After that, he enhanced some of the seeds grown at the base and gave them to Lin Mu.
The base’s food cultivation had never ceased, and now that everyone had become an Evolver, it was time to scale up production.
Whether or not they could use a Wood-Type Superpower to control the plants, their physical strength had at least increased, and their work efficiency had improved as well!
At the same time, Jin Ziyu’s workload had eased considerably. Three more Gold-Types had awakened on the yacht, so they no longer needed her every time they required something made of metal.
With all its members now Evolvers, the entire base was running more efficiently and smoothly than ever!
At six p.m., Ren Yuanyang was eating dinner when he received a message from Wang Jun.
"Brother Yang, the trade is tomorrow. Has the location been decided?"
Ren Yuanyang smiled and replied, "I’ll tell you the location at eleven tonight. Let your people coming for the trade get some rest."
"Understood!" Wang Jun responded.
"I’ve also prepared three more advanced Evolution Potions. Consider them a gift for you three captains," Ren Yuanyang added.
"A more advanced Evolution Potion?" Wang Jun froze, his eyes widening. "How advanced?"
"The evolution takes only twelve hours, and the process is virtually painless," Ren Yuanyang replied. "The 2,400 doses we’re giving you have also been upgraded. There’s still some discomfort during the process, but it’s something a normal person can endure."
"You can actually upgrade the Evolution Potions you’ve developed?" Wang Jun found it incredible.
"Technology is always improving!" Ren Yuanyang replied simply.
Wang Jun paused for a moment, then nodded. "I understand. In that case, thank you, Brother Yang!"
"You’re welcome," Ren Yuanyang continued to type. "We’ve run tests on our end. The Evolution Potion is only effective once—taking more has no effect. We’re not sure if it works on those who have evolved naturally. You can try it for yourselves, but it could be dangerous. You’ll have to weigh the risks."
"Understood, thank you!"
After ending his chat with Ren Yuanyang, Wang Jun immediately started a video conference.
"Old Wang, any news from Peach Blossom Base?" Long Zhan asked curiously once the call connected.
Wang Jun nodded and relayed everything Ren Yuanyang had just said to Long Zhan and Ji Yizhi.
"Upgraded? A more advanced Evolution Potion?" Ji Yizhi was just as shocked. "Do they not have any research bottlenecks?"
Wang Jun shook his head and gave a wry smile. "Who knows?"
Long Zhan burst out laughing. "Peach Blossom Base is incredible! I don’t think we need to go in batches anymore! Let’s just have everyone use them at once!"
"I’m tempted to agree, but my better judgment tells me to stick to batches," Ji Yizhi said, remaining extremely cautious.
Wang Jun nodded slightly in agreement.
Long Zhan scoffed. "You guys are being way too cautious. I trust Peach Blossom Base. Let the soldiers from my Liaoyuan be your guinea pigs!"
Wang Jun and Ji Yizhi both frowned.
"We have to test them anyway, so we’ll go first! You two can just wait," Long Zhan continued with a grin. "I’ll also use one of the potions Taoyuan Yang sent for us captains. I want to see what happens when a natural Evolver takes an Evolution Potion!"
"That sounds dangerous," Ji Yizhi said, his brow deeply furrowed.
"Relax. If a normal person’s body can handle the potion’s effects, an Evolver’s certainly can," Long Zhan replied nonchalantly.
Wang Jun was still worried. "Theoretically, yes, but in practice..."
"Enough. Let’s get our seeds ready. We can discuss this again after we get the Evolution Potions," Long Zhan cut in.
Wang Jun nodded. "The seeds and the team are ready. We’re just waiting for them to send the location."
Eleven p.m. arrived quickly. Ren Yuanyang and his men had already confirmed the location for the trade—a new spot, of course.
"Even though you’re an Evolver now, your Mental Energy is still weak. You can’t let your guard down. Be careful," Ren Yuanyang reminded Qin Haonan tirelessly.
"Don’t worry, Leader!" Qin Haonan replied with a smile. "I’m about to head out."
"Good. Safe travels. Stay in constant contact," Ren Yuanyang nodded.
Qin Haonan stood, left the shipping container, and boarded the military speedboat, heading out.
Si Youqin and the others living on the outskirts saw the speedboat emerge from the Banyan Forest and began whispering among themselves.
"The leadership seems so busy. It’s already eleven at night, and they’re still heading out!"
"I heard it’s a trade with the Aircraft Carrier Base. They’re giving them some Evolution Potions."
"So, does that mean we got to use the Evolution Potions before the people at the Aircraft Carrier Base?"
"Of course! We are members of Peach Blossom Base, after all!"
Everyone nodded, proud of their status as members of Peach Blossom Base.
Qin Haonan followed the predetermined route and sped toward the transaction point.
Eight hours later, Qin Haonan arrived at the rendezvous point. Following their usual trading procedure, he placed the potions on a small boat, then moved his speedboat away, the two vessels connected only by a rope.
About twenty minutes later, a speedboat appeared in the distance.
’They’re fast. More than twenty minutes early!’ Qin Haonan thought, glancing at the time in surprise.
He immediately sent a message to Wang Jun. "Captain Wang, your speedboat must have been flying! You’re over twenty minutes early!"
"Our team isn’t there yet!" Wang Jun replied instantly. "You might have run into a boat from another faction! Hang tight, we’re almost there!"
