Han River, Anling City.
Lin Chuan was unaware that AW had teamed up with the Morgan Group to form the "Avengers Alliance"; he was focused solely on weapon production.
Of course, the Average Subscription for the novel "Arms Tycoon" was also gradually increasing.
[Work: "Arms Tycoon."]
[Current status: Published.]
[Current Popularity Value (Average Subscription): 62760/80000 (Includes domestic and international data).]
[Assessment Task: Develop a new weapon that has not yet been introduced to the world, and gain the recognition of at least 100,000 people (pending completion).]
The Average Subscription had already reached 60,000 and would soon hit 80,000, meeting one of the conditions for unlocking the next profession.
In the early stages of the book release, it had received a lot of recommendations and reached over 30,000 subscriptions in just two days, but the fervor had gradually dissipated, and growth had slowed.
If the timeframe were extended and pushed further, reaching 100,000 subscriptions wasn’t out of reach.
The system had also mentioned that data manipulation was prohibited.
Thus, on Sailing Novel, climbing the ranks or swapping Monthly Tickets for exposure was considered cheating by the system; otherwise, Lin Chuan could have easily boosted it to 100,000 subscriptions.
This was a certainty.
"After a little over a month, when I deliver the weapons to the Haas Armed Forces, the assessment task should be close to completion," Lin Chuan murmured to himself.
In his cooperation with the Haas Armed Forces, the weapons were delivered in bulk, divided into two batches.
One batch would be delivered in November.
The second batch was scheduled for December.
By that time, the weapons produced by Lin Chuan were likely to be approved by both the Haas Armed Forces and other personnel.
In the Virtual World, Lin Chuan was known for providing high-quality services at low prices, and he had many returning customers with high approval ratings.
Therefore, completing the assessment task was only a matter of time.
Anling Toy Factory had introduced a large number of production machines, which were personally adjusted by Lin Chuan, who also trained the technical workers.
His wise helper, the Little Landlady, represented Anling Toy Factory by outsourcing some components to a few companies in Anling City.
These companies had all passed official scrutiny.
Additionally, Falcon Technology Co., Ltd., the technical majority holder of Anling Toy Factory, was in contact with the National Weapons Research Institute. Lin Chuan was responsible for drawing up the designs, while Shen Qianqian handled the patent applications.
Special matters required special handling.
Chief of Police Zhang Biao knew Lin Chuan was handling major matters and had temporarily lent Shen Qianqian to Lin Chuan. He also asked if Lin Chuan had enough manpower.
Falcon Technology Co., Ltd., had, at most, three people.
Lin Chuan, Zhang Xinxin, and Shen Qianqian.
With Lin Chuan having a large number of weapon patents to apply for and then to produce, how could that be enough?
Thus, the next day, Shen Qianqian brought Xia Qingqing along.
As a professional Cyber Police officer, Xia Qingqing was far more proficient in both operations and procedures than Shen Qianqian.
Whew—
After being busy continuously for over half a month, they had finally managed to submit patent applications for all the weapons required by the Haas Armed Forces. Lin Chuan and his team finally took a breather.
"We’ve finally completed the crucial part."
That afternoon, Shen Qianqian sat in the office at Falcon Technology and stretched languidly.
Just then, Lin Chuan was also there.
He personally poured a cup of warm water for Shen Qianqian, "You’ve worked hard."
"Just a cup of water to placate me?" Shen Qianqian rubbed her slightly tired face and joked.
"You’re lucky to have water; I haven’t even had a cup of water poured by Comrade Lin Chuan," quipped Xia Qingqing sourly from the side.
During this half month.
Both policewomen had been diligent and dedicated.
Lin Chuan had also been busy, so most of the time, it was just the two of them bustling about in Falcon Technology Company with documents, patents, etc.
"Nonsense, I clearly poured you a cup of tea the first time you came to Falcon," Lin Chuan chuckled awkwardly in response.
While massaging her shoulders, Xia Qingqing jovially replied, "You only remember that it was just one cup of tea."
"Officer Xia, please have some tea."
Lin Chuan was genuinely grateful for the help from both Qianqian and Qingqing.
There were also personnel in Company 720.
However, in recent times, Company 720 had frequently been attacked, and many technical backbones had been poached by some foreign high-tech enterprises. Only the technical director, Li Qing, was determined to follow Lin Chuan.
But ultimately, no one in the company was as trustworthy as Qianqian and Qingqing.
Most importantly:
These two didn’t require a salary.
Cough, just a joke.
Dressed in a comfortable light green long skirt, Shen Qianqian walked over to Xia Qingqing, moved aside Lin Chuan’s tea, and smiled, "Qingqing, let’s go have a feast."
"Sure!"
Xia Qingqing lifted her face, looked at Lin Chuan, then towards Shen Qianqian, and happily agreed.
Lin Chuan scratched the back of his head.
Shen Qianqian pouted playfully at Lin Chuan, pulling Xia Qingqing as they headed out of the office.
"Lin Chuan, I’m off."
Xia Qingqing blinked her eyes, and before Lin Chuan could reply, Shen Qianqian had pulled her out the door and vanished from Lin Chuan’s sight.
Lin Chuan touched his stomach.
He had just returned from the toy factory not long ago and hadn’t eaten for most of the day; his stomach was growling.
How about ordering takeout?
During this period, he had gotten used to eating takeout.
"Still thinking about boxed meals?" As Lin Chuan was pulling out his phone, indecisive about whether to have beef noodles or a rice dish tonight, suddenly, the voice of Shen Qianqian reached his ears.
"Aren’t you taking Qingqing out to eat?"
Lin Chuan asked in surprise.
"Chairman Lin, if you don’t go, who will pick up the tab?" Shen Qianqian tilted her head and asked with a raised face.
Lin Chuan thought for a moment and asked, "Which restaurant?"
"Does it matter which restaurant?"
Shen Qianqian retorted.
