Upon hearing this, Chen Peng let out a sigh of relief and turned to look at Lin Feng.
He could never have imagined that this man, who looked to be around twenty years old, could exert such immense pressure on him.
Huizi had a staff member lead Chen Peng to another conference room.
"Someone over there will discuss the follow-up contract details with you. Congratulations on your successful bid."
It wasn’t until he heard Huizi’s sweet voice that Chen Peng snapped back to reality.
’I really won the bid!’
Chen Peng took two deep breaths. After all, he was the project manager for one of the top construction companies in the south.
No matter how excited he was on the inside, he had to maintain his composure.
District F was the largest planned area on Lin Feng’s property.
It was primarily a residential zone.
Taking on the construction and development of such a large area within three months was a difficult task in itself.
Only a major company could possibly handle such a lucrative project...
But in total, fifty to sixty companies had come for this bidding session.
And quite a few of them had their eyes on this particular district.
No one expected it to be snapped up by just the second company to bid.
The project managers who had been preparing to bid on this district all looked grim.
They had no choice but to change their strategy and compete for other districts.
Lin Feng’s announcement also made many companies realize something.
If they quoted a price within his ideal range right from the start, a decision would be made very quickly.
Once the decision was made, the process was extremely simple, moving directly to contract negotiations.

The nearly fifty remaining companies stared like wolves at the juicy cuts of meat on the projector screen.
The project managers from the next few companies after Chen Peng all came up and quoted prices that were outside Lin Feng’s ideal range.
Finally, someone appeared with a more suitable bid.
However, Lin Feng saw that the system had given this person a very low rating for personal ability.
’He’s probably just someone who got in through connections.’
The company behind a person like that was bound to have some shady dealings.
So, even though the price was right, Lin Feng still rejected him.
This kind of one-and-done bidding process was a format these construction company managers had never encountered before.
But they soon discovered something.
Aside from the fact that their companies had lost all initiative, this method was actually very fast.

In less than an hour, results had been given to ten companies.

Lin Feng was not happy with this result.

He had the relevant documents from the bidding companies given to Huizi for review.
Lin Feng made the decisions quickly and directly.
By noon,
Lin Feng had already found suitable construction companies for all the districts.
Looking at the twelve remaining construction companies, which hadn’t even gotten a chance to come up and make a bid, Huizi sighed silently to herself.
She maintained a polite smile on her face. "My apologies, gentlemen. The rules were made very clear at the beginning. I’m sorry, but you’re out of options."
The expressions on the faces of these twelve project managers were extremely ugly.
Some even stood up and left in a huff.

The manager, whose name was Liu Hua, snorted coldly.
"We came all this way just to sit here and watch other people bid?"
"So the twelve of us just deserve this? Not even getting a chance to get on stage?"
As Liu Hua spoke, he fanned the flames of emotion among the other managers around him.
A crowd immediately surrounded Huizi.
"I don’t care how the bidding went! You’re going to give us an explanation for this!"
Liu Hua shouted.
Huizi, having already received Lin Feng’s instructions, had called for security in advance.
Just as Liu Hua and his group cornered Huizi,
the staff from the security company Lin Feng had hired arrived.

They were in excellent physical condition.

With practiced efficiency, they pulled Liu Hua and his disorderly mob apart.
Huizi dusted off her hands. "I told you all from the beginning. If you have any complaints, you are more than welcome to file them."
"Our bidding conference has been officially registered, and your behavior just now was recorded by the cameras."
"I hope you all watch your step, Mr. Liu!"
After saying this, Huizi gave the security personnel a meaningful look.
The guards, using skillful techniques, escorted all of them out of the conference hall.
Huizi had already left long ago through a staff-only exit.
