Chapter 878: Doomsday Trial
The martial battle championship held in the Bloody Empire finally ended. Compared with the strongest battle in the semi-finals, what happened in the finals, which could be called a divine scene, was even more eye-catching.
There was no fierce battle as imagined or even a fight at all; there was only a conversation between a man and a woman from beginning to end.
There was no winner in this final. From another perspective, both Catherine and ‘Aguile’ were the winners.
As the Demon Realm’s top beauty and sage, Empress Catherine, said, this was the most critical moment for the Dark Shadow Empire, the 3 empires, and the entire Demon Realm.
Empress Catherine, with the determination to die, made ‘Aguile’ (which represented the Fallen Angel Empire) choose to give up domination and control of the Demon Realm forever, and pointed out the ‘confederation’ alliance, a hopeful future empire system.
It seemed that this empress almost sacrificed her life in exchange for the peace of the Dark Shadow Empire and even the entire Demon Realm, but what happened next was more like a sensational and affectionate stage. Her Majesty Empress and Aguile actually loved each other, and they even had a daughter secretly!
Seeing the hands of lovers Catherine and ‘Aguile’ clasped together caused a commotion in the entire Demon Realm, including the Dark Shadow Empire.
If it was another time, this event would have set off a terrifying ‘quake’ inside the Dark Shadow Empire alone.
However, under the current situation, this move had given the biggest reassurance for the precarious and anxious Dark Shadow Empire. The Dark Shadow Empire could breathe a sigh of relief regardless of whether that ‘confederation’ system would be implemented.
In fact, by now, many people had clearly understood the strength of ‘Aguile’. This Royal Highness Prince Consort was by no means a vassal. It was even said that ‘Aguile’ should be the biggest factor that Shea could bring down Obsidian and ascend from lord to ruler. The strength he had in hand was enough to control the entire Demon Realm.
When Shea was still the lord of the Dark Moon, ‘Aguile’ had been working behind the scenes under the guise of the Cloak Gang until the Obsidian crusade where he began to really show his true power by beheading Regent Obsidian on the spot. In the martial battle championship this time, although there was no battle in the final, he was already the recognized champion and super powerhouse who far surpassed Raizen. Putting aside individual strength, as many have guessed, the magic gun troop, assemble puppets and never-before-seen ancient guardians who appeared at the Fallen Angel Empire’s grand military parade, were all strengths that really belong to ‘Aguile’ – If Shea had such strengths, she would not have been nearly wiped out by Raizen back then.
In this context, the success of Catherine and ‘Aguile’ reuniting was great news for the Dark Shadow Empire, which had been worried about the occurrence of war.
Catherine was the absolute ruler and spiritual leader in the Dark Shadow Empire who had won the trust and support of the people. When ‘Aguile’ asked her whether, ‘Sacrificing her life for the throne, responsibility, and the people, is it worth it?’, Catherine answered without hesitation. ‘It is worth it’.
At this moment, countless people of the Dark Shadow Empire shed tears.
In the end, Aguile gave up the ambition to rule and gave up the war for Catherine. When the two held hands, the vast majority of the people of the Dark Shadow Empire felt heartfelt joy and relief. They were silently blessing the beloved Her Majesty Empress. Catherine’s prestige had not declined, but grown instead.
In contrast, the Bloody Empire Lord Raizen’s face looked gloomy.
The last time Raizen was chasing them in the small plains, Raizen discovered that something was wrong between ‘Aguile’ and Catherine, but he didn’t expect that Catherine actually made such a move in the final. What’s even more unbelievable was that the 2 actually had a daughter!
Judging from the performance of Aguile swearing to give up ‘domination’, holding hands with Catherine, hugging his daughter and crying bitterly, it is inevitable that the Fallen Angel Empire and the Dark Shadow Empire will form the same front, and the Bloody Empire will face an unprecedented dangerous situation.
Originally, the strong rise of the Fallen Angel Empire forced the Dark Shadow Empire and the Bloody Empire to join forces to fight against it, but now the Dark Shadow Empire has unexpectedly become an ‘ally’ in another sense of the Fallen Angel Empire. Whether the confederation system can succeed, the Bloody Empire is forced to the edge of the cliff.
A number of pressing issues had been put before Raizen, forcing him to think more.
Now, the love history and romance gossip about Aguile and the 2 empresses, Catherine and Shea, plus the mysterious super powerhouse magician Zola, were spreading wildly. These hot topics could be heard in every corner.
The main protagonist of the incident, a certain Sir Prince Consort who was envied and hated by countless males, was not in the high spirits as imagined now, but he was anxiously facing a... trial.
The all-female juries consisted of the harem troupe of Athena, Zola, Isabella, Shea and Kia as the presiding judges while the juries were Delia, Medilu, Alice, Adeline, Krobelus and Helen..
22 eyes were fixed on Chen Rui, and this oppressive atmosphere made the male protagonist feel more nervous than facing Demi-God or even Pseudo-God.
Fortunately, there was a powerful amulet on the male protagonist, which was Ms. Duoduo riding on the neck. Due to many follow-up issues to deal with, Catherine, who had a touching reunion in the final, did not go with Chen Rui, but Ms. Duoduo insisted that she would not leave daddy, so she followed Chen Rui back to the inn.
Ms. Duoduo rode on Chen Rui’s neck, familiarly pulling daddy’s hair, which was her favorite nest when she was the little phoenix.
It was a pity that it was a human body now, and her size had become larger, so she couldn’t roll on it. Nonetheless, there were also advantages to being in a human body as she could nibble and scratch daddy’s face as she wished.
Seeing the young little loli crawling around on the target, trying to squeeze the guy’s face into various funny shapes from time to time, most of the juries’ attention was inevitably attracted. The oppressive atmosphere could no longer last and finally dissipated, allowing the male protagonist to wipe off his sweat in relief.
Isabella realized that it couldn’t go on like this, so she was the first to speak, “This Royal Highness Prince Consort. Do you have something to say?”
“I have nothing to say other than to say ‘I’m sorry’.” Royal Highness Prince Consort bowed his head with a guilty gesture. Although he really hoped to have the domineering aura of the male protagonist in the novel that deters all wives and concubines, there was an obvious gap between reality and ideals. It was impossible not to humble his attitude at this time.
Nothing to say? The presiding judges and the jury quickly exchanged glances. Then he can be convicted?
Convicted for what? Cheating with Catherine without telling everyone?
The problem was, according to the order of time and things, Catherine was his first woman in the true sense. Only the earliest Athena was qualified to compete with her, and the rest could only be regarded as the later ‘mistresses’.
Several girls in the presiding jury winked at each other, then they took a step back in tacit understanding. Athena was standing at the front now.
When Athena was suddenly pushed to the front, she was a little flustered. Delia hurriedly gave her good friend an encouraging gaze, and the harem troupe’s comrades also gave her an eye gesture as a support.
Athena bit her lip and walked in front of Chen Rui. Chen Rui looked up at Athena with an apologetic look. At that time, his intimacy with Catherine was purely accidental. Although Catherine was his first woman, Athena was the first woman he really fell in love with; she was also the one he loved most.
Athena’s heart softened when she saw his gaze. Chen Rui had confessed to her about ‘Christina’ long ago, but she didn’t expect ‘Christina’ to have such a big background that it caused an unimaginable commotion throughout the Demon Realm the moment the relationship was publicized. This made the harem troupe more jealous and envious.
“Eh-hem!” A reminder sounded from behind. When Athena returned to her senses, she struggled violently in her mind for a while. When she finally made up her mind and was about to speak. Little Duoduo, who had been fiddling with daddy’s hair, said in a childish voice, “Aunt Athena, Duoduo wants to eat red apple.”
“Ah... Duoduo waits a minute, aunty will choose the reddest one for you now!” Athena hurriedly went to the side to choose the apple.
Someone secretly breathed a sigh of relief: My daughter is the powerful one after all. She managed to neutralize the first wave of the enemy’s offensive without any fight.
When the harem troupe saw that the vanguard was diverted away, they were naturally unwilling to give up. The strategist Isabella decided to go out in person and said with a sad face, “Actually, Her Majesty Empress knew you first, so we don’t have a say. However, putting aside the status, both of you even have a child... Didn’t you say that we are a family? Now I just want to know how many secrets you have...”
“Aunt Isabella, comb hair hair.” Duoduo took out a small red comb and handed it to Isabella.
Isabella, “Ah, okay...”
After being smooched by the little girl, Ms. Yini was no longer desolate as she helped Ms. Duoduo comb her hair with a loving look on her face. After the vanguard general went to peel the apple, the jury suffered a non-combat attrition again as the madam strategist became a combing maid.
After the strategist of the main jury unexpectedly failed, the rest of the people looked at each other and were speechless for a while.
“I’ll go!” The little loli of the jury jumped out abruptly. She pointed at Chen Rui with a look of grief and indignation, “Brother! You’re a big liar, a big bad guy...”
Alice’s heart was really sad. I originally thought it was Terdila who was being taurened(NTR, being cheated), but I didn’t expect that I was the one who is getting taurened (Self-asssumed)! I have been waiting for 3 years without success. Catherine, that wicked mistress, reaped without sowing, had sex with brother, and gave birth to a child!
The more Alice thought about it, the sadder she became, then she started crying. Ms. Duoduo saw that Alice was crying, and she followed suit without realizing it. Everyone panicked and rushed to coax the 2 lolis.
After barely coaxing Ms. Duoduo into laughter and Alice was comforted by Shea and Adeline, the momentum of the previous public trial had been completely destroyed.
The female strategist who continued to act as the combing maid shook her head after knowing that the operation code named ‘Doomsday Trial’ was a complete failure.
Chen Rui also realized this, and he secretly felt lucky. He wanted to hug the troublemaker Ms. Duoduo and desperately ‘smooch’ her- This girl is so caring, Ikki Tousen (1).
Shea, who had been silent for a while, sighed, “Okay, we will just ask you 1 question, and you must answer truthfully. Do you still have any other women out there?”
“Absolutely not!” Chen Rui knew that this kind of concluding remark meant that the trial meeting was coming to an end, and that he could finally get away with it, so his head shook like a rattle.
Ms. Duoduo couldn’t hold onto daddy’s hair, so she had to give up. At this time, Isabella had already helped her comb her hair. Ms. Duoduo was very happy and pointed toward Athena and the others, “Aunt Athena, Aunt Isabella... eh, daddy, Duoduo still remembers there is an Aunt Blanche?”
Blanche?
Female?
The ears of the jury who were about to disperse stood up at the same time. The atmosphere suddenly returned to the strange vibe just like before.
No! The savior is also the troublemaker... Chen Rui almost cried like Ms. Duoduo.
Ms. Duoduo still didn’t know that she had pulled someone back to hell. When Chen Rui was in the Jade Forest Sea, he thought he couldn’t take Duoduo with him, so he entrusted Blanche, a half-elf girl, to take care of Duoduo. Duoduo retained its previous memory, so it was reasonable that she remembered Blanche. However, when she brought it up at this terrible time, she could only be described with the words, ‘tripping dad’.
A veritable ‘tripping dad’.
“Swoosh swoosh swoosh...” In the blink of an eye, blade-like gazes all surrounded him.
The daddy’s daughter was a little tired of daddy’s bird nest head, “Aunt Athena, Duoduo wants to play ‘Angry Birds’.”
Athena stretched out her hand and embraced Ms. Duoduo who was flying toward her. She gave her comrades a firm gaze that wasn’t there just now: I’ll leave the rest to you all.
What happened later, only the people involved know best. Anyway, the male protagonist didn’t dare to think about it.
When a certain guy recalled this tragic past, he only said a very philosophical sentence: Every man’s IQ is close to Einstein’s when he is cheating, and every woman’s reasoning is no less than Sherlock Holmes when she is catching the cheater.
Even Einstein, no matter how smart he was, could only kneel obediently when faced with several Sherlock Holmes and several ‘accomplices’ like Watson.
In fact, the shock of this ‘Doomsday Trial’ did not last long. Soon, the savior came.
Bloody Empire Lord Raizen personally wrote an invitation to invite Shea of ??the Fallen Angel Empire and Catherine of the Dark Shadow Empire to attend the first talk of the 3 empires’ leader to restart the peace talks of the 3 empires. Prince Consort ‘Aguile’ was also invited as a special guest.
This was the first peace talk proposed by Raizen, who had always maintained a tough attitude in more than 300 years, which might mean that the Demon Realm would enter a new era of change.
(1) A japanese manga describing a girl who is destined to unite the 7 schools that are constantly ‘at war’ with each other.
TL: No wonder author keeps saying Terdila is a tauren before, turns out he is saying that Terdila is getting cheated.
