Lin Jiang thought the reward looked pretty good.
Beginner should be one level below Basic, but for the average person, it was definitely more than enough. After all, it wasn’t a daily necessity.
’But Shen Yuanhang is obviously a man’s name, so he’s definitely not the genuine, all-natural model I was expecting.’
"Yangyang, there you are. I’ve been looking for you for a while."
A voice came from not far away as a young man in quick-dry athletic wear walked toward them.
Beats headphones and Descente athletic gear.
But his physique didn’t seem to match such professional equipment.
’Probably the same type as Qin Youyou, just an equipment junkie.’
"Mm."
Qin Yangyang looked reluctant, only giving a faint acknowledgment.
’Looking at the approaching man, he guessed this must be Shen Yuanhang.’
’Hmm?’
Lin Jiang was just wondering how to slay this mob when he felt Qin Yangyang grab his arm.
"Let’s go train on the other side."
"I take it he’s one of your suitors?"
"How could you tell?"
"He’s got that ’nice guy’ vibe."
"Why are you complimenting him now?" Qin Yangyang said.
"He’s so annoying. I can’t believe I ran into him even at the gym."
Now Lin Jiang understood why the kill condition was what it was.
Chasing him away would also solve Qin Yangyang’s problem.
"Yangyang, he came looking for me yesterday and specifically asked to sign up for my private training sessions. You don’t think he’s here for you, do you?" Zheng Huiting said in a low voice.
"I don’t know about that, but if he wants to sign up, just take him. It’s free money, might as well take it. Just don’t schedule the two of us together."
"But he said yesterday that he wants to train with you, or he won’t sign up," Zheng Huiting said. "I was going to tell you just now, but I forgot."
"Then just ignore him. I don’t want to see him, period."
"Don’t worry, I know what to do."
Compared to a regular member, Zheng Huiting valued a client like Qin Yangyang much more.
"Yangyang, why are you leaving? It’s rare we run into each other, let’s work out together," Shen Yuanhang said, catching up to them.
Lin Jiang shook his head. ’Being this pushy never seals the deal.’
’Acting like a simp... that’s just pathetic, bro.’
"I have a private session, so I can’t train with you. Sorry."
With that, Qin Yangyang pulled Zheng Huiting into the private training room, bringing Lin Jiang along with her.
Although the private training room was a relatively exclusive area where others weren’t allowed, the rules were flexible and not that strictly enforced.
"Mr. Shen, we’re about to start our private session, so you can’t..."
At times like this, you didn’t need to finish the sentence. Any normal person would get the hint.
Shen Yuanhang ignored Zheng Huiting and looked at Lin Jiang instead.
"This guy signed up for private training with you too? They’re taking the class together?"
"Yes."
Zheng Huiting reacted quickly, helping Qin Yangyang smooth things over.
"We’re starting our session now, so if you could..."
"It’s just a private session, right? I’ll sign up too. Put me down for 100 sessions to start."
"Well..."
Zheng Huiting looked troubled. "I can only train two people at a time, so... I’m sorry, Mr. Shen."
"Zheng Huiting, you’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?"
Shen Yuanhang said impatiently, "You just don’t want me training here, right?"
"I’m just a trainer. I’d be more than happy to have you. How could I not want you to train here?" Zheng Huiting said with a placating smile. "If you’d like to sign up, I can train you right after I’m done with them. How does that sound?"
"No, I want to train with Yangyang."
At that moment, Shen Yuanhang was in full-on simp mode, completely ignoring the way Qin Yangyang was rolling her eyes to the heavens.
’Compared to the previous Wu Guangming, Shen Yuanhang was definitely an upgraded version—Tier 1, for sure, but still not quite top of the meta.’
"Your sessions are 280 each, right? Put me down for 100."
"Well..." Zheng Huiting looked troubled. "Mr. Shen, this is private training. I really can’t handle too many people at once, and it’s not allowed."
"So you’re turning down an opportunity to make money? You really think I have money I can’t spend?"
Saying this, Shen Yuanhang looked toward the door and yelled, "Any personal trainers available? I want to sign up!"
Seeing a big spender walk right in, a jacked-up trainer came jogging over.
"Sir, are you looking to sign up for private training?"
"Yeah. How much are your sessions?"
"280 per session. Buy 50 and get 10 free, buy 100 and get 30 free."
"I’ll take 100 sessions. But I want to start right now, right next to them. Can you make that happen?"
"Of course! You can train wherever you want. Not a problem at all."
"Go draw up the contract. I’ll scan the code to pay when you’re done."
"You got it!"
The jacked-up trainer jogged off to prepare the contract. Shen Yuanhang didn’t leave, instead crossing his legs and watching Qin Yangyang.
"Yangyang, now we can work out together."
"Whatever."
Qin Yangyang decided not to engage with him any further. Even if she left now, he would just follow her out.
"Come on, let’s get started."
Qin Yangyang moved next to Lin Jiang. They stood so close their bodies were almost touching, and their Affinity rose sharply.
"There’s a fee for using me as a human shield. You can settle the bill later."
"Oh, come on, just help me out."
The two began their fat-burning workout, which mainly consisted of a warm-up aerobics routine.
Just then, the jacked-up trainer returned. With a wave of his hand, Shen Yuanhang signed the contract and paid the 28,000.
"I’ll do whatever they’re doing."
"You got it!"
Faced with a big spender who had just bought 100 sessions, the jacked-up trainer was so enthusiastic and attentive he was practically bending over backward.
Qin Yangyang chose to ignore this display, keeping her focus entirely on Lin Jiang.
"I gotta say, your stamina is pretty good. We’ve been jumping around for so long, but you’re not even out of breath."
