No one expected that merely a slight attempt would reveal the means to resist disaster, of course, this was also because Feng Yuan and his group happened to stroll over.
Because no one expected there to be no Data-based Spirit Beasts in the Qi Realm Timeline, when even in the Imperial and War Timelines, there are a small number of Data-based Spirit Beasts active, just in limited quantities.
However, the Qi Realm Timeline was different. They completely lack Spirit Beasts of this lineage, which leads to ineffective feedback no matter how hard they try. After all, what can decipher and combat disasterization are Data-based Spirit Beasts not indigenous to their world.
"Hmm, this news can’t exactly be considered good. Lacking vital resources, yet these resources are crucial, at least, can be used against certain natural disasters. You should understand what might happen."
Veronia spoke to Feng Yuan with a peculiar expression, and not just her, everyone was silent, including Qi Realm Dou Yanlan who temporarily disengaged from battle to look at Feng Yuan with a complex expression.
No need for more words, she also understood how much trouble this intelligence could cause. Currently, only she knows about this matter, or rather, only she is the informed person within the Qi Realm Timeline.
But, should she really conceal it?
"Feng Yuan, you’re..."
Staring at Feng Yuan, Qi Realm Dou Yanlan hesitated to speak, wanting to say something, but could not voice it out as Feng Yuan chuckled, saying
"You’re hesitating whether to report this information? Actually, it doesn’t matter if you report it. If it’s peaceful communication, perhaps it won’t matter, but if there’s intent to forcibly seize, Wild Spirit Beasts are not human, and standing behind them is nearly all the Divine Beasts."
Don’t think the Imperial Timeline has been turbulent for so long, even recently suppressing the Main World. That was under the premise that most Divine Beasts didn’t take action. If the other party tries to forcibly seize Wild Spirit Beasts, whether they can remain arrogant is questionable.
After all, those Divine Beasts have tempers too, if it weren’t because their attacks frequently accidentally hurt Wild Spirit Beasts, the United Army would hardly congregate so many Divine Beasts.
However, this is only a part of the Divine Beasts. Most Divine Beasts don’t particularly care about the safety of Wild Spirit Beasts, but this doesn’t mean they will sit idly by while other timelines attempt to seize them.
Qi Chen and the others don’t know about this matter, so hearing Feng Yuan’s words, they only looked at him confusedly. Veronia chuckled lightly as she thought of something and said
"Indeed, if they forcibly seize Data-based Spirit Beasts, it’s likely there will be an additional expeditionary force composed of Divine Beasts outside the United Army."
Although Qi Realm Dou Yanlan doesn’t know what the Divine Beast Expeditionary Force is, she is very clear about one thing, which is if this happens, the ones bearing the misfortune will surely be themselves.
"So you actually only have one path to choose, which is peaceful negotiation. As for stealing away Data-based Spirit Beasts, I’m not afraid to tell you that the Data-based Spirit Beasts in the Main World are still in their infancy stage, with a limited number across their entire clan, so your actions targeting them are likely to attract the attention... and wrath of the Divine Beasts."
Speaking with a peculiar smile, Feng Yuan is not concerned about Qi Realm Dou Yanlan’s choice. Unlike the Imperial Timeline, the chances of the Qi Realm Timeline forcibly occupying the Main World are lower, as Qi Realm already occupies its own trump resource uncontrollably.
Without special aces, wishing to act freely in the Main World is really not an easy task, not to mention their actions are likely to attract the Divine Beast Expeditionary Forces.
At least the Imperial Timeline still has means of timeline jumping, whereas the Qi Realm Timeline struggles even with observing other timelines, let alone jumping.
Of course, with the aid of the Qi Realm, they do have some methods, but...
Using Qi Realm to assault the Main World, Feng Yuan feels is more likely to anger those Divine Beasts, because until now Qi Realm has only given Feng Yuan negative impressions, and using such things lightly might plunge order into chaos.
And what Divine Beasts hate most is precisely order being disrupted. If they truly act that way, Feng Yuan has no doubt the consequences would be no better than seizing Data-based Spirit Beasts.
"Maybe it’s worth trying other Attribute-type Ultimate Moves, and besides, Data-based Ultimate Moves don’t seem to be a one-time fix."
Seeing the crowd speechless, Veronia chuckled lightly and launched another attack towards the building, only this time aside from the Data-based Ultimate Move successfully reverting part of the area to its original state, the other Attribute-type Ultimate Moves unsurprisingly passed through the virtualized area and fell into the open space.
And the previously cleared virtualized areas by the Data-based Ultimate Move during their conversation have once again been devoured by virtualization, which shows from this point alone that even using Data-based Spirit Beasts to combat it might not be easy.
"Very strange, this thing..."
While Veronia was testing moves, Feng Yuan observed the eroded and currently eroding areas thoughtfully, feeling this isn’t just a simple natural phenomenon.
The recovery speed of the virtualized area destroyed by Veronia is balanced; however, this doesn’t fit the speed of large-scale virtualized erosion.
Overall, the speed of Qi Realm erosion is calculated by the progress of eroding objects; initially, during minor erosion, the speed is slow, but as the proportion of eroded objects increases, the erosion speed gradually accelerates.
However, the eroded area after Veronia’s destruction, even though faster than the initial speed, is still much slower than the current erosion speed of that building.
This peculiar speed change inevitably leads Feng Yuan to consider another situation.
"Interesting, if it truly cannot be completely resolved, even Data-based Spirit Beasts aren’t of much significance."
Veronia hasn’t noticed this insignificant change, or perhaps because she doesn’t care about this matter, hasn’t thought much about whether there’s anything amiss.
The Data-based Ultimate Move is unleashed once again, but this time it’s a whirlwind composed of numerous light blue semi-transparent cubes swirling towards a nearby building, unlike before, Veronia’s actions this time stirred quite a ruckus.
Nearby, Qi Realm Dou Yanlan wanted to stop yet couldn’t bring herself to speak. If Veronia truly succeeds, it would be monumental for them, considering the disaster tides have long been an insurmountable dilemma for the Qi Realm Timeline.
Now seeing the possibility of unraveling it, she feels she shouldn’t obstruct it, even if it might lead those people to make wrong decisions.
But, she can stop them! As long as she gathers enough evidence, persuading them isn’t an issue!
Qi Realm Dou Yanlan didn’t realize her thoughts were somewhat similar to War Qichen’s, but in terms of methods, she was much stronger than War Qichen, who although considered evidence, didn’t fully commit to it.
The data whirlwind swept the buildings, and under its onslaught the virtualized building retreated from virtualization completely in seconds. However, as the whirlwind swept the nearby buildings, Qi Realm erosion rapidly and steadily ascended on that building again.
"Just as thought."
Seeing the building erode once more, Feng Yuan affirmed he wasn’t mistaken, it seems it truly is like this.
Turning to look at Tamur, Feng Yuan said
"Can you see anything? Like, the person behind the ritual."
"No, I cannot see what you’re referring to."
Tamur calmly answered, controlling the data whirlwind, prepared to sweep back to the original building from the side, as Veronia lifted the whirlwind, surprised at Feng Yuan, even Qi Realm Dou Yanlan was shocked looking at him.
"Ritual?"
Qi Chen couldn’t help but inquire first, in his mind, it seemed whenever they mentioned disasterization, they were referring to natural disasters, why would Feng Yuan say such?
"Indeed, it’s a ritual, I’ve thought something’s odd before, ordinarily speaking, the virtualized area Veronia destroyed should alter the speed of Qi Realm eroding the building, yet the reality isn’t so."
Seeing the building quickly re-virtualized, Feng Yuan spoke calmly
"This strange phenomenon, doesn’t it resemble a ritual? Just as long as the ritual isn’t disrupted, for certain advanced rituals, even if minorly damaged, the counterpart quickly corrects and restores it."
"What you said has some sense, but who exactly is doing this? Moreover, how is it not discovered over so many years?"
Even feeling Feng Yuan spoke some sense, Qi Chen remains puzzled, if it truly is manmade, what capability does the other party possess, to disguise it as a natural disaster for such a prolonged time? And what benefits come from doing so?
