After both parties had confirmed their intention to purchase, the district began to proceed with the procedures.
Initially, Su Yang was worried that he did not have any cash on hand and would only be able to buy the land next month. However, the district assured him that Su Yang’s company was now receiving support and could enjoy low interest rate loans.
As long as Su Yang took out a certain amount of collateral and mortgaged it to the bank, he would be able to borrow the money required to buy the land. After the transaction of the land was completed, Su Yang could amend the collateral and mortgage the land to the bank instead.
After all, the market value of that piece of land was more than a few times that of what Su Yang paid for. Furthermore, it was a solid collateral, so there would not be any problems with the bank.
It was only then that Su Yang realized how satisfying it was to work with the government. ‘No wonder so many companies are developing so quickly, they’re probably doing the same thing as I am right now.’
While the district got on with the procedures, Su Yang was also free for the time being. It just so happened that 2 weeks ago, Wu Feng had been looking for Su Yang to discuss the issue of the post-production for “Wolf Warriors”. Therefore, Su Yang boarded the plane and flew to Lingnan to talk to Wu Feng about the issue.
After the last 2 weeks of intense filming, “Wolf Warriors” was finally completed on the second last day of October!
When Su Yang arrived at the filming site, the movie was filming the final special effect scene, the scene where the wolf pack attacks Wu Feng.
In the past 2 months, the special effects studio was done designing the camera lens and props. Su Yang had reviewed them and thought that the special effects were all pretty good, far beyond the special effects that Wu Feng was expecting.
‘However, now that I’m looking at it live... Yeap, it’s horrendous.
‘Frankly, the problem doesn’t lie with the special effects, it’s actually the pre-production stages of the filming that is boring and miserable.
‘Based on the designs of the special effects, a group of live wolves were supposed to pounce onto Wu Feng’s group and attack Wu Feng himself. However, during the pre-production shoot, it’s actually a little man in a green suit who rushes out carrying a fake wolf model with various equipment and pushes himself towards Wu Feng. Then, Wu Feng fights with the model for half an hour before the scene is done.
‘The reason for this is because the special effects team were to use this as a fixed point during the post-production.’
Anyway, after Su Yang watched that boring shoot, “Wolf Warriors” was officially completed.
After Su Yang finished the wrap party and confirmed the requirements of the special effects with Wu Feng, he brought the employees back to Shanghai.
After returning to Shanghai, Su Yang held a meeting with the film company and unhesitatingly activated his [Film And Television Post Production Ability].
With that additional effect, the speed and quality of the special effects would be greatly improved. The studio had originally planned to have to work on it for about 3 months, but with the special effect, they would end up only requiring 1.5 months to complete the job.
After helping to sort out the entire project, Su Yang left the company after seeing that everyone was working happily.
On the way, Su Yang looked at the gray sky and felt a little tired.
Su Yang did not know if it was because of the late autumn or because he had been busy with work recently, but he felt a little tired.
‘If only... there’s an island for me to take a vacation on.
‘I have no idea when my island can be resolved. I’ve already gotten my passport, but the island is still being processed.
‘Since I can’t go to my island for a vacation, I suppose I can only find some other methods to adjust my mood.
‘What’s the best cure? Listening to music? Reading books? No... Adding points.’
With that thought, Su Yang opened the system shop and took a look.
[Random Point]*3
[Bronze Point]*0
[Guardian Talisman]*0
[Random Prize Voucher]: Empty
[Lucky Stone]: 47
It was the new week and the system store had been refreshed. After Su Yang bought a [Random Point] on Monday, he did not continue to buy anymore. The recipe item was a +2 item which had a refresh timer of 2 weeks, so there was no new recipe item that week.
Su Yang looked at the remaining 47 [Lucky Stones] and [Random Points].
Su Yang pondered for a moment. ‘Is it time for me to add a point for Gru, Dagger Girl and the others?
‘Ever since the system became +3, I have only added a point for Little Deeny and Little Hus, that’s all. According to the voting results, the second monster was supposed to be Gru, followed by Dagger Girl.
‘Since I’m not in a good mood today, I’ll add points for them then! Perhaps that’ll cheer me up!’
With that thought, Su Yang jogged home.
When he reached home, Tang Jing and Tang Xiaomi were both at home as well. Tang Jing sat there, breathing heavily. Tang Xiaomi stood with her head lowered. ‘This unlucky child’s being scolded.’
“How many times has mommy told you?! You can’t make such a mess of the house. Why won’t you listen?!” Tang Jing seemed to be really angry.
Tang Xiaomi lowered her head and pouted. She said aggrievedly, “I didn’t do it.”
Tang Jing said angrily, “Besides you, there’s no one else in the house. Who else could have done this?!”
Tang Xiaomi felt aggrieved and remained silent.
When Tang Jing saw Tang Xiaomi’s silence, she became even angrier. “You’ve even learned how to lie now! Xiaomi, are you trying to drive me mad?”
The rims of Tang Xiaomi’s eyes turned red. Tears rolled down her cheeks like pearls. However, she pouted and remained silent.
When Su Yang saw that, he quickly pushed the door open and smiled. “What’s wrong? What are you doing? What are you arguing about?”
When Tang Jing saw that Su Yang had returned, an awkward expression appeared on her face. She had always been gentle in front of Su Yang and did not want him to see her like this.
As for Tang Xiaomi, she seemed to have found someone who would be able to support her. Hence, she ran to Su Yang’s side in tears and threw herself into his embrace. “Su Yang, Mommy bullied me!” (T ^ T)
Su Yang quickly bent down and picked her up. He patted her back and comforted her. “Xiaomi, be a good girl and stop crying, you’re not aggrieved.”
Tang Xiaomi was already 6 or 7 years old at the time, hence she was actually a little heavy. However, Su Yang had a rather good physique, so he could still carry her. As he comforted Tang Xiaomi, he smiled and said to Tang Jing, “Sister Tang, why are you back so early today?”
Tang Jing said awkwardly, “It’s going to be the end of the year soon. There aren’t many things to do, so I’ve taken leave today.”
Su Yang carried Tang Xiaomi to the sofa and sat down. Then, he carried her down and wiped her tears while asking Tang Jing, “What happened just now? Did Xiaomi cause some trouble?”
At the mention of that, Tang Jing got angry again. “I came back earlier today, so I didn’t see her on the first floor. When I reached the second floor, I pushed the door open and saw that the bedroom was in a mess. There were things everywhere. This girl has taken the opportunity of my absence from the house and was jumping around on the bed like she was completely mad.”
Tang Xiaomi pouted and was about to cry again, hence Su Yang comforted her and said, “Xiaomi, be a good girl now, go back to the second floor and tidy up your room. Don’t make Mommy angry.”
Tang Xiaomi looked at Su Yang with an aggrieved expression on her face. Su Yang gave her a look before she finally understood what was going on. She quickly covered her mouth and slipped away.
As she slipped away, she did not forget to take away the wooden doll on the sofa...
After Tang Xiaomi left, Tang Jing looked at her back lovingly and said to Su Yang, “You’re spoiling her too much.”
Su Yang said, “She’s still young, you’ll be fine by slowly teaching her instead of constantly criticizing her. Besides, I’ve already asked her to go back and tidy up her mess.”
Tang Jing was a little embarrassed as she said, “I was just feeling anxious. We’re already borrowing your house for us to stay, so if we mess up your room, we’ll really be causing you too much trouble.”
Then, Su Yang waved his hand. “It’s fine. You and Xiaomi can just treat this as your home.”
Su Yang then said, “Alright, I’ll head up and check up on Xiaomi.”
Tang Jing nodded. “I’ll go cook then.”
Su Yang took a look at the time. It was already 6 pm and it was indeed time for dinner. However, he still wanted to add points for Gru and the rest, so Su Yang said, “Sister Tang, I have something on tonight, so I won’t be coming out for dinner. Just leave some food for me please.”
Tang Jing opened her mouth at first and seemed like she wanted to advise against him, but in the end, she did not say anything. Instead, she merely nodded gently. “Alright then. Do remember to come out and eat your dinner as early as you can.”
Su Yang agreed.
Then, he went upstairs to Tang Jing’s room. When he pushed open the door, Gru had already transformed into a Tiny Treant and was waving its branches to clean up the room.
When she saw Su Yang coming in, Tang Xiaomi pounced on him. Tears welled up in her eyes as she sobbed and complained about her grievances. “Su Yang! T.T, I really didn’t do it. I told Woody and Dagger Sister not to play around, but they won’t listen to me. Sob...”
Then, Su Yang hugged her and comforted her for a long time before she stopped crying.
‘This is the first time this girl has been misunderstood, yet she couldn’t tell the truth. Obviously, she’s extremely aggrieved.
‘However, even though she’s been so wrongly accused, according to her, she still did not tell about the little monsters. Well, this shows that I wasn’t wrong to trust the little girl.’
In the end, Su Yang promised her that he would give her another Lesser Quickgold Monster before he finally managed to pacify her.
After instructing Gru to clean up the room, Su Yang brought Gru and Dagger Girl, who were quietly pretending to be dolls, back to the virtual space.
When they arrived at the virtual space, Su Yang was in no hurry to add points for them. Instead, he asked the both of them, “Come here, let’s have a chat. What did you 2 do?”
Gru said, “Gru, Gru Gru...”
‘Hm, I can’t understand at all.’
Dagger Girl revealed a pitiful expression and said in a coquettish voice, “I’m sorry, Brother Su Yang... Brother Gru and I were a little bored, so we wanted to transform and play. Sister Xiaomi didn’t want us to play, but we didn’t listen...”
Unlike Tang Jing, Su Yang was not a person who would criticize others before he knew the whole story. Hence, he asked, “Then, do you think that it’s right for you to play around?”
Dagger Girl hesitated. “It’s... wrong, I suppose,” she continued to say.”But we didn’t feel that there was anything wrong with it at the time. We just wanted to play.”
Su Yang patted her head. He felt that he needed to be as patient with the little monsters as though he were educating a child. He had to slowly build up their moral values and virtues.
So, he said, “Then in the future, if Sister Xiaomi doesn’t let you do something, will you be able to listen to her?”
Su Yang felt that he was guiding Dagger Girl well enough. However, Dagger Girl hesitated for a moment before shaking her head. “No. I don’t want to listen to Sister Xiaomi.”
Su Yang was shocked. “Why?”
Dagger Girl seemed to wonder about her own behavior, too. She thought about it for a moment, then said, “I don’t know... Maybe it just feels like we should just do what we want, without having to listen to anyone else.”
Su Yang was confused. “Then, why do you listen to me?”
Dagger Girl shook her head slowly. “I’m not sure too... Anyway, it seems like we would like to listen to you from the bottom of our hearts, but we refuse to listen to others.”
Su Yang furrowed his brows and fell into deep thought...
‘Something seems off.
‘Only listening to myself and shutting off anyone else’s opinion... It sounds like both sides of the extreme.
‘What’s going on?
‘Could it be that the little monsters’ original nature is to be naive and unrestrained, hence explaining why they dislike listening to other people’s orders?
‘However, because I’m the person who added points for them, so they think of me as their family emotionally. Or perhaps, the system has given them some kind of restriction, causing them to listen to my instructions?
‘Or perhaps this has something to do with Dagger Girl’s personality?’
Su Yang thought about it and felt that he had to pay attention to this matter and find out what the reason was.
However, the most important thing at that moment was not to study the personalities of the little monsters, but to add some points for the 2 little monsters. Hence, Su Yang stopped his thoughts and said, “Alright, since you 2 don’t understand your own thoughts, let’s not talk about such a weird topic for now.”
“Come, I plan to add a point for the 2 of you right now.”
