In the year 5906 of the Huaxia calendar, in the third month, the Huaxia Federation built its first aircraft carrier, named Emperor Xia, to honor the first monarch of the Huaxia dynasty.
In May, the aircraft carrier Emperor Xia formed a carrier battle group, sailed to the battlefield, and engaged in combat with the Allied naval forces. From hundreds of kilometers away, they launched aircraft to bomb the Allied battleships. In this battle, three Allied battleships were destroyed without any casualties to the Federations fleet, achieving a decisive victory.
This battle proved the combat effectiveness of aircraft carriers, changed the naval warfare tactics, and shocked the Allied forces. They immediately ordered a halt to all battleship construction and started to build aircraft carriers instead.
The Huaxia Federation accelerated the construction of aircraft carriers, announcing plans to build twenty aircraft carriers and convert fifty merchant ships for war. They ramped up their war efforts with full force.
In September of the Xia calendar year 5906, heavy bombers were successfully developed by the Huaxia Federation. These bombers had a range of 10,000 kilometers and could take off from deep within Huaxia Federation’s territory. They bombed Infinite Island, which was occupied by the Allied forces. After several bombings, the defense of Infinite Island suffered heavy losses, greatly reducing the threat to the Huaxia coast.
In November of the same year, the Green Cloud Republic launched a winter campaign, assembling four million troops from the Green Cloud Republic and the Huaxia Federation to counter the Allied forces. A fierce battle took place in the northern regions of the Green Cloud Republic.
By February of the following year, the battle ended with both sides sustaining casualties of over a million. Unable to continue fighting, they retreated to their respective defensive lines. At this point, the Allied forces were halted, and the war entered a stalemate.
In the year 5907 of the Xia calendar, a military enterprise controlled by Lin Jiang produced a new type of heavy tank secretly named the Tiger. It went into battle and won its first fight, with five Tiger tanks defeating thirty medium tanks from the Allied nations, resulting in a score of 0-25. Only five tanks managed to escape.
Tiger tank won a big victory, the Allied countries urgently ordered three hundred more. Lin Jiang’s military factory instantly became famous and became one of the most important weapons factories in the Huaxia Federation.
In October of the same year, Lin Jiang’s biological laboratory successfully experimented with penicillin and could start mass production. The first batch of penicillin was used on the battlefield and had a significant effect. The Huaxia Federation classified penicillin as a top strategic material, where on the black market, one penicillin could be traded for a three-two ounce gold bar.
In the year 5908 of the Xia calendar, after two years, the Huaxia Federation launched twenty warships (including converted merchant ships) to engage in a naval battle with the Allied forces in the Endless Sea.
At this time, the Allied forces only had three aircraft carriers, with the rest being battleships. The Allied forces suffered a major defeat as their naval surface forces were severely damaged, losing control of the seas. However, their submarine forces remained fierce.
In May of the same year, three army groups of the Zhou Liao United States turned against each other on the battlefield. The defense of the capital of the Zhou Liao United States failed, leading to the capital relocating to the misty mountain city in the south. The situation on the eastern front became critical, but at a crucial moment, two million expeditionary forces from the Huaxia Federation arrived to stabilize the situation.
In August, bombers from the Allied forces departing from the old capital of the Zhou Liao United States bombed Jingdu City of the Huaxia Federation, leading to an aerial battle where thousands of planes fought in the sky. It was the largest aerial battle in history. The Huaxia Federation suffered massive losses in their air force and was unable to continue the fight. In the following months, Jingdu City was bombed repeatedly.
In September, three congress members of the Huaxia Federation were killed in the air raid. Calls for the relocation of the capital suddenly arose, putting the Huaxia Federation in a critical situation.
In December, the radar controlled by Lin Jiang successfully passed the testing and was installed in the outskirts of Jingdu City. It effectively warned of enemy aircraft attacks, buying crucial time for the Huaxia Federation. The radar became a secret weapon of the Federation.
In the following February, the Federation launched a retaliatory plan. Five aircraft carrier battle groups stormed into the northern sea, breaking through the blockade of the Allied submarines, and bombed the Republic of Yunyan, one of the Allied countries.
In the Xia calendar in May of the year 5909, the Huaxia Federation equipped new weapons Death Charge Gun (AK47) and Death Heavy Machine Gun (six-barrel Gatling), which shone on the battlefield for the first time. After that, they accelerated the speed of equipping 200,000 Death Charge Guns per month.
In the following March, the Huaxia Federation developed a new type of anti-submarine aircraft and anti-submarine ship, putting them into actual combat, to restrain the fierce momentum of the Allied submarine forces.
In May, the Allied countries basically controlled the sea power and began to support other allied countries, leading to a reversal of the situation on the overseas battlefield.
In October, the Huaxia Federation equipped the first generation of multiple rocket launchers, which were named Katyusha, through the operation of mysterious forces.
In December, in order to counter the winter counterattack by the Allied countries, the Allied countries launched a new chemical warfare. The frontline armies of the Allied countries suffered heavy losses. As a retaliation, the Allied countries decided to develop even more vicious weapons.
In March of the year 5910 in the Huaxia calendar, the Allied countries, armed with a large number of new weapons, prepared for a decisive battle with the Allied nations.
After several months of preparation, the Allied countries mobilized 500 army groups, 100,000 aircraft, 80,000 artillery pieces, 30,000 tanks and armored vehicles, and over 20 million troops. They launched a counterattack against the Allied nations from three fronts in the east, west, and central regions. The Allied nations also gathered their strength to fight back.
In Zhongjiang Province, at Lin Jiang’s headquarters, the secretary marked out the positions of both the enemy and our side on the map.
"Sir, according to the experts we hired, the Allies have about a 70% chance of winning this battle. Even if they lose, they can still severely damage the enemy. Comparing the strength of both sides, the Allies can afford to lose, but the Axis cannot."
"It would be best if we can win."
Lin Jiang nodded in agreement. The strength of both countries was incomparable. Excluding the colonial independent countries, when comparing the military power of the Axis of Five and the Alliance of Three Countries, the population of the Alliance of Three Countries is about four billion, while the Axis of Five has just over one billion. As for the others, their strength and military power are too weak, no matter how many people they have.
Lin Jiang hoped that the Allies would win because he knew that the Huaxia Federation had gathered most of the excellent scientists from the Allied countries last year to develop a weapon capable of annihilating the enemy in one fell swoop – nuclear weapons. If they lost, nuclear weapons would come into play.
"Sir, here is the latest list of high-level executives from several companies for you to review."
Shortly after, the secretary brought out a list, and Lin Jiang looked it over, crossing out some names.
The companies under Lin Jiang’s control had expanded too quickly. Even though most of the upper management had been brainwashed by him, some may still become arrogant. Once they became arrogant, they would encounter all sorts of accidents, like falling off a cliff, sudden death, or choking.
"I managed to recruit some senior trainers from the federal intelligence agency to secretly train a group of advanced intelligence personnel. You will be in charge of this force in the future, integrating the undercover agents I have."
Lin Jiang later said that now his main source of information was from people who had been brainwashed and reported, a bit like a spy system, but this system was not very reliable, so Lin Jiang was ready to establish a more rigorous intelligence organization.
The technology in this area is already very advanced, the special agents of the Huaxia Federation are already active all over the world, Lin Jiang has recruited a few instructors, ready to specialize in training, and Lin Jiang needs a chief in charge.
"Sir, may I?"
The secretary was somewhat unsure, for this kind of thing, one wouldn’t dare let go if not a close relative.
"You may, come to my room tonight, I will teach you how to do it."
Lin Jiang nodded, the secretary’s face immediately showed a blush, nodding somewhat shyly.
Lin Jiang was serious, continuing to discuss official business, dealing with men and women requires different methods, with men he could talk to them about ideals, beliefs, future prospects, most of them could be restrained using these.
But with women, it’s different, most of them are very emotional, so you need to use other methods, like making them Lin Jiang’s women. Thɪs chapter is updatᴇd by novel fire.net
This method is a bit dirty, but very effective, as someone once said, the best way to get into a woman’s heart is through that.
Lin Jiang has seen many examples of this. He once worked for a boss who owned seven or eight companies, and all the managers and finance staff in each company were either his relatives or his lovers. His main job was to favor these women, even if he couldn’t perform well in bed, he still had to please them. Sleeping with them became his main way of gaining their trust.
Lin Jiang is the same now. All his secretaries are women, and he uses similar methods. Sometimes Lin Jiang himself gets tired of it, but there’s nothing he can do. These methods work too well. Women in this era are still quite conservative. Once they become your wives, they take on the role of the leading lady and work wholeheartedly for you. If they marry someone else, Lin Jiang becomes uneasy.
Looking at the documents in his hand, Lin Jiang is very satisfied. His plans in all aspects are going very smoothly. His enterprises have basically undergone transformation, making them stronger through wars.
However, these enterprises are still unable to form a strong financial group. The older generation is still around, and Lin Jiang doesn’t expect to achieve this in a few years or even a dozen years. The real opportunity will come after the war.
After the war, the main focus of each country will definitely be on economic development. Lin Jiang will take the initiative to start the third technological revolution, using technology to overtake others in the curve, and leave those old predecessors behind on the beach.
"No hurry, no hurry, spiritual energy recovery hasn’t started yet, there’s still time for everything."
Lin Jiang said slowly. Ironically, he now hopes that the spiritual energy recovery won’t happen so quickly. At least he wants to wait until he has control over the world.
