Chapter 856 - A State Of Chaos
Even though Mr. Ma had regained his composure, he no longer treated Su Yang as a junior. Instead, he saw Su Yang as an alligator in the business world.
After the meal, the three of them chatted for a while longer before Su Yang politely bade them goodbye and left the private club with Pan Zhaodi.
Mr. Ma and Zhang Zhidong sent Su Yang to the door. This represented the change in their attitude. Although Mr. Ma valued Su Yang, he did not come out to welcome him initially. Now, he was personally sending him out.
Looking at the Mercedes driving away, Zhang Zidong adjusted the glasses on his nose and asked, “Do you really believe that he can take down Nindentou?”
Mr. Ma said with a serious look, “He’s a smart person, plus we don’t have any ill intentions towards him. If he lies to us, it would only end up being his loss. Therefore, I think he at least believes that he can do it.”
Zhang Zidong said, “What if he’s lying to us on purpose?”
Mr. Ma smiled. “Then we have to pay more attention to him. That means he’s a natural-born capitalist.”
Zhang Zidong was stunned. He did not know if Mr. Ma was praising Su Yang or mocking him.
After a while, he still could not figure this out and asked another question. “Is Nindentou really that important?”
This time, Mr. Ma first shook his head and then nodded. “It is important, but it isn’t important as well. Obtaining this company would indeed make up for our entertainment empire’s losses. However, even if we don’t get our hands on them, it wouldn’t affect us too much either.”
Zhang Zidong did not understand. “Then, why do you value it so much?”
Mr. Ma looked at him with a faint smile. “Because if we obtain it, the benefits we will receive would indeed be very great.”
Zhang Zidong felt like Mr. Ma’s words were contradictory, and he kept repeating himself like he was hinting at something, but Zhang Zidong could not understand it.
Mr. Ma did not explain. He looked at the distant car lights and silently said in his heart... ‘The reason why I value this company isn’t just because of the company, but the meaning behind it...
‘Japan is a country that’s so repulsive to the outside market.
‘To be able to snatch such a huge piece of the cake, and only distributing it to me after that...
‘What are you actually trying to do, Mr. Su?
‘If he actually does succeed...
‘Then... As long as I get on board his ship... I may receive far more in the future than any investment I’ve ever made.
‘Nindentou... This is just to be just a sign in the first place.’
After finishing his thoughts, Mr. Ma instructed, “Oh right, when you go back, remember to remind me to get someone to calculate our current resources. Whether it’s the companies that are investing internally or abroad, equity, land, or software. All in all, just list whatever that’s valuable.
“When the time comes, we can let Mr. Su choose and decide which of those would he be interested in.”
Then, Mr. Ma added softly, “Actually, what I wish for the most is for him to be interested in Tencent.”
Zhang Zhidong looked at him in surprise and was even more confused. “Isn’t Tencent the core of our profits? Won’t his interest in Tencent affect us?”
Mr. Ma smiled again and did not say anything else.
Zhang Zhidong was a programmer who was only good at writing codes, so he was not good at certain things. ‘When you value a person, don’t be afraid of his ambition. Make him ambitious and let him get involved in your core business instead.
‘Only then can you really get on his ship, only then can you make yourself truly follow in his footsteps...
‘That’s the essence of utilizing someone’s strengths for my own benefit...
‘If a person wants to develop quickly, they shouldn’t go against the times, but flow with it instead...
‘This is my life experience that I’ve learned from Tencent.’
Over the next few days, more and more media outlets in China and Japan were reporting about the collaboration between Jiadian Group and Yagawa Masaru.
In 16 years, when China-Japanese camaraderie was the main theme, such cooperation was also an achievement for the local community.
Su Yang did not object to the local media’s promotion of him. He even instructed the Clown Sea Serpent, who was already in Japan, to bribe some media outlets to publicize this matter.
Furthermore, he specifically reminded him that during the promotion, he even had to specifically mention that Jiadian Group had come to Japan under Yagawa Masaru’s invitation, which represented the friendship between China and Japan.
Actually, Su Yang felt disgusted when he saw those words. However, he had no choice if he wanted to bring Yagawa Masaru down thoroughly...
At the same time, Yagawa Masaru received the news.
Under the cherry blossom tree, Yagawa Masaru was still drinking tea with the old man.
“Yagawa-kun, there seems to be someone who has been promoting our relationship with Jiadian Group recently. They say that we are as close as family, and are even coming to Japan because of our invitation.
“I’m afraid...”
Yagawa Masaru smiled in disdain. “It’s just a small trick.”
He replied, “It’s either our enemies or Su Yang himself who spreaded the news.
“But, who among our real friends doesn’t know of our plans though? This will not affect us.”
The old man was a little worried as he said, “But, I’m afraid that when we take action against Jiadian Group, it will cause a backlash from China.”
Yagawa Masaru smiled. “We won’t do anything to Jiadian Group except for helping them, and we’re going to be helping them as good friends as well. So, why would China interfere?”
The old man asked, “What if our plan succeeds but Su Yang is short of money and China lends him the money?”
Yagawa Masaru smiled confidently once again. “China could lend him money, but what could they lend him? Yuan? He’s going to be facing a difficult situation in Japan, where yuan wouldn’t be useful here.”
“What if he directly uses US dollars or yen to save himself?”
“If China is already involved, why can’t our country do the same? We can just cut off their funding channels.
“Unless Su Yang is willing to give up all his investments in Japan and return home empty-handed. Then, he has no choice but to spend our money.
“Furthermore, even if he’s willing to give up his dignity and pay a huge sum of money to leave Japan and return home with nothing, he can’t bring all the companies, research bases, research materials, and factories that he has in Japan with him.
“These things would legally be ours by then, and we will also obtain some crucial information about his technology.
“Which would be sufficient already.
“With this information, we should be able to understand the details of his new technology. Perhaps, we could even develop it directly.”
The old man’s mouth slowly widened. ‘I didn’t expect Yagawa-kun to have planned everything so thoroughly.
‘He’s even planned the outcome of both countries.
‘It’s as if he’s planning 20 steps ahead!
‘As expected of the wealthiest man in Japan!
‘Yagawa-kun has been in the business world for decades. Many companies and figures who are richer and more powerful than him have left Japan long ago. However, he’s the only one that remained standing.
‘This is his ability!’
At that thought, the old man was no longer worried about his scheme against Su Yang.
He felt that if Su Yang could escape or turn the tables under such a detailed plan, Su Yang would literally be... A God!
When Yagawa Masaru saw that the old man understood, he raised his cup and took a sip of tea. Then, he instructed, “Since someone is spreading this news, let’s add fuel to the fire for them. Let’s cooperate with the publicity.
“This way, if something happens in the future, no one will suspect us.
“After all... We are good friends! Hahaha!”
At the same time, Su Yang was also making his preparations.
“Are you sure there are no more loopholes after [Eye Of Origins] has been modified?”
“I’m sure. We’ve done all the experiments that could be done. Whenever someone thinks of you when they talk, your [Descent] mechanism will be triggered.”
“Have the arrangements for Japan, England, America, and the others been completed?”
“Yes.”
“Have you contacted Carson?”
“There was a tentative contact. The other party was very interested, but we did not reveal more information.”
“What about Soros?”
“Done. The other party is very interested in this plan. However, how did Wei Lin connect with the other party?”
“It’s probably because of the attention we received from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange incident. Has all our money gone out?”
“They’re all out and scattered in three different areas.”
“Has the Clown Sea Serpent contacted the big shot in Japan?”
“Yes. We’ve gotten close to their prime minister’s chief of staff and are ready to lobby for relevant monetary policy.”
“What about the governor of Hawaii?”
“When we revealed the president’s win rate in advance, they have already placed their bets and agreed to lobby Congress to let the United States Agency implement the policies we want.”
“What about Central Asia?”
“With the Clown Sea Serpent around, we’ll be able to handle it if we do a little something about it.”
“Have the two domestic automobile companies reached an agreement?”
“Yes.”
After confirming everything, Su Yang looked at the clear sky and felt that everything was ready.
‘Perhaps it’s time for the curtains to be drawn on this great show of Japan’s economy being destroyed...
‘The world is going to be in turmoil, and it’s up to each individual’s strategy to decide who’s going to stand at the top of the Himalayas in the end!
‘However, I believe that...
‘It’s definitely going to be me...
‘After all, in the art of war, the key to victory is to know both yourself, and the enemy.
‘I already know each and every step my opponent is going to make. On top of that, there is a possibility that I would be able to clearly know how they’re going to adjust their plans later on. So, how could I possibly fail?’
February passed in the blink of an eye, and March soon arrived. During the honeymoon period, the country placed great importance on Su Yang and Yagawa Masaru’s friendly relationship and the development of their trip to Japan.
Therefore, under Shanghai’s, the country had established a business investment group. Then, under Shanghai’s name, they would go for an inspection, where Su Yang was the deputy head, and the regiment commander was a big shot in Shanghai.
In fact, this was a representation of the government’s attitude: Su Yang was representing the country in investing, which gave Su Yang a certain diplomatic status, credibility, and protection.
However, they did not know that Su Yang was facing an ambitious Japanese capitalist.
The other party did not care if you were representing the country or not. In the face of Su Yang’s technology, they were already prepared to take the risk.
After arriving in Japan, Su Yang received a high-class reception due to the country. It was also the first time that Su Yang met Yagawa Masaru at the banquet.
He was an old man who looked like he was about to die. Even though he was only in his 70s, he looked like he already had one foot in the coffin.
Even though the old saying went, “Humans would rarely live up to their 70s. However, in modern times, living up to 70 years old was not considered rare at all, especially when the rich enjoyed medical care and nutrition that normal people could not come into contact with. In fact, it was even normal for them to live to 100 years old.
From the looks of it, Su Yang also believed what Little Deeny had investigated. The next few generations of the Masaharus did not make much progress. Now, the huge family still had to rely on this 70 year old man.
‘Well then, I must say that his children and grandchildren are rather unworthy, ending up having this old man work harder for them.’
At that thought, Su Yang looked at Yagawa Masaru with “sympathy”.
This confused Yagawa Masaru, who was seeing Su Yang for the first time.
‘What’s with that look?
‘Is that sympathy?
‘Why would he take pity on me?’
Sure enough, when Yagawa Masaru first met Su Yang, he had the exact same reaction as everyone else... Stunned.
‘He’s such a “young man”. He seems to only be in his teens, yet he’s got such a legendary experience, and wealth that’s just shocking.’
Looking at Su Yang and then at himself, Yagawa Masaru could not help but feel dejected. ‘I really am old now.
‘This is the era of the youngsters...’
Even though the two of them had different thoughts, they were still very intimate in public. They chatted with smiles on their faces, causing the other tycoons and big shots to nod their heads. They felt that Su Yang and Yagawa Masaru were really close.
However, only these two foxes knew that this was actually their first meeting.
‘We both have godlike acting skills.
‘Hmm... Speaking of godlike acting skills...
‘Although I haven’t won it yet, but as the male lead of “Wandering Planet”, there are already many rumors that the media outlets and awards organizers in the country might just award me with the Best Actor Award.
‘However, all of that means nothing to me. After all, I’m only trying to ride on the movie’s popularity.
‘Although I know that I’ve got pretty decent acting skills, I know very well that I’m far from deserving of the Best Actor Award. Furthermore, “Wandering Planet” is a sci-fi movie, so even if I’m the male lead, it wouldn’t be of much use. If I want to win the award, the only possibility would be that America’s missiles are used by the enemy to blow up my own fighter jets...’
Even though the two foxes were acting, Su Yang still had to hand over the resources he promised. Therefore, with Yagawa Masaru’s recommendation, Su Yang got to know some important figures in Japan that night. Among them were Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyoda, and Honda’s presidents.
After the banquet ended, some details of the banquet were announced through the media. With the help of people with ulterior motives, the headlines of the major media outlets and newspapers in Japan were all about Su Yang and Yagawa Masaru’s intimate conversation.
Japan’s various industries were indifferent to this matter. On the one hand, they felt that it’s fine to be friendly since it has nothing to do with them. On the other hand, they also felt that Yagawa Masaru wasn’t someone who would have close ties with China, so there might be something fishy going on.
Compared to Japan, China was in a state of chaos...
