The house was brightly lit, not by plant-based light sources like the Fluorescent Cacti or lantern trees from Peach Blossom Base, but by actual electric lamps.
"Did you build a power plant here?" Ren Yuanyang asked curiously.
"We have a plan for one, but construction will take some time," Wang Jun replied with a nod. "For now, we’ve set up a few home generators for you. They’ll be more than enough for daily use! We have a dedicated team to maintain them."
Ren Yuanyang nodded slightly. "Thank you for your hard work."
"It’s our honor to do something for you, Master!" Wang Jun said, waving his hand dismissively.
The rooms here were quite spacious and fully equipped with all sorts of household necessities. The living conditions were indeed much better than at Peach Blossom Base.
The main reason was that the banyan trees here were more fortified than the ones over there. Their branches were more than twice as strong as those at Peach Blossom Base, allowing the trees at Dragon Base to be spaced further apart.
This created enough open space within the Banyan Forest to make it easier to construct various large factory buildings.
At Peach Blossom Base, the branches weren’t strong enough; they would easily break if stretched too far.
As a result, the Banyan Forest at Peach Blossom Base was much denser, which made construction difficult. They could only build small rooms inside it.
Additionally, Dragon Base was located in a Second-level Wind Sea Region, where external influences were weaker, making it easier for them to develop.
As the Banyan Forest continued to expand, the influence of the outside world on its interior would diminish even further.
After touring the five-story building, Ren Yuanyang said with a smile, "The conditions here are so good, I almost don’t want to go back!"
"Then you should stay here!" Ji Yizhi said with a smile, trying to persuade him.
Wang Jun nodded as well. "Master, if you prefer peace and quiet, I’ll have my men clear the surrounding area. No one will be allowed to come near and disturb you. As for Peach Blossom Base, we can just send someone to watch over things!"
"That’s right. We have plenty of space here, and most people are in the six outer Banyan Forests, so they won’t disturb you!" Wang Jun also assured him.
Ren Yuanyang nodded slightly. "Alright. In that case, you’ll need to build more houses around here. Enough for at least fifty people."
Ren Yuanyang planned to keep his initial followers—Lu Jiamei and her group, Jin Ziyu, Si Youqin, and a few others like Yu Ren—close by. Everyone else would be left for Wang Jun and his team to manage.
That way, everyone could free up a significant amount of time for Cultivation and increasing their Mental Energy.
’I can finally become a completely hands-off leader. Even though I was mostly hands-off before, there were still many matters that required my direct involvement in decision-making.’
’Wang Jun and his team have a complete management system, so I won’t have to worry about a thing.’
"Yes, Master, rest assured! We can have the houses built in three days at most!" Wang Jun immediately and happily replied.
Ren Yuanyang nodded slightly and asked casually, "When are you planning to move the Dragon Base survivors over?"
"We’re about to begin the migration. Master, do you have any other instructions?" Ji Yizhi replied in a serious tone.
Ren Yuanyang waved his hand. "I was just asking. You all go get busy. I’m just going to walk around a bit."
The three of them nodded, took their leave, and departed.
Moving nearly twenty thousand people was a massive undertaking, and there were indeed many things to worry about.
Ren Yuanyang found the generator supplying power to the five-story building and immediately used his system to strengthen it.
[Strengthening successful. Service life increased, power generation efficiency increased...]
As long as it wasn’t intentionally damaged, the strengthened generator could now run for a hundred years without any issues. And with enough fuel, the generator set could easily supply the daily electricity needs of five thousand people.
Ren Yuanyang took a look around and saw that there were no other houses under construction nearby. It was truly quiet and peaceful—perfect for Cultivation.
So, he took out his phone and sent a message to the Peach Blossom Base internal staff group chat.
"I’ve decided to move and live at Dragon Base!"
"Chief, are you planning to abandon Peach Blossom Base?" Lu Jiamei asked hurriedly.
"No way, are you abandoning us?" Qin Haonan sent a message almost at the same time.
Ren Yuanyang rolled his eyes. "I never said I was abandoning Peach Blossom Base, and I certainly never said I was abandoning you!"
"I think Peach Blossom Base is great. Why are we moving?" Si Youqin bravely voiced her opinion.
"The living conditions are better here at Dragon Base," Ren Yuanyang explained. "You can all come with me, or you can stay at Peach Blossom Base. The choice is yours!"
"That’s a multiple-choice question with only one answer! I’m definitely following you, Chief!" Qin Haonan replied instantly.
The others all chimed in one after another, expressing that they would also follow Ren Yuanyang.
Ren Yuanyang nodded slightly and continued, "I want everyone to have more time for Cultivation. Increasing your own strength is what’s most important!"
"Chief, do you mean you want us to hand off all our current work?" Lu Jiamei asked.
"Not entirely," Ren Yuanyang said, shaking his head. "Keep the management authority, but delegate the specific tasks to others. Everyone needs to free up time to increase their Mental Energy!"
"I understand!" Lu Jiamei replied with a nod.
"Everyone, pack your things. You’ll be able to move over in three days at most!" Ren Yuanyang instructed.
"Yes, Chief!"
After the group chat ended, Hua Lingfang immediately sent a private message to Ren Yuanyang.
"Chief, should the clinic at Peach Blossom Base be moved over as well?" Hua Lingfang asked.
"Yes, move it over. It’ll be more convenient for you too, saving you the daily trip back to Peach Blossom Base," Ren Yuanyang replied. "There’s more space here, so you can build a bigger clinic!"
