Han Yi did not know that Lin Jiali had meant what she said to be for Su Yang, so she could not help but feel weird.
Hence, she could not help but ask, “Sister Jiali, are you still angry?”
Lin Jiali smiled and shook her head. “You’re overthinking, Little Yi.”
As she said that, she reached out to hold Han Yi’s hand. “I’m not angry. In fact, I want to have a good chat with you.”
Then, she looked at Su Yang...
Su Yang was speechless.
‘Am I interrupting your best friend’s conversation?
‘Fine, I’ll leave. Happy now?’
Then, he stood up and said, “You guys have a chat first while I go out to take a breather.”
Su Yang stood up and left the apartment.
After exiting the apartment, Su Yang went downstairs and walked around twice, wondering what Lin Jiali and Han Yi were talking about...
After thinking about it for a long time, he felt like he could not guess at all.
‘I used to think I understand Lin Jiali, but now I think I might be imagining things. There’s no man in the world who can ever understand women...
‘Compared to men, women are literally creatures of another species who are too hard to understand.’
When he reached downstairs, Su Yang went to the 7-Eleven convenience store to buy a drink. Then, he found a seat by the window and sat down before he took out Little Deeny and opened WeChat.
The reason he opened WeChat was actually not to find someone to chat with, nor did he want to look at his Moments. He actually wanted to look at his stock account which was linked to his WeChat, the most convenient place in his opinion.
‘Today’s Saturday, the trading days for this Friday have ended, time for me to look at my harvest.’
Su Yang opened his stock investments and looked at his stocks on WeChat.
‘SUNDAY has been hitting its upper limit for 5 days since the Friday from 2 weeks ago, while yesterday was another week. As Little Hus had sniffed, SUNDAY has stopped hitting its upper limit, the first phase of the crazy increase trend has ended.
‘Coupled with my 2% increase in earnings earlier and the 4% increase yesterday, I’ve earned about 88% over the past 6 days. The total amount in my account has also increased from 75 million yuan to 140 million yuan...
Su Yang had ignored the 920,000 yuan because the entire number was too shocking...
‘I’m definitely getting too satisfied to be able to even ignore 920,000 yuan.’
Looking at the 9-digit number on his account, Su Yang was at a loss. ‘Just like that, have I completed a small target just like that?
‘Why does it feel a little exaggerated and surreal?
‘So, it’s indeed because of the difference in status that people would have different perspectives. When the previous richest man said that earning 100 million yuan was just a small target, I thought that he was just being pretentious. Now... Yeap, definitely being pretentious.
‘However, the difference now is that I can be pretentious too!’
After thinking about the money he earned now, Su Yang started thinking about the money he would be able to earn in the future.
‘According to Little Hus, although the share price would not increase to its upper limit so ridiculously, it would still continue to rise for a month. In that case, I should continue to hold on to my stocks. Who knows, I might be able to earn some more over the next month.
‘Even though it’s quite a sum of money, Little Hus’s nose did not detect any accidents, so there shouldn’t be any big issues.
Of course, to be on the safe side, I still have to get Little Hus to sniff out the stocks everyday to avoid any sudden risks. For example, the stock price dropping by 8 points during the opening of the market, that’s 3200 stocks hitting its bottom limit, which means there would be 6 trillion yuan loss in the market within a day, something like that.
‘Also, aside from earning money, I also need to rely on this stock to complete the second Silver Mission.’
Previously, Su Yang had accepted his second Silver Mission which was to earn 100 million yuan from a single project.
Over the past few days, he had made a list of his own projects. There was nothing that could earn him money within a short period of time, so after some calculations, that stock was the only hope he had.
‘The past Wednesday was the last day my stocks would be forcefully locked due to the last Silver Mission, so the increase on Thursday and Friday will be counted towards the new Silver Mission.
‘On Thursday and Friday, the stock has gone up 14%, earning me 17 million yuan. Therefore, all I need now is for it to rise another 60% within the next month so that I can complete the mission...
‘There’s a high chance for this to happen.
‘So, I’d better not budge...’
After checking his account, Su Yang could not help but want to know how Xu Lu was doing. Tang Jing had a soft personality and was close to him. Hence, after Su Yang gave her some advice, Tang Jing had followed in Su Yang’s footsteps and held onto the stocks.
As for Xu Lu, she had her own views and they were just friends. Hence, Su Yang could only say that it was all up to her.
At that very same time, Xu Lu was arguing on the phone with her cousin.
“Cousin! Look! It rose to its upper limit for 5 consecutive days and on the sixth day, the stock opened up its upper limits. So, do you believe me now?”
Xu Lu’s cousin did not speak for a long time.
Xu Lu’s cousin had been in the stock market for several years and she had gone through many public accounts and teaching materials. Moreover, she has also met many scammers, but Su Yang’s accuracy was something that she had never seen before.
However, it did not make sense for her to admit that her cousin’s junior was a stock investment genius. ‘Is there really someone who’s so sharp with what’s happening in the stock market?
‘He’s literally seeing into the future...’
Reason told her that it was impossible for such a person to exist. Even the best stock market expert would not be able to predict the outcome so accurately unless he was a banker or had invested a lot of money to operate that stock.
‘According to Xu Lu, Su Yang isn’t even controlling the shares and is merely buying high and selling low which is no different from a retailer.
‘So... Could he really be a scammer? Is this a new trick that hasn’t been exposed yet?’
Even though she suspected that Su Yang was a scammer, Xu Lu’s cousin felt that it was unrealistic when she thought about Su Yang’s achievements. ‘Do scammers have such a high success rate when choosing stocks?’
After thinking about it, she decided not to think about it for the time being, so she summarized the topic and decided to move on to another topic. “Since he said that the stock is no longer hitting its upper limit, then sell the stock. Don’t let it get adjusted again.”
Xu Lu raised her voice. “Impossible! I’m going to continue holding onto it!”
Her cousin was really puzzled this time. “He already said that it won’t increase. Why are you still holding onto this stock?”
Xu Lu said, “He only said that the stock will not hit its upper limit anymore. He didn’t say that it won’t rise. My junior said that the stock trend is very good and we can hold onto it for a month.”
Xu Lu’s cousin listened quietly. Then she looked at SUNDAY a little blankly...
‘A month’s worth of stock trend?
‘Seriously?
‘Should I give it a try...’
After sitting downstairs for about half an hour, Su Yang received a call from Lin Jiali. She told him that the two of them had finished their conversation and wanted him to return. However, before Su Yang returned, he was asked to buy some food since the both of them were hungry.
‘The both of them are... Hungry?
‘I suppose it’s normal for Lin Jiali to be hungry, but Han Yi too? An hour ago, she just stuffed 7 to 8 steamed buns into her mouth.
‘This girl is no longer a foodie, she’s a glutton!
‘How could she possibly be always hungry when she keeps eating?
‘If she loses her popularity someday, she would probably still be able to regain her popularity by being a foodie in the media!
‘After all, what’s most popular now is the concept of being an internet celebrity. She’ll be able to gain some popularity by relying on being an internet celebrity.’
As Su Yang continued to roast, he asked for directions to find out where there was food nearby.
The staff at the convenience store told him that there was a restaurant on the next street, with lots of food inside.
Su Yang guessed that Han Yi bought the fruit tea there.
Therefore, he followed the directions given by the staff and walked for about 5 minutes before arriving at the restaurant.
The street was not big, but it was filled with small and unique restaurants that looked appetizing. Su Yang also saw the shop where Han Yi bought milk tea.
It was close to noon, which was time for lunch, hence the restaurant was already lined up with customers who wanted to buy fruit tea.
‘Hmm... No wonder Han Yi bought for more than half an hour.’
As Su Yang complained, he went to the shops to buy some food that looked pretty good. There were fried chicken ribs, egg pancakes, sushi, spicy pork belly rice and so on. In any case, Su Yang had bought a set of each specialty on the street.
He did not know what the 2 female celebrities liked to eat, so he decided to buy a little of everything.
Of course... he did not forget to buy some diet food for Lin Jiali, which was low in calories, as Han Yi had said when she entered since that was all she ate.
After he was done shopping, Su Yang returned to the apartment with his bags.
After he knocked on the door, it opened up, revealing Han Yi’s smiling face and Lin Jiali’s laughter behind her. He did not know what the both of them had been talking about, but the atmosphere was harmonious.
Seeing that Su Yang had bought so many things, Han Yi took the things from Su Yang’s left hand and said, “Wow, you actually bought so much.”
Su Yang nodded. “I don’t know what you girls like to eat, so I bought all of them.”
He added silently in his heart. ‘Anyway, all these things don’t even add up to 920,000 yuan... So it doesn’t hurt.
Su Yang remembered taking a casual glance at his stock moments ago. The total market value of his stock was 920,000 yuan and some change.
‘Hmm... It’s just chump change, nothing for me to feel bad about.’ Su Yang, who had a small target, was really that satisfied with himself...
After returning to the table, the 3 of them ate something together. Then, Han Yi said that she had something to attend to, so she left first.
Su Yang was baffled and wanted to stop her. ‘We haven’t even gotten down to business. Why are you leaving?’
However, he was stopped by Lin Jiali.
Even though Su Yang did not know what Lin Jiali was up to, he had a good understanding of her character and knew that she would not cause trouble on purpose.
Therefore, he watched as Han Yi finished her meal and left without saying a word.
After Han Yi left, Lin Jiali sat back on the sofa, showing her feminine side. “What? You can’t bear to see her leave?”
[Space Traversing Eyes] judged it as. [Envy], [Envy]...
‘Envy? Yeap, 1 level lower than jealousy.’
Su Yang, who could see her emotions, quickly tried to salvage the situation. “That’s impossible. I just feel that we haven’t gotten down to business yet.”
Lin Jiali said, “I’ve already discussed it for you. You can take a look at the specific terms.”
As she spoke, she picked up a document from the table and passed it to Su Yang.
Su Yang looked at her in surprise before lowering his head to look at the document. The document was very simple. After all, it was a discussion between 2 non-professionals. They only wrote down some conditions in the simplest language. ‘Hmm... There are even some word errors here.
‘Celebrities generally haven’t got a high level of culture, that’s understandable.’
After reading through the document, Su Yang was a little surprised. Han Yi’s conditions were out of his expectations. It was not high, but it was not low either. Not only would Han Yi pay for the breach of contract herself, but even the management agency’s commission was the most average within the industry.
Other than monetary conditions, the other conditions were not too harsh. For example, the requirement was for her to have at least 1 female lead role in a television drama every year, with no less than three advertisement jobs.
It was only normal for a small agency to have such a clause when signing a huge celebrity.
Other than that, the harshest clause was that Han Yi had the authority to terminate her contract as an artist at Su Yang’s management agency if she felt New Arts Culture was unsuitable for her.
However, the termination of her contract was a negotiation instead of being unconditional without any price.
All in all, the conditions were shockingly good. It was much better than what Su Yang had planned.
Lin Jiali added, “I’ve done everything I can. Little Yi asked for the terms of freedom to protect herself, so I can’t persuade her against it. After all, although she’s returning to the agency to repay the agency’s kindness, she also wants to leave a way out for herself. If the company really isn’t of any help to her, then she’s done her part by coming back.”
At that point, Lin Jiali stood up and looked at Su Yang. She said in a serious tone, “So... I also want to know how you’re going to arrange Little Yi and myself.”
