Chapter 297 Killing Baldy!
Although he couldn’t move or speak at that moment, Baldy thought of many things. ‘How did Su Yang know my phone number?
‘Why is your name listed as Boss on my phone?
‘Are you actually connected to me?’
For a moment, Baldy even suspected that he was actually an undercover agent sent by Su Yang that had amnesia. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense at all!
However, something even more terrifying happened. He found himself opening his mouth uncontrollably as he said in an equally low, monotonous voice, “Hello. My name is Liu Qiang.”
If Baldy had just been able to convince himself into thinking he had amnesia, or that he had accidentally picked up the phone, then he was now in absolute fear!
‘What’s wrong with me?
‘Why is this happening all of a sudden?
‘Why am I uncontrollably talking!
‘I don’t want to talk!’
Baldy’s eyes were so wide that they were about to pop out of their sockets as fear filled his expression.
Then he heard Su Yang whisper, “I don’t have anyone around me right now, do you?”
Baldy replied uncontrollably, “There’s no one around me either.”
Their dialogue didn’t sound out of the ordinary but it was also incomparably bizarre.
Baldy felt himself breaking out in a cold sweat, feeling like he was possessed by a ghost! How else could he explain this!
Su Yang continued, “One of my two friends is in the bathroom while the other is in his room. So... Where are the two accomplices who were with you last night?”
‘Two accomplices?’
Baldy’s brain was racing. ‘Is he talking about Sea Serpent and Monkey?! What does this Su Yang want?’
Then, he ‘saw’ himself opening his mouth and saying, “My two friends are in the next room. One is in room 1106 while the other is in room 1108.”
He told him the addresses of Sea Serpent and Monkey.
Baldy was going crazy!
He didn’t know how Su Yang had done it, but he trusted his earlier judgment! This man had a problem and there was something very wrong with him.
Baldy felt like he had it all figured out. ‘Since Su Yang can manipulate me into answering his questions! Then the so-called ‘virtual space’ must be real too! There must really be a space like this!
‘As for that strange chant...”Bean! Bean! Bean!” It must be some demon, goblin, or some other strange creature! Do ghosts and spirits really exist in this world?’ Baldy had guessed all these things before but he had been half-hearted. After all, he had no evidence and only had a recording.
Even if it really were ghosts and advanced technology, he was now more inclined to believe that Su Yang had exceedingly advanced technology in his possession that could even open up a pocket dimension!
Now that it was all laid out in front of him, he had to believe it!
“There really are superpowers in this world! There really are monsters!’
Although he guessed the truth, he was still unable to stop things from developing.
Then, Su Yang asked his third question, “I’m currently in the basement of Building 16, Fulu District, 142 Anyang Road, Baoshan, Shanghai. Where are you?”
Baldy was frightened and scared. Although he didn’t know why Su Yang was revealing his location, his inner instincts made him resist saying anything. However, it was an exercise in futility. Aside from his mouth trembling along with his voice, he couldn’t do anything else.
“I’m in room 1107 on the 11th floor of the Andorian Hotel in Puxi, Shanghai.”
Once he answered the question, the call was immediately ended.
Baldy felt himself regain control of his body as he dropped the phone and tried to run out of the spooky room to inform Sea Serpent and Monkey that there was something wrong with that man! There was a big problem!
However, he suddenly felt a great fear descend upon him before he could run to the door. He shouted in despair toward the door, “Quick! Run!”
No sooner had he uttered the word ‘quickly’, everything stood still.
Dust drifted in the air, his vocal cords stilled in his throat as his voice stopped trembling while his mind stopped...
Virtual space. After exchanging secrets with the [Booth of Exchanging Secrets). Su Yang walked out of the phone booth as he lamented about the power of this ability.]
Normally, Su Yang would have to leave a buffer to avoid the possible effects of continuous use of an ability on his body.
However, Baldy already knew about the special ability he had so Su Yang felt like he couldn’t give him even the slightest room to breathe. After all, it would only take ten seconds for him to pass on what happened to him to others through WeChat or SMS.
[In order to prevent any trouble in the future, Su Yang didn’t hesitate in activating his silver ability, (Hands of Fate] as he left the booth.
He slowly lifted his hands and everything came to a standstill. That familiar pressure descended on his body once again as he gritted his teeth, pressing down on his palms with all his strength All he heard was a loud bang. After a bolt of lightning and black clouds rolled in from all directions, he was plunged into darkness...
A moment later, Su Yang appeared in front of the huge ‘sandbox’.
Su Yang didn’t waste any time. His eyes peered through a block-like arrangement of roads, and houses as he looked into the distance, silently reciting the hotel address that Baldy had left for him.
Then he shuttled among the city blocks, and a minute later, his gigantic figure appeared in the sky above Andorra Hotel. With his previous experience, Su Yang didn’t hesitate to click on Andorra Hotel. Then, his figure flashed and disappeared from the sky above the hotel.
Entering the interior of the hotel, Su Yang’s mind moved him. His entire body flew straight up, passing through a layer of concrete and stairs before he arrived on the 11th floor!
Then, he looked around and found room 1107.
Su Yang went straight to the door of the room and passed through without obstruction. There, he saw Baldy frozen in a running stance toward the doorway, his bloodshot eyes bulging with a face full of despair.
Su Yang moved with his mind. Then, Baldy’s arms and legs were joined together and as he waved his hand, the room’s window opened before Baldy was thrown from the window.
Right after that, Su Yang leaped out of the hotel as well.
Appearing over the hotel again, Su Yang once again regained his gigantic body. Then, he grabbed Baldy and silently recited the address of his basement. Suddenly, time and space warped and the block-like city moved around him and Baldy. A moment later, they returned to the basement.
After arriving, Su Yang glanced around the basement, and with a wave of his hand, a rope flew out from the corner, wrapping itself around Baldy before tying itself neatly in a bow.
After doing all this, before Su Yang put Baldy on the ground as the endless black clouds once again enveloped him from all directions. Su Yang’s eyes suddenly became dark as his silver ability timed out.
When the ability ended, time returned to normal. Vehicles and pedestrians continued to move as if nothing had ever happened. On the other hand, room 1107 of the Andorra Hotel was now empty.
A summer breeze blew through the wide-open windows as the curtains fluttered in the wind...
Su Yang appeared in the virtual space after ending his silver ability. As he endured the pain of his broken finger, he summoned Janet from the virtual space to bring Baldy in.
Merely 30 seconds later, Baldy had already been brought into the virtual space like the carcass of a chicken.
At this time, Su Yang had already washed his hands with (Unorthodox Soap) as he reached out to touch the bald big man who was still struggling in Janet’s hands with a hideous face. Baldy had lost complete control of his body.
Facing the guy that he had already sentenced to death, Su Yang didn’t care if the violence revealed the fact that he possessed superpowers. He brought out the [Memory Labyrinth Hourglass) and slapped it on the table in front of Baldy.]
Time stood still once more as he experienced the feeling of spacetime warping descend upon him. He hadn’t experienced this for a long time and after a moment, Su Yang appeared in Baldy’s memories.
Without looking at irrelevant memories, Su Yang single-handedly went to find memories Baldy had about himself before slowly browsing through them...
After checking out all of Baldy’s memories, Su Yang felt a chill run down his back.
‘Zhao Xiao isn’t actually a liar... Does he really have some sort of background in the capital? Is he the bastard son of some big shot?
‘If you have a real background, why are you pretending to be a con artist. Are you cosplaying?’ However, after finding out that Zhao Xiao had a family that had some power in the country behind him, Su Yang still had no regrets. After all, he’d still make a move against Zhao Xiao if he could do it all again.
‘Scum like them who’re involved in vice, gambling, and drugs... They deserve to die!
As for Baldy, Su Yang also knew his identity, he was an assassin groomed by Zhao Xiao’s family. He was ordered to investigate the death of Zhao Xiao, and incidentally exact revenge. The two men beside him, Sea Snake and Monkey, are both strong assassins within the organizations.
It was just that these two have never had much brains so they let Baldy lead the team.
Although Baldy was suspicious of some of the things surrounding Su Yang, it remained as a suspicion that he didn’t report. After all, the real world was still materialistic and without any evidence, no one would believe in the existence of superpowers. After going through Baldy’s memories, Su Yang was relieved. Fortunately, he reacted decisively in time and acted. Otherwise, it might have really caused a major disaster!
Then, Su Yang waved his hand at Janet, indicating that he was supposed to dispose of Baldy.
Since these three had been plotting against him from the start, Su Yang wouldn’t show any mercy.
Although he knew that he would continue being an enemy of the Feng family in the capital, Su Yang wasn’t someone who was afraid of trouble since he had already provoked them!
After all, his methods were strange, mysterious, and truly indefensible. ‘Even if the Feng family possessed great power, you only live once, right?’
‘Those with true strength do not fear the weak. Let’s see who’s afraid of who.’
Seeing Su Yang’s gesture, Baldy knew in his heart that he was in danger as he looked around in his struggle. However, (Unorthodox Soap) prevented him from moving so he could only watch as Janet dragged him to the pool...
When he was pushed halfway down the pool, Baldy made a miserable scream.
After a moment, everything went silent... “This intelligent assassin just disappeared from the world...!
[Su Yang looked at his broken finger, felt the excruciating pain, and used his silver ability, (Hands of Fate] again!
‘One down, two to go!’
[Everything stood still as he activated (Hands of Fate] once more.
Su Yang appeared above the hotel once again but knew he only had five minutes to deal with Monkey and Sea Serpent.
He almost ran out of time when he dealt with Baldy earlier so he had to hurry up for the remaining two!
