All people preferred their prey to be fresh, especially men.
Fresh prey was much more interesting than those that he had already toyed with.
Therefore, when the woman entered the bar, Kerry immediately noticed her.
‘She has a pair of emerald green eyes, long black hair and well-defined facial features. Other than her rather small chest, her body is exceptionally slender.
‘It’s fine enough that her appearance is exquisite, her aura alone is also enough to make my heart throb.
‘She has a cold, arrogant aura around her.
‘Her aura feels extremely similar to that woman, the woman whom I will probably never be able to reach in this life...’
Perhaps it was because Janet was too similar to the woman Kerry was referring to, but with just 1 look at him, Kerry had already come up with countless ways to toy with him. Each and every way that he could come up with made his blood flow faster and he could not help but want to put them into practice.
‘It’s decided! I’m going to make that woman mine tonight!’
With that thought in mind, he stood up without hesitation and walked up to her. He said in an authentic Hawaiian accent, “Hello, beautiful lady. May I know your name?”
The woman said nothing.
He asked again, “Can I buy you a drink?”
The woman remained silent.
Kerry was confused. Just as he was wondering if the woman before him was mute, the woman studied him carefully. She hooked her finger at him and walked out of the bar.
The way the woman hooked her fingers was actually a little stiff. Under normal circumstances, Kerry might have felt that something was off, but now that he was completely over his head, the woman’s actions alone was enough to make him follow her outside impatiently.
The moment they left the bar, Kerry thought to himself, ‘Is everything really going to go so smoothly today? This beauty hasn’t even had a drink yet, yet she’s planning to get right down to it?
‘But... it’s no fun if you’re not drunk.’
Just as Kerry’s mind was wandering, the woman led him into a quiet alley beside the bar.
As soon as they entered the alley, Kerry, who had been through all kinds of hellish situations, had a bad feeling.
Furthermore, being away from the noisy environment and the hustle and bustle, he slowly came back to his senses and started to be cautious. ‘There’s something wrong with this woman. Could she be from a rival gang? Was she sent here to be a honey trap?’
Just as he was thinking that, he looked up and saw an Asian man who was half a head shorter than him standing not far away from him.
Kerry was completely confused. ‘What’s going on?’
Just as he was confused, the Asian spoke, “Kerry, right? Hello, I’m a customer of your company.”
Kerry looked at the Asian man in front of him and blinked, his eyes filled with confusion. After a while, he came back to his senses, stood up straight, and said in a more official manner, “I’m sorry, but I don’t talk about work when I’m off duty.”
Su Yang looked at him and smiled. “Which duty are you referring to? The company or the mafia?”
Kerry’s eyes turned cold. ‘Things aren’t as simple as they seem to be, this Asian has definitely come prepared.’
He looked at Su Yang and adjusted his posture so that he could attack at any time. Then, he said, “I don’t know who you are.”
Su Yang nodded. “Yes, that’s right.”
Then, he quickly added, “But I could let you get to know her.”
Su Yang tilted his head and gestured to Janet.
When Kerry saw Su Yang’s actions, he instantly became alert.
However, no matter how vigilant he was, it was useless. He was not facing a human, but a ferocious beast in human skin!
After receiving Su Yang’s signal, Janet bent her legs and shot towards Kerry like an arrow.
Kerry hadn’t paid much attention when he saw that Janet was ready to move, because from the way he looked at her, Janet’s small arms and legs were too small to have much strength since it did not have any muscles in them.
‘Comparing her to the 1.9 meters tall, 120 kilograms, muscular man, the 2 of us are on completely different levels.
‘No matter how good her combat skills are, they’re useless against absolute power.
‘This situation is similar to how a lightweight boxing champion would be helpless against a heavyweight boxer.’
However, just as this thought appeared in his mind, before he could return to his senses, he suddenly realized that the beautiful woman had crossed 3 to 4 meters in a single step and aimed a punch at his stomach.
‘How is this possible!
‘Who could possibly have so much leg power to be able to make such a far leap, plus her attacks are so swift!’
However, Kerry could not afford to think anymore. Instead, he could only rely on his muscle memory to cross his arms over his stomach, hoping to block the attack.
Janet was fast, but there was a distance limit no matter how fast he was, so Kerry’s protective action was still done before Janet’s fist landed.
Kerry noticed that as well and sighed in relief. ‘The danger of being ambushed has finally passed. As long as I can withstand this blow, I will definitely not underestimate my enemy again!’
Just as he was thinking that, Janet’s fist landed.
The punch landed squarely on Kerry’s crossed arms. When it came into contact with Janet’s fist, Kerry was still proud that his muscle memory could protect him so quickly!
However, in the next second, he regretted it because he felt a sharp pain. It started from his right arm that was blocking the blow, followed by his left arm that was supporting his right arm, then his stomach and finally, he felt a huge force landing all over his body. It was like he had been run over by a speeding train, he felt like his whole body had been knocked out from his stomach!
Kerry was sent flying by Janet’s punch with a “bang” and he fell to the ground before fainting.
Seeing that the person he was looking for had fainted on the ground, Su Yang looked at Janet speechlessly. “Janet, you’ve overdone it. Do you think everyone is like Pan Zhaodi?”
Janet said nothing. He stood aside with his hands dangling by his sides.
Su Yang waved his hand and said, “Carry him over. I’ll get a bottle of water from the virtual space and splash it on his face to see if it’s effective. I’ve seen it being done in dramas.”
When Kerry woke up, he found the woman who had knocked him out squatting beside him.
The strong desire to live made him ignore whatever questions he had as he punched the woman in the face.
In his opinion, no one would be able to dodge his sudden attack that was at such close range. ‘I’m a heavyweight fighter, 1 punch is enough to K.O h....’ In the end, before he could complete his thought process, the woman reached out and easily pressed down his fist. Then, with a “bang”, his fist hit the ground!
“Ah!” Kerry screamed again. He felt like the bones in his hand had shattered!
Just as he was screaming, a man’s voice reached his ears. “Janet, why did you hit him so hard again? If he faints from the pain, I’m going to have to waste another bottle of water!”
Kerry was speechless
Keryi turned to look in the direction of the voice, only to see the Asian man from earlier standing not far from him, smiling in his direction. ‘He’s... holding a gun.’
Kerri’s heart tightened before it turned cold because he realized that the gun was his.
In other words... his final trump card was gone.
Kerry did not dare to try his luck anymore because he knew that his life was in the hands of that man and woman.
Su Yang was relieved when he saw that Kerry was behaving himself. He placed the gun into his pocket and asked Little Deeny to keep it in the virtual space. Then, he walked over to Kerry and said in English, “Hello, Kerry. I’m a customer of your company. Can we talk now?”
Kerry forced a look that was uglier than crying and nodded. “Yes, yes. Tell me.”
Su Yang told him about how he wanted to buy Socot Island and how he was cheated by Kerry’s company. Then, he showed Kerry some information.
Kerry listened to Su Yang in a daze. Then, shock was written all over his face. “All... Because of this?”
Su Yang was puzzled. “That’s right. What else could it be?”
Kerry was speechless.
‘F*ck! I thought they’re assassins sent by the gang that had their territory stolen by us today!
‘It’s just a small matter! Did he have to be so ruthless?
‘Also... I don’t really care about the company’s business specifically. I’m the boss, not a salesperson! You’re free to go and hit the salesperson, yet why are you hitting me!
‘This is similar to how you’ve been cheated by Alipay, yet you’ve gone all the way up to Hangzhou to beat up Ma Yun.
‘However, Ma Yun will also be confused by your actions because he’s not in charge of sales.
‘In other words, you’ve got the wrong guy, bro!’
Even though Kerry thought that way, he did not dare to explain himself to Su Yang. After all, it was his company. No matter how he tried to explain, he could not escape responsibility.
‘However, I now know that he isn’t trying to kill him, nor is he trying to make money. All he wants is to resolve the issue.’ At that thought, Kerry felt relieved.
Sitting on the ground, he ignored the blood and dirt on his body and picked up the documents to read. After reading for a while, he raised his head and said to Su Yang seriously, “Don’t worry, Sir! I’ll definitely help you settle this matter!”
Su Yang’s face was filled with question marks. ‘He’s giving in that easily? It’s a little hard to believe.
‘After all, if someone had beaten another person up and asked him to resolve a matter, it’s very likely that the victim wouldn’t agree to those demands. In fact, he might even try to have his revenge.’
However, [Space Traversing Eyes] would not lie. When Kerry said that, notifications kept popping up in front of Su Yang. [Sincere], [Sincere], [Sincere]...
Su Yang did not know how to understand Kerry’s mindset.
In the end, he thought about it for a long time before an idea popped up in his mind. ‘Could this person be a masochist?
‘The more he gets beaten up, the more obedient he becomes?’
As a matter of fact, Kerry wasn’t a masochist, even though he was a bit of a sex addict. He’d only been in the gang for so long that he knew how to judge a person’s worth. He knew what kind of person he could mess with and what kind of person he couldn’t.
Not to mention the young Asian man before him. Just the cold-faced woman alone who was more ruthless than anyone else was enough to prove that they were not people he could afford to offend.
‘Even if I do manage to escape this time, a person with such skills definitely won’t let me catch a break forever. Who knows, my neck might be twisted until it’s broken 1 day.
‘If these 2 are coming to look for trouble with me, perhaps I would have hesitated for a moment. However, now that I know it’s all because of a minor sales issue in my company, I would be a fool if I don’t agree to their demands!’
Therefore, he had thought it through clearly. Not only did he have to comply with their demands, he had to get it done beautifully so that those 2 people would be in his debt!
‘These 2 people might have some powerful people backing them. The possibility of me being able to reach towards greater heights rides on them.’
With that thought in mind, Kerry said, “Let’s go to my office now! I’ll get it done tonight!”
[Space Traversing Eyes] judged it as. [Sincere], [Sincere], [Sincere]...
Su Yang was confused.
‘He’s a masochist indeed...’
