Chapter 521 - Inheritance
There were more and more reinforcements coming down from the hole. There were 5 mega mecha, about 400 crystal demonic beasts, and about 100 lamp spirits. According to the situation, it should be the army of the “alchemy civilization” camp.
Chen Rui faintly understood the content of this trial, which was to join the alchemy civilization side and destroy the monsters in this cave.
Although the number of the alchemy civilization army was at a disadvantage, their combat power was much higher than that of the demonic monster army.
The lamp spirits quickly cast the debuff magics, causing the enemy to fall into various unfavorable states. Since the crystal demonic beasts were strong, powerful, and unafraid of fireball and element attacks, they were the main force in close combat. The mega mecha’s combat power was even more invincible. Soon, all these monsters were wiped out.
The cave environment was extremely sturdy, even the power of the Demon Emperor couldn’t shake or cause obvious damage to it. After the fierce battle, there was basically no trace of damage on the cave.
The chest armor of the mega mecha’s leader slowly opened up, and the figure of a woman came out. This woman was tall and thin with delicate facial features and short black hair. Her appearance was the same as that of a normal human. She said a few words to Chen Rui.
Chen Rui knew that these mechas were controlled by a “pilot”, but unfortunately, he couldn’t understand what she said. Seeing that the other party was not hostile, he immediately nodded in a friendly manner.
Nobody knew if the woman understood Chen Rui’s behavior, but she nodded to him and returned to the mecha. The chest armor was closed again. As the leader mecha waved one hand, the crystal demonic beasts quickly rushed forward while the mecha and the lamp spirits followed closely. Chen Rui also followed the group.
Although his injury had recovered a lot, he had not fully healed. In addition, his physical strength was exhausted. If he encountered those enemies again, he would definitely be dead. Following this team was naturally much safer than being alone.
There were more and more Flowers of Abyss along the way. The number of enemies was also increasing. Besides the little monsters with an excellent jump and the berserk horned demonic monsters, 2 more powerful flame women wearing gold-red armor also appeared. They were holding a long whip covered with flames and electric sparks in their hands.
The flame women had reached the Demon Emperor level. Strangely, they didn’t seem to have territory power, but their strength and intelligence were quite terrifying. Not only would them cast the powerful magic, [Fire Wall], but they also had a terrifying skill after using the Flower of Abyss, which was the [Flame Shield] that reflected melee attacks. As long as they weren’t killed in one hit, the [Flame Shield] would inevitably reflect part of the attack. This skill was quite a remarkable “passive attribute”.
Chen Rui spotted the opportunity to make a powerful sneak attack. He knocked down the seriously injured flame woman to the ground, but the flame woman did not die immediately. As a result, Chen Rui was retaliated by his own overlapping strength, and he spat out a mouthful of blood on the spot. Not only Chen Rui, even the crystal demonic beasts and mega mecha had suffered a lot from the flame women.
The mega mecha were too large and moved relatively slowly. They were extremely afraid of the continuously burning [Fire Wall]. Meanwhile, the crystal demonic beasts, which were immune to the [Fire Wall], could hardly resist the power of [Flame Shield] as well as the fiery electric whip. Fortunately, the passive magic of the lamp spirits was still quite useful. In the end, the flame women were annihilated under the siege, and the monsters that they led were wiped out.
After this battle, the alchemy civilization team suffered a heavy setback. 2 mecha were damaged, the pilots died, and the casualties of the lamp spirits and crystal demonic beasts were more than half. With the help of the lamp spirits’ healing technique and buff magic, Chen Rui attacked without scruples. He used his 3 territory powers to the maximum and became more proficient. At the same time, he had a deeper understanding of the fourth territory power.
After 2 more battles along the way, they successfully merged with several friendly teams. There was even a new type of friendly creature. This was a giant crystal demonic beast which was more than 10 meters in length and about 6 meters in height. It looked a bit similar to the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Chen Rui’s memory, but with stronger forelimbs, horns on the head, and bony spurs on the back.
In addition to its great strength, the giant crystal demonic beast could spray a kind of liquid to solidify the enemy into crystals and smash it. This surprised Chen Rui secretly, thinking of the power of the crystal dragon- Is there any special relationship between the crystal dragon and this ancient alchemy civilization’s giant crystal demonic beasts?
The team grew stronger and stronger, and the enemies encountered were also stronger. After several fierce battles, they finally arrived at the final battlefield which was a huge cave, or more accurately, a lair.
The situation in this lair made Chen Rui gasped. At a glance, there were countless monsters. The little monsters that once caused a headache to Chen Rui were only the lowest grade cannon fodder. The number of horned demonic monsters was also astonishing. There were also hundreds of flame women.
What was more terrifying was that the lair was covered with fiery red vines. There were countless Flowers of Abyss on the vines, many of which were still in bud.
At the root of the vine, where the monster was most concentrated, there was a creature that was several times larger than the mega mecha.
This creature was brown and red with a similar appearance to sunflower. It was surrounded by a circle of long tentacles that faintly revealed a red light. There were many fiery red balls around the molten area. Many of them twisted and cracked, revealing the monster body wrapped in mucus. The huge mouth at the centre of the sunflower wriggled for a while, then it spat out a batch of balls. It seemed to be the maternal body that created these monsters.
There had been several batches of alchemy civilization’s soldiers fighting fearlessly against the nearby monsters. Various powerful forces collided with each other, and exaggerated explosions and damage could be seen from time to time. Due to the large number of enemies and the terrifying effect of the Flower of Abyss, the alchemy civilization army was completely at a disadvantage. Even the giant crystal demonic beasts, the creatures with the Demon Overlord-level combat power, couldn’t avoid being defeated.
When the mega mecha man next to Chen Rui pointed at the huge maternal body, the army rushed forward. However, they were soon surrounded by the demonic monsters. The flame women flying in the air waved the terrifying whips, and numerous [Fire Wall] appeared on the ground one by one. The berserk horned demonic monster roared and charged into the group of crystal demonic beasts, and countless mutated little monsters rushed over like a tide.
With Chen Rui’s strength, he could only be regarded as an average in this level of war, but his territory power was very outstanding. Moreover, the [Gravity] bestowed by the Earth Elemental King had unexpected results for the flame women flying in the air.
After the previous few battles, Chen Rui cooperated better with the teammates. There were 3 lamp spirits who “buffed” beside him, the mega mecha controlled by the black-haired woman and a group of crystal demonic beasts. It was a small combat team.
But there were too many enemies, and they were constantly increasing. The monster that had just been created could immediately participate in the battle. The most terrifying matter was a horrifying figure in front of the maternal body. 2 giant crystal beasts finally broke through the line of defense and rushed toward the maternal body. This figure just flickered, and both the giant beasts of Demon Overlord were slashed into several pieces.
This was a strong monster with a ferocious appearance. Its muscle texture was like natural armor, and it had wing-like bone wings on its back. There was fire all over its body, and it was holding a greatsword in its hand. It was this greatsword that killed the 2 giant crystal beasts in the blink of an eye.
Then, several mega mecha and giant crystal beasts of the alchemy civilization rushed to the maternal body. All of them died under the greatsword of this monster. Although the monster was terrifying, it was unwilling to take the initiative to attack. It just guarded in front of the maternal body and killed all those who crossed the boundary.
Chen Rui couldn’t use the Super System now. Therefore, he couldn’t use the snake pattern badge placed in the storage warehouse that could summon the Demi-God powerhouse, Satan. Moreover, the current trial environment was very special; it might not be a real scene. Even if he could use the snake pattern badge, it might not have any effect.
Judging from the all-out attack by the alchemy civilization army, the ultimate goal of this operation was to destroy the source of the monsters and Flowers of Abyss, which was the huge maternal body. This should also be the final task of Chen Rui’s inheritance trial. Chen Rui noticed that the mega mecha rushing to the maternal body was carrying an explosive. After being killed by the greatsword monster, a mega mecha detonated the explosive in advance, causing the surrounding monsters to turn into flying ash. He couldn’t help but to be shocked.
In the desperate fighting regardless of loss, Chen Rui’s team had slowly narrowed the distance between the maternal body, but they were also getting closer to the terrifying greatsword monster.
Another 2 giant crystal beasts died under the greatsword. According to this battle’s trend, it would be a matter of time before the alchemy civilization army was completely wiped out. Chen Rui finally made a decision. He tapped on the leg of the combat team’s mega mecha while making a gesture of pushing out his palm, then he pointed at the maternal body in front again.
After these battles, Chen Rui and the woman had a tacit understanding. The woman immediately understood his intentions and said something that he didn’t understand through some kind of communication device. The lamp spirits on the side immediately passed a high concentration cube into his hand, then the mecha’s huge palm grabbed his body.
At this time, the 3 giant crystal beasts and 4 mega mecha in the team had already rushed to the greatsword monster, and the mecha controlled by the woman followed behind.
After the greatsword monster swung its sword to kill 2 giant crystal beasts, Chen Rui yelled, “Now!”
He didn’t know if the woman understood what he said. The mecha arm holding his body suddenly separated from the torso, and a strong flame was ejected from its end, launching the arm toward the maternal body.
However, the strength of the greatsword monster far exceeded Chen Rui’s imagination. As the mecha arm approached the maternal body, a terrifying feeling suddenly struck Chen Rui’s heart.
This was a hatred that was entrenched deep into the soul. The will were strong enough that it could destroy the world. It was just like the breath that destroyed the world when he was in the underground caves of the Crystal Valley, but now the feeling was clearer and more terrifying.
In an instant, Chen Rui felt that everything was slowing down, and only the swift destruction remained. He instinctively felt that as long as this will of destruction touched him, his whole person would be turned into dust and annihilated.
At the juncture of life and death, all of Chen Rui’s potential was stimulated. Suddenly, the 3 territories of spring, summer and autumn, as well as the [Winter Territory] that had not yet been well-formed, also burst out. He only hoped to block this and be able to buy some time to flash past this overwhelming hatred in order to destroy the maternal body.
It was a pity that Chen Rui’s power was too weak in face of the Demon Overlord powerhouse’s will that could eliminate him instantly. The 4 territories that burst out suddenly form a bizarre cycle, and the peculiar rhythm created by this cycle suddenly stopped everything, including the destructive will, as if they were all still.
The only thing that didn’t stand still was the figure of Chen Rui who was flying forward. This stillness only lasted for 2 seconds before everything around him spinned like a swift motor. In these 2 seconds, Chen Rui had avoided the horrifying hatred power.
Although he avoided the greatsword monster’s killing move directly, the parts were below his knees and the huge arm suddenly broke apart under a mysterious law. Chen Rui resisted the severe pain and used his inertia to continue flying toward the maternal body in front of him. The moment he entered the giant mouth, he activated the explosion cube in his hand.
He felt that his eyes were full of dazzling destruction rays. In an instant, he completely lost his consciousness.
After some time, Chen Rui slowly opened his eyes and found that he was immersed in a kind of container. His body had disappeared. Only a trace of consciousness remained indistinctly.
Day by day, under the effect of the wonderful solution in the container, his soul and body began to regenerate a little bit until he recovered.
What happened next seemed like a real dream. No, this was real.
After the recovery, Chen Rui became the hero of the entire alchemy civilization because of this brilliant record. He gained the great inheritance of the alchemy civilization which improved his strength by leaps and bounds, and he possessed a huge mobile castle.
In the bedroom of the castle, the black-haired beauty who once piloted the mega mecha, with a group of beautiful lamp spirits, served the owner of the castle wholeheartedly with a seductive body.
Cowgirl, pretzel dip, doggy, faced-off... Different kinds of poses made Chen Rui, as the king, immersed in absurdity all day in his harem life.
“Master, what’s the matter? Are you unsatisfied with my service?” A beautiful lamp spirit, who knelt under Chen Rui and served him, saw her master in a daze, so she carefully withdrew her mouth and asked anxiously.
After gaining the inheritance, Chen Rui could already understand their language. He shook his head when he heard the words, “No, you are fine, but I have been thinking about something these days. It seems that I have forgotten something important.”
“Now that the monsters have been wiped out, master doesn’t need to worry.” The lamp spirit said, lowered her head and slowly swallowed the thing, and continued to serve. The comfort of being wrapped in warmth made Chen Rui subconsciously closed his eyes.
At this moment, the appearance of the lamp spirit with silver hair and blue skin changed suddenly, turning into a beautiful girl with short red hair and tan skin. This girl seemed quite familiar to Chen Rui. When he tried to see clearly, she changed back to the lamp spirit’s appearance.
When he had reached the climax, the hot juice was ejected finally. However, the lamp spirit turned back into the familiar red-haired girl. Her face was blushing, and she shook her head while mumbling.
Afterward, the girl frowned while completing the swallowing motion with difficulty. Her bright red eyes flashed with shyness and expectation, “I... willI be pregnant with your child this way?”
Chen Rui was shocked and stood up slowly. This time, he ignored the surprised question from the lamp spirit nearby. He just stared out the window blankly, and his eyes were suddenly moist, “I finally understand what I can’t remember. Damn it. How can I forget the most important thing?”
Chen Rui closed his eyes. It turned out that none of this was real.
It was a dream that he almost couldn’t wake up from. As a person who had experienced [Refined Mind], Chen Rui only needed 1 key point to wake up.
The moment he opened his eyes again, before he could see the surrounding situation clearly, he felt that a powerful soul power was constantly pouring into his brain, and the warning sound of the Super System constantly sounded, “A large number of unknown soul powers have been found. Strength and consciousness are in danger of being overwritten, do you want to activate [Star Devouring] mode?”
Soul power? Consciousness overwrites?
Chen Rui suddenly understood. Damn! What inheritance? This is simply trying to possess my body!
“Activate [Star Devouring] mode!”
The soul power that could overwrite Chen Rui’s consciousness, so it must be above the Demi-God level right?
