Chapter 81 There, Full of Bright Red Flags
Global large-scale hacker live-streaming platform, Dark Live.
A channel named “God of Hackers” parachuted to the top of the trending list, attracting a flood of hackers watching the stream to flood into the channel.
[Is Goddess Lena starting her stream?]
[Finally waited for you, Goddess Lena, come tell us about the principle of multi-hop proxies.]
[Goddess Lena, can you show your face?]
[Perform some skills for us. I’m hungry.]
Inside the channel.
A girl dressed in a black hoodie, wearing a mask, spoke fluent English: “Today, no lessons, and no skill shows. I will live stream a cyberwar worthy of going down in hacker history!”
On Dark Live.
Angelina, with her superb skills, had a remarkable number of fans.
Of course.
Angelina’s direct soar to the top of the hot list was aided by a bit of technical manipulation, to attract a large number of hackers as quickly as possible.
The hackers in the channel were very active.
[My God, a cyberwar worthy of going down in history!?]
[Great, Goddess Lena, you’ve piqued my interest, quickly tell me where to witness a spectacular cyberwar.]
[Fantastic, is this cyberwar’s protagonist the God of Hackers you mentioned, Goddess Lena?]
[God of Hackers... Who can truly claim to be the God of Hackers?]
[I am the only god of the virtual world!]
[You are too arrogant, come out and fight in the real world!]
Angelina smiled and said, “Yes, it is indeed the God of Hackers’ cyberwar.”
Subsequently.
On Angelina’s channel screen appeared the ‘Kaspersky’ real-time monitoring map of network attacks.
The map was a globe model.
It displayed multiple colored lines shooting intensively towards the Han River area.
Each beam of light indicated a hacker had launched an attack from that region, and the targeted area where the light pointed was where the attacked party was located.
The Han River was covered with a dense web of lights, with very few beams coming out of Han River.
The hackers in Angelina’s channel quickly grasped the situation.
[The Han River is at a complete disadvantage, if nothing unexpected happens, they won’t hold out much longer.]
[Certainly, this is a massive strike!]
[Such large-scale network intrusion must be the work of a large hacker organization, right?]
[Which hacker organization is it?]
[Goddess Lena, do you mean the God of Hackers has organized a cyberattack against the Han River area and is completely crushing them?]
Angelina shook her head earnestly: “Not exactly, I’m betting on Han River because the God of Hackers is countering!”
At her words, the hackers in the channel were stunned.
[Goddess Lena, I am willing to believe you, but the situation, well, it doesn’t look too good.]
[With things as they are now, Han River has fallen into a quagmire. How could they possibly organize an effective counter-attack?]
[Goddess, I might be ugly, but I’m not stupid. Don’t fool me.]
While staring at the ‘Kaspersky’ monitoring map, Angelina explained to the hackers:
“As far as I know, this is a large-scale cyber intrusion by AW against Han River. You judge only by the number of attacks and haven’t yet seen the counter from Han River, the counter from the God of Hackers.”
“Look at this line here, this is the God of Hackers attempting to trace the opponent’s IP through an attack.”
As she spoke, Angelina marked a line emanating from Han River with her mouse.
[I have heard of AW; they are a major hacker organization that has attempted multiple infiltrations of Han River.]
[AW’s anti-tracking technology is strong, especially their multi-hop attack technology, which perfectly hides their attack source.]
[Is the God of Hackers mentioned by Lena in Han River?]
[Can this solitary line of light lead Han River to a dramatic counter-attack?]
[If that’s really possible, that would be outrageous!]
[I’ve always trusted Goddess Lena’s judgment, but this time... my reason tells me it’s impossible!]
The cyber battle between AW and Han River triggered unprecedented attention.
More hackers streamed into the live stream room, including some mainstream media, following the situation’s development intently.
However, most hackers didn’t believe Han River would be able to mount a comeback.
Because they faced AW.
A world-class hacker organization.
Perhaps, there were mysterious forces backing AW, which gave them such arrogance.
Only Angelina remained steadfast in her belief.
Inside the live stream room.
Angelina’s gaze was fixated on the beam of light emitted from Han River.
Suddenly!
She excitedly said, “Look quickly, my idol has found AW’s IP address!”
At those words, the hackers were all taken aback.
Angelina explained, “This is the God of Hackers’ signature ‘cross-jump tracking technology.’ He can identify the attacker’s virtual network route by navigating through intermediary servers, zombie networks, and reflectors, pinpointing the attacker’s IP.”
The live stream’s barrage of comments doubled instantly.
“He really found it!”
“His cross-jump tracking technology is so powerful, he pinpointed AW’s IP address precisely.”
“Even if he found it, so what?”
“AW is a collective organization, can he alone cripple all of AW’s computers?”
“NONONO!”
Angelina immediately refuted some comments, “You underestimate the God of Hackers too much. I still believe that even with only one computer, he is a match for a million hackers!”
Whoosh!
In the global hacker community, Goddess Lena’s skills were acknowledged by all.
But now, her high regard for a particular hacker was truly surprising!
“Lena, I’m jealous!”
“I don’t believe it, is he really that amazing?”
“Does the hacker community’s zerg rush tactic not work anymore?”
“Lena, take back what you just said. You’re still my only goddess, or I’ll have to stan a few more goddesses.”
“So, how is he supposed to counterstrike to contend with AW?”
“Trust me, the God of Hackers won’t let me down!”
“Look at this beam of light, he attacked AW’s intermediary servers! No, there are five beams of light! He attacked more than one intermediary server!”
Angelina’s eyes shone as she watched Lin Chuan’s counter-attack.
The hackers in the live stream room followed Angelina’s mouse cursor.
Indeed.
Five beams of light targeted AW’s intermediary servers.
After two seconds.
AW’s intermediary servers, like a nexus, emitted various beams in all directions.
Under her mask, Angelina’s expression was excited: “This is the God of Hackers; he has taken control of AW’s intermediary servers and is radiating continuously, crippling AW’s zombie networks and reflectors successively.”
“No, not crippling, they’re controlled by my idol!”
“Nice! My idol has launched a full-scale attack on AW!”
On the Kaspersky monitoring map, lines shot towards the NA region.
AW hacker organization was in NA.
The hackers inside the live stream room witnessed this miraculous scene, at a loss for words.
Lin Chuan’s counter-attack was too fast, too swift.
So swift that within just minutes, he had taken control of the intermediary servers, zombie networks, and reflectors, and launched a full-scale attack on AW!
The next moment.
On the Kaspersky monitoring map, AW was silent, as if plunged into eternal nocturnal darkness.
At that moment.
An image from the computer screen of an AW hacker appeared in Angelina’s live stream room.
In the image was a red flag.
A shock ran through Angelina’s heart as she suddenly remembered a passage from Lin Chuan’s “Hacker Kingdom”:
‘I stand at the pinnacle of the net, overlooking my Hacker Kingdom.’
‘There, it is filled with bright red flags.’
‘Billowing in the wind.’
