Chapter 613 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
Chapter 613: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
The main cannon at the end of the Devil’s Snare Ship emitted a bright white light. The sandmen cannoneer became very skilled in controlling the energy and time of this magic crystal cannon. In the blink of an eye, 2 more undead ships were annihilated.
However, for the number of undead fleets, this attack was just a drop in the bucket. After the 2 main cannon shots, the magic crystal cannon entered a cooling period and couldn’t fire temporarily. 2 figures flew out of the Devil’s Snare Ship toward the dense fleet in the storm. It was precisely Strena and Chen Rui.
Strena wore a new set of dark silver armor which was carefully created with materials such as magic immunity mithril and star sand. The weight was much lighter than imagined. It not only had amazing defense power, but it would also increase attack speed, reduce magic damage, and greatly enhance the speed of stamina recovery. Although this armor was only a quasi-legendary grade, the 3 attributes were the most needed for the naga tribe. It could perform beyond the general legendary grade equipment.
What made Strena even more surprised was that the shape of this armor was also tailored for the naga tribe. Except for the arm part, even the relatively weak parts of the lower snake body are better protected. The same is true for the excellent grade armor of those naga warriors. I really don’t know how Sir Captain, who usually only enters the ship cabin for a few hours, completes so many sets of customized equipment.
Of course Strena didn’t know. Those few hours were actually equivalent to a few days or even dozens of days after the Super System was linked to the Time Rule. However, these armors were originally prepared for the medusa legion. Apart from the one on Strena, the rest didn’t take much effort. He just had to modify the arm part and size a bit. The real time-consuming one was the 6 golden scimitars of Strena. These 6 scimitars were a set. In addition to the original special effects such as armor piercing, tearing wounds and attribute attacks, the 6 scimitars could double the damage and fully withstand Strena’s [Flame Territory] at the same time. Otherwise, her weapons would melt and she would become unarmed every time the skill was finished. This was the weapon that was truly tailored for Strena which had reached the legendary quality. It was named ‘Rage Incineration’.
Strena was now holding Rage Incineration in her hands. She passed by the sampans and rushed directly to the undead ship in front. The 6 golden lights in her hands draw countless dazzling arcs like lightning that tears the sky apart in a torrential rain. As the golden lightning passed by, the 3 huge masts broke down and fell on the ship; the fractures were charred. It was the additional fire attribute attack effect of the ‘Rage Incineration’. Once the mast of the huge ship broke, her speed suddenly slowed down. The undeads who were buffed up under the buff of the special power of the heavy rain swarmed to her.
Strena’s green eyes suddenly turned golden. The 6 scimitars all burned into red flames. The entire ship was filled with crisscross sharp qi. The storm in the sky was dispersed. The undead ship instantly turned into a world of flames. The undeads were disintegrated into countless charred fragments. They slowly sank with the entire ship that was also on fire.
Despite the powerful weapons and armor given by Chen Rui, this move still consumed a considerable amount of power of the female naga warrior. Nonetheless, this time was the critical juncture to buy time, so Strena did not hold back her stamina. As her snake tail shook, she rose into the air and flew toward the ship behind.
As soon as Strena rose into the sky, she suddenly felt that there was a fierce and hot berserk breath in the damp and cold air. She saw a red scorching light on the sea below; a red winding huge beast roared out through it. Everywhere it went, the sampans and the undead turned into ashes. The sea water rolled back one after another.
Strena once saw Chen Rui use this kind of ‘huge beast’ attack against the demonic shark swarm in the Black Sea, but this huge beast actually rushed toward himself after going around in a circle.
The answer was quickly revealed. The huge Scorching Dragon merged with the figure burning with black flame. The sea water twisted and boiled under the powerful red power. The black flame turned red as the amazing power gradually merged with the figure. Only then, the boiling and vortex of the sea calmed down.
[Scorching Dragon Possession].
Because [Royal Star Transformation] and [Scorching Dragon Possession] were not compatible, Chen Rui rarely activated this skill normally. He used a lot of faith crystals previously to cancel Shura’s contract on Adeline. Now, he couldn’t activate the [Royal Star Transformation] with the remaining number. Therefore, when he activated it now, the [Scorching Dragon Possession] could be advanced to the early stage of the Demon Overlord combat power based on his original status at the peak stage of the Demon Emperor.
The turbulent waves caused by the circling Scorching Dragon overturned the sampans in this area. Even the approaching undead ships were slowed down due to the blocking of the waves. However, no matter if their comrades were sunk or destroyed, the rest of the undead ships sailed forward rhythmically and blindly and continued to sail forward.
The top priority now was to buy time for the Dark Elemental King, so Chen Rui’s tactics were very targeted. He did not directly destroy the ships, but he used the power of the sea to block the ships. Strena was quick-witted as she immediately realized this, but her melee combat characteristics were not suitable for the main attack, so she changed her tactics to match his actions.
The vortex jointly created by both of them effectively blocked the advancement of the fleet, but the undead ships were not ordinary ships. As long as they were not destroyed, even if they overturned and sunk into the seabed, they could still emerge without being affected.
The storm in the sky became more and more intense. The rain not only strengthened the fleet further, but it also made Chen Rui and Strena feel intensely uncomfortable. Whether it was the power channeling in their bodies or the use of moves, they felt restricted and required several times more strength than usual.
The foremost undead fleet had already begun to launch cannon attacks, not against Chen Rui, but against the Devil’s Snare Ship and dark element ships. Chen Rui rose into the sky and caught a glimpse of the 3 dark element ships combining together. The form was undergoing tremendous changes, and it had reached the final juncture. He immediately made up his mind. The power of [Scorching Dragon Possession] was burned to the limit, and a huge black hole appeared above the sea. In an instant, a large amount of sea water, sampans, undead ships, and the rainwater carrying strange power in the sky, were all sucked into the black hole.
After a while, the strength and speed of the black hole’s devour gradually slowed down. There was still a big gap between the effects of [Scorching Dragon Possession] and [Royal Star Transformation]. Obviously, it was strongly interfered with by the territory kingdom power of the other party. Not only that, [Star Devouring], which had not absorbed most of the power previously, soon showed an overflow warning.
At this time, the shout of the Dark Elemental King finally came. Chen Rui ended [Star Devouring] immediately and signaled Strena to fly back together. The 3 dark element ships had transformed into a huge form which was actually the shape of a turtle.
Chen Rui stared at this turtle with a strange expression- Transformers and...Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
I risked my life on the front line for 10 minutes just to let Hegel, no, the great Your Highness Hegel make this ‘secret weapon’?
“You don’t need to be too amazed. It’s just a trivial skill for the dark elementals.” Hegel smiled proudly, “Ask your people to abandon the ship immediately and come to my Dark God Ship!”
Who is amazed? Chen Rui was quite speechless about the Dark Elemental King’s understanding ability, but it was obviously not the time to complain. He immediately ordered the Devil’s Snare Ship to come closer. Then, they quickly used the sampan sling to transfer to what Chen Rui perceived as the strange Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Ship. Following that, Chen Rui waved his hand, and the entire Devil’s Snare Ship disappeared.
Space ability? The surprised red light in Hegel’s eyes flashed slightly. After Chen Rui flew into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Ship, he spread his hands and the 2 winged tortoise shells began to slowly close up and merge layer by layer. The entire ship’s body suddenly became pitch dark.
Next, there was a slight sense of zero-gravity like they were in an elevator. It felt like everything from the outside world was isolated; even the sound of cannon attacks exploding in the nearby waters could not be heard.
The darkness only lasted for a while. Soon, a blue light lit up. At the same time, 5 huge crystal balls appeared on the 4 sides and the center. The crystal ball on all sides showed the situation in 4 directions while the crystal ball in the center was an image similar to a holographic image.
Seeing the scenes shown in those crystal balls, Chen Rui suddenly reacted with a really amazed expression on his face- Submarine?
I don’t feel suffocated in this. The solution to this problem is already “scientific” enough. Recalling the airship that Chen Rui had seen before, he finally looked at the Dark Elemental King, whom he had always prejudiced against, in a different gaze. He lowered his head, “Your Highness, maybe we will still be enemies in the future if we are unlucky. But now I have to praise you from the bottom of my heart that this is really an amazing creation.”.
Facing the ‘enemy’s’ heartfelt admiration, even Hegel inevitably showed a proud expression, “This is nothing. The dark elementals can surprise you more than that.”
The outer shell of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Ship was very hard and could resist all kinds of attacks. Its head and limbs could be stretched in and out. It could also emit a light beam for illumination. The main center part was made of a special water element crystal gifted by the Water Elemental King which enabled the Dark God Ship to use organs similar to ‘gills’ to transform the water energy to provide breathing and propulsion power as well as freely move up or down like many deep-sea creatures.
After briefly showing off the characteristics of the Dark God Ship, Hegel proudly said, “The enemy’s advantage is the quantity and firepower of the sea fleet, but this is the bottom of the water. Even if they can sink in the water like us, those cannons cannot unleash their power.”
Chen Rui’s eyes lit up, “Yes, we can also use a torpedo to destroy the enemy!”
“Torpedo? Destroy the enemy?”
Hegel frowned, “What magic weapon is that?”
“It’s... “energy cannons” that can be launched underwater to explode.” Chen Rui was taken aback, “Could it be there is no such thing on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle... Uh, the Dark God Ship?”
“An explosive power in the water? Are you fooling me?” Hegel’s face was gloomy, “I’m the Dark Elemental King, not the Water Elemental King!”
Chen Rui really wanted to say that this was a scientific problem, and it had nothing to do with the Elemental King of any attribute, but he didn’t understand the torpedo himself. In this indeed unscientific world, he really couldn’t explain too much.
“So are there any weapons to attack the enemy?”
“There is a hatch here from the left.”
“Is there a cannon station or the...harpoon launch pad there?” Chen Rui had already greatly reduced the scientific degree of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Ship in his mind.
“There is a fighting exit. If you want, you can go out and fight against the enemy under the water.”
Chen Rui finally understood. After working for a long time, this is still a kind turtle. There is no weapon to attack at all?
TL: 🤣🤣🤣, it should be a stubborn turtle that doesn’t want to attack in the water.
