When Su Yang saw the humongous amount of money he had in his stock account, he was shocked silly.
‘Oh my God! I have so much money!?
‘This is three minor targets already!
‘How did I end up with so much money?’
Su Yang quickly got Little Deeny to show him the stock market chart for the past month. ‘I bought SUNDAY on the 8th of last month, which will be just a month till date.
‘At that time, the first week had passed. On the 18th of last month, when I went to Han Yi’s house, the stock price had almost doubled, reaching more than 130 million yuan.
‘Then, over the next four weeks, the stock would go up a notch every week. Even if the stock did not hit its upper limit for 5 trading days in a row, it still managed to hit it for 4 trading days.
‘Even though the stocks would occasionally open up its limit board or even adjust for a day or two, it would soon begin another round of hitting its upper limit again.’
Su Yang asked Little Deeny to give him a series of figures on that stock. In the end, he discovered that in the past month or so, the stock had had five rounds where it had risen to its upper limit, each round increased close to twice fold.
And every round, a new organization or investor would take over and continue bringing up the price of the stocks.
This meant that the stock had been brought up by five large financial groups. That was why it had increased by nearly five times in just one month!
Su Yang did some calculations and realized... ‘SUNDAY has increased by 4.67 times, from 7.2 yuan a month ago to 30.33 yuan today. It’s now become the leading stock.
‘No one would ever have thought of how just because the ability of online celebrities to bring in products had been approved of could bring in such a terrifying increase in trend.
‘However, because I was able to rake in solid profits, my capital has increased by almost five times. From 75 million yuan to 340 million yuan.’
Su Yang took a look at the time. ‘It’s almost a month since Little Hus sniffed the stock. Coincidentally, I’m in a little bit of a pickle at the moment, so should I cash out my stocks?’
Su Yang shared his thoughts with Little Deeny.
Little Deeny affirmed Su Yang’s thoughts. She said that she had been asking for Little Hus to sniff the stock for the past half a month and realized that there would actually be another small increase in the stock price. However, Su Yang’s capital was too huge at that moment. Hence, If he were to go on and reap in the remaining profits, he might not be able to sell it at a suitable price.
To put it bluntly, even if the stock had increased by five times, its total market value was only 30 billion yuan, whereas Su Yang’s 300 million yuan worth of capital took up too much of the total market value. Hence, the impact on the stock price was too great.
According to Little Deeny’s estimates, if he were to start selling his shares at that point, the stock market would be very lively because that stock was the top stock. Therefore, it was very likely that while Su Yang was selling his stock, the stock price would still increase. That way, while Su Yang is cashing out, he might even be able to gain one or two points extra.
However, once the stock increased by five or six points and reached its peak, the other investors and organizations would be selling their stocks as well. Hence, it would be very likely that the stock price would drop, so Su Yang might not be able to cash out as much as he would at that moment.
Su Yang did not really understand Little Deeny’s explanation, but he had gone from being an executive to a manager. Hence, he believed in one principle, if you don’t understand something, leave it to the professionals.
After deciding on the plan to sell his stocks, Su Yang knew that he had sufficient cash flow at that moment. It would not be as tight as Young Master Ying and the rest had guessed. At the very least, he was relieved of his worries.
Su Yang felt that the call he made to Young Master Ying was worth it. Although he did not meet Young Master Ying, he had achieved his goal. ‘I now know who my enemy is and what their plans are.
‘Well then, I suppose I do owe Young Master Ying a favour now.
‘Even though this young man doesn’t seem very reliable and had even been tricked into giving me money and a car, he’s still a good person and I could see him as a friend.
‘Also, even though he keeps insisting on not letting me reveal that it was him to rat out the secret, the moment he told me about this, he was actually already considered to be standing on my side.
‘However, he’s not a loner like me and there are too many people involved, so he couldn’t expose himself.’
After knowing who the enemy was, Su Yang started to think of ways to deal with them.
‘The Fengs are obviously coming after me this time. Firstly, they tarnished Han Yi’s reputation, then they come out with some nonsense saying that it was a problem with my “working style”. After that, they blocked off my film project, preventing me from gaining any return on my investment. Lastly, Sun Hao publicly reported that I had violated the rules when I bought that piece of land.
‘The problem is... I really did break some rules!
‘Urgh, I’ve got a slight headache.
‘I was quite happy when I managed to gain some advantage. However, I did not expect for this loophole to be discovered so quickly.
‘It seems like the best solution right now is to increase the value of the Jiadian E-Commerce Company or I could return the loan directly. That way, the loophole would be fixed and all should be well.’
Just as Su Yang was about to do that, he suddenly realized something. ‘Something’s not right... Something smells fishy here.
‘Sun Hao is also a billionaire, so how much benefit did the Fengs give him that he would willingly file a report publicly without caring about his own future?
‘How many millions of yuan would it be?
‘Based on [In] Company’s development, Sun Hao would not have any problems having a net worth of several hundred millions of yuan! They shouldn’t have been able to make him budge at all!
‘There’s definitely something wrong here.’
Su Yang pondered for a while and suddenly raised his head. His eyes widened. ‘I got it!
‘The Fengs are indeed venomous vipers!
‘There’s definitely something wrong with the person they had reported! Sun Hao’s report was just a cover to link him to that person!
‘On the Inside, they most likely have some other evidence that has already been handed over to the city!
‘Therefore, as long as the city followed the report, they would be able to find that person’s problem.
‘After the investigation is over, the city would then announce to the public that the man had indeed broken the law and I had already gotten in touch with the man. Therefore, even if I’m innocent, others wouldn’t believe me!
‘When that time comes... I won’t be able to clear my name even if I repented with my own death!
‘The Fengs aren’t only planning to destroy me financially, they’re also planning to tarnish my reputation. They’re planning to make me die a social death!
‘A fine representation of destroying someone both physically and mentally.
‘However, even though I know all this, I still have... No idea how to resolve this problem.
‘Right now, no one is willing to help me, nor would they be able to interfere in the matter as well.
‘What should I do...’
Su Yang frowned and pondered...
Suddenly, his eyes lit up! ‘Eh? Jiang Yan?
‘She might be able to help me...’
At Hangzhou, in Sun Hao’s office at [In] Company.
Sun Hao was still chatting with Ms. Feng.
“Are you sure there won’t be any problems with the person from Baoshan District whom you asked me to report on?”
Ms. Feng glanced at him and her face revealed a trace of undisguised mockery. “Don’t worry, there won’t be any problems. Do you really think this operation is just to target Mr. Su? He’s not that important.”
Then, she paused. “Before my cousin died, he recruited a few people with potential for us. The person you reported stopped us. Since he already had a bunch of problems, we then thought of ways to report him. Mr. Su just happened to come into the picture coincidentally.”
“Keep watching, our evidence has already been sent to the city. The city will soon find something. When that happens and that person is in trouble, Mr. Su won’t be able to explain himself. He’s going to sh*t in his pants no matter what.”
Sun Hao started to sweat even more. He had not expected it to be so much deeper than what it was on the surface. It was truly frightening.
He wiped his sweat and then said respectfully, “Ms. Feng, you have such a wonderful foresight. I believe that Mr. Su would not be able to expect what’s coming for him.”
The woman nodded slightly and said disdainfully, “Actually, even if he does manage to realize the truth, what can he possibly do? Is he able to resolve it? So long as the leader of our family is still alive, everyone has to show some respect to our family, lest that person in Shanghai.”
“Unless he’s able to get that family to take action, otherwise, this is a conspiracy in broad daylight. He won’t be able to escape even if he does unravel the conspiracy that ensues!”
After that, the woman took a sip of water and said, “Alright, that’s the gist of the plan. Now, let’s just sit back and watch the show.”
“By the way, the contract for the company shares that you transferred to me will be done in a few days. My company will send someone to sign the contract with you. Remember to prepare everything necessary.”
Sun Hao quickly nodded. “Understood.”
The two chatted for a while more before Sun Hao escorted the woman out of the office.
After sending the woman away, Sun Hao returned to his office and closed the door. He took a deep breath and sat down on the sofa. He felt like the clothes on his back were drenched in sweat. ‘Chatting with that woman was too stressful.
‘It’s not because this woman is powerful, but because of her identity.
‘Without this woman, my investors wouldn’t even be willing to support me.
‘However, because of this, I’ve now completely become her pawn. I’m knees deep in this and I can no longer hope to wash my hands off this.
‘Therefore, I can only hope to complete this task given by her. When the time comes, I’ll make use of their influence to climb up the ladder myself...
‘Sometimes, even though I know that this isn’t the right path, I can only continue moving forwards.’
At that same moment, Su Yang had successfully made an appointment with Jiang Yan. They would... Meet up at the bar they both frequented that night.
