up his notebook and flipped through the list of actors. The first name on the list had become the gray Little Monster Bean.
There was also a red seal underneath, “Permanent actor”.
Su Yang took a look at its name. It was Little Monster Bean No. 34.
‘No. 34? This seems like the number that I came up with in the past.’
Su Yang clicked on its portrait.
A notification popped up in front of him.
[The permanent actors will no longer have to endure the pain of reincarnation. The same entities in other parallel universes will be erased.]
Note: Please add some additional points to the circus to unlock the other functions that are commonly used by actors.
‘What?
‘More points?
‘This [Burning Reincarnation Circus]’s abilities are truly different from other items.
‘Apart from the Silver ability [Hands Of Fate] which stated that it could be upgraded, neither of the other items nor abilities had hints of it being able to be upgraded.
‘Even [Hands of Fate]’s hint was vague.
‘It’s only [Burning Reincarnation Circus] that’s obviously tempting me. It’s as though it’s saying, “Hurry up and upgrade me Master, I’ll unlock a lot of new functions as you upgrade me”.
‘However, I’m going to take the bait. I’m going to upgrade the circus before the next full moon. I want to see what kind of changes would happen to the circus and what new functions would I unlock... No! New abilities!’
After burning Wang Shan’s fate and making No. 34 a permanent actor, Su Yang did not find anything else worthwhile anymore.
He stood up and left his seat which marked the end of his trip to the circus.
When he stood up, his vision blurred. By the time he returned to his senses, he was already at the entrance of the circus.
As the curtains in the circus opened, Su Yang turned back to take a look. No. 34 was still standing on the stage, looking at him. It bowed as though it was waiting for his return.
Su Yang nodded at it and walked out of the circus’s universe.
After exiting the circus’s universe, Su Yang heard a notification. [Please submit 200 kilograms of raw meat within 24 hours. Once the time limit expires, the raw meat will be stripped from your body].
Accompanied by this reminder, the two-story tall leopard slowly closed its mouth like it was swallowing everything.
Immediately after that, the shadow of the leopard became smaller and smaller before it returned to its golden leopard form.
However, this state did not last long. In just a moment, the golden leopard’s fur seemed to have faded. It slowly turned from golden to black, transforming from a gold leopard into a black leopard.
Then the black panther’s body slowly shrunk until it became a small black kitten.
Jin Jin, who had become a black kitten, slowly woke up.
It looked at its body and then at Su Yang, who was looking down at it. It raised its head and meowed at Su Yang. Then, it ran off with its four short legs.
When she was escaping, her heart-shaped butt was twisting and turning, so much that Su Yang really wanted to hit her a few times...
Su Yang ignored the little cat who was trying to escape. He called Janet over and asked her to buy 200 pounds of raw meat.
On the other hand, he had a meal before heading to the office to take a stroll.
‘School’s about to reopen for the new semester, that means all the girls including new ones will be arriving soon.
‘When school reopens, I won’t have time to go to the company anymore, so I might as well take this opportunity to visit more and increase the employees’ enthusiasm while I’m at it.
‘After all, when school starts, the plans for the development of my commercial business will commence.
‘I’m going to let it expand its business across the country on its own.
Jiadian Technology’s FindMe app has been burning money most of the time. Furthermore, movies and stocks were more of a one-time deal, so no one knows when the next one would come. Hence, my cash flow’s very tight at the moment.
‘I need to develop some more businesses since such developments would be able to improve my cash flow.
‘However, I need money to develop it.
‘If I borrowed 50 million yuan from the bank, I would at least give 20 million yuan to start some businesses and get it to expand across the country so that university students can work there part time.
‘So I’ve managed to figure out how to spend the money. However, the main problem now is, how do I get the money...’
At that thought, Su Yang called Wang Dong to his office and asked him if there were any bank funds in the company that he could borrow money from within the shortest period.
Wang Dong hesitated for a moment and said, “There is 1, Mr. Su. Our company has always been in contact with a manager from the credit department. However... this person isn’t very honest. He’s always vain and blindly promises some things but doesn’t honour them. So... I’m not so sure if...”
Before he could finish his sentence, Su Yang interrupted him in gleefully. “That’s great! Just the kind of person I like! Let’s go with him!”
Wang Dong looked at Su Yang with a dumbstruck expression. ‘Have I said something wrong? Should I have gone with “unrealistic”, “empty-headed”, and “making blind promises”?
‘Why does it feel like Mr. Su thinks that I was referring to him as an honest person?’
At that moment, Su Yang was in a good mood! He was worried that he would not be able to get the 50 million yuan that he needed for the Silver mission. However, he did not expect for someone who was compatible with his Silver mission knocking on his door.
‘How wonderful, a juicy piece of meat has shown up right in front of me for the taking.
‘Silver point! No problem! Bank manager, here I come!
