"I’ve contacted a few content creators from the dance community. We’re getting ready to enter a jazz competition. If we can win an award, it’ll be a good way to boost their profiles."
"Have you signed them to contracts?"
"I have. I wouldn’t be putting this much effort into it otherwise. They’re definitely worth developing."
"How good are they? Are you confident you can win?"
"We’re aiming for first, hoping for second, and guaranteed at least third," Qiu Yunong said.
"This competition is pretty high-caliber and prestigious. The other competitors have some real talent. But if we don’t get first place, there’s not much point. Everyone only remembers the winner. It’s embarrassing to go around bragging about second or third place."
Based on Qiu Yunong’s description, they had a chance at first place, but it wasn’t a strong one.
’So the question is, how do I get them that first-place trophy?’
’I’ll need a backup plan. If worst comes to worst, I’ll just have to pull some strings.’
"What time is the competition tomorrow?"
"It starts at nine in the morning. Are you going to come, Brother Jiang?"
"I was thinking about it. I happen to be free, so I might as well go watch the show."
"Hehe, then should we meet at the company entrance tomorrow morning?"
"You’re the boss of the company, after all. Do you really need to show up for something like this in person?"
"I have to be there. If something unexpected happens, I can step in as a substitute," Qiu Yunong said with a smile.
"Besides, I have a passion for this stuff. When there’s a competition like this, I just get an itch to join in."
"Then let’s scratch that itch right now."
"I know, I know..."
Having finished their discussion about the competition, Qiu Yunong got down to her real business.
「Two hours later, they were finished.」
He had to admit, "playing cards" in the office had a certain charm.
"Brother Jiang~~~" Qiu Yunong cooed.
"What is it?"
"You haven’t come to see me in so long. Are you busy tonight? I want to have dinner with you."
Seeing Qiu Yunong’s coy expression, Lin Jiang guessed that what she wanted was definitely more than just a simple dinner.
"Do you just want to have dinner? Because if it’s only dinner, I’ll make other plans for afterward."
"Brother Jiang, you’re deliberately bullying me."
"Am I? I’m just asking for your opinion."
"Aiya, I don’t want to *just* have dinner. I want to do something else after."
"And what would that be?"
"Eat you. I want to eat until I’m full."
"You should have just said so. How would I know if you don’t tell me?"
Qiu Yunong twitched her delicate nose. A cute gesture like that, coming from a mature and elegant woman, was incredibly alluring.
"You knew the whole time. You just wanted to make me say it."
"It just shows you don’t understand men. If you want something, you have to say it directly. Don’t make a man guess."
"I know, I know."
Since they had plans for dinner, Lin Jiang wasn’t in a hurry to leave.
He took another look at the company’s internal backend data.
Qiu Yunong really wasn’t one for aggressive expansion. Her overall development strategy was slow and steady.
The advantage of this was a higher tolerance for risk; the disadvantage was that she wouldn’t attract the favor of investors.
「That evening, Qiu Yunong picked a seafood restaurant, and the two of them went out for dinner.」
Qiu Yunong, ever the schemer, ordered an oyster feast and had Lin Jiang eat more than a dozen of them.
"If you’re that eager to die, I can grant your wish. You don’t need this kind of... assistance."
"I want to find out just how amazing you are," Qiu Yunong said softly, resting her chin in her hands.
"I haven’t been slacking on my dancing lately. My stamina has improved a lot. I won’t let you bully me like before."
"Li Zhiyi said the same thing, and she was down for the count after one round."
"I think I’m stronger than Zhiyi, so I have a suggestion."
"I’m listening."
"Let’s just find a hotel near the company for tonight. That way we don’t have to wake up early tomorrow. We can just go downstairs and head straight out. It’ll save a lot of time."
Lin Jiang studied Qiu Yunong, not saying a word.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I don’t think you’re trying to save time. I think you’re hoping to squeeze in a round of ’morning exercise,’ aren’t you?"
"Aiya..."
Her thoughts exposed by Lin Jiang, Qiu Yunong’s face flushed red, and she lowered her head with a bashful look.
"Hurry and eat, Brother Jiang. The oysters here are really good."
After they finished eating, the two returned to the company and booked a nearby hotel.
While Lin Jiang was in the shower, Qiu Yunong walked in. The battle began ahead of schedule...

[You have traversed the Nine-Ring Water Maze. Physique +1.]
Qiu Yunong had been in top form last night; "Nine-Ring Water Maze" was the perfect way to describe it.
The biggest difference from Xu Lin was that she knew tricks Lin Jiang didn’t even know existed, and she could pull off all sorts of difficult positions with ease.
Girls like Qiu Yunong and Li Zhiyi, who knew how to dance, could be developed to a higher level, letting you experience different kinds of pleasure.
When Lin Jiang woke up, he found Qiu Yunong watching him.
"Let me tell you a joke."
"What joke?"
"So, a freezer and a popsicle got into a fight. The popsicle got angry and stormed out of the house. It was a hot day, and the popsicle started sweating a lot. It realized that if this kept up, it would melt. So, it went back to apologize to the freezer. The freezer said..."
"What did the freezer say?"
"’Get on top and make yourself hard.’"
Qiu Yunong froze for a moment, and only then did she seem to understand what he meant.
"Brother Jiang, you’re so bad."
Qiu Yunong’s hand fumbled under the covers, and her soft body climbed on top of Lin Jiang.
But after moving for just a little while, she was already panting.
"I can’t... I don’t have any strength left."
"Giving up so soon?"
"To be honest, I was done for a while ago. I might have overestimated my abilities."
Lying on the bed, Qiu Yunong said weakly:
