Chapter 390 Silver Ability+2!
Actually, Su Yang had already decided which Silver ability he was going to add points for.
‘I only have two Silver abilities at the moment. [Heaven’s Eyes) and (Hands Of Fate].
‘Both of these abilities are very useful to me.
‘However, the current [Heaven’s Eyes) is more than enough for me at the moment. There’s no rush for me to add a point into it.]
[‘On the other hand, (Hands Of Fate] did mention (Upgradeable) in the description of the ability. Generally speaking, this would mean that it had an upgradeable ability and the effects wouldn’t be that bad.’
[In the end, Su Yang decided to add a point onto (Hands Of Fate]!
He was not the kind of person who would delay. Since he had made up his mind, he would take action immediately!
[When he returned to his study, Su Yang took out the (Silver Ability Enhancement Voucher] from the drawer and walked out of the villa to the front yard.
Ever since he had the backyard, the front yard had become a place for the monsters to play. Even the “vegetable farm” had been moved to the backyard. Fatty followed it to the backyard and carried on with its work as well. The monsters seemed to be bored on that day, each and every one of them were crawling on the ground, unknown as to what they were doing Gru took the lead with Dagger Girl following behind him. Dagger Girl had No. 17 and No. 18 behind her and a string of Little Monster Beans were following the siblings.
The group of little monsters lined up into a straight line and squirmed on the ground like a bunch of caterpillars...
‘I’m looking at a bunch of brats, I’m speechless...
‘If Tang Xiaomi were around to play with these little monsters, I supposed it would be more fun.’
At the thought of how Su Yang had not seen Tang Xiaomi for more than a month, he suddenly missed her.
During the two weeks that he was back in Shanghai, he took the opportunity to get his driver’s license with the spare time he had. With his (Tank Driving Ability), Su Yang passed his test without any mishaps.
The only accident that might have happened was when he took the practical exam, the examiner was so scared that... he almost peed in his pants.
After getting out of the car, the examiner swore that even if Su Yang were to offer him more money, he would not accept Su Yang’s request anymore...
Mmhmm. That’s right. Su Yang’s driver’s license had been obtained through bribery.
Su Yang had a very “legitimate” reason. ‘I’m a tank pilot, even if I have the talent of being able to be compatible with anything, I’m not... a professional.
‘So what’s wrong with bribery...
‘As long as I pass...
‘So, I’ve already received my driver’s license through the post office this week. In the future, I can be considered a licensed person!
‘Of course, I’ve still got a Ferrari with Tang Jing.’
Therefore, these few days, he sent Pan Zhaodi out to see if he could use her connections to settle his license plate. Pan Zhaodi was fortunate enough to not fail him and managed to obtain the license plate within the next few days.
‘I supposed it’s time for me to find Tang Jing for a ride.
‘Hang on, Why did it sound weird?
‘Well, whatever, what matters is I’ve finally gotten my own car!’
Deep in thought, Su Yang walked to the backyard in the meantime.
At the backyard, Qing Zhu returned to her original form and was swaying across the river. ‘I don’t understand her. If she liked to transform back into her true form so much, why is she “dominating” the hut? Can’t she transform back into her true form and sleep every night?’
Su Yang did not continue to complain. He walked to the river and took off his shoes. Then, he sat down and placed his feet into the water. The water was cool and comfortable.
Su Yang took out the (Silver Ability Enhancement Voucher) from his pocket and flipped it over to the back. He had developed that habit after being cheated by various (Random Point Vouchers).
However, there were no words behind the (Silver Ability Enhancement Voucher), nor were there any explanations.
‘It’s like the voucher is telling me that it doesn’t need any explanation, I can just use it as I please. Awesome!’ Hence, Su Yang flipped the (Silver Ability Enhancement Voucher) over and tore it apart.
As Su Yang tore the voucher, a silvery-white light burst out from the crack and swept across the backyard like a wave of light immediately. Everything in the backyard was coated with a layer of silver.
[At the same time, Su Yang received a notification in his mind. (Please choose the target for Silver Ability Enhancement Voucher.]
Two choices appeared before Su Yang.
[(Hands Of Fate]
[Heaven’s Eyes).]
Su Yang chose the first option without hesitation.
[Are you sure you want to use the Silver Ability Enhancement Voucher on Hands Of Fate?]
[Yes).]
Following Su Yang’s confirmation, Su Yang’s hands suddenly burst out with a bright light. It looked exactly like the first time he had obtained (Hands Of Fate).
Right after that, Su Yang felt a sharp pain. His hands felt like they were on fire. It was scorching and felt painful. Then... he realized that his hands were actually burning.
It was a clear white flame that was attached to Su Yang’s hand like maggots. It was burning on his skin, but it went deep into his bones.
Su Yang gritted his teeth in pain and only had regret in his mind.
‘I don’t regret adding a second point onto this ability, but I do regret forgetting to put on the (Double-Sided Salted Fish Mask)! I wouldn’t be in this much pain if I had worn the mask!
‘However, it was too late to say anything now. I can only grit my teeth and endure the pain as I patiently wait for the point to be added.’
[Very quickly, when Su Yang was about to get used to the pain, the flames suddenly retracted and a notification popped up in front of him. (Silver Ability: Hands Of Fate+2 Success. Ability has been enhanced.]
Following this notification, another interface popped up in front of Su Yang.
[(Silver Ability: Touching Fate’s Hands (Rank 2)]
Ability Changes: Apart from moving objects, you can also move yourself.
Restriction 1 Changes: You can operate anything within 200 kilometers and move yourself anywhere.
Restriction 2 Changes: You will have 8 minutes to operate and will move faster.
Restriction 3 Changes: You will not have to pay any price for the first 2 uses of your ability. After that, you will break a finger each time you use this ability.
Note: The best “chess player” will always include himself in his strategies.
Su Yang looked at the changes in his abilities and fell silent.
He was thinking.
‘This was the first time that I’ve seen an ability being enhanced rather than receiving a new ability..
‘Could it be that all Silver abilities will be like this when points are added?
‘Or was this the only ability that was special?
This time, +2 did indeed improve (Hands Of Fate). Not only did the distance increase from 100 kilometers to 200 kilometers, the time has extended to 3 minutes. Most importantly, the first two uses of the ability doesn’t cost anything. ‘This greatly improves the effectiveness and applicability of this ability.
“Of course, the biggest improvement is definitely the one where I can move myself.
‘In the past, when I used [Hands Of Fate), it was all from a God’s perspective, it’s like I can see all and know all. However... there was no sense of participation.]
‘It’s important to be able to have a sense of participation!
‘After all, when I used his power previously, even if I appeared beside someone else, I would only be like a ghost. When the ability ended, I would still return to my original place.
‘This makes me feel like I’m just playing a game instead of having actual control of the situation.
‘Sometimes, I won’t be there when something happens, so I can only guess what happened next.
‘For example, in the Imperial Capital, after I used my ability on the male celebrity who tried to poison me, Luo Yi, everything after that was left up to fate and I have no idea what happened after that.
‘After that, I had only realized that something had happened to Luo Yi when the police called to ask me about my relationship with Luo Yi.
‘In the end, I had to indirectly ask Tan Mei to find out what happened after that. When Luo Yi and his friend were having a meal at home, they accidentally ingested the ricin. Although they didn’t die, they were very close to being dead.
‘In addition, because his friend had eaten ricin, when he was sent to the hospital, they found “laundry” on his body and was immediately filed for an investigation. ‘Either way, it was very miserable for them. ‘I have moved on from Luo Yi’s incident. However, I do feel that I’ve missed out on the thrill and the sense of participation since I can’t see what happened at that moment.
[‘This has always been what I found (Hands Of Fate] to be lacking in.
(Furthermore, even though I have two Silver abilities, I still feel like an ordinary person.
‘This is because the abilities I have can only be used on myself instead of showing it for others to see.
‘But... now I’ve gotten it.
[‘Now that (Hands Of Fate] has been upgraded, I can totally pretend that I know how to teleport! How awesome is that! Should I call myself... the Teleporter?
‘Yuck, that’s such a cheap name.’
At the thought of the new changes to the ability and the two “free” uses that he got to use everyday, Su Yang wanted to give it a try.
‘Teleport? Where should I teleport to?’ Su Yang could not help but think of Tang Xiaomi...
‘I missed her before. Should I... visit her?’
At the thought of this, Su Yang could not help but smile. “This girl left a message on my WeChat saying that I have gone missing and was ignoring her. Therefore, it’s time for him to visit her.’
At that thought, Su Yang used his ability.
He stood up from the river and slowly raised his hands.
As he raised his hand, the familiar pressure pressed down on him again, and everything became silent!
Looking at the completely still bamboo forest, Su Yang gritted his teeth and used all his strength to push his hands down!
Boom!
With a loud bang, a bolt of lightning flashed across the sky. A moment later, rolling black clouds came from all directions, and he fell into darkness...
When Su Yang regained his senses, he appeared before the gigantic “sand table” as usual.
However, it was different from before. Even though he had also turned into a ‘giant’, he used to only have one pair of hands, and the rest of his body was in a “spectral state”. Now, he had gained a physical body.
‘Is this what this ability +2 gives me?’
As he thought about this, Su Yang’s gaze passed through the houses and trees that were arranged like blocks. He looked into the distance and recited Tang Jing’s address.
His body suddenly shrank and he moved through the building blocks. Moments later, he appeared at the entrance of Tang Jing’s residential area.
Su Yang took a glance at the security guard at the entrance of the neighborhood. Without hesitation, he tapped on the building where Tang Jing was staying and entered the building
Unlike the past, when Su Yang entered the building, it was just an illusion. However, this time, it was different. His body had turned corporeal and he was made of flesh and blood.
‘So... If I want to do something, it seems like I can get it done...’
Su Yang arrived at Tang Jing’s house with ease. Looking at the tightly shut door, he extended his hand and his body moved like a phantom before entering the room.
The room was still as clean as tidy as usual, but Tang Jing and Tang Xiaomi did not seem to be home.
Su Yang was confused for a moment. ‘Did they go to a villa in the suburbs? Have I come to the wrong place?’
Because there was a time limit, Su Yang quickly went to check the rooms.
‘Not in the living room, not in the kitchen, not in the master bedroom, secondary room...
‘Hey, Tang Xiaomi just so happens to be in the secondary bedroom.’
The brat was sitting in front of the study table in the bedroom and was answering some questions. Her face was frozen in a frown as she stared at the questions on the table with resentment.
Looking at her cute face, Su Yang smiled and deactivated his power.
As the power came into contact, time returned to normal. Tang Xiaomi squinted her eyes at the questions she had and threw a tantrum. “Bad Mom! Stupid Mom! Always making me answer questions!”
“Hmph! Stupid Su Yang! Bad Su Yang! You haven’t visited me after so long!”
As the little girl cursed, her small hands clumsily grabbed a pencil and began to doodle.
Su Yang appeared behind her without making a sound. He took a look at her exercise questions. ‘Hmm... She’s answering some math questions. It seems like Tang Jing isn’t neglecting her responsibility of teaching her.
Su Yang bent down and whispered into Tang Xiaomi’s ear, “Xiaomi.”
Tang Xiaomi’s body trembled for a moment, and then... a child’s piercing scream echoed throughout the room!
Su Yang immediately hugged her and then covered her mouth. “Shh! What are you doing?”
Tang Xiaomi’s eyes were wide open as she looked at Su Yang in horror. Tears were streaming down her face.
Then her horrified expression slowly turned into surprise, and her eyes became more and more lively. Her face was filled with joy, and her large eyes sparkled like the most beautiful gem in the world.
Su Yang let go of his hand that was hugging onto her and made a shushing gesture.
When Tang Xiaomi nodded, Su Yang let go of her hand that was covering her mouth.
The moment Su Yang let go, Tang Xiaomi said excitedly, “Su Yang! Why are you here? You’re actually Ultraman, aren’t you?”
Su Yang was speechless ‘What the heck?’
Tang Xiaomi also felt that she had said something wrong. She quickly shook her head and then asked cutely, “No, no, you’re actually a happy sheep, right?”
‘Why does this child seem dumber after not seeing her for the past few days?
Su Yang patted her head and said, “Enough of your nonsense. I’m actually an alien.”
Tang Xiaomi’s face bloomed like a flower. She looked at Su Yang with stars in her eyes and asked in a childish voice, “How did you do it? How did you suddenly appear in the room?”
Su Yang looked around and whispered, “Have you seen “Me From The Stars”?”.
Tang Xiaomi shook her head in confusion.
‘That’s right, a little girl shouldn’t be watching such shows. After all, she isn’t of age yet. Su Yang said, “Let me tell you. All aliens have superpowers. They can teleport, grow bigger, spit fire and water. But... this is our secret, you can’t tell anyone else.”
Tang Xiaomi’s eyes were shining as she nodded like a chick pecking on some rice.
Perhaps she thought that the promise was not sincere enough, she even stuck out her pinky. “This is our secret. I will never tell anyone about it!”
Su Yang smiled and made a pinky promise with her. “That’s right, never tell anyone.”
After the pinky swear, Tang Xiaomi asked softly, “Then... can I not tell mommy as well?”.
Su Yang nodded very naturally. “Of course! You can’t tell your mommy either. If you do, my ability will lose its effect.” When she heard how serious Su Yang was, Tang Xiaomi covered her mouth with both hands and looked as if she would rather die than say anything. Su Yang laughed out loud. Just as he was laughing, Tang Jing’s voice came from outside the door. “Xiaomi? Are you okay?”
Tang Jing was at home?
Su Yang looked at Tang Xiaomi in shock. Tang Xiaomi looked terrified as well and gestured for Su Yang to hide.
Su Yang looked around the room before hiding under the bed.
However, the moment he got under the bed, the bedroom door was pushed open. From Su Yang’s perspective, he could only see a pair of fair and tender legs with water stains on them. ‘It seems like... Tang Jing has just taken a shower?’
