Blue Star Xia calendar 8550 years, Lingfa Star
They lost many experts, and Xuan Fa and others took nearly a hundred years to escape back to Lingfa Star. Although they wanted to control the spread of news, with so many Soul Lamps going out, it was impossible to keep it quiet.
On the third day after Xuan Fa returned to Foyin Temple, several powerful Bodhisattvas came to visit, and Xuan Fa had no choice but to meet with them.
Faced with everyone’s questioning, Xuan Fa could not hide the truth and had to tell the whole story of the battle.
In fact, even now, Xuan Fa does not understand how they lost. The information they gathered was accurate; the enemies occupying Lingjing Star were not very strong, with only a few dozen experts appearing.
However, they knew too little about the enemy’s technological weapons. How could the enemy’s attacks be so fierce from tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of miles away? If those technological weapons were magical treasures, how did they forge them?
A few others listening, just as confused as Xuan Fa, could not imagine how the Stargate Secret Technique was intercepted. To set up a confinement formation the size of hundreds of thousands of miles in the starry sky, how much energy would it require?
They also could not imagine how the Buddhist cultivators of Lingfa Star were killed in large numbers without having encountered the enemy. Were they too weak, or were the enemies too strong?
"Martial Brother Xuan Fa, do you know that if this came from someone else, I would never believe it? I would think they were trying to fool us into being foolish."
A Bodhisattva said directly, if it weren’t for what Xuan Fa personally said, and if so many Buddhist cultivators had not fallen, they would never believe it no matter what.
"Martial Brother Xuan Fa, the enemy is so strange and strong, if they attack, what should we do to defeat them?"
"Martial Brother Xuan Fa, I am also worried about this. Although our Lingfa Star is far from Lingjing Star, it is not unreachable. If the enemy comes, can we win?"
Some Bodhisattvas were concerned, wondering what they would do if the enemy attacked like this, could they win?
"Amitabha, I don’t know."
At this moment, Xuan Fa was still very confused and could not calm down to think of a way to defeat the enemy.
The few of them exchanged glances, and their eyes reflected dissatisfaction and disdain towards Xuan Fa. They even wondered if Xuan Fa had lost his courage because of the enemy.
"It seems the enemy is very tricky. We cannot solve this ourselves; we must report it to Ling Star."
A Bodhisattva said, thinking about themselves: if they were attacked by the enemy and won, would they just stand by? Of course not, they would definitely find a way to fight back.
So they must prepare for the future. Since the enemy’s methods are strange and they cannot solve the enemy, they can only report it to the higher-level true Buddhas to come up with a solution.
"I also think we should talk more with Fa Kong. Fa Kong has been on Lingjing Star for many years and knows a lot about it."
A Bodhisattva also spoke up, and now they realized that they knew too little about Lingjing Star, while Fa Kong, who understood it the most, was still imprisoned by them.
Canglan Star
Ming’an also returned to Canglan Star. It took him a long time. Even with mystical techniques similar to Stargate, traveling between Canglan Star and Lingjing Star was still a huge effort for him.
Like Lingfa Star, Canglan Star is a hundred times larger than Lingjing Star. There are many sects on Canglan Star, but among them, there are also some that are larger and some that are smaller. There are five major sects on Canglan Star, each with over a hundred thousand disciples, filled with talented individuals, and many seniors from these sects have ascended to the Heavenly Court, giving them strong support.
Ming’an comes from one of the five major sects of Canglan Star, the Cangxing Sect, and he is a high-ranking Supreme Elder of the Cangxing Sect.
As soon as he returned to Cangxing Sect, the other Supreme Elders came to find Ming’an. They were very curious about his experiences on Lingjing Star, and they knew a lot about the existence of Lingjing Star.
This time, Ming’an secretly went to Lingjing Star with a mission. His task was to persuade them to join the Heavenly Court, and gathering information about Lingjing Star’s power was also part of his mission.
Ming’an did not hide anything from his fellow brothers. He shared everything he saw and heard on Lingjing Star, but the several Transmigration Stage disciples were confused and clearly did not believe him.
Ming’an did not waste time. He took out a stack of Image Saving Talismans and activated them one by one. The contents of these talismans were what he had filmed on Lingjing Star.
There was a lot of filmed content, including some top-secret places where filming was not allowed, which Ming’an secretly captured. Of course, with Ming’an’s current knowledge, he couldn’t understand much about these secret places, and even if he did, it would be useless, as Canglan Star had no industrial base to recreate them.
"Martial Brother Ming’an, these tall buildings are quite interesting. Canglan Star also has houses that are hundreds of feet high, but they don’t look this good."
"Martial Brother Ming’an, how are these magical items made? I see normal people using them."
"Martial Brother Ming’an, are these farmlands? Why are they so neat...?"
"Martial Brother Ming’an, are these puppets? How do they look so beautiful? Didn’t you buy a few back?"
The several Transmigration Stage disciples looked at the content of the Image Saving Talismans and became very curious, asking question after question, while Ming’an’s face darkened.
He showed these people the adventurous footage to spark their curiosity. Come on, seeing a small part can reveal the whole picture. He wanted them to understand the special qualities of Lingjing Star.
"Martial Brother, every detail here has great meaning and is special. My younger brother did not take these pictures out of boredom."
"Martial Brother Ming’an, please teach me."
"Okay, look at this farmland. This is the simplest kind of spiritual land, growing the same spiritual rice as ours. But do you know how much spiritual rice this field can produce? According to their data, it yields twenty thousand pounds per acre. By the way, their acres are half the size of ours, and their weight measurement is slightly smaller, but..."
"This is their school. Most children on Lingjing Star, regardless of gender or wealth, must start school at the age of seven, and they are tested for Spiritual Roots at twelve. Do you know how many students there are each year in a city with a population of ten million, and how many of them have Spiritual Roots...?"
"This is their university. The openness of their culture is simply unheard of. Even the best cultivation methods can be shared for everyone to learn. These university students are usually only in their twenties or thirties, yet they are all well-read and talented..."
"This is their factory. This factory produces robots, which are like our puppets, but their robots are much stronger than our puppets. These humanoid puppets can fly and move like a Soul Changing Stage cultivator, and the Lingjing Star factory can produce... every thirty days..."
"This is their computer, also known as a PC. It is said that it houses a life form called artificial intelligence, similar to the spirit race. Even those at the Transmigration Stage greatly fear it and constantly limit its abilities, which are beyond imagination..."
"This is their Space Battleship, and this one is the largest, measuring thirty miles long. It has a living space inside that can hold millions of people. This is a scene of the Space Battleship facing the Lingfa Star Buddhist cultivator. I risked my life to secretly capture this. Look, even from tens of thousands of miles away, they can launch an attack equal to the full power of the Soul Changing level. Don’t underestimate this kind of attack; once they focus their fire, even someone at the Transmigration Stage wouldn’t be able to block it."
"Look, this is the Bodhisattva of the Buddhist gate. He has been hit by the Space Battleship’s firepower dozens of times, and all his protective shields and defense treasures have been shattered..."
Ming’an picked out a part of the Image Saving Talisman and slowly explained it to them. Everyone immediately put away their smiles and became serious. As they listened further, their expressions grew very heavy.
"Martial Brother Ming’an, is this the technology of Lingjing Star? It is so powerful."
"What I have seen is just the tip of the iceberg. There is much more that they do not let me see, such as their cross-border teleportation array. It is said to be the peak of combining technology and cultivation, able to fix Stargate technology and use it like a teleportation array. They won’t let me see it at all."
"This..."
"Do you know about the speed of light and light-years? The speed of light is..."
"Martial Brother Ming’an, is this the reason why Lingfa Star cannot compete with Lingjing Star?"
"Yes, I can assure you that on this journey to Lingjing Star, the shock my junior brother experienced was immense. The power of the human race from Lingjing Star is unfathomable and cannot be judged by ordinary standards. This time, I returned to wait for our ancestor to report to the Heavenly Court. I fear that the entire Heavenly Court will have to rethink the existence of Lingjing Star."
Ming’an said, now he understood why Lingjing Star was not so quick to agree to join the Heavenly Court. They have the confidence. And as for the Heavenly Court, they might need to offer a much higher price to recruit Lingjing Star.
Of course, in Ming’an’s heart, he didn’t think that Heavenly Court was any less than Lingjing Star. The strength of Lingjing Star was only greater than that of ordinary cultivators like them. If it came to the immortal stage, how could a mere immortal from Lingjing Star compete with the whole Heavenly Court?
