East Street, Goldstone Edge Antique Shop.
The shop was large, but most of the space was occupied by cabinets storing various antiques, making the passageway rather cramped for the eight or nine men in black T-shirts crowded at the entrance.
As everyone knows,
in an open area, ten people ganging up on one can swarm and attack from all sides.
In a relatively narrow space like this, however, it's not so easy to throw punches and kicks.
Lin Chuan's gaze swept over the ten knife-wielding men in front of him; he used one hand to undo the buttons of his white shirt, his face wearing an inexplicably excited smile.
At this moment,
Inside and outside the shop, a tense atmosphere was thick in the air.
In the tea room, Little Landlady's heart was pounding rapidly, she poked her head out, her eyes already reddened, looking at Lin Chuan with full concern.
"Little Landlady, just sit there and be good, and remember to testify for me when the police arrive, that I was acting in self-defense," Lin Chuan turned his head to look at the Little Landlady, giving her a reassuring glance.
"Chairman, Sister Qianqian will be here soon,"
Little Landlady's voice was tinged with a sob.
"Don't worry, Little Landlady. These guys are just like Little Karami. Give me five minutes, and I'll knock them all down!" Lin Chuan said with a confident smile on his face.
"Little Karami?"
A flash of anger crossed the face of the man in a blue T-shirt.
In all his years in the business, it was the first time he had ever been mocked as Little Karami!
Moreover, he had learned from Old Bao that Lin Chuan was but a web novel writer, an adage saying 'A scholar without use is of no value,' with web novel writers being even less useful!
The man in the blue T-shirt tightened his grip on the roughly forty-centimeter-long knife in his hand, his eyes emitting a cold light as he quickly advanced.
The nine men in black T-shirts behind him surged forward simultaneously.
Inside the Antique Shop,
Lin Chuan did not run away; instead, he charged forward quickly.
The man in the blue T-shirt was also fast, his knife gleaming as it cut through the air, slashing towards Lin Chuan's waist.
Lin Chuan planted his feet firmly, swung his hand in a backfist strike, his right fist clenched, and with a swift downward elbow strike, blocked the blue T-shirt man's elbow that held the knife.
At the same time,
Lin Chuan's left fist was already powered up at his waist, his feet moving quickly in a bow step forward, and his left fist struck out viciously.
It was a powerful Bow Step Punch. Lin Chuan was stable in his stance, power emanating from his waist, shoulder, arm, elbow, and fist acting in unison.
The wind from his fist was intense, striking like lightning, swiftly hammering upwards from the lower left towards the blue T-shirt man's left head.
Martial arts were about lethal techniques!
The man in the blue T-shirt was no pushover either.
As Lin Chuan's left fist neared, he quickly swung out his left elbow to block, his right hand flipping the knife for a horizontal sweep at Lin Chuan's abdomen.
Whoosh!
Lin Chuan's right elbow struck back in a reverse back fist, and before the knife could reach him, he viciously struck the blue T-shirt man's wrist holding the knife.
This was a technique from Jeet Kune Do, the bent elbow backfist.
The blue T-shirt man clearly did not expect Lin Chuan to be an expert combatant, and he reacted too slowly. His right wrist ached, nearly causing the knife to fly out of his hand.
This exchange lasted less than two seconds.
Lin Chuan was about to follow up on his advantage when a man to his right swung his knife down at him. As Lin Chuan turned to dodge, he swung his right arm in a hammer strike, like a pendulum, crashing into the man's groin.
The speed of the blow was so fast that it gave the man no time to react.
Thump.
It was as if the sound of eggs cracking could be heard upon impact, the man instantly bulged his eyes, veins popping on his forehead, his legs clamped tight together, his mouth wide open, but no sound came out.
Pain!
Pain to the point of losing one's voice!
Lin Chuan knew it was not a time for mercy. He immediately raised his right foot for a low side kick, causing the man's knee to pain sharply, forcing him to kneel down suddenly, and then Lin Chuan deftly snatched the knife away.
A knife wind attacked from the left side. Lin Chuan held the knife in reverse grip, raised his hand to parry, and then suddenly exerted force to shake off the man to his left, before turning around to deliver a high whip kick, his leg sweeping swiftly like a long whip, hitting the jaw of the man to his left.
Crack, his jaw was dislocated.
By now, Lin Chuan had quickly stepped back, holding the knife horizontally in front of him, catching his breath.
In just over ten seconds, Lin Chuan had engaged with three men.
One was curled up on the ground, clutching his groin, howling in agony.
Another had his jaw dislocated, mouth askew.
One's fighting power had dropped from ten thousand to six thousand.
Lin Chuan was clever; throughout those ten seconds, he always made sure that only three people could reach him from the front, left, and right.
In the tea room,
The worry in Little Landlady's eyes was replaced by surprise, her mouth agape, her face frozen, looking at Lin Chuan's movements in disbelief.
Lin Chuan's figure moved swiftly under the bright lights of the shop, his eyes gleaming with calm confidence.
Little Landlady swallowed hard, and the shock and concern in her heart dissipated significantly.
She stared intently at Lin Chuan, thinking to herself, 'Is this really my Chairman?'
Chairman... so fierce!
It was miraculous; the phrase 'advantage is mine' surged in her heart in an instant.
Ten people attacking one, and yet getting counter-killed?
Is this how you play?
But Little Landlady didn't shout it out; she was afraid that doing so would anger the others, greatly increasing their fighting power, causing more trouble for Lin Chuan.
At this moment,
The blue T-shirt man stared at Lin Chuan with icy eyes, his face fierce and also filled with surprise.
According to the information given by Old Bao,
Lin Chuan was a web novel writer, good with tricks, probably an expert in toy gun stunts, and that was it.
But he never expected that Lin Chuan would knock down two of his brothers in a matter of seconds, one of whom had completely lost the ability to fight.
