Seeing everything Ji Yizhi had just shown him, Wang Jun was completely stunned!
Just moments ago, Ji Yizhi had lifted a section of the Duckweed, revealing nothing but water underneath. He’d stirred the surface with his foot, creating ripples. Yet, the Duckweed was somehow able to support him as he jumped up and down on it!
For a moment, he didn’t even know what to ask!
He stood there dumbfounded for a long while before finally collecting himself. "Can that Duckweed really support us, allowing us to live and produce on it?"
Ji Yizhi nodded affirmatively. "The Banyan Forest and this Duckweed are a perfect combination! If Peach Blossom Base can build a Duckweed Continent like this in a Seventh-level Wind Sea Region, it’ll be no problem at all in the Second-level Wind Sea Regions!"
"So is this why Master was unwilling to move Peach Blossom Base?" Wang Jun finally understood.
"That’s definitely part of the reason!" Ji Yizhi replied. "Do you have any other questions about moving the Aircraft Carrier Base?"
"None at all!" Wang Jun shook his head decisively. "If we had known Master had something like this, we never would have insisted on defending the World’s Roof. It’s not even certain if the World’s Roof will ever resurface. The sooner we build the Duckweed Continent, the faster we can resume production!"
Faced with a choice like this, there was no way Wang Jun would pick the wrong option!
"Then you should come directly to Dawn Base. Let’s merge the two bases and develop them together!" Ji Yizhi urged.
"Okay. I need to pack things up on my end, and I have to wait for the current harvest of the crops we’ve planted outside to finish before we can set off!" Wang Jun nodded. "Please tell Master that I’ll join your discussions online!"
Ji Yizhi gave a slight nod and returned to the yacht.
"Master, Wang Jun would like to join our discussion online. What do you think?" Ji Yizhi asked for permission.
"Of course. Just project his video call onto the large screen!" Ren Yuanyang agreed with a nod.
Lu Jiamei immediately stepped forward to help set it up.
Soon, Wang Jun’s figure appeared on the projection screen.
"Captain Wang, it’s been a while!" Ren Yuanyang greeted him with a smile.
He had been in seclusion for nearly a week, so it truly had been a while!
Wang Jun replied respectfully, "It certainly has been some time, Master. I trust you are well!"
"I’m doing great!" Ren Yuanyang nodded, then asked with a smile, "Have you decided to move the base over?"
"With the Duckweed Continent you’re providing, we absolutely have to come!" Wang Jun nodded. "By combining our two bases, we can develop much faster! And we’ll be better equipped to deal with the prophecy from the phone!"
"That’s true. By gathering all the scientists together, we might be able to create a vessel capable of flying to the Sea of Stars in the less than five months we have left!" Ren Yuanyang agreed.
"Since we’ve decided to merge, let’s give the new base a new name!" Ji Yizhi suggested.
"Why not just keep using Aircraft Carrier Base?" Long Zhan said, unconcerned.
Ji Yizhi shook his head. "It was called the Aircraft Carrier Base before because it was founded on our three aircraft carrier fleets. Things are different now. We’re relying on Master and Peach Blossom Base to build such a massive landmass on the sea. It doesn’t feel right to keep calling it the Aircraft Carrier Base!"
"Old Ji is right. Master, please help us choose a name!" Wang Jun said, looking at Ren Yuanyang.
Ren Yuanyang pondered for a moment before replying, "We are all Dragon Country People, and we are all descendants of the dragon. In the future, we are destined to soar to the heavens. So, let’s name our base ’Dragon’!"
"Dragon? Dragon Base. That sounds pretty good! It’s simple, memorable, and it represents our identity!" Long Zhan immediately chimed in. "Most importantly, it’s my family name!"
Ji Yizhi nodded, then shot Long Zhan a look. "You really know how to flatter yourself, don’t you?"
"Master was the one who came up with the name. Since it happens to be my surname, can’t I be a little proud of it?" Long Zhan immediately retorted.
Ji Yizhi was exasperated.
Wang Jun nodded slightly. "The survivors from Dragon Country will definitely feel a strong sense of belonging with that name!"
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"To complete the relocation as quickly as possible, use more of the reinforced ships!" Ren Yuanyang continued. "Have the supply ship from Peach Blossom Base go over and help them move, too!"
Wang Jun and the others were slowly getting used to Ren Yuanyang calling his modifications "reinforcements," so they naturally understood what he meant.
"Exactly. The original ships are way too slow. It would probably take two or three days to move the entire Aircraft Carrier Base!" Long Zhan immediately started complaining.
"Yes. Now we need to decide on a location for the newly established base. We’ll need to place the Banyan Forest and the Duckweed," Ren Yuanyang continued.
"Since both our bases are merging, let’s just put it next to Peach Blossom Base," Long Zhan immediately suggested.
Ren Yuanyang immediately shook his head. "I’m afraid that won’t work."
"Huh?" Long Zhan was taken aback for a moment. "Why not? Is it because you don’t want us too close to Peach Blossom Base, Master?"
Ren Yuanyang chuckled and asked in return, "I invited you all the way to Peach Blossom Base. Do you really think I’m worried about you being too close?"
Before they could respond, Ren Yuanyang continued to explain, "Only mature banyan trees can withstand Level 7 winds, and it’s not easy to anchor a single banyan tree in a Seventh-level Wind Sea Region. Besides, the current Peach Blossom Base isn’t large enough to accommodate the populations of both the Aircraft Carrier Base and Dawn Base!"
Realization dawned on Long Zhan. "Oh, so that’s how it is. In that case, it would be best to place it within a Second-level Wind Sea Region!"
"Correct. So you need to choose a location, and I will provide the reinforced banyan trees," Ren Yuanyang nodded.
