Besides, it wasn’t going to be easy for me to touch him even if I wanted to. Not to mention Salabar and Yemen, who had always been close to him, but his own personal armaments seemed terrifying enough.
For a moment, Saddam found himself at an impasse...
In all the years he had been in charge of Menes, Saddam had never encountered such an uncontrollable situation. He felt a headache coming on.
Even during the Jasmine Revolution that had once swept through Central Asia, he had used that movement to overthrow the Menes government, and he did not even have such a headache when it came to maintaining order in the country.
After all, he was not facing a simple person, but a conglomerate with a complicated force behind him!
However, his chance at gaining immortality was right in front of him. How was he supposed to give up just like that?
This thought was even more unacceptable to Saddam.
‘What should I do then?!’
Because the matter could not be resolved, for the next few days, Saddam did not feel like eating or drinking. He kept thinking about the experiment where the old man’s hair turned from white to black.
During that time, he drank the rest of the oral fluid and experimented with it himself.
The result was outstanding. He felt like he had been rejuvenated over the past few days. His white hair and wrinkles had decreased greatly.
The feeling of regaining his youth from the inside increased his desire for this oral fluid.
For a moment, he thought of kidnapping Su Yang and dealing with the aftermath later!
Just as Saddam was about to take the risk, all the countries in the world suddenly noticed a large-scale explosion at Yemen..
The scale of the explosion looked like it had been attacked by an intercontinental missile, but the location of the explosion was in a remote desert in Yemen.
From the time of the explosion, various countries discovered that there seemed to be something outside the atmosphere shooting toward the location of the explosion at supersonic speed.
Through this information, the various countries could not help but suspect that this explosion was most likely caused by the experiment of a new weapon.
While the various countries were investigating this matter, that night, Yemen held a press conference targeted towards the other countries.
When the reporters from all over the world rushed to the press conference, everyone noticed that Su Yang, the chairman and president of Jiadian Group, was also present.
At the press conference, a spokesperson for Yemen and Su Yang announced a piece of news together. Jiadian Group had officially developed a satellite intercontinental weapon and completed the test today.
Using the rocket to launch the intercontinental missile into the sky and assemble it fully in the air. Finally, the missile was loaded and launched.
This sounded like something out of a fantasy, and it caused the venue to fall silent for a few seconds.
A few seconds later, there was an uproar.
Many reporters raised their hands to ask questions.
Su Yang answered all the questions and explained the use of this new weapon.
According to Su Yang, traditional intercontinental missiles had a limited range. Even the furthest missile could only hit 20,000 kilometers.
Even though this distance was enough to attack most parts of the world or cover the entire surface of the planet, it was easy to block. Furthermore, as the distance increased, the power would decrease.
However, the satellite intercontinental missile was completely different.
Because it was built in space, it could strike from above. Because of the acceleration of gravity, the power of the missile would not decrease. In fact, it also increased.
And because of the Earth’s rotation, as long as three satellites were set up, they could cover every corner of the world with real firepower 24/7.
When the press conference was about to end, Su Yang looked forward to the future and announced that the world would enter the space age! This would be a strategic position that was even more important than modern air control!
Furthermore, during the press conference, Su Yang mentioned that the weapon was not the cause of the war.
What really caused the war was human ambition.
In order to avoid using the weapons he produced as a sin, he decided not to sell them.
When this press conference ended, it caused a huge uproar around the world!
No one expected a new type of weapon to suddenly appear before them. Even though there was very little information about it, it did not stop people from making wild guesses.
Some people thought that the weapon was just a piece of trash. ‘That’s no different from a normal intercontinental missile. Furthermore, sending ammunition into the sky before firing it is just a waste of time!’
Some people believed that space launch would have many benefits, but the disadvantages were even greater. With one more step, the enemy would have more ways to intercept them. It might not be as effective as the intercontinental missile.
There were also people who advocated that this weapon would truly change the world. From then on, there would be no need for aircraft carriers, no need for naval authority, and no need for air control. Space would become the main area of competition between countries.
However, regardless, Jiadian Group became famous again.
Ever since the invention of Jiadian, the company had taken one step at a time into various fields. Almost all the fields they had walked through had been crushed by it, and they had undergone drastic changes.
In the end, he did not expect the weapons industry to be the same.
Compared to the average person’s sense of smell, the various countries had noticed the advancedness of this weapon, and they sent people to discuss and cooperate with Jiadian Group.
Meanwhile, Jiang Yan called Su Yang right after the press conference.
Su Yang understood what she meant despite her remaining silent after the call got connected.
The two of them had promised each other that once Su Yang had a breakthrough in weaponry, he would prioritize his own country.
After a moment of silence, Su Yang said, “This weapon cannot be mass-produced, but I will especially provide a set for the country to study.”
Jiang Yan said in a serious manner, “Thank you.”
Jiang Yan understood the importance of this matter and the chain reaction that Su Yang’s actions would cause.
At Su Yang’s level, it was not easy for him to remember his roots and sacrifice his own interests for it.
This choice, in particular, could very well make Su Yang the world’s enemy.
As a big country, China might not be affected too much. However, Su Yang was a tycoon, and his company might be restricted by the world.
Thinking of this, Jiang Yan said, “I will try my best to ask the relevant personnel to keep it a secret.”
Su Yang smiled. “Okay.”
Su Yang did not even say a word of thanks, but his meaning was clear.
‘Well, this isn’t something that can remain hidden. Not to mention the fact that the country has countless eyes watching us, this kind of weapon is considered to be a space weapon. Once researched, it’s going to be impossible for it to not be discovered.
‘Hence, Jiang Yan only meant it as a formality when she said she would keep it a secret.’
After hanging up the phone, Su Yang asked Zhao Licheng and Li Zijun to transfer all the calls from the various countries to the Clown Sea Serpent. Within the company, the Clown Sea Serpent was appointed by Su Yang to be the CEO of Jiadian Weapons and was fully in charge of weapons-related matters.
Su Yang believed that with the Clown Sea Serpent’s personality, he should be able to handle this situation with ease... As long as he did not make the matter seem too obvious.
Meanwhile, Saddam, the president of Menes, had also seen the press conference held by Jiadian Group in Yemen.
After all, the change in Yemen’s strength was also related to Menes’ safety.
However, after watching the press conference and obtaining the information about Jiadian Weapons from America, Saddam’s expression turned uglier.
Because he realized that he had no way of counteracting such a weapon.
‘There’s no way our country can intercept such a missile.
‘Based on the power of the missile, just one of them would be enough to destroy us.
‘This is a deterrence.
‘It’s a threat to everyone who’s spying on Su Yang.
‘Meaning... No matter what happens, it is best for everyone to be transparent. If someone does it from within the shadows and succeeded, they would be considered to be awesome. However, if they failed, they were going to have to come up with their own method of withstanding the full brunt of that weapon’s powers!’
This deterrence was obviously effective. Other countries aside, at least Saddam would not dare to make any moves against Su Yang anymore.
‘How am I supposed to obtain the oral fluids that could make me live forever without the option of being able to do things from within the shadows?
‘Argh! I’m going nuts!’
This was especially true after he already felt the changes in his body. He was even more desperate for this oral fluid!
In the next few days, Saddam became even more irritable.
Due to his current condition, his medical team had advised him to recuperate for a while, but Saddam knew that there was nothing wrong with his body. Everything was just psychological.
However, he accepted the medical team’s suggestion and took three days off to think about this.
Finally, on the third day, he figured everything out. He brought a gift and went to Yemen secretly to meet Su Yang.
This time, when he saw Su Yang, Saddam’s attitude was extremely humble. He knew that the person he was facing had something that could allow him to live forever and rule over Menes.
As long as he could befriend him and please him, he would be able to achieve everything!
‘This is immortality we’re talking about!
‘Immortality that would allow me to stand on top of the country forever!
‘What a fascinating dream!’
For someone as powerful as Saddam, that was something he would sacrifice almost everything for it.
In the face of Saddam’s flattery, Su Yang was much more cordial than he was on the phone. After entertaining Saddam for a while, before he left, Su Yang took out a bottle of oral fluid and passed it to Saddam for him to use.
There were not many bottles that time, and they were still only packed in 100ml bottles. If they were poured into a Cactus water bottle from the convenience store, it would only be filled up to one-fifth. However, Saddam treated it as a treasure.
Because this was a miracle medicine that could not be bought even with a million USD!
When he returned to his country, whenever he took a sip, he could feel his body becoming healthy and young.
To prevent it from being a psychological effect, he had the medical team inspect his body.
The result was as he had expected, and all the indicators were getting better and better. With just one bottle of oral fluid, he felt like he was three years younger. All the chronic problems in his body had been swept away, and even... Even his beer belly was much smaller. In terms of medical data, even his body fat had decreased.
His body was indeed getting healthier!
According to the professional doctor in Saddam, this was a miracle. ‘If I drink more, would I be able to return to being 20 years old?
‘This feeling is addictive.
‘Especially when I realize that my body is getting younger, and there’s even a chance for me to return to being youthful.’ Saddam could not help but feel hopeful.
After all, who wouldn’t want to return to the most glorious time of their lives?
At the time, Saddam was able to stay awake until daylight without sleeping!
And now, looking at his p*nis, Saddam really wanted to go back to that age!
So, for this purpose, after finishing the oral fluid, Saddam shamelessly asked Su Yang for more oral fluids.
However, this time, Su Yang started to turn cold.
In fact, when he personally brought a gift to visit Su Yang, Su Yang’s face still turned cold.
It was obvious that she was a little annoyed by his lack of appreciation.
Saddam had already forgotten how long it had been since he had begged someone so lowly. Moreover, the person he begged was someone who was younger than his son.
In the end, Su Yang gave him a bottle of oral fluid.
However, there was a condition that time, Saddam was to secretly send an elite team to open fire at the border of Israel.
Israel was the only country in the hearts of the Jews in Central Asia with the support of America. It was also the thorn in the flesh of the Islamic countries in the region.
Previously, with the support of America, Israel had used four wars to expand its territory and made itself and the countries in Central Asia nervous.
In the past few wars, as the pioneer of Central Asia, Menes was always the first to fight.
However, after the fourth war, for the sake of economic development, Menes gave up its position as the pioneer of Central Asia, put down his hatred, and joined America. In the end, he escaped from the abyss of suffering.
This was the opportunity for many years of development.
So, when he heard that Su Yang wanted to start a war, Saddam was shocked. He did not expect Su Yang’s conditions to be so harsh and terrifying!
Seeing the look on Saddam’s face, Su Yang smiled. It was rare for him to have such a pleasant expression on his face. He patted Saddam’s shoulder and said, “I’m not asking you to start a war. I’m just asking you to open fire to prove your sincerity.
“As long as you and I both don’t talk about it, who could possibly know that it was you who did it?”
Saddam’s face was dark and uncertain, clearly very hesitant.
On one hand was immortality, on the other, his position as the strongest in the country.
Both were things that he thought were hard to obtain.
Su Yang did not force him. Instead, he took out a bottle of oral fluid and stuffed it into Saddam’s hands. “Go back and think about it.
“Regardless of whether you do it or not, this is a token of my appreciation. If you give up, this will be a meeting gift. If you do it, then this will be your reward, and we will be family from now on.”
After that, Su Yang waved his hand and sent the guest off.
Back in Menes, Saddam held the two bottles of oral fluid in his hands, his expression unreadable.
He knew that Su Yang was right. If this matter was not exposed, there would not be any problems. Even if it was exposed, as long as it was handled properly, it would not affect him too much.
However, he also understood that this was a declaration of allegiance. From now on, even if he were to be on the same boat as Su Yang, unless he were to openly fall out with Su Yang, he would have to follow Su Yang in many things.
‘Is this... Worth it?’
Ever since he drank the oral fluid, Saddam had been eating well and sleeping soundly. However, he could not sleep that night.
He laid on his bed, tossing and turning. In front of him, like that night many years ago, two paths appeared...
Last time, he had made the right choice. This time, he hesitated before the crossroads...
