By the time Ren Yuanyang’s Mental Energy broke through a hundred-meter radius, the Banyan Forest at Peach Blossom Base had already grown beyond that size. Since his Mental Energy’s reach was too small to envelop the whole forest, he couldn’t continue to reinforce it.
The banyan saplings Ren Yuanyang had given to Dragon Base, however, were enhanced from seeds. Thanks to the improvement in his Mental Energy, this round of enhancement was far more potent than before. In every aspect—growth speed, branch strength, and more—they were far superior to the banyan trees at Peach Blossom Base!
The branches of the Dragon Base’s banyan trees were strong enough to easily withstand level-eight winds!
Of course, James and Des were unaware of these differences. They just assumed all banyan trees from Peach Blossom Base were identical.
"I heard Dragon Base got seven banyan trees from the Leader," James continued. "If they grow them all at once, the resulting area will surely be much larger than ours!"
"What’s the use of being bigger? They still have to rely on us at Peach Blossom Base, don’t they?" Des replied with a smile. "But I haven’t seen any discussion about this on the regional or world channels. They’re doing a pretty good job keeping it under wraps!"
James nodded. "Yeah. Dragon Base has so many people, and they don’t confiscate phones. It’s amazing the news hasn’t leaked."
"Their military is probably still in the middle of construction," Des speculated. "The Dragon Country’s military discipline is strict, so of course they wouldn’t leak this information!"
James nodded slightly, scrolling through his phone.
After they became ordinary members of Peach Blossom Base, worked hard, and proved themselves for a period of time, Ren Yuanyang had returned their phones to them.
Suddenly, a message on the regional channel caught his attention.
"The exact location of Peach Blossom Base is at these coordinates. There’s a forest there, and the base is inside it!"
The message included specific coordinates and was accompanied by several photos!
Other survivors who saw this message were all stunned.
"Are you kidding? Those coordinates look like they’re in the Seventh-level Wind Sea Region. How can there be a forest in a Seventh-level Wind Sea Region?"
"There are pictures. You can’t deny the evidence!"
"I think this is the same location the leader of Dawn Base speculated about a long time ago!"
"No one believed it back then. I can’t believe it’s really inside the Seventh-level Wind Sea Region!"
"So, how did this person even find Peach Blossom Base?"
"Who cares how they found it? I’m going to head over to Peach Blossom Base and see for myself. A forest means there’s land, right? I can’t stand living on this endless ocean anymore!"
"I’m going too!"
"You two above me, don’t be rash! That’s the Seventh-level Wind Sea Region. An ordinary ship won’t survive it!"
"That’s right. The winds and waves in the Seventh-level Wind Sea Region are massive. One slip-up and you’ll end up at the bottom of the ocean!"
"Er, never mind then. I forgot to consider the conditions. I’ll just keep my little rust bucket safe here in the Second-level Wind Sea Region!"
Seeing this news, James immediately sent a screenshot of the discussion to Ren Yuanyang.
"I saw it too. Don’t worry," Ren Yuanyang replied with a smile. "Ever since Xi’an Base found our location, it was only a matter of time before we were exposed. Even if everyone knows now, we’re no longer afraid."
James was taken aback for a moment, then nodded. "That’s true. I was worrying for nothing."
"But you did exactly the right thing," Ren Yuanyang said, affirming his actions. "If you encounter intelligence like this in the future, you must still report it."
"Yes, Leader!" James replied happily.
After the chat with James ended, Lu Jiamei, who was standing nearby, frowned. "It must have been the Sea Eagle Country Fleet that leaked this information!"
"Mmm. They hesitated for so long, but they finally exposed our location in the end," Ren Yuanyang nodded slightly.
"They were probably worried we’d send those high-performance ships after them," Lu Jiamei speculated.
"They’re overthinking things," Ren Yuanyang said, shaking his head with a smile. "We have far more important things to do right now; we don’t have time to waste on them. As long as they don’t come looking for trouble, we’ll just ignore them for now."
"Yes, Leader!" Lu Jiamei replied.
Ren Yuanyang continued, "We need to handle the logistics properly to ensure the research at Dragon Base proceeds smoothly."
"Yes!"
As more and more Deep Sea Collectors were successfully enhanced, more people were needed to operate them and gather resources from the seabed.
People were also needed to sort and organize the haul, and to process these raw materials into the resources required for scientific research and development.
All of this required manpower!
After the initial expansion of Dragon Base’s Duckweed Continent, they would need to build factories and develop their industry. A great deal of scientific research, especially in aerospace, required industrial support.
"Should we respond on the regional channel, then?" Lu Jiamei asked.
Ren Yuanyang considered it for a moment, then said, "I’ll handle the response."
With that, he posted a message on the regional channel: "Everyone, there’s no need to make a special trip to verify it. Peach Blossom Base is indeed located at the coordinates that person just posted. If you genuinely wish to pay a friendly visit, you are welcome! However, if you come with ulterior motives, don’t blame us for being less than courteous."
"The leader of Peach Blossom Base actually admitted it himself!"
"@Taoyuan Yang, Leader, I’d like to ask how you planted trees on the surface of the water. Or is it actually a continent?"
"Yeah, please enlighten us, Leader!"
Ren Yuanyang replied with a smile, "We engineered a type of banyan tree that can grow on the water’s surface. By taking advantage of the banyan’s natural ability to form a forest from a single tree, we were able to expand it into this Banyan Forest."
