Deeny clearly thinks of this fat rabbit as her own daughter, as she shot a lot of scenes involving the rabbit.
The rabbit sat on the ground in the yard eating cabbage alone while Deeny filmed it for almost half an hour. ‘I don’t know what’s so great about eating a cabbage.’
Then the fat rabbit slowly crawled up from the ground when it heard Little Dee’s greetings, and its pair of small short hands lifted its stomach like how people lifted their pants.
Suddenly, its belly fluctuated like a wave, bouncing...
Su Yang covered his own eyes and couldn’t bring himself to look at this. ‘It was so cringy!
‘Filming something like this wouldn’t ruin the Monsters Family series, would it?’
Su Yang was a little worried.
However... He had time now so he decided to finish up the post-editing for the video himself and save the monster family!
Thinking this way, Su Yang didn’t intend to leave and simply went to the study. Then, he took out the [Small bench that refuses to eat melons] and moved it to the villa entrance.
Finding a spot where he could see Little Deeny shooting, Su Yang put down the bench, then patted his butt and sat on it.
After sitting on it, Su Yang had a bit of a different feeling. ‘Why is this bench so small?’
Feeling like he had to curl up his butt to sit down, to the point where half of his bottom was exposed, Su Yang moved his butt to make himself as comfortable as possible.
When he adjusted his position, a small box of melon seeds, half a watermelon, a small bucket of popcorn and a bottle of Fat Nerd Merry Drink automatically appeared under his feet.
Because it was the first time he used the ability of this special item, Suo Yang didn’t know anything about these things either. He picked up the items one by one and tried them out, and yes... It was all true!
Finally, he picked up the bottle of Fat Nerd Merry Drink, and sheesh~ it was actually cold!
In the middle of summer, with a chilled bottle of Fat Nerd Merry Drink in hand, life couldn’t be more perfect!
Opening the bottle cap, Su Yang took a sip of ice-cold Fat Nerd Merry Drink. The bubbles exploded in his mouth and the feeling simply cooled his body. ‘Ah... This penetrating cold really sends the heart flying!’
After drinking the Fat Nerd Merry Drink, Su Yang picked up the melon, then ate it while watching Little Dee shoot.
Little Deeny was a kind of AI, and she was now learning increasingly more AI skills exceedingly fast. In just a short two weeks, her short video shooting skills improved amazingly, to the point where Su Yang was even dazzled by it. At times, the camera would circle the fat rabbit and other times, the camera would pan over the top from a distance. Su Yang got dizzy just from watching her.
After a while, Little Hus furtively came over. He didn’t notice Su Yang and seemed really casual, not doing anything in particular.
Su Yang casually handed it a handful of melon seeds. “Want some?”
Little Hus was shocked. “Since when were you here?”
Su Yang looked at it. “I’ve been here all along.”
After looking at Su Yang and then at the melon seeds, Little Hus hesitated and then accepted them.
It took the melon seeds, then threw them to the ground, stepped hard on it to immediately crack the shells before picking them up one by one. It used its pillowy edges to pick along the cracks to open them.
Picking out the melon kernels, its little pillow edges sends the melon into the patterns on its pillowy body so it couldn’t get them in no matter how hard it tried.
After a while, it resigned itself to its fate, and handed the handful of melon seeds to Su Yang after picking them apart.
Su Yang didn’t mind since the ground was clean anyway. So, he took the melon seeds and ate them.
Naturally... Something that was peeled by others for him was exceptionally fragrant.
Little Hus looked at Su Yang sideways as he ate the melon seeds one by one, and gulped as it asked, “Is it good?”
Su Yang looked at it and nodded. “It’s especially fragrant.”
Little Hus gulped again, looked at the melon seeds in Su Yang’s hand and smacked his lips. “Mmm... I don’t know what the melon seeds taste like. It should... It must smell better than roasted chicken.” Saying that, it gulped again.
Su Yang was amused by it. “Spoken as if you’ve eaten roast chicken.”
Little Hus was unconvinced. “I’ve never eaten it! But I’ve smelled it!” Then its tone weakened. “But... This melon doesn’t even have a bit of smell to it...”
Su Yang patted its head, this poor little guy.
When Su Yang finished eating the melon seeds, Little Hus leaned in again. “Su Yang, can I ask you for something?”
Su Yang looked at it, he didn’t expect Little Hus to beg him for a favor, ever. “Go ahead.”
Ha said, a little embarrassed, “Can you give Janet an extra point the next time you get a random point?”
Su Yang hesitated for a moment, but the things he had discovered before had slowly transformed the little monster from “his own thing” to “his own family”, and in the face of a little brother’s request, Su Yang still couldn’t bear to refuse.
So he finally nodded his head. “Okay.”
After promising, Su Yang added, “But wait until I have a few extra points, I have a random point now, but I’d like to keep it as a backup.”
Little Hus nodded repeatedly, his face all happy. “It’s fine, it’s fine! Just add a point to it if you can!”
After being happy, the guy started to float, his two little horns touching as it looked up at the sky with a longing face. “I wish my Janet could have sentience! It’d be even better if it took human form! This way the two of us will be able to be a couple~ Haha.”
Su Yang laughed.
This dreamy little Hus definitely did not take after him.
After spitting out the shells, Su Yang continued to watch Little Deeny’s shoot. Little Hus, on the other hand, seemed like it had a surge of energy as it continued refilling melon seeds from the ones scattered on the ground before giving them to Su Yang after stepping on them and picking the shells. It was as if he had made picking melon seeds kernels into a “big business”!
‘Well... It’s good to have a boot licker.’
Meanwhile, in the General Manager’s Office at Dafa Gold Shop.
Tang Dafa sat behind the boss’ desk with his assistant leaning on him, while a spectacled man sat in front of the boss desk.
He pushed the information on the table to Tang Dafa and said, “Mr. Tang, I’ve already told you all the loopholes on this IOU, how to prove it all, and I’ve even explained how you can freeze his assets.”
He pushed his glasses on the bridge of his nose. “The only question left now is when you want to do it.”
Tang Dafa hugged the assistant and said, “When would you feel is a better time to do this?”
The man with the glasses replied, “It’s best to launch it at the point when he’s almost out of money but while he doesn’t have any short-term funds to mobilize. That’d be the best time to strike.”
The assistant said petulantly, “However, we don’t have any way to confirm when he’s going to spend all his money.”
The man with the glasses nodded. “We really have no way of knowing, but we can encourage him to spend the money on things like cars, houses, luxuries, women, games, etc., He’ll always have something he likes. Why don’t we just introduce these to him...”
Tang Dafa nodded thoughtfully.
Just as the three of them were chatting, suddenly loud noises came from outside the door, and a woman with a heavy Shanghainese accent yelled, “You guys, let me in! Why can’t I go in to see my own husband?!”
There was another boy who was trying hard to dissuade her. “No, lady boss, Mr Tang is discussing something and is in the middle of a conversation.”
The woman retorted in a gloomy voice, “Talking about business? I think he’s hooking up with a vixen!”
Hearing that woman’s voice, Tang Dafa’s face turned pale, and he immediately retracted his arm from around the assistant before winking to her.
The assistant gave him a flirtatious glance, then wiggled her waist and got up, going to the side.
A few seconds later, the door was pushed open with great force and a woman who looked very much like Tang Dafa and had an equally huge body rushed in.
As soon as she entered, she saw Tang Dafa and the man with glasses sitting on either side of the boss table, while the assistant was pouring water for both of them.
Upon seeing this scene, the woman froze in place.
Tang Dafa’s expression turned icy cold as he snapped at the woman at the door. “What are you doing! Don’t you know to act better when you’re in the shop?!”
As he said this, his heavy hand slapped the table. “Bang!” It made the assistant so fearful that her hands began to tremble while the woman at the door shivered even more.
The man with glasses took his glasses off, pulled out a piece of eyeglass cloth from his pocket, bowed his head and wiped it slowly as if he hadn’t seen or heard anything. However, his lips were curved in a mocking smile.
Tang Dafa pointed at the door and shouted at the fat lady, “Go home!”
The fat woman didn’t dare to say anything more as she turned around with an ugly expression and walked away without hesitation.
After the woman left, Tang waved a hand to signal to the assistant to close the door, as a smile was plastered all over his face once more. “Mr. Jia, sorry you had to see that. As for the matter at hand, thank you for the plan. Let’s hope it works.”
Mr. Jia put on his glasses and raised his head, putting a harmless smile back on his face. “Mr. Tang, you’re too polite. You pay, I plan. It’s only natural.”
After saying that, he put the glasses cloth back into his pocket and continued. “If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave first. Congratulations in advance for crushing that scum who owes you money.”
Tang Dafa smiled widely and stood up. “Let me see you out. I’ll see you out.”
In the evening, Su Yang finished his meal and was just about to go watch something on the television when he received a call from Tang Dafa.
For this big gold master who paid him 2 million and helped him through a difficult time, Su Yang liked him very much indeed.
He picked it up and said enthusiastically, “Brother Tang, where do you even find the time to call me? Is there something you need?”
Tang Dafa’s equally enthusiastic voice came from across the room. “Haiya, what are you saying? Can’t I call you even for no particular reason? I just missing you, buddy!”
Afterward, he paused. “Have you been busy lately, brother?”
Su Yang smiled and replied, “I’m fine. The company is on the right track, and I’m relatively more relaxed.”
Tang Dafa chuckled. “Oh... Then, do you want to meet up tomorrow? I see you’re lacking a car, my brother. You can’t run a company without a car!”
Su Yang smiled like a blooming flower. “Oops! Brother Tang, you just loaned me $2 million and now, you want to give me a car, that’s far too polite of you! No, really! I don’t even have a driver’s license, so I don’t want a car!”
Tang Dafa was stunned, and his expression froze. ‘He thought I was going to give him a car? What?’
However, he was a man of the world, and he could only deal with it awkwardly. “Ah, well, that’s unfortunate. Brother, remember to go learn how to drive when you have time.”
Su Yang enthusiastically promised. “No problem! No problem! I’ll definitely go learn to drive when I have the time.”
Hanging up the phone, Tang Dafa was a little skeptical of life. ‘Why would he think that I was about to give him a car? Good thing he doesn’t have a license...
‘No, he won’t buy a car if he doesn’t have a license...
‘It looks like the car route won’t work... Seems like we’ll have to find another way.’
And Su Yang, who hung up the phone, was all smiles as he shook his head and lamented, “This Tang Dafa is really too polite. He just lent me 2 million and now, he’s planning to give me a car.”
“What a nice man!”
Just as Su Yang was lamenting, Pool and Sanque returned from work.
With a flash of green light, the two of them appeared in the middle of the living room.
Su Yang saw Pool and beckoned, “Pool, come here for a moment.”
Pool was a little confused and put Sanque on the dining table before he came to Su Yang. “Master Su Yang, what’s up?”
Su Yang said, “Little Hus talked to me today and wanted me to give Janet an extra point so they can be lovers. Although... I can’t catch Janet, so I’ll need your help.”
“Can you catch Janet with a bubble just like you caught the squid?”
“Add a point to Janet?” When Pool heard this, his expression was first a little awkward before it turned into a strange one. “Master Su Yang, I hope you’ll consider this carefully. There’s... There might be some misunderstanding.”
