Janet opened her mouth wide.
What a bloodbath! It was a real “bloody” mouth, covered in blood from the fish bones. No wonder it was flowing out from the corner of his mouth.
Su Yang covered his face. This was too gory.
Besides, won’t eating raw fish give you diarrhea?
Thinking about Janet’s identity, Su Yang felt that it probably...
The meal was frightening. Although Su Yang was trying to dissuade him, Janet was still eating raw fish without a care for anyone else while blood trickled out of his mouth...
‘Eating a bloody meal...
‘This fit his shark identity.’
After finishing the meal, Su Yang thought, ‘It’s only after eight o’clock, and the mall is still open. Why don’t you bring Janet to buy some clothes? A man this beautiful pretending to be a woman was just too zombie-ish.’
Janet didn’t object, so Su Yang let him wipe his mouth and walked out with him.
The two of them didn’t want to go too far away so they went to the mall near the neighborhood and chose some ordinary clothes that guys often wear like t-shirts, shorts, and slippers.
In summer, this was the standard outfit for boys.
Su Yang and Janet changed into their clothes in their respective dressing rooms. Su Yang came out first, looked in the dressing mirror and felt... He felt handsome again.
After a while, Janet’s dressing room opened and Janet came out, Su Yang looked over and noticed... He’s even more beautiful!
‘Why do women always have a different kind of beauty in men’s clothes?
‘Why was Janet more feminine when ‘she’ wore men’s clothes!
‘Well, at worst, I’ll shave his head. Then he probably won’t look so femine... or will he?’
On the way home, Su Yang and Janet made many heads turn, probably because Su Yang was followed by a beautiful “foreign woman”.
After walking for a while, Janet whispered to Su Yang, “My lord, why are they all looking at us? Are they planning to do something to you, my lord? Do I need to take them out before they can do anything?”
Saying that, Janet bared ‘her’ teeth, revealing a mouth full of shark teeth and a bleeding mouth...
Su Yang replied, “It’s fine.”
However, he whispered in his heart. ‘Them... looking at me? They’re obviously looking at you, okay?’
I just hope that those who were having those kinds of thoughts of Janet could withstand a few hits from Janet.
It wasn’t for no reason that Su Yang thought so. After dinner, Su Yang and Janet arm-wrestled, and he found that Janet’s strength was exceptional. Su Yang’s was like a child before her.
If it wasn’t for Sanque’s lack of interest, Su Yang would have wanted these two to try fighting against each other to see who would win in the end.
Su Yang felt that Janet would most probably win. A person with the strength of a shark and [Unlimited Fighting Ability]. It was like a personal killing weapon that Sanque may not be able to defeat despite having eight hands!
Of course, there were definitely people in this world who could beat Janet, but... Even if someone who could beat Janet plotted against him, he might find out that Janet was capable of pulling out a bigger weapon than him...
‘Yeah. It’ll be amazing...’
In the midst of his musings, the phone rang, and Little Deeny said into Su Yang’s ear, “Master, it’s a call from Tang Dafa.”
‘Another call from the big gold master?’
Su Yang picked up with a smiling face. “Brother Tang, what’s up?”
By now, Tang Dafa, who has called him countless times, had learnt his lesson. He did not specify the matter but instead, directly invited Su Yang. “Brother Su, do you have time tomorrow? You and me, out to dinner?”
Su Yang couldn’t refuse a meeting with a gold boss especially since he refused him several times before. Refusing again would seem a little ungrateful so he replied, “Okay. What time? Where do we meet?”
Tang Dafa said, “Tomorrow night at six. I’ll pick you up. You just have to send me your address.”
“No problem.”
After hanging up the phone, Su Yang sent his school’s location to Tang Dafa.
After sending the location, Su Yang was just about to turn off his phone when Little Deeny’s voice sounded in Su Yang’s ear, “Master, don’t you feel that something wasn’t quite right with Tang Dafa?”
Su Yang was stunned. “What’s wrong?”
Deeny explained. “He’s been calling you too often this week, trying to ask you out on five or six dates. This is far more frequent that most people would contact you for an appointment.”
Su Yang hesitated. “Maybe it’s because he wants my help?”
Deeny disagreed. “If he’s contacting you because he wants your help, then he shouldn’t contact you so often! It’ll bore you to death.”
Su Yang pondered for a bit and felt that Deeny had a point.
Deeny concluded her argument. “Master, you were preoccupied because you used the hourglass and read his memories, so you didn’t see anything wrong with him. However, I’ve been studying social interpersonal relations recently, so I found out that he’s not acting normally rather easily.”
Su Yang nodded thoughtfully.
The hourglass could see people’s memories and thoughts. It was like God’s eye view, allowing Su Yang to know a lot of things that he “shouldn’t know”. However, it also made him think that “Tang Dafa will kneel before me,” leading him to ignore some of Tang Dafa’s subsequent abnormalities.
Su Yang slowly pondered about Tang Dafa’s recent appointment with him. Buying a car, a house, a watch, luxury goods, trampolining, and going to a club.... It all seemed like they were related to spending and drinking..
Did Tang Dafa want to make him a degenerate? Or did he want to find his weakness to blackmail him?
Su Yang felt that he had to go to this dinner tomorrow night and use the hourglass to check Tang Dafa’s thoughts once again. He had to know what plans this guy had in mind.
Back at home, Su Yang asked Deeny to arrange a room for Janet, then went to shower and went to bed.
Lying in bed unable to sleep, Su Yang called out the interface, intending to check out his circle of friends.
Su Yang’s WeChat didn’t have many friends, and were all acquaintances. The first one was Qu Xiaomeng who sent him a screenshot of a chat circle of friends.
The other party that she was chatting with was named — [Mom].
At the top of the screenshot was a quote from Qu Xiaomeng — [Mom, I have to pay the rent, and I’m a little short of money. Can you lend me 8,000 yuan? I’ll pay you back when I get paid next week.]
The result was a [!] before a message was displayed. ‘The other person is no longer your friend, please send a friend request.’
Qu Xiaomeng was puzzled — [????]
Half an hour after the time on the screenshot, the other party approved Qu Xiaomeng’s friend request and directly transferred 8,000 yuan.
Qu Xiaomeng received the money, and sent another message — [Mom, I’ll be home for dinner next week.]
Another awkward exclamation mark was seen before a similar prompt came up. ‘The other person is no longer your friend, please send a friend request.’
Qu Xiaomeng returned a question mark and confused emoji.
With just one screenshot, Qu Xiaomeng’s followers bombarded her with comments.
Qu Xuan said — [Mom said, if you can’t find someone, don’t go home].
Chu Xia replied with a smirking face — [Teacher, you’re so pitiful.]
The most cruel and nonchalant reply was from Li Runze, he replied with one word — [Hm.]
Highly cool and upscale, he was domineering and exuded a style that undoubtedly made him the top student at Su Yang’s school!
Su Yang thought about it and also replied — [What a miserable single woman.]
After a moment, Qu Xiaomeng replied — [You still have the nerve to say that?! I’m deleting my friends starting with you!]
After a few more moments, Qu Xiaomeng replied — [Huh? Didn’t you block me last time? Have you removed me from the blacklist?]
Su Yang silently pulled Qu Xiaomeng name back into the ‘block’ contact column again. ‘This woman is too noisy. Let’s wait a while before unblocking her.’
After reading Qu Xiaomeng’s social media profile, Su Yang continued to swipe down to browse other things. Most of them were meaningless content, and all of them were like chicken soup for the soul made with selfies. The problem was that the selfies weren’t good enough...
Just as he was about to close the interface and sleep, he swiped to Xu Lu’s profile, someone who had been working part-time at the gift shop and saw a post — [Has anyone seen Wang Shan recently? Looking for her urgently. We’ve called her phone but it was turned off. We’ve also asked her classmates but they said she didn’t go to school.]
Su Yang looked at this post, thought about it, and privately chatted with Xu Lu — [Senior sister, is that Wang Shan your friend?]
Xu Lu replied — [That’s right. She’s a close friend of mine. I work part-time in the gift shop and dance part-time occasionally. I just met her at the event. I haven’t heard from her in the past few days. I called her, but her phone was turned off. I even asked her roommate and classmates, and they all said she went out a few days ago with something seemingly bothering her and never came back.]
Su Yang asked — [Nobody made a police report?]
Xu Lu replied — [She’s a university student who’s probably living at her boyfriend’s house. I’m sure no one would dare to simply call the police.]
‘Uh... Makes sense.’
Su Yang asked — [Which school is she from? Does she live near our school?]
Xu Lu replied — [She’s from East China University of Science and Technology and lives in the dormitory.]
‘East China University of Science and Technology... That’s not far from here.’
Su Yang continued — [Why don’t you send me a photo, and I’ll ask the people around me to see if anyone has seen her.]
Xu Lu was a person who was outwardly feminine but was quite a straightforward person. She sent the photo to Su Yang without hesitation.
The photo was of a rather innocent looking person, probably because she was studying dance so her body looked good, slim and slender.
Su Yang looked at that photo and mouthed. “Wang Shan.”
Then he took out the [Fruit-loving Pen] from the bedside table, and asked a little monster bean to fetch an apple for him.
Sitting on the bed, he took the pen and laid a piece of paper underneath it, imagined Wang Shan’s name and appearance, before slowly and carefully eating the apple.
After a short while... There was no response.
Su Yang put down the pen. It would seem that she was no longer near the school. She was probably out playing or was at her boyfriend’s house.
Originally. Su Yang saw the post and casually offered to help out. However, since his attempt to help out didn’t work, Su Yang forgot about it.
The next day on Monday, Su Yang got up early to eat and went to school.
At school, Su Yang went to the last row of the classroom, sat down, put his things down, took out his phone and began playing as usual.
Soon, Chu Xia came to his side.
This girl shamelessly sat next to him and asked, “Do you have any plans for the summer vacation?”
Su Yang looked at her. “I guess not. It’s just a trip home, and then I’ll head around to the company.”
Chu Xia asked again, “I guess not... In that case, do you want to go out?”
When he heard this, Su Yang felt like something was wrong. He looked at Chu Xia, pondering. “Hmm.” Then, he put down his phone and asked her, “Are you interested in me?”
Chu Xia was a little panicked, obviously not expecting Su Yang, who had always been more straightforward and ignorant, to ask such a question. However, her mental prowess had always been rather amazing, held steady. She breathed and adjusted her state of mind before purposefully saying, “Yeah. I’m interested in you.”
Looking at the obvious smirk Chu Xia had plastered on her face, Su Yang hesitated for a short while, and finally shrugged her off. “As if I would believe you.”
After saying that, he picked up his phone and continued playing, obviously not believing her.
Chu Xia breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the confrontation was over.
Just when she thought she had survived, Su Yang stared at her phone and suddenly asked, “By the way, have you recently read a novel called “Cherishing Chu Yao”?”
Chu Xia’s heart thudded. ‘It’s over.’
