Gasps of surprise erupted from the people nearby.
Many of the girls even stopped in their tracks, pulling out their phones to secretly take pictures of Lin Jiang.
When they had been discussing Zhou Sui, they had only whispered among themselves.
But seeing Lin Jiang, they couldn’t help but gasp out loud.
His chiseled abs, sharp V-lines, and lean calves without a trace of fat made it impossible for them to look away.
Even Feng Qi found herself staring at Lin Jiang for a long time.
A physique like that looked like it had come straight out of a manga.
She had always thought it was impossible in real life, never expecting to encounter it today.
Zhou Sui stood rooted to the spot. Although no one was openly comparing him to Lin Jiang, his expression was complex, even annoyed.
The difference in their physiques was obvious at a glance; standing in front of him, there wasn’t even a basis for comparison.
Zhou Sui reflexively glanced over at Feng Qi.
He wished he hadn’t. The sight almost made him lose his composure completely.
He had hoped to attract Zhao Fangfei this way, but now, not only had he failed to catch her attention, he might end up losing his own partner in the process.
"Qiqi, let’s go to the pavilion and put on some sunscreen," Zhou Sui said, his face impassive.
"Didn’t you say there was no rush? Let’s wait for Fangfei a bit."
As she spoke, Feng Qi looked away.
But out of the corner of her eye, her gaze kept drifting over to Lin Jiang.
’A body like that could make a girl drool in more ways than one.’
A few minutes later, Zhao Fangfei came out in her swimsuit, and Zhou Sui’s eyes were immediately drawn to her.
But he didn’t dare look for too long, lest Feng Qi notice.
Afterward, Feng Qi and Zhou Sui went to the pavilion to put on sunscreen, while Lin Jiang and Zhao Fangfei headed to the beach.
Whether a place like the beach is fun or not really depends on who you’re with.
With someone you don’t like, you’ll be bored in minutes.
With your girlfriend, you might get bored after an hour or two.
But with a ’green tea,’ you’d never have that feeling, because it’s non-stop drama.
"Huh? What’s this?"
As they walked to the shore, they saw several signs set up ahead.
"Fishing Festival?"
"I saw a video about this online. It’s an event organized by the resort," Zhao Fangfei said.
"Fishermen sell the fish they catch right here, and you can get it cooked on the spot, so a lot of people come to check it out."
"As long as they’re not passing off fakes, it might be worth buying some to try."
Lin Jiang owned a noodle shop, so he knew a thing or two about ingredients.
Events like this were always a mixed bag. They’d claim the fish was caught right out at sea, but it was highly likely it came from a seafood market.
’We can go check it out tonight.’
When they arrived at the beach, they drew a lot of attention, with both men and women turning to look their way.
The women there grew bolder, constantly sneaking glances at Lin Jiang.
Zhao Fangfei went to the water’s edge, happily splashing her feet. She also took out her phone and snapped a few selfies with Lin Jiang.
They also enjoyed a beachside massage for a bit, and Lin Jiang took a few more pictures for Zhao Fangfei.
After playing on the beach for a while, Lin Jiang looked into the distance. There was a boat rental place, which seemed like it could be fun.
"Fangfei, they have jet skis over there! Let’s go try them out," Feng Qi called out.
Zhao Fangfei glanced at the jet skis out on the water.
"Brother Jiang, do you know how to ride one?"
"I don’t."
Zhao Fangfei looked at Feng Qi. "I’ll pass. You guys go ahead."
’If Lin Jiang knew how to ride one, she would have been willing to go.’
’But she had to maintain her image—a small social circle, a ’clean’ social life. She didn’t want Lin Jiang to see her clinging to another man’s waist while riding one of those things.’
"Come on, give it a try. It’s on me, you guys don’t have to pay," Zhou Sui said.
"Besides, I know how to ride one, so it’ll be a lot easier if you come with me."
"It’s not about the money. I’m just not that into it. You two go ahead."
"Alright, then. We’ll head out. See you in a bit."
"Okay."
The pair left, but Zhou Sui wasn’t as happy as he’d expected to be, since his plan hadn’t worked.
When they got to the jet ski rental, the rules required a staff member to accompany them. But after Zhou Sui paid a larger deposit and signed the relevant waivers, no one stopped him.
"So, honey, how good are you at this?"
Feng Qi said, wrapping her arms around Zhou Sui’s waist from her seat on the back of the jet ski.
"As good as my technique in... other areas."
’Huh?’
’You last three seconds in bed. If your skills here are on the same level, aren’t we going to be drowning in minutes?’
"You’re terrible! Go fast later, I want to feel some excitement."
"Leave it to me. Hold on tight, I’m taking off."
"Mm-hmm."
Zhou Sui started the jet ski and sped off toward the open sea.
After getting some distance from the shore, Zhou Sui slowed down and started heading back toward the beach.
He didn’t go fast on the way back, constantly scanning the beach for Zhao Fangfei. He wanted to show off his skills in front of her.
’If I can get her attention, and then make a move, this whole thing might just work out.’
But after searching for a long time, he still couldn’t see Zhao Fangfei.
’The beach isn’t that big. Where could she have gone?’
He did two more laps, but there was still no sign of Zhao Fangfei.
Because of this, Zhou Sui paid for more time, intending to take the jet ski out for one more thorough search.
"Qiqi!"
Just then, they both heard a shout.
They turned their heads and were stunned to see Zhao Fangfei on a small yacht, waving at them.
Seeing Lin Jiang and Zhao Fangfei on the yacht, Zhou Sui’s face went green with envy.
