After getting rid of that unreasonable woman, Li Younan certainly didn’t plan to let this matter end immediately. He was committed to his words and was determined to make the woman receive the deserved punishment, so she would learn a lesson.
This time, it was almost the elderly and children who were harmed, but thanks to Liu Li’s heroism, a tragedy was avoided.
Yet, if such irresponsible dog owners don’t restrain themselves and continue without a leash, who’s to say another innocent person won’t suffer next?
Li Younan himself doesn’t dislike dogs; he actually loves intelligent little animals and has thought about traveling the world with a dog... though for now, it remains just a thought.
But while fond of dogs, he also knows clearly that dogs, after all, are beasts without opened intelligence. As long as it’s a beast, it possesses beastly nature.
One must always be wary of the beastly nature of animals.
He called the lawyer who previously helped him with the lawsuit against Old Xu. Although this type of lawyer likely doesn’t care about such small cases, he surely has friends or students in the circle, willing to accept such small commissions at the start of their careers.
After spending ten or so minutes settling this matter, Li Younan leisurely returned to the ward.
When he returned to the ward, Li Younan had a faint smile on his face.
Liu Yu stood up and asked, "How did it go?"
Li Younan shrugged and said, "I reasoned with him, earnestly persuaded him, he’s already realized his mistake from the heart, sincerely apologized, and the matter is considered concluded."
Of course, Liu Yu didn’t believe Li Younan’s nonsense. He seriously glanced at Li Younan but didn’t ask further.
At this moment, Liu Li was already asleep; she really is quite the sleepyhead.
Liu Yu said, "The doctor said we need to observe a bit more, but she’ll be able to discharge by tonight."
Li Younan nodded: "Then I won’t disturb her rest."
Li Younan and Liu Yu went out together to give Liu Li a quiet resting environment. Naturally, they didn’t go far, just stood at the ward door.
At this point, Li Younan simply explained his handling method.
Liu Yu nodded, his expression somewhat cold as he said, "That dog had better not appear in the neighborhood without a leash. If I encounter it," he glanced at Li Younan and said, "I’ll stomp it to death."
Li Younan laughed heartily, saying, "Why scare me?"
Nevertheless, Li Younan shrugged, saying, "In the end, it’s the dog owner’s problem; unfortunately for the dog to have such an owner."
Liu Yu didn’t rebut Li Younan, nor did he plan to continue discussing this topic. He took out his phone and said, "I just saw something interesting." Then handed the phone to Li Younan.
Li Younan glanced at it, seeing a casting notice from the Alone in the Wilderness program crew in China.
Li Younan naturally has watched this program. As a somewhat bored science and engineering guy for a long time, besides the Sword Forging Competition, Alone in the Wilderness is one of his favorite shows.
He’s naturally also thought about if he were in such an environment, how he would survive...
Actually, with his current abilities, surviving in such a game-filled survival environment like Alone in the Wilderness would be quite easy.
Liu Yu smiled and asked, "What do you think?"
Li Younan curiously asked, "About what?"
Liu Yu said, "Look at the conditions in this video. Aside from survival skills, ideally, one should have some social media following and online influence, which perfectly fits your persona."
"Hmm, do you have any thoughts on this?"
Li Younan didn’t even need to think and shook his head: "None."
Liu Yu curiously asked, "None at all? I actually think participating in this show is a type of travel."
Li Younan nodded, saying, "That’s true. To me, survival isn’t a difficult task. After all, as you know, standing in front of you is a sharpshooter, a top-notch cook, who’s also proficient in woodworking and extremely physically strong..."
Li Younan calmly narrated, while Liu Yu’s mouth subtly twitched. He shook his head and interrupted: "Cut to the chase."
Li Younan laughed heartily and then turned somewhat serious: "But, with my current skills, participating in this show is still survival, not living."
Liu Yu was stunned, quickly comprehended Li Younan’s meaning, his expression became odd, and after a while, he looked somewhat dejectedly at Li Younan, saying, "You’re being a bit arrogant."
Li Younan chuckled, saying, "If I were to attend this show, it could result in ’Li Younan’s Wilderness Leisure Life.’ Then maybe I would consider participating. Just imagine, traveling in the wild for free for some time is quite interesting."
Liu Yu merely brought it up casually, understanding there’s a high probability that Li Younan wouldn’t participate in this program... what a joke, a program with prizes worth 500 thousand US Dollars or even millions. To live leisurely, isn’t it ridiculous?
But different from what Liu Yu thought, Li Younan actually did consider participating in this program.
For him, the biggest issue isn’t food, clothing, shelter, but the loneliness of being in such an environment for a long time.
Previously, a very strong contestant voluntarily withdrew from the competition after enduring loneliness for a long time.
Li Younan considers himself as someone who can handle solitude, but similarly lacks confidence in staying in such an environment for long.
Because in a modern environment, someone who can endure solitude has a precondition... they simply lack human communication, not that they can’t access external information.
While the setting of Alone in the Wilderness dictates that you cannot receive external information.
Li Younan imagined that if he joins the show, the first 30 days should be okay. In the process of building shelters and outsmarting prey, one can find enjoyment.
But later, as life becomes increasingly monotonous, how to combat loneliness is a matter that needs serious consideration.
However, thinking about it, if he really were to participate, treating it as a vacation, and if he feels uncomfortable, withdrawing directly seems acceptable too.
But Li Younan knew very well that this so-called talent-selection program often had predetermined candidates, so even if he really wanted to participate, they might not necessarily want him.
After Li Younan and Liu Yu left, Liu Li secretly opened her eyes in the ward, then adjusted her posture, placing her head on the pillow, raising it a bit higher, and looked at the empty ward with a slight sigh.
Indeed, after her brother and Li Younan left, this kind of environment still made her very uncomfortable.
She covered her head with the blanket, but after two minutes of feeling suffocated, she sheepishly uncovered it.
Her mind was filled with the image of Li Younan.
Unexpectedly... in the end, she still met him in this way.
Just a moment ago, she was somewhat surprised.
Li Younan standing in the ward gave her almost the same feeling as her brother standing there; there were none of those dreadful symptoms like palpitations and panic, just like an old friend she had known for a long time.
In a strange environment, having someone who could make her feel secure significantly eased her discomfort.
However, this experience still proved that she was unable to overcome the barrier and enter a spacious environment like a plaza.
After lying down for a while, she began to feel an inexplicable anticipation.
On one hand, since Li Younan came in with her brother, it was still uncertain whether the sense of security was brought by her brother or Li Younan.
On the other hand, since suffering psychological trauma, she hadn’t been alone with anyone else, brothers naturally don’t count.
In her relatively short life, there hadn’t been a period of rebellion, yet now a bit of rebellious emotion had accumulated, wanting to be unleashed.
Thinking of this, she suddenly called out, "Brother, brother."
Upon hearing her call, Liu Yu quickly opened the door and came in.
Liu Li’s face showed a slight blush as she said, "Brother, come over a bit, I want to discuss something with you."
Liu Yu softly raised an eyebrow and walked to Liu Li’s bedside.
Liu Li organized her words before speaking: "Brother, could you let Li Younan come in alone?"
Liu Yu was momentarily stunned, feeling a sudden jolt in his heart, then he frowned: "No."
"Why not? I mean I want to experiment to see if Li Younan would make me uncomfortable. If I can accept him, wouldn’t that be a major step towards recovery?"
Liu Yu hesitated a bit, saying with some suspicion, "Is that the only reason?"
Liu Li looked oddly at her brother: "What else could there be?"
Her innocent question made Liu Yu momentarily ashamed of his thoughts, realizing he’d overthought things.
He touched his nose, coughed: "Oh, well... let’s let him come in and give it a try."
After speaking, he walked slowly to the door, glanced at Li Younan, sighed slightly, and said: "My sister asked you to come in alone."
Li Younan said curiously: "Why does she want me to come in alone?"
Liu Yu said discontentedly: "Are you afraid my sister will eat you?"
Recognizing some disapproval in Liu Yu’s tone, Li Younan obediently went in.
When Li Younan entered, Liu Li confirmed something; the feeling of security earlier had nothing to do with her brother.
She was somewhat involuntarily happy; perhaps this really meant there was a possibility for improvement in her condition.
Although doctors had already informed of ways to improve, and she was able to calmly face the setting of having a psychological illness, actively cooperating with treatment, the doctors said to gradually open up, overcome, and inadvertently establish a subconscious suggestion that the outside was not threatening, yet such treatment seemed overly abstract.
Until this moment, the abstract treatment began to take a concrete form.
But using Li Younan as a tool would be truly unfair to him.
Suddenly, a thought brewed in her mind that even she was startled by... if, she traveled with him, would she really get better?
But soon after, she thought of those open scenes; without someone to care for her, she wouldn’t dare to step outside, such a self would only be a burden to Li Younan.
Thinking of this, she felt somewhat dejected again.
Unless... a camper?
Li Younan looked curiously at Liu Li, seeing her smile foolishly one moment and then looking somewhat sad, he asked: "Is there something you want to tell me?"
Liu Li sheepishly shook her head, said: "No, nothing, just wanted to confirm something. You, you can leave, let my brother come in."
Li Younan blinked; he originally thought Liu Li would tell him something important, but ended up coming in without saying a word before being asked to leave?
He nodded, then after going out, he subconsciously looked at his outfit.
Today he was wearing jeans with a vest meant for fishing on top, was it possible the outfit was too ugly for her?
Right now, this is the only thing he could think of.
