A Bud Blossom Tribe appeared in Maomu City, for what reason, Liao Yu must figure out this matter, after all, no one knows what impact the appearance of these Bud Blossoms will bring to Maomu City. Although creatures of the Bud Blossom series have a gentle demeanor, and they enjoy planting flowers, Spirit Beasts generally do not relocate their tribes for no reason.
No one knows why they came here, or if they will conflict with the original Spirit Beast tribes in Maomu City.
"This, I’m afraid we’ll have to wait a while to ask."
Seeing Feng Yuan look towards her, Veronia turned her head and spoke, the Flower Blossom Queen is currently educating those Bud Blossoms. Although she could use her strength to forcibly inquire, doing so might provoke the foul crocodile next to her to say something, and anyway, it doesn’t seem to be anything bad, so Veronia is naturally not in a rush.
Feng Yuan moved Xiao Ji from atop his head into his arms, he couldn’t resist rubbing the bright yellow fluffy Tuanzi, the feathers on Xiao Ji after evolving are not as soft as those of the Eggshell Chicken, the touch is much poorer, and among the fluffy Tuanzi that accompany Feng Yuan, only Pomiti remains, Little Ice Cream need not be mentioned, although quite elastic, it is but an elastic ball.
And there’s no need to speak of Big Cat, its feathers are soft but still cannot compare to fluff, Agunas is styled like a cartoon crocodile, with a Ritual Robe over hard scales, Kong Qing is a snake. Having not enjoyed hugging ’toys’ for a long time, Feng Yuan took this opportunity to have a good time.
Being held and rubbed in Feng Yuan’s embrace, Xiao Ji wasn’t angry, it understands the other party’s preference. Although it is somewhat regrettable that after evolution, all the fluff on its body turned into feathers, Xiao Ji has no regrets about evolving. Compared to being a pet following around Feng Yuan, Xiao Ji would rather become his combat partner.
Ah Mu seemed to detect something and silently moved closer to Qi Chen, his hands gently protecting the other party. Noticing Ah Mu’s actions, Qi Chen asked with some confusion,
"Ah Mu, what’s wrong, have you noticed something amiss?"
Looking around, Ah Mu whispered, and Veronia, looking down the passage in front, said,
"Something is approaching, and its strength is not weak."
"Wood, Water, Data, a rare Three Attributes Spirit Beast."
Agunas closed the book in his hands, surprised as he sized up the Flower Blossom Queen. The creature had apparently also noticed something and stopped educating the Bud Blossoms, turning to look at the corridor as if it was waiting for something.
In a moment, a huge Flower Bud appeared before everyone’s eyes. Above the giant flower was a figure resembling a human doll, with only the upper body present.
The giant Flower Bud floated in the air, surrounded by a ring of glimmering golden starlight amid white mist, and the doll-like upper body looked at everyone with a bit of surprise and said,
"Humans? You’ve explored this area so quickly?"
"Queen Hua Xiao?!"
Although there had been guesses, actually seeing Queen Hua Xiao still took Liao Yu by surprise. As a Spirit Beast with Legendary Level potential, even if not adept in combat, her combat prowess cannot be deemed weak. Furthermore, the emergence of Queen Hua Xiao indicates that this group of Bud Blossoms can almost certainly be determined as a wild Spirit Beast tribe.
But why would they migrate to the vicinity of Maomu City? To understand that not to mention Maomu City, there is no habitat for Bud Blossoms in the entire Southern Region of Great Xia, what made them traverse such long distances and overcome many obstacles to reach Maomu City?
As for whether they were seeking help from the Alliance or Great Xia for the migration? That is utterly impossible. The migration involving Spirit Beast tribes would require high-level awareness, and the local personnel responsible for maintaining order would certainly be clear about it. After all, without prior coordination, there’s a risk that conflict with local Spirit Beast tribes would occur upon arrival.
The resources available in each region are limited, and the resources around the city have been divided among the existing Spirit Beast tribes. Without prior coordination to allocate an area for them, it would truly only be possible to forcefully settle in a new habitat through the use of force.
No notification implies that they came on their own, but what made them travel so far?
"Do you plan to settle in Maomu City?"
Feng Yuan looked with some curiosity towards Queen Hua Xiao and asked, the latter glanced at Feng Yuan and after a moment of silence said,
"We came following the traces of the gods."
"The traces of the gods?"
Glancing doubtfully at Agunas and then at Veronia, these two Divine Beasts shouldn’t have anything to do with Queen Hua Xiao, and as for Kong Qing and Xiao Ji? That’s even more unlikely, after all, Xiao Ji is a Divine Beast of the Death Series and although Kong Qing is of the Space Series, it wouldn’t have any entanglement with Queen Hua Xiao either.
"Master of the Forest, we came following its scent."
Not letting Feng Yuan continue to guess, Queen Hua Xiao quickly explained, causing Feng Yuan to look at her with some astonishment and say,
"Isn’t that Estir? It is currently healing on Mist Island, why... that’s right, it just came to visit a few days ago."
"Lord Estir is on Mist Island?"
Queen Hua Xiao was somewhat surprised, it didn’t expect to find out about Estir’s whereabouts from Feng Yuan. It was so decisive in stating its purpose primarily because of Agunas and Veronia; naturally, it could sense that they were Divine Beasts. As for Xiao Ji and Kong Qing? It couldn’t sense them, after all, they had concealed their aura, and with their lesser strength, it was normal for them to be overlooked.
"Yeah, it’s recuperating on Mist Island, but why are you bringing your whole tribe to find it? What do you want?"
Observing Queen Hua Xiao and those Flower Bud creatures and their evolved forms behind her, Feng Yuan felt puzzled. Had Estir done something to make Queen Hua Xiao bring her tribe to this place? As for why they didn’t pursue Estir to Mist Island?
It’s a joke, Mist Island is Lorraine Tower’s stronghold, not to mention Queen Hua Xiao of Legendary Level, even a Spirit Beast of Sacred Beast Level would find it difficult to penetrate the mist that shrouds Mist Island. That layer of mist also conceals everything inside, and only Gitalien or a Spirit Beast granted permission by Lorraine Tower could open a Space Gate directly to Mist Island.
It would be strange indeed if Queen Hua Xiao managed to find Estir on Mist Island, unless it had previously mentioned where it would be. But looking at the situation, that seems not to be the case, otherwise, it wouldn’t have chased all the way here.
"Why are you looking for Estir?"
Agunas, swinging its tail, looked at Queen Hua Xiao with some curiosity, not quite understanding what Estir had done.
"This..."
Hesitating for a moment, Queen Hua Xiao explained to Agunas why they were seeking Estir. After listening to her story, everyone got some clarity about the situation.
Turns out, it was rather simple: the Hunters initially wanted to capture Queen Hua Xiao and her tribe to research something, and Estir happened to pass by that area. Discovering the situation, it took action alone, destroyed the research facility belonging to the Hunters and rescued them. But because of this, Estir caught the attention of the Hunter Organization.
They found out via certain channels that Estir was a Divine Beast and deduced from the power it exhibited while attacking the research facility that Estir’s current strength was likely very weak, which led to the subsequent incident of Estir being captured.
Upon hearing this afterward, Queen Hua Xiao quickly pieced together the ins and outs; it understood that if Estir hadn’t rescued its tribe, it wouldn’t have been exposed to the Hunters, and they wouldn’t target a Divine Beast so soon. After all, if Estir’s power hadn’t been weakened, the Hunters wouldn’t have easily succeeded.
Knowing that Estir was severely injured because of this event, Queen Hua Xiao wanted to find it, to help heal its wounds. And a significant part of the Bud Blossom Tribe’s defensive power stemmed from itself, hence it had to bring its tribe along in search of Estir.
Previously, the scent that Estir left while visiting Maomu City led it to Estir’s location, as previously, Estir was on Mist Island, and it was impossible for it to sense where exactly Estir was.
"You’re planning to heal Estir?"
Feng Yuan looked at Queen Hua Xiao with a peculiar expression. Although she wanted to repay Estir and offer her help, where did her confidence come from, thinking that she, a Legendary Level creature, would have stronger healing abilities than Nagna of Divine Beast Level? Agunas shared the same thought but seeing that it was all out of goodwill to repay Estir, it didn’t feel right to say anything.
