The remaining twenty ships couldn’t care less about their deserting teammates. They all ordered their crews to brace themselves and prepare for the collision!
Then they accelerated again, charging toward the Han Jin Association Fleet!
Seeing the large ships charging at him again, Park Yiye was stunned for a moment, then cursed, "Shit, these Dragon Country People are a bunch of lunatics! All ships, take evasive action!"
"Chairman, our ships are completely surrounded! There’s no room to evade!" his advisor cried, his face stricken.
"Then keep firing! Cripple every last one of their ships!" Park Yiye roared again, his previous composure completely gone.
The three large ships that had fled didn’t actually leave. Instead, they watched from a distance.
"Should we broadcast what’s happening here?" one of the captains suddenly asked.
"That’s not a good idea. After all, we had no just cause for coming to attack the Peach Blossom Base in the first place!"
"No, now we *do* have a just cause. That ’Peach Blossom Base’ is a Magpie Country fleet!"
"Exactly. And besides, we didn’t come here to attack the Peach Blossom Base. We just came over hoping to do business. We never expected to find that the ’Peach Blossom Base’ was actually a Magpie Country fleet, and that they’d open fire on us with cannons without any warning!"
"That makes sense! Let’s go with that!"
Soon, a message appeared on the regional channel late at night, shocking the survivors who were still awake.
The leaders of various bases who were already asleep were woken up by their assistants.
"Hello, fellow survivors! Our fleet came to the location provided by the Dawn Base, only to discover that the ’Peach Blossom Base’ is actually a Magpie Country fleet. They began bombarding us with cannons without any provocation. All of our Dragon Country ships have united to counterattack. We swear to drive this Magpie Country fleet out of our Dragon Country!"
All the survivors were stunned when they saw this message.
Based on all prior intelligence, there had been no indication whatsoever that the Peach Blossom Base was a Magpie Country fleet!
"OP, are you sure you weren’t sleep-posting? Isn’t the Peach Blossom Base from our own Dragon Country? How did it suddenly become Magpie Country’s?"
"Yeah, are you sure you’re not mistaken? If it were really a Magpie Country fleet, would they be so good to us survivors from Dragon Country?"
"Impossible. The country the Magpie Country hates most is the Dragon Country. If the Peach Blossom Base was theirs, there’s absolutely no way they would trade food with us for plants!"
The Dragon Kingdom United Fleet had just gotten close enough to the Han Jin Association Fleet to take photos of their ships.
They posted the photos directly, while also sharing the coordinates!
"HJS? The characters on the hull are in the Magpie Country language. It means ’Han Jin Shipping’!"
"Damn, it really is a Magpie Country shipping company!"
"The location they shared is also near the coordinates that the Dawn Base exposed earlier!"
"In other words, they were telling the truth!"
Ren Yuanyang, who had been closely monitoring the regional channel, saw the messages. He was also quite shocked. ’I can’t believe the Han Jin Association has cannons!’
’It’s a good thing I let those big ships who were targeting the Peach Blossom Base lead the charge. They helped me smoke out the Han Jin Association’s trump card. Otherwise, I would have been the one to suffer a major loss!’
He suppressed his shock and immediately posted a clarification: "I’ve said it before, that is not the Peach Blossom Base. As the leader of the Peach Blossom Base, I can guarantee that it belongs to the Dragon Country, and it always will!"
"We’re not thieves!" Qin Haonan, who was also awake, immediately chimed in on the regional channel.
"The big boss from Peach Blossom Base just spoke up and denied it again! I’ve got a feeling he’s telling the truth!"
"If the boss would share his location, he could prove his innocence!"
"Yeah, anyone can say that. Talk is cheap. I’m still skeptical!"
Ren Yuanyang scoffed and typed: "While I’m not afraid of other bases’ fleets, I can’t stand trouble. This time, the Dawn Base merely revealed a *possible* location for the Peach Blossom Base, and it attracted this many large ships. If I shared my actual location, I imagine even more would show up, don’t you think?"
"Exactly! You people just want to find the Peach Blossom Base!"
"We just want to be friends with the Peach Blossom Base! We have some plants, too, and we’d like to trade!"
"Alright, cut the act. None of us are idiots here!"
"How many large ships does your fleet have? You must be brave, heading rashly to the suspected location of the Peach Blossom Base!"
"For safety, we traveled together. A fleet of twenty-three large ships!"
"’For safety?’ Sounds more like you came to swallow the Peach Blossom Base whole."
"What a dirty mind you have. The Peach Blossom Base is powerful; of course we had to be cautious!"
"You guys don’t need to argue about it. Just take them down, and you’ll find out if it’s the Peach Blossom Base or not!"
"But the enemy has cannons. They probably can’t win, can they?"
"They went there with twenty-three large ships. Even if they trade ship for ship, they can still take down that Magpie Country fleet. Once they win, the truth will naturally be revealed!"
"That makes sense! By the way, are you guys *really* fighting that Magpie Country fleet right now?"
"I bet they’re not. Otherwise, how would they have the time to be here chatting with us on the regional channel!"
"We really are in battle!"
With that, they posted a video. It showed several large ships fearlessly charging toward the Magpie Country vessels!
"Wait, something’s not right. If they all charged in, how are you guys in the back filming it?"
