This Privacy Policy describes how the AINovel.kz platform (hereinafter "we", "the platform") collects, uses and protects users' personal data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Personal Data and Their Protection" No. 94-V of May 21, 2013.

1. What data we collect

When you use the platform, we may collect the following data:

• Registration data: username, email address, hashed password.
• Usage data: pages viewed, reading progress, bookmarks, ratings and comments.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution (via Google Analytics).
• Cookies: session cookies for authentication, settings cookies (theme).

2. Purposes of data processing

Personal data is processed in order to:

• Provide access to platform features (reading, bookmarks, ratings).
• Ensure account security and prevent abuse.
• Analyze platform usage to improve service quality.
• Send notifications about new chapters (if subscribed).

3. Cookies and analytics

We use the following categories of cookies:

• Necessary: session cookies (__Secure-session) for authorization to work. Without them, logging in to your account is impossible.
• Functional: theme cookies (theme) to save your settings.
• Analytical: Google Analytics (Google LLC) — for analyzing traffic. They collect anonymized visit data. Loaded only with your consent.

4. Transfer of data to third parties

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties, except:

• Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA): anonymized visit data — only with your consent.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA): technical protection and CDN — processes IP addresses to protect against attacks.

5. Data storage and protection

• Passwords are stored as a cryptographic hash (PBKDF2-SHA256) and cannot be recovered.
• Data is stored on protected servers with encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+).
• Only platform administrators have access to personal data.
• Account data is stored until the account is deleted by the user or at the user's request.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, you have the right to:

• Request information about the data stored.
• Demand correction of inaccurate data.
• Demand deletion of your personal data.
• Withdraw consent to data processing.
