Chapter 742 - I’m Not That Kind Of Person
Su Yang was facing the window, so he could clearly see his secretary, Pan Zhaodi, his new assistant, Jia Xiaoqian, and the employee of the bank’s credit department, Tong Bingqing, walking out happily.
From the looks of it, they had just finished their business discussion and were planning to go home.
At that moment, all the good mood and warmth that Su Yang had felt that night disappeared. All Su Yang could think of was a groundhog screaming in his head.
‘Ahhhh! Why haven’t they left yet?
‘Are they chatterboxes?
‘The two of us have already gone through several positions... Pui, dating events after we’ve confirmed our relationship. Yet, they’ve just finished their conversation?’
At that moment, Su Yang’s heart was filled with thousands of curses.
‘How am I going to answer if my girlfriend sees that there are three women at my home on the same day of my confession?
‘I...
‘Would rather die.’
Just as he was about to go crazy, the three women happened to see Su Yang right in the nick of time.
As the three of them stood still, Pan Zhaodi nodded slightly at Su Yang, Jia Xiaoqian smiled at Su Yang and bowed, while Tong Bingqing, who had been trying to get closer to Su Yang, waved her hand.
Hence, Su Yang had an ominous feeling in his heart. ‘Could those two people be so polite as to say goodbye to their Master as well?
On the other hand, women were always sensitive beings. Thus, when Chu Xia’s boyfriend, who had been talking and laughing a moment ago, suddenly turned to look out the window and stopped talking, she found his behaviour abnormal.
Hence, she looked at Su Yang curiously and followed his gaze to see what was going on.
Then, at that very moment, Su Yang hugged Chu Xia and kissed her.
“Mmm, mmm.” Chu Xia was caught off guard by Su Yang’s forceful kiss. Hence, her eyes widened and her hands waved around helplessly.
But gradually, her body softened and she was immersed in Su Yang’s passionate kiss. As for what was outside the window, she had no time to think about it.
At that moment, Su Yang did not dare to not think about it. As he kissed Chu Xia, his hands were waving behind Chu Xia’s back.
On the other hand, the three other women were no fools. The moment they saw this scene, they wanted to criticise him. Then, they knew that it was inconvenient for Su Yang to communicate with them, so they quickly left.
In fact, even the cold-faced Pan Zhaodi was walking quickly.
After a long while, their lips parted and Chu Xia said shyly, “What’s going on with you...”
Su Yang looked out of the window and heaved a sigh of relief. “Oh, it’s nothing. I just wanted to do that.”
Hearing this, Chu Xia blushed like cherry blossoms blooming in May and had long forgotten about what was happening outside the window...
After packing up, Su Yang brought Chu Xia back to her room. Then, he used [Hands Of Fate] and went to a secluded corner near Chu Xia’s house.
After confirming that there were no cameras or pedestrians around, Su Yang carried Chu Xia as he deactivated his ability.
To Su Yang, it might have been a long time, but to Chu Xia, she felt as though she was still in Su Yang’s room a second ago and the next second, she had already arrived back in her house in Su Yang’s arms.
So, this new feeling was amazing to her. ‘I never thought that I would be able to experience teleportation one day.’
As it was almost time for Chu Xia’s curfew, the two could not chat anymore. Therefore, Su Yang sent Chu Xia to her apartment and watched her go upstairs before leaving Chu Xia’s neighborhood.
After returning to the secluded corner and ensuring that there was no one around, Su Yang used [Hands Of Fate] once again to return to his villa.
After returning to the villa, Su Yang laid on the bed and recalled everything that happened between him and Chu Xia. ‘It all feels like a dream.
‘Even though there was a certain atmosphere and Chu Xia’s “coercion” today, I’m certain that my love for Chu Xia is real.
‘So no matter what the reason is, since we’re already together, I should’nt let this good girl down.
‘Maybe I should really... Settle down.’
At that thought, Su Yang suddenly heard a “Ding Dong”, indicating that it was a notification from WeChat.
Thus, Su Yang picked up the glass phone and took a look. ‘It’s Chu Xia.’
‘Mushi, mushi. Are you asleep?’
Looking at Chu Xia’s text, Su Yang seemed to have imagined that the cute girl was still beside him. So, he got up and typed. ‘Not yet.’
‘By the way, Su Yang, I’ve got a question I want to ask you.’
‘What is it?’
‘Do you like milk tea or Chu?”
Su Yang looked at the screen and replied with uncertainty. ‘Milk tea, I guess...’
‘(`Д ́*) You big dummy... Shouldn’t you ask me what’s Chu first?’
Su Yang, who was lying on the bed, scratched his head and replied. ‘Alright then, ask me again.’
‘( ͡ᴖ ͜ʖ ͡ᴖ) Then, let me ask you, do you like milk tea or Chu?”
‘What’s Chu?’
Chu Xia became speechless.
At that moment, Chu Xia was lying on the bed in her cute pajamas. She was so angry that she cried out in a low voice. Her cute little feet were kicking the bed as if she was kicking the annoying yet invisible Su Yang!
In fact, she was trying to flirt with Su Yang. Ideally, when she asked Su Yang that question and Su Yang asked her back what Chu was, Chu Xia would then be able to say that it was her name, and Su Yang would then make his choice.
In the end... ‘Su Yang’s such a straightforward guy! It’s infuriating!’
At that thought, Chu Xia didn’t want to talk to Su Yang anymore. ‘Su Yang, you bad person, I should beat you to death!’
That night, Su Yang indeed did not receive Chu Xia’s WeChat message anymore. Hence, this made him confused. ‘What’s happened? Have I asked the wrong question? Weren’t you the one who asked me to ask what Chu is?
‘Women are so strange...
‘A Woman in love, even stranger!’
Hence, Su Yang, who had not received a reply for a long time, browsed through his WeChat Moments out of boredom. At that moment, his recent post on his WeChat Moments had received many likes. Perhaps it was because he did not say it explicitly, everyone ended up being curious and started making guesses.
Some suspected that Su Yang was in love, some suspected that Su Yang was in a relationship, and someone even guessed that... Su Yang was trying to get involved in the real estate business.
‘Hmm, how did he come to this conclusion? I’m curious... My poem didn’t mention anything about real estate at all!
‘Could it be that everything can be related to real estate?’
After Su Yang finished reading his own Moments, he returned to browse through his friends’ Moments to see what his friends were doing.
Unexpectedly, the first post was from Chu Xia.
Although Chu Xia did not directly reply to his WeChat message, she posted on her own WeChat Moments instead.
‘I’ve witnessed the most beautiful spring I’ve ever seen. The rain soaked everything to the brim, and then the sun slowly shone on the ground. There was also a light breeze blowing, and there were sparkles everywhere, making everything just right. However, the best thing was when I asked you if you loved spring or not?
‘Then, you told me that you don’t love this spring, you only love me.’
As students of a liberal arts college, both Su Yang and Chu Xia were able to explain how literary men and women used words to hint and confess to one another.
‘Sometimes, not only is an ambiguous relationship beautiful, such a time when two people who are in love use beautiful words hidden in sentences is beautiful as well...’
Thus, the night passed uneventfully. Su Yang and Chu Xia fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
The next morning, Su Yang woke up to find that Chu Xia had replied to his WeChat message. However, it had nothing to do with the topic yesterday. ‘Have you spoken to your loved one today?’
This WeChat message was clearly a coquettish message or a hint that it was time for Su Yang to chat with her. However, Su Yang gave a different reply. ‘Yes.’
On the other end of the phone, Chu Xia asked with a puzzled expression, ‘What did you say?’
‘Yes. What about you?’
Chu Xia immediately understood and a sweet smile appeared on her face. ‘What did you say.’
The two of them smiled at each other on the other end of the phone at the same time since they knew that the other understood what they meant and they understood each other’s feelings. After that, they put down their phones and went back to their own business.
Su Yang was very busy that day. Other than settling the structural deposit with Jia Xiaoqian, he also had to deal with Juduoduo, whose business was developing very fast recently, but they seemed to have encountered some trouble.
Therefore, Su Yang asked Little Deeny to send a message to Jia Xiaoqian after he got off his phone.
As Su Yang’s new assistant, after hearing Su Yang’s call, Jia Xiaoqian rushed to Su Yang’s house.
Under Pan Zhaodi’s welcome, she arrived before Su Yang.
After last night’s ordeal, Su Yang had obviously matured. Pointing at the sofa, he said to Jia Xiaoqian, “Have a seat.”
Jia Xiaoqian obediently sat down and Su Yang then asked, “Did you come to some agreement after last night?”
Nodding her head, Jia Xiaoqian took out a document from the folder she was carrying and passed it to Su Yang.
Then, Su Yang took it and read through it while listening to Jia Xiaoqian’s explanation. “At first, they provided us with two modes. One is more conservative, while the other is more risky.
“For the conservative one. Because of the large amount of money we have, we can achieve about 5% annualization. On top of that, our capital will not suffer any losses since everything will be done conservatively.”
“As for the one with a higher risk, it would depend on the final profitability of the product chosen. The estimated range is between 15% to 40%. However, if they encounter a problem, there is a possibility that our capital would be lost.”
Su Yang skimmed through the information and looked at Jia Xiaoqian. “What do you think?”
“I’m not very satisfied with both of them. I think the former’s profit expectations are too low and the latter has too huge of a risk that doesn’t fit your definition of the purpose of the structural deposit.
“You previously told me that this money is mainly used to develop the company. Thus, although it might not be used in the short term, it will definitely be used over the long term. So, we shouldn’t be looking at this sum of money in the sense of how it could be financially managed, but its liquidity.”
Following that, Jia Xiaoqian explained her definition of how the sum of money should be handled in detail, as well as her and Tong Bingqing’s final decision regarding this matter.
Su Yang would expect to receive an annualized yield of 12%, the principal plus 6% interest rate is within the range of bank guarantees, with a minimum annual interest rate of 6% and a full guarantee without any loss.
Other than that, the interest would be calculated monthly. That would be 0.5% to 1% per month. Then, when Su Yang needed money, the bank would need to transfer the capital within 10 days for Su Yang to use. However, the interest accumulated from before could not be recovered.
When Su Yang heard this condition, he felt... ‘This is... Amazing.
‘This annualized income may not be particularly high, but it’s very flexible. Furthermore, most of the terms involved are leaning towards me.’
At that thought, Su Yang curiously asked, “Has Tong Bingqing’s side agreed to these terms?
After all, these conditions are very steep, so It wouldn’t be good for her promotion, would it?”
In Su Yang’s opinion, banks were not charitable organizations. Hence, they would definitely offer a lot of benefits if they received a large sum of money as a deposit. However, this sum would have to be stored with the bank over the long term for the benefits to be in place. Otherwise, if it were short term, the benefits would be substantially reduced.
Therefore, this condition that Su Yang had just heard was not worthwhile for the bank.
Moreover, although Mr. Kong’s mission to Tong Bingqing was for her to obtain these few hundred million of yuan to be placed as a structural deposit, there was definitely a bottom line and requirement.
For example, Tong Bingqing using 1% of the annualized earnings to get these deposits was completely different from her using 100% of the annualized earnings to get these deposits.
If it was the former, she would become a legendary existence within the bank, effectively earning the latter tens of millions of yuan for it. However, if it was the latter... She would probably get beaten up by the bank.
Hence, Su Yang’s suspicions were reasonable.
When Su Yang brought up this topic, Jia Xiaoqian could not help but laugh as she said, “This is indeed detrimental to her promotion, but she still agreed.”
Su Yang was curious. “How did you convince her?”
Jia Xiaoqian said, “Isn’t her promotion and salary raise all about money? So, we could just give her money. So, by offering her better terms than the bank could, I directly offered her a 10% interest to obtain her support..
“As for how she’s going to split the interest on her side, that’s her business. So, the rest would depend on how she fights for us.”
Su Yang became speechless after he heard this.
‘Is this woman a genius or a criminal. Why does she feel so different from her originally naive character?’
Following that, Jia Xiaoqian continued to report the details of her conversation with Tong Bingqing last night.
Thus, Su Yang also understood why Tong Bingqing left so happily last night. ‘I’d be happy too if I’m the one receiving millions of yuan for free.
‘After all, I’m the person who had to cheat my own teacher off 22 yuan a year ago.’
At the end of the conversation, Jia Xiaoqian took out a piece of paper from her pocket and passed it to Su Yang. “Also, Mr. Su, Tong Bingqing said that her deal with you is still valid. So. as long as you need it, she will be at your beck and call.”
Su Yang was speechless.
He raised his head to look at Pan Zhaodi, who stood at the side with no expression on her face like a robot. He then looked at Jia Xiaoqi, who was looking at the sky as the corner of her lips was holding in her laughter, like she was trying to imply that she did not see anything that night at all, so don’t kill her.
Hence, Su Yang felt a headache...
Thus, he rubbed a piece of note with one hand and tossed it into the trash can. “Stop joking around, I’m not that kind of person.
“Plus, I already have a girlfriend.”
At the same time, when Su Yang was asking about his structural savings, what he did not know was that in a private WeChat group chat, there was a conversation about him.
Someone with a transparent profile picture texted. ‘Did you guys find anything?’
Another person with a child’s profile picture texted. ‘I found something... Very strange. What about you?’
The person with the transparent profile picture replied. ‘I’ve looked up a lot of information on him, and I feel that something’s very wrong here...’
