Chapter 241 Sanque Is Left With Seven Arms
When Su Yang woke up again, he found himself lying on his bed with all the little monsters gathered around his bedside, looking at him with concern. He didn’t have the usual symptoms like a weak body, sore limbs or feeling extremely thirsty like in TV dramas. Instead, he felt incredibly comfortable and energetic.
He looked at Little Deeny standing in front of him and asked, “What’s wrong with me?”
Little Deeny looked toward the bedside table. Su Yang followed Little Dee’s gaze and saw the hourglass standing quietly on the bedside table.
Little Deeny’s voice sounded in his ear, “Sanque said that you’re mentally in great trouble. There’s a high probability that this hourglass caused it.”
Su Yang picked up the hourglass, which was lying quietly in his hand, Su Yang checked the system description of the hourglass and it didn’t show any other abnormalities. However... It seemed like every time he used the hourglass, the hourglass would flicker with a red light.
Su Yang raised his head and asked, “Is there a problem with the hourglass?”
Sanque crouched in the flower pot next to Deeny, it seemed a little wilted, and it said slowly, “Yes and no. The hourglass itself is fine, but there may be some problems with its function.”
“Memories are mysterious things, and if you casually check other people’s memories, you’ll be easily affected by those memories. Before, you didn’t have an abnormality because you rarely used it, so it wasn’t a big problem, but in the past few days, you’ve used it close to 10 times in a row, and it’s putting you in danger.”
Sanque extended a hand and explained, “Any item that is taken in large doses is never good for the body. Drinking too much water also can be toxic. That’s why it’s normal for your body to be affected if you watch memories too much.”
Sanque looked at Su Yang, “You’ve been mentally unstable, irritable, decrepit, pessimistic, and single-mindedly seeking revenge for Wang Shan, this is largely influenced by it.”
After saying that, Sanque closed its eyelids and said leisurely, “Because of this, I’ve lost an arm.”
Little Deeny whispered in Su Yang’s ear, “Sanque cut off one of his own arms to save you.”
Su Yang looked at Sanque, “It still has two arms.’
Deeny whispered again, “We all just found out that it has six hidden inside. That’s why it has eight hands when it transforms.”
Su Yang nodded, so now... There will only be seven hands when Sanque transforms?
Looking at Sanque, Su Yang’s heart warmed...
Gru crawled onto Su Yang’s bed, his hand slowly grew longer, then touched Su Yang’s head. The big eyes were all worried, and even the tone of its voice became a whisper, “Gru...”
Su Yang touched its face, there was a kind of wooden smoothness, as if it had been sanded, coughing, “There, there, don’t worry, I’m really fine.”
After saying that, Su Yang hugged Gru and said to the little monsters, “Alright, I’m fine. Everyone, let’s disperse. Thank you all for your concern!”
Gru was worried, and the other little monsters in the house were obviously worried too. So even though Su Yang had given his word, they still didn’t want to leave. Even Little Hus who was always fond of fooling around, didn’t pull out any tricks of mischief and looked at Su Yang worriedly.
Su Yang had to comfort them one by one.
After spending a full half hour to finally coax them away, Su Yang felt as tired as if he had fought a battle!
Despite feeling tired, Su reacted suddenly. ‘Huh? I think I’m the one who’s sick.’
‘Why did I have to coax them to leave when I’m the one in bed?’
It was just like the saying went, “Visitors who came to visit patients in the hospital end up occupying the hospital bed, whereas the patient ends up standing by the bedside.”
After throwing up, Su Yang looked at Little Deeny and Sanque who were still in the room. Then, he sat back down on the bed. “Say it. Is there some bad news?”
It’s always played out this way in TV dramas. Everything would seem fine in front of the family but as soon as the family left, the protagonist would learn that he was either afflicted with a terminal disease or had some kind of after effect afflicting him.
That was what Su Yang thought but Deeny shook her head in confusion. “No, there isn’t anything like that. You’re all healed. You drank Sanque’s lost arm that was mixed in a cup of water.”
Saying that, Sanque straightened both arms and five arms stuck out from behind it, two on the left and three on the right.
It really was missing an arm... Su Yang felt a little happy but coughed to cover up his joy before he asked, “Then why didn’t this mental illness of mine get treated when I drank ginseng water previously?”.
Sanque replied, “You had several injuries on your body at the same time so I’m sure it treated those on the surface first.”
“Do you think a few centimeters of ginseng will help with that mental problem of yours?”
Su Yang felt like it made sense as he flipped the hourglass in his hand upside down and asked, “So I won’t be able to use the hourglass from now on?”
Sanque shook its head. “It can be used. However, be careful with how often you use it. Don’t use it frequently or else... I’ve only got eight hands.” After saying that, Sanque slowly closed its eyes. The look it gave Su Yang was like one a son would give after resigning to his fate.
Su Yang was embarrassed.
After chatting with the two “doctors” for a while, Su Yang got up and drank some water with Little Deeny’s help before going to the villa’s courtyard.
Since the mental abnormality seemed to have been fixed, he felt more relaxed and was more like his original, comical, and relaxed self.
Looking at the few little monster beans that were chasing a ball in the villa courtyard, Su Yang casually asked, “How many little monster beans are left now?”
Deeny thought for a moment and replied, “There are 9 left.”
Su Yang counted, excluding the three little monster bean siblings working at the milk tea shop, along with No.17 and No.18 who had been insisting on living, there were only 4 other little monster beans left that hadn’t exploded and died.
None of the little monster beans survived death after they exploded...
Su Yang looked to the right side of the villa and saw Fatty plowing the ground. “Why don’t we plant another batch of small monster beans.”
Little Deeny looked to Su Yang.
Su Yang added, “Let’s not plant too many this time. Only five more to add to the original four who’re idle. Then, we’ll renumber them from 1 to 9.”
At this point, Su Yang asked, “By the way, what number are the ones from the milk tea shop?”
Little Deeny replied, “Those three little monster beans took their numbers off by themselves and asked Pool to buy some fabric. After working on it for half a month, he made three sets of little suits, and the little monster beans have been wearing those little suits every day.”
Su Yang nodded in agreement. “Then I won’t give them a number. Just number the rest i to 9 then.”
Su Yang nodded. “I know. However, I’ve checked it out and setting up a healthcare company seems quite tedious.”
Little Deeny nodded.
Su Yang looked at the pool on the left and continued, “And I know from Tang Dafa’s memories that there’s actually someone else plotting something against me. An enemy more powerful than Chen Ye and his father.”
“To be more specific, it’s something I’ll have to look into.”
“I’ll always feel uncomfortable if I don’t get rid of that person.”
“So, let’s put the healthcare company aside first and see if there’s a chance to discuss more about it. After all, Sanque is missing a hand and needs some time to rest.”
Little Deeny replied, “Actually, Master. I feel like the most important thing you should do is to get a Silver Point.”
Su Yang looked at Little Deeny. As a pseudo-AI that had been developing for three or four months, Little Deeny’s advice was still very important.
Little Deeny looked at Su Yang’s expectant eyes and said, “After all, no matter what powers or wealth you own, it’s ultimately something that can appear and disappear at a whim. If you encounter danger or if you’re in a desperate situation, the only power that belongs to you... One that stems from within yourself is the only, truly, reliable thing.”
Su Yang thought about it and felt that it made sense..
At the same time in Shanghai, 88th floor of Jinmao Tower, Young Master Ying was standing before the glass window of his office, overlooking the entire Shanghai and Huangpu River as he contemplated something.
Although his face was expressionless, his heart was just like the river in front of him. The recent series of events were simply too appalling.
First, the entire internet erupted with negative news of Chen Ye, followed by Tang Dafa’s surrender. Then, public opinion erupted for the second time, and many forces in Shanghai fueled it, so Chen Ye and Chen Dinghua was arrested.
Before Young Master Ying and his father could react, everything had settled down. This made Young Master Ying ‘s father, who had a close relationship with Chen Dinghua, incomparably passive.
In hindsight, the cause of all this was actually because of the death of two college girls?
Young Master Ying felt that it was a travesty!
Unlike Chen Ye, Young Master Ying was trained as a successor and he had many experiences learning from his father’s daily work and matters so he didn’t believe at all that these events unfolded without the hidden hand of an insider.
‘What did two ordinary college students have to do with Chen Dinghua’s dark secrets? If those two girls were capable of getting the dirt on Chen Dinghua, they wouldn’t have gone to accompany Chen Ye and ended up getting raped by him!’ Young Master Ying was puzzled as to what the problem was in this matter.
It was only until later that he learned that Su Yang had gone to the detention center and met Tang Dafa. The next day, Tang Da went crazy, and shortly before that, Chen Ye also went crazy. Young Master Ying couldn’t help but feel that there was a connection.
Some things could never be imagined without investigating them but if you do, you’ll perceive traces of it.
Following Su Yang’s clues, Young Master Ying found that the Longteng Jiayuan incident broke out just after Tang Dafa and Su Yang had a conflict in public. At that time, the first wave of online public opinion attacks saw the [Find Me App) as one of the front-line soldiers,, pushing out relevant content on a large scale. Some of the forces in Shanghai also made a move to bring down Chen Dinghua at precisely this time.]
It was all too coincidental!
Although he didn’t know how Su Yang did it, Young Master Ying was still covered in cold sweat because he felt that Su Yang’s tactics were too cunning and too ruthless. Having a dispute with Tang Dafa, not directly confronting him, and uprooting the person backing Tang Dafa without saying a word!
Who else was capable of this cunning and ruthless method?
Since he knew some of the details of the Longteng incident, Young Master Ying even tried to imagine a possibility that “the Longteng incident was all deliberately arranged by Su Yang”. Two college girls were knocked unconscious and pushed into a lake by who? It was Su Yang! For what? To plant evidence!
Every time he imagined this, Young Master Ying got chills all over. This was just too cruel. Too cruel!
Su Yang wasn’t only ruthless, but he also had a very powerful background! Without lifting a finger, he was able to manipulate a bunch of people in Shanghai to spontaneously take the lead and f*ck over Chen Dinghua. Those people even said they received insider information and didn’t stand to gain anything from it! Who would believe it?!
They claimed no one would benefit from it so they openly helped in screwing over Chen Dinghua! So, after standing in front of the glass window for a full five minutes, Young Master Ying made up his mind. “I can’t make an enemy out of this guy. I need him as a friend!”
Meanwhile, Su Yang was also at home mulling over the bronze point after secretly listing Young Master Ying as his enemy.
