The soldiers from the Xi’an Base immediately came out of the cabins and stood on deck with their hands raised.
Long Zhan immediately signaled for eight vessels to move in and approach the surrendering enemy ships.
A Gold-Type Evolver instantly created a metal bridge, and Warriors from the Aircraft Carrier Base boarded the ships to inspect the cabins!
After securing all of the Xi’an Base’s combat vessels, Long Zhan glanced at the time. 9:30 AM.
’Finally got it done before ten!’ Long Zhan thought. He’d made a big boast to Ren Yuanyang earlier, and now, at least he hadn’t gone back on his word.
At that moment, Bao Mu of the Xi’an Base learned that the Dawn Base had been attacked. He immediately issued a protest on the regional channel.
"The Dawn Base had already pledged allegiance to our Xi’an Base, yet the Aircraft Carrier Base shamelessly launched a sneak attack! We strongly condemn this action and advise the Aircraft Carrier Base to return the Dawn Base to us at once. Otherwise, we will take necessary measures to retaliate!"
All the survivors were stunned for a moment when they saw Bao Mu’s message.
"What’s going on? The Aircraft Carrier Base is actually attacking other bases?"
"Looks like it. It seems they’ve already succeeded, or the Xi’an Base wouldn’t be saying this."
"Why is there still infighting at a time like this? Can’t we all just develop peacefully?"
"I trust the Aircraft Carrier Base. They’ve always supported peaceful development. But since they made a move, it must mean there’s something wrong with the Xi’an Base!"
"To the poster above, aren’t you being a little too trusting?"
"Hmph! Have you turned a blind eye to how the Aircraft Carrier Base treats our own people?"
"Exactly. Whether it was traveling a thousand miles to defeat the Lvzhi Country, or dealing with the dark tides, toxins, and other crises, the Aircraft Carrier Base has always been protecting the survivors of Dragon Country. You can’t bite the hand that feeds you!"
Ren Yuanyang, of course, also saw the messages on the regional channel. He immediately sent several video clips to Wang Jun.
"Captain Wang, these are videos of the Xi’an Base attacking the Dawn Base, as well as our interrogations of the Xi’an Base prisoners. I trust they’ll be useful."
Wang Jun immediately received the videos and replied, "Thanks, Brother Yang!"
The Aircraft Carrier Base compiled the information, and Wang Jun posted it to the regional channel.
"According to our investigation, the Xi’an Base is not one of our Dragon Country bases. Furthermore, they are experimenting on our compatriots. We only attacked the Dawn Base because they sold our people to the Xi’an Base..."
In addition to this message, several videos were attached as supporting evidence!
Finally, Wang Jun added in an exceptionally firm tone, "Xi’an Base, since you dare to invade our Dragon Country, just you wait. We will be coming to settle the score with you soon!"
After seeing this, everyone understood what was really happening.
"Damn it, I always thought the Xi’an Base was one of ours!"
"I heard they could provide fresh water and was getting ready to head over to them. Good thing my boat is slow!"
"See? I told you the Aircraft Carrier Base wouldn’t attack another survivor base without a reason. Now everyone gets it!"
"Feels like our country is finally getting tough. It used to be ’avoid a fight if you can,’ but now it’s ’don’t waste time talking when you can fight’!"
"The bigger picture is different now. Before, we just wanted to develop steadily and had to consider the international situation. We don’t need to worry about that so much anymore!"
Bao Mu’s brow furrowed as he saw the message and videos Wang Jun had posted.
He had never expected Dragon Country to be so aggressive.
Wang Jun’s final words had him worried. Although his own fleet included an aircraft carrier, he stood no chance if besieged by Dragon Country’s three carriers.
"Give the order! We’re relocating immediately!" Bao Mu commanded swiftly.
"Yes, sir!"
An aide at his side frowned. "Sir, are we heading for the Dawn Base?"
Bao Mu shook his head decisively. "No. The people from the Aircraft Carrier Base are insane. They actually sent over thirty large warships to attack the Dawn Base! Even if we went with our carrier, we likely wouldn’t gain any advantage."
The main issue was that much of the advanced equipment on his aircraft carrier had been damaged by the geomagnetic storm, preventing it from functioning as it should.
The aide was stunned for a moment, then nodded in resignation.
Bao Mu had a very clear understanding of the situation on both sides, but he continued to talk tough on the regional channel.
"Aircraft Carrier Base, I’ll be waiting for you to come settle the score! I’d love to see just how tyrannical Dragon Country can be. Four months of floods have washed everything away. How can you talk about us ’invading’ Dragon Country? It’s all water now. Where are your national borders?"
At this, fleets from other countries immediately started to chime in.
"That’s right! There are no national borders anymore. Each fleet is its own mobile territory!"
"Aircraft Carrier Base, if you’re so tough, why don’t you drive out all the foreign fleets from Dragon Country’s former territory?"
"They don’t have the capability. Energy is the biggest problem. I doubt any fleet besides the Sea Eagle Country’s nuclear-powered carriers has that kind of range!"
"Exactly. Anyone can talk big."
Wang Jun didn’t respond to Bao Mu any further. He knew Bao Mu was just running his mouth. Even without a carrier at the Dawn Base, the Xi’an Base wouldn’t dare make a reckless move.
Meanwhile, Long Zhan had already escorted the two research vessels back to the Dawn Base and secured everyone on board.
"They were really experimenting on our people!" Long Zhan’s brow furrowed. "They injected five hundred people with the Evolution Potion. Only 365 are still alive, and they look like they’re in extreme pain!"
