Hearing Ji Yizhi’s incredibly certain tone, Long Zhan couldn’t help but exclaim, "Master is truly incredible! To think he could create trees this amazing!"
Ji Yizhi nodded.
Long Zhan continued, "Besides Peach Blossom Base, we’ll probably be the only other continent in the world!"
"Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First, we need to create the Duckweed Continent!" Ji Yizhi shook his head, then immediately contacted Wang Jun to start discussing the plans.
Long Zhan rarely participated in these kinds of discussions; at most, he would just listen in.
Once Wang Jun and Ji Yizhi reached a conclusion, Long Zhan was responsible for its execution.
After some discussion, Wang Jun and his team decided to plant the seven banyan trees six kilometers apart from each other. By the time they grew and connected, the resulting Banyan Forest would cover an area of over 160 square kilometers, easily capable of supporting half a million people!
They then confirmed the specific location: the Second-level Wind Sea Region closest to Peach Blossom Base.
"According to Master, the banyan trees can expand outward by about two hundred meters per day. At that rate, it will take about fifteen days for the seven Banyan Forests to connect!" Ji Yizhi estimated the timeline.
It wasn’t that Ren Yuanyang didn’t want to enhance the growth rate further, but the current level of nutrients in the rainwater could only support this speed. If they grew any faster, the nutrient supply wouldn’t be able to keep up, and the banyan trees would be unable to grow rapidly.
Wang Jun nodded slightly. "We have half a month, then. We don’t need to be in such a rush; we can migrate over slowly."
"I still suggest we move over more quickly! Master has placed high hopes in our research personnel; we absolutely cannot let him down!" Long Zhan said.
Wang Jun was taken aback for a moment, then sighed in resignation. "I understand. I’ve been pushing the labs constantly, but scientific research isn’t like squeezing toothpaste, where you can just force it out with a little pressure. If you really hit a roadblock, you could work yourself to death and still get nothing!"
"That’s true. I’ll go arrange the teams to plant the banyan trees and start expanding the Duckweed Continent as soon as possible," Long Zhan said with a nod.
"I’ll oversee this. You go deliver the ships we captured earlier, including that nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, to Peach Blossom Base. Master is waiting!" Ji Yizhi volunteered for the tree-planting mission.
"Alright!" Long Zhan agreed.
As they spoke, the speedboat arrived at the location where the captured ships from Xi’an Base were being held.
Long Zhan had never brought these captured vessels back to Dawn Base. Since Ren Yuanyang hadn’t yet specified how to handle them, he felt it would be inappropriate to take them back on his own initiative. So, he had left them in the Second-level Wind Sea Region, the area closest to Peach Blossom Base.
Long Zhan disembarked from the speedboat, then began directing the captured ships toward Peach Blossom Base.
Ji Yizhi remained on the speedboat and headed for Dawn Base.
Upon reaching Dawn Base, he immediately dispatched seven frigates and fourteen speedboats, sending them toward the agreed-upon location.
After confirming the positions for the seven banyan trees, Ji Yizhi immediately ordered his men to place them in the water.
The previously wilting saplings instantly turned a vibrant green and began to grow at a speed visible to the naked eye!
Seeing this, all the crewmen present stared with their mouths agape in shock.
"It seems to be growing even faster than our crops!"
"Yeah! Our Captain is incredible, getting his hands on trees like these!"
"But what’s the use of planting trees here? Even if we grow a forest, it’s all water underneath. Are we supposed to live in the trees?"
"Hey, that’s not a bad idea! Living in the trees sounds like a great choice!"
Just then, Ji Yizhi issued an order: "All frigates, evade the expanding banyan branches and withdraw to the outer perimeter! Speedboats, mind your navigation space!"
"Yes, sir!"
This was only the beginning; there was no need to trim the aerial roots just yet.
Back at the base, planners were already sketching a blueprint for Dragon Base according to Wang Jun and Ji Yizhi’s instructions. Once the sketch was finished, the on-site personnel would use it as a guide to clear specific aerial roots, forming internal river channels!
A bustling, harmonious scene unfolded at the Aircraft Carrier Base.
Just moments before, the base had announced the recovery of the last patient, signifying the Aircraft Carrier Base’s complete victory over the unknown virus!
Everyone was cheering joyfully!
The base also distributed the fast-growing crops, which everyone was entitled to receive. They could be planted directly in the water, and after turning in half of the harvest, they could keep the rest. No one had to worry about food any longer.
All the survivors felt incredibly fortunate to be living at the Aircraft Carrier Base!
"Greetings, all survivors. Yesterday, Xi’an Base, in collusion with three Sea Eagle Country carrier fleets, attacked Dawn Base. Captain Long and his soldiers resisted with all their might and ultimately repelled the enemy. This is a victory for Dawn Base, and moreover, a victory for the Dragon Country People!"
"We fear no adversary and will bare our steel against anyone who bullies us!"
The sudden announcement stunned the survivors at the Aircraft Carrier Base for a moment!
But it was immediately followed by an even greater roar of cheers!
"Long live the Aircraft Carrier Base! Long live Dawn Base!"
"Captain Long is a total badass! He took on four of their fleets with just one of ours! And he won! Even movies wouldn’t dare write a scene like that!"
"Yeah! When did our fleet get this strong?"
"Captain Long’s actions once again prove the old saying: We have fine wine for our friends, but for jackals, we have shotguns!"
"The reason we can live so happily here is that someone is out there fending off our enemies for us!"
Soon, this news spread directly to the regional channel.
When the other national factions saw this news, they were thrown into an uproar!
