Lin Chuan felt a warm sensation in his heart, turned his head back to his studio, put down his teacup, and prepared to start work!
Morgan Group had utilized hacking techniques to acquire Lin Chuan’s weapon data and images, but when it came to hacking technology, Lin Chuan had never been intimidated by anyone!
In multiple encounters with AW and numerous investigations into the Old Street Factory District, he had maintained an undefeated record.
Victorious in every battle.
This time, when faced with the lawsuit from Morgan Group, he instinctively guessed that it was not as simple as it appeared on the surface.
In many simulated professional life scenarios, he had encountered many dark forces like Morgan Group and knew their methods could be even more despicable.
Thus, Lin Chuan prepared early and struck first.
This lawsuit, set for a courtroom trial on December 20, in two weeks, ostensibly concerned evidence, but in reality, it was a clash of cyber attacks and defenses behind the scenes.
Now, this lawsuit was highly popular both domestically and internationally, attracting a lot of attention.
Whoever acquired more core information from the other side would have the upper hand and could gain the initiative!
"Since you’ve stuck your necks out, why wouldn’t I swing my blade?" Lin Chuan’s lips curled up, and his hands poised over the keyboard, he began his real counterattack!
The clack-clack sound resonated in the room.
Each sound was like the clash of weapons on a battlefield, like the charge of iron cavalry on ancient battlegrounds, while the glimmers on the screen and the switching of windows resembled flashes of swords.
Lines of code and series of programs quickly appeared under Lin Chuan’s fingers, entering the network to execute their commands.
Lin Chuan first gained partial access to the Hass Armed Forces’ permissions.
At this time, Morgan Group’s hackers were also monitoring Leo’s movements, even attempting to steal more weapon-related information.
Lin Chuan interlocked his fingers and massaged them.
He then continued to immerse himself.
He silently took over part of the control of Hass Armed Forces and covertly watched the Morgan Group hackers’ movements to see where they intended to strike.
Once he identified their target,
Lin Chuan laid several programs in relevant points buried within the weapon data, lying in wait like watching a trap.
Indeed,
The hackers from Morgan Group were not as troublesome as imagined.
They fell into the trap with ease.
These documents and programs Lin Chuan had embedded went straight into Morgan Group’s Asia-Pacific Branch local area network.
"You guys are indeed inferior to AW."
In front of his computer, Lin Chuan gave his evaluation.
Had it been AW, they would have conducted a more stringent screening and a more rigorous security check on this part of the weapon data and information.
Though it would have been of little use to Lin Chuan, there would at least have been such a process.
Once the programs entered the local area network of Morgan Group’s Asia-Pacific Branch, Lin Chuan became even more cautious.
He chose to let these programs sink in.
Lin Chuan knew that these data would ultimately flow to the big boss, which was his real target.
As expected.
These data moved from the Morgan Group’s hacker department to Lucas’s computer.
"Yu, we have a new breakthrough!"
In the office,
Lucas could not disguise his joy, and with a hint of seeking credit, his face wore a complacent expression.
"Not bad, I take back my previous negative comment about your hackers." Opposite, Yu Qin’s lips curved into a smile.
Before,
When Yu Keke was arrested, Yu Qin blamed Lucas and looked down on his team of hackers with disdain.
As a result, Lucas’s team not only lost to Lin Chuan but also might have leaked crucial information about Yu Keke.
That was the key to Yu Keke’s arrest.
This time,
Lucas led his hacker team in launching a cyberattack against the Haas Armed Forces, achieving victory after victory and regaining confidence.
Yu Qin also had a greatly improved view of him and his hacker team.
Last time, it might have really been a slip-up.
After all, even AW makes mistakes sometimes.
"In this cyber competition, I’ll prove that my hacker team is second to none compared to AW!" Lucas declared confidently, his confidence growing.
"Haha, it takes effort!"
Yu Qin laughed and said.
"Just wait, I’ll prove it all. Lin Chuan, you wait too. The disgrace of the last failure, I’ll redeem with your imprisonment!" Lucas declared with a sudden burst of juvenile enthusiasm.
Undeniably, he had indeed found a sense of presence for his hacker team at Haas Armed Forces.
Then, he continued to tinker, commanding his hacker team to keep up the attack and strive to gather more information.
There’s a saying—
Following the cable to hack you!
Following the cable, one really can hit someone, and now Lin Chuan is using top world-class hacking techniques to strike back at Morgan Group.
However, just using a few hidden programs to take control of Lucas’s computer is clearly a bit challenging.
A real hunter possesses immense patience.
One day, two days, three days.
As Morgan Group continuously gathered weapon information from Haas Armed Forces, more and more hidden programs entered Lucas’s computer end.
These hidden programs, accumulating over time, turned into Lin Chuan’s tentacles, his eyes.
Initially,
They could only detect when Lucas used his computer, normal access, and later, they began to probe into Lucas’s firewall.
This was a critical step!
Silently breaking through Lucas’s firewall would mean Lin Chuan gained the upper hand in this cyber warfare!
The deserted streets echoed, making the night seem even more calm and profound.
In the distance, the outlines of skyscrapers were faintly visible in the night, their lights a testament to the city’s restlessness. Those lower residential buildings shed warm light, indicating the direction of home, a haven for the soul. Behind each household’s windows, perhaps individual stories were unfolding, warm and ordinary, yet so real and touching.
The entire urban area, in the late autumn and early winter of December’s late night, seemed enveloped in a layer of faint sadness and tranquility, yet also brimming with limitless yearning and hope for the future. The cold wind had risen, but people’s hearts remained warm; under each light, there was a longing and endeavor for a better life.
In late autumn and early December, the night, like a gentle painter, quietly spread a deep and tranquil painting in every corner of the urban area. The cold wind, although slightly biting, seemed to add further clarity and purity, gently brushing the streets, lifting the remnants of fallen leaves, then slowly letting them rest, ultimately returning them to the embrace of the earth.
Street lights, one after another, lit up, their dim, warm light piercing the thin mist, cutting the night into blocks of soft light and shadow. These patches of light, along with the sparse neon on the distant skyscrapers, reflected each other like the night sky’s softest stars fallen to earth, dressing the city in a layer of dreamy gauze.
Most of the roadside trees had shed the glory of summer, only a few stubborn yellow leaves hung on the branches, swaying gracefully in the night wind, occasionally making a rustling sound, their last conversation with the season. Occasionally, one or two leaves broke free from the branches, slowly drifting down, eventually lying quietly on the cold ground, paving a golden path that led the thoughts of passersby towards the distance.
On the streets, few pedestrians were seen; occasionally, a night-returner hurried by, collar raised, hands in pockets, their steps carrying a bit of the cold and urgency, yet enjoying this tranquil time alone. From afar, the occasional sound of a car engine roared, then swiftly faded into the night, leaving only streaks of red tail lights that gradually blurred in sight.
Most shops were closed, only a few 24-hour convenience stores still had their lights on, becoming warm havens in this city that never sleeps. The soft light inside spilled through the glass windows, contrasting starkly with the cold outside, attracting those seeking a hot drink or a simple late-night snack.
Looking up at the sky, a bright moon hung high, its clear light bathing the earth, the stars sparse, not as splendid as those of a summer night, yet sufficient to evoke tranquility and reverie in the heart. On such a night, the entire urban area seemed immersed in a subtle, slightly melancholic yet exceptionally peaceful atmosphere, awaiting the full onset of winter and also looking forward to the start of a new year.
