Chapter 1110: The Mystery of Pseudo-god
Auglas came to the Dark Moon this time mainly to visit Lalaria and Olypheus. He broke into a cold sweat when he heard that his 2 daughters had nearly died in the Dead Sea treasure hunt.
The treasure map was actually 1 of his collections. It was said that it recorded the location of the treasure of an ancient sea creature tribe kingdom. The authenticity was unknown. Later, it was stolen by Lalaria, and she even took Olypheus on a treasure hunt. If Chen Rui hadn’t arrived in time, they would have died in the terrifying Abyss main altar.
Chen Rui knew in his mind that this treasure map was not deliberately left by the Abyss rulers. The treasure map should record the real treasure, but because a long time had passed, the sea creature tribe kingdom just happened to be turned into the main altar by the Abyss. Fortunately, he sensed that the link to Vesilna disappeared. Otherwise, if he went 1 step late, the consequences would be disastrous.
Auglas seemed to have thought of something, “Chen Rui, you said earlier, that woman’s name is Python?”
“Yes, sir heard of her?”
“It can’t be her... Could it be the same name?” Auglas whispered to himself, and suddenly realized, “By the way, she said recovering to the intermediate stage Pseudo-God? It must be her then!”
“I think your guess is correct.” Chen Rui shrugged, “Python’s strength was originally at the peak stage Pseudo-God. Due to some circumstances, her strength has temporarily regressed. She is now recovering step by step.”
“No doubt it’s her.” Auglas said with a bitter smile, “When I left the Dragon Island to train, my father, Crusier, once warned me that there are a few people I should never provoke. Among these names are Satan and Python. It’s a pity that I was young and arrogant. After an advance, I wanted to challenge Satan, and I was easily defeated in the end. If it wasn’t for Satan’s old relationship with my grandfather, Ceshon, I’m afraid I would have turned into ashes. “
“It’s not your grandfather, Ceshon, but your grandfather’s grandfather, Mirsto.” Python’s indifferent voice came, “You should only meet Satan’s avatar, but that guy is never a person of friendship. His real body should be comprehending the power of the silver box while sleeping, so he didn’t want to let external factors affect him. Otherwise, you would already be the dust of history, little black dragon.”
“Hmph!” Auglas glanced at Python. Although according to the real age, Python and Satan should be the same age powerhouse who was indeed much older than him, the phrase the ‘little black dragon’ still sounded unpleasant to the Royal Majesty Dragon Emperor.
“You are not satisfied with my evaluation of dragons? I said the same to Mirsto back then.” Python sneered, “If you don’t like it, we can fight again! Your Pseudo-Godhood has just been condensed and even the faith and life have not been fully integrated. You are not my opponent at all. Even if you have that [Dragon God Eyes], it’s useless. Your current [Dragon God Eyes] is just an inferior product. It has never been restored after it was damaged back then.”
Auglas was about to have a seizure when he heard “If you don’t like it, we can fight again”, but he calmed down when he heard the following words, “I stepped into Pseudo-God because of the Dragon Power Essence of the Holy Dragon Rodriguez, which is actually a Pseudo-Godhood. However, something has gone wrong with the integration of faith and life. Hope you can advise me accordingly.”
Auglas actually said these words to Chen Rui. In his opinion, Chen Rui had reached the intermediate stage of Pseudo-God, so he should be able to give him corresponding advice. Unfortunately, Chen Rui’s ‘Pseudo-God’ was completely different from ordinary trainers. He didn’t even have a Pseudo-Godhood at all. Of course, he couldn’t answer, so he had to turn his gaze on Python.
“You seem to have asked the wrong person, little black dragon.” Python gave Auglas a half-smile, “He can’t remember anything now, so let me tell you.”
Auglas looked at Chen Rui in surprise, knowing that Python didn’t lie. It seemed that this guy really didn’t know (or couldn’t remember). He bowed slightly to Python at the moment and said solemnly, “Please advise.”
This attitude made Python nod, “The most fundamental difference between Pseudo-God and Demi-God is not the rise of ordinary law to the level of the law might, but the fusion of kingdom, faith and life. Fuse the Demi-God’s real kingdom step by step into the soul, forming the core of faith and life. As long as the soul does not die, the core will not disappear. This is the ‘Pseudo-Godhood’.”
It was the first time Chen Rui heard such a theory, and he asked, “How to fuse the real kingdom into the soul?”
“First of all, you need a real kingdom and many creatures that are completely faithful to you. These are actually the foundation laid at the Demi-God level. Then, it is like creating a space in the soul and integrating all real things in the kingdom into it. This fusion would make the law qualitatively change to might.”
“Creating a space?” Chen Rui vaguely thought of something, “Does it mean that the kingdom of the powerful kingdomized powerhouse is built by energy, which is equivalent to a general framework of qualitative change from the territory to the kingdom. The kingdom of the powerful Demi-God level is a real entity converted from the fictional kingdom of energy. The kingdom’s avatar can be cast in battle to assist, but the kingdom is still separate from oneself. At the Pseudo-God level, the kingdom has merged into the Pseudo-Godhood and completely become a part of oneself?”
It was like the realm of cultivation and realization of certain Buddhist teachings: Kingdomized was equivalent to seeing mountains as mountains and seeing water as water.
Demi-God level was equivalent to seeing mountains as not mountains and seeing water as not water.
Pseudo-God was was equivalent to returning to the original point: Seeing mountains as mountains and seeing water as water. Nonetheless, compared with before, there had been a completely different qualitative change.
“Of course, this is common sense. You didn’t forget this, did you?” Auglas asked Chen Rui curiously, but instead of asking more, he turned to Python, “I’m facing some problems in merging the kingdom now.”
When Python heard Auglas describe the difficulties he encountered, she nodded slightly, “The reason is very simple, your kingdom faith power is not enough in terms of quality or quantity. Faith can be said to be the most important part of the kingdom. The purer and larger the faith, the more solidified the Pseudo-Godhood will be, the stronger the power will be, and the larger the life space it can hold. To take a simple example, if your current life space of the Pseudo-Godhood is an island, then Satan and I are a sea!”
Auglas was shocked. With the in-depth explanation of Python, many puzzling or difficult points were resolved.
The training and perception of faith power was by no means an overnight effort. It required a long time and a lot of energy. The most commonly used state was to enter a certain dormant state so that the body and spirit were at the lowest consumption, yet the soul was free to comprehend faith in the kingdom.
Python also explained some of the use of Pseudo-God’s faith and the secret technique of the dormant state. Auglas couldn’t help listening attentively.
Chen Rui, who was listening on the side, finally understood why all peak stage Pseudo-Godpowerhouses like the 3 archangels, Sariel, Satan, including Python (in the silver box) would often enter a long ‘sleep’.
Although the lifespan of Pseudo-God was very long, it was not endless. Sleeping could not only comprehend and train faith, expand and strengthen the kingdom of Pseudo-God, but it would also greatly reduce the consumption of life.
Chen Rui couldn’t help but ask, “How is your current Pseudo-Godhood?”
“Because it was badly damaged at that time.” Python was referring to the time when she fought against Chen Rui at the Holy Light Mountain, “But the soul fusion physique of this body is almost absolutely pure, so my soul fusion is quite perfect. It can accommodate my kingdom power well. Plus my previous training in that place, my recovery is in good shape overall. For now, recovering to the early stage of the Pseudo-God is basically a short-term limit. In order to quickly recover to peak stage Pseudo-God, I must take some kind of shortcut.”
“The shortcut you said...” Chen Rui thought of what Python said in her previous battle with Auglas, “Is it devouring others’ kingdom?”
“It is more accurate to say devour Pseudo-Godhood. Not everyone has this ability. Pseudo-Godhood has great power. If I am not careful, I will perish together, but I happen to have this talent. The power obtained is not as pure and powerful as training personally. It takes longer to digest and assimilate to achieve the desired effect, but it is the only shortcut to rapidly expand my strength.”
“The higher the opponent’s Pseudo-Godhood level, the greater the benefit to me, such as this little black dragon. After devouring, I can try to recover or call it ‘breakthrough’ to the intermediate stage of the Pseudo-God.” Python looked aside at the ‘little black dragon’ Auglas. He was immersed in comprehension and had completely entered a certain state at this moment, so he was unaware of other things.
Chen Rui certainly wouldn’t agree with Python, “Is there any other way?”
“Then change to another person. Get me Satan to devour now, and I can directly return to the state of peak stage Pseudo-God. If you give me time to fully digest it, then my strength will be even greater than before.”
“This is too difficult.” Chen Rui smiled wryly, “I still want to rely on you to quickly recover your strength to deal with him, so let’s give you a try of [Star-level Enhancement] in that special world, just like I did before. Based on my friends’ conditions, the effect is quite good.”
“Okay. However, taking the example I gave with the little black dragon before, even if I restored to the peak stage Pseudo-God, my kingdom is just a sea. So what if it includes the whole world? The legendary god kingdom is as vast as the galaxy of the sky. There are countless lives in it. That is the real Godhood.”
With that said, Python’s gaze toward Chen Rui was a little more profound, “Usually, even the God descendants who are carrying God bloodline or Godhood fragments, a.k.a the real Demi-God, can’t break through the bottleneck and become a real god. However, there may be certain talented people who may be able to touch the height that others can’t reach, and thus embark on the real road to becoming a god.”
Chen Rui sighed. Okay, anyway, it’s getting more and more mysterious. Why don’t you just say I’m that person.
After intentionally deepening the misunderstanding, a certain person’s mind became clearer, “I understand now. The reason why Michael and the others stole the faith is to use the faith power of countless believers of the light to continuously expand their kingdom. They want to use ‘quantitative change’ to induce the real ‘qualitative change’ of the Pseudo-Godhood, so as to pursue the road of god. And what you mentioned, comprehending the creation origin and destruction origin, is another way. Starting directly from the perspective of qualitative change, because creation and destruction are the most basic laws of the universe. “
“Actually, this theory was not proposed by me.” Python looked directly into Chen Rui’s eyes, “Plus, it is not merely a theory. Someone has personally practiced this road. It can be said that he almost touched the final realm back then. Now I can’t be sure whether he succeeded or failed.”.
Chen Rui thought of when he said this theory to Satan, Satan’s reaction was that he had an ‘old friend’. This old friend, in Satan’s view, was not necessarily Python, but a person who had been misidentified as Chen Rui all the time.
“I don’t want to explain any misunderstanding anymore.” Chen Rui shook his head, “If you try to get a certain person to recall something, you obviously fail, because it’s just playing music to the bull... Uh, this phrase, you can understand as trying to play music to the lowest level demonic beast and letting it understand the music theory, get it?”
“Got it.” Python was silent for a moment, then she suddenly showed a rare smile as she nodded, “Sir lowest level demonic beast.”
Chen Rui:”...”
