Hu Jixi watched from the side, gasping as if the dummy being cut was himself; if a real person took such a blow, their intestines would probably be severed.
Next, with the third sword strike, Dog slit the throat with his blade, and then swiftly slashed at the dummy’s neck with the other side of the sharp blade, the sword slicing halfway into the dummy’s neck.
Withdrawing the sword, Dog clearly enjoyed the cut immensely, his mouth forming a slight smile as he tilted his head and said: "That’s an A."
Li Younan felt an urge to laugh.
It’s quite good, it’s clear that Dog is genuinely enjoying being a judge in this show.
His eyes not only show a love for the show, but also a passion for smithing.
Others might join the show for fame or money; for some reason, Dog is certainly partly in it for addiction.
Next up for testing was Dali Ben’s weapon.
In the first round of strength testing, Dali Ben’s West Wave Sword also excelled.
The first two chops from Nelson had the same effect as Hu Jixi’s sword, but the last strike on the horn directly penetrated halfway through, clearly showing that in terms of strength, this sword has relatively higher destructive power.
Raised up for examination, the blade showed not a nick or dent.
However, in Beck’s sharpness test, Dali Ben fell slightly short; despite a determined strike, the first two cotton ropes were severed, but the third showed minimal damage.
But thinking about it, it makes sense; after all, from the design, Hu Jixi’s sword inherently has a sharpness advantage.
Next, it’s Dog’s practical combat test again; it’s not Dog’s first test with Dali Ben’s weapon. A series of spectacular stabs and a final reverse slash nearly cut halfway into the neck, nearly indistinguishable from Hu Jixi’s sword.
Once the testing was over, Dog showed a look of lingering satisfaction on his face, smiling in contentment: "That’s an A."
And next up, it was finally time for Li Younan’s sword.
Nelson held Li Younan’s extraordinary sword, taking a deep breath.
This sword is slightly heavier than the other two, but its excellent weight distribution made it even easier to exert force when held.
Beck laughed heartily from the side: "How does it feel, mate?"
Nelson remained silent, raising the sword high above his head, with the tip steadily aimed at the bull’s skull.
At that moment, he felt something strange, difficult to describe, as if the sword was an extension of his arm.
He sank his shoulders and elbow, slicing the sword vertically downwards!
The next moment, Nelson’s eyes widened.
And the host and the other two judges who were watching from the side were similarly stunned instantly—
There was no expected scene of shattering bone; instead, the dark blade, in a silent and powerful stance, deeply wedged into the hard bull’s bone.
Overwhelming strength, a result that only the combined power and ultimate sharpness could produce!
Nelson withdrew the sword, hardly adjusting his stance, riding the smooth rebound feel, the second strike cut down again with greater force! This time, with a muffled sound of "cha", the bull’s skull was nearly cleaved in two.
In the heat of the cut, his movements were fluid like flowing water; with a flip of his wrist, the third strike lifted upward, precisely slashing at the thick base of the bull’s horn.
The horn snapped with a sound, like butter cut by a hot knife, the break so seamlessly smooth it was unbelievable.
Then, Nelson eagerly raised the sword to his eyes, seeing the black blade still smooth as new, without a single scratch or trace of bone remnants.
Hu Jixi and Dali Ben couldn’t help but exchange glances.
Nelson shook his head with a complex expression because, honestly, he could hardly understand how this sword could be so incredibly strong... this was almost a weapon of a different league compared to the previous two.
He handed the sword to Beck, who was already itching to try it out.
Beck laughed heartily: "I feel this sword will deliver unbelievable results."
Beck took a deep breath, firmly grounding his feet, exerting force from his waist, and as before, with all his strength, slashed horizontally at the five cotton ropes strung in a line.
The next moment, a breathtaking event occurred—there was virtually no expected fiber resistance as the sword edge passed; a series of faint "shh" sounds quickly converged, one, two, three, four, five: the five cotton ropes silently severed evenly before the blade!
The cut surface was as precise as if made by the most precise instrument.
Having used full force, when the sword passed effortlessly through the last cotton rope, Beck staggered forward, almost wrenched his old waist.
The host exclaimed: "Oh my God!"
Beck, holding his waist while helplessly smiling bitterly, "It’s too unbelievable, it’s yours now, I think I don’t need to explain much anymore."
Then he handed the sword to Dog.
Dog was naturally eager already; instead of immediately slashing at the dummy, he swiftly lunged and swirled the sword in the air, producing fast, crisp swooshing sounds.
The weight distribution and design were simply perfect.
Dog was enamored, playing with it lovingly.
Fortunately, he remembered it was competition time, finally fixing his gaze on the dummy, his eyes genuinely showing a hint of killing intent.
He stepped forward, his wrist vibrating rapidly, performing a set of stabbing moves as fluid as clouds and flowing water: the sword consistently plunged precisely into the dummy’s torso, clean and swift.
However, the final strike was the key...
He swayed slightly, the blade turning into an ebony light as it passed over the dummy’s throat, promptly pulling back with force in a reverse motion, conducting a fierce horizontal slash at the same spot.
The blade traversed unhindered, smoothly from one side of the neck to the other.
Shortly after, the dummy’s head quivered slightly, sliding down along the smooth cut and dropping to the ground with a "thud".
Dog briefly closed his eyes, seemingly savoring the wonderful feeling from earlier, before finally opening his eyes, letting out a sigh, and saying: "That’s an A!"
