By the early morning hours, the United States stock market had entered its midday recess.
Jiang Chao and Cao Ming were covered in a cold sweat.
"I just sold the stock five minutes before the break. A three percent gain!"
Cao Ming wiped the sweat from his face, his expression relaxing into one of relief.
Lin Feng nodded.
That stock’s peak for the day was precisely three percent.
Cao Ming had timed the trade quite precisely.
Then,
Lin Feng transferred the funds to another account.
Since they were operating through a Celestial Dynasty brokerage platform, Lin Feng certainly wasn’t going to conduct all his trades using a single one.
He immediately withdrew the proceeds from Cao Ming’s sale, as well as the funds he was managing himself.
"Old Cao, come over here. You’ll use this account for the afternoon session."
This was a new account on another platform.
The money from Cao Ming’s sale had already been transferred to the account on this new platform.
Meanwhile, Lin Feng opened yet another platform and transferred his own funds into that account.
The funds Lin Feng was managing were now split into roughly three batches,
operating on three different brokerage platforms.
This way, their trades in the afternoon wouldn’t attract any unwanted attention.
It was now past midnight.
Cao Ming was completely relaxed now, and he and Lin Feng started eating a late-night snack.
Jiang Chao, however, still looked weighed down with anxiety.
Yang Qiniang, having seen his share of high-stakes situations, remained relatively calm.
Seeing how tense Jiang Chao was, Lin Feng walked over and patted him on the shoulder.
"How much did it gain this morning?"
Jiang Chao froze for a second before snapping out of it. "It’s up five percent for the morning!"
He hesitated after speaking, then asked Lin Feng, "Shouldn’t we sell it now?"
"It’s already gone up so much. I’m worried it’s going to fall when trading resumes!"
Lin Feng just smiled. "Don’t worry about it. I’ve held onto stocks I was managing when they were up more than ten percent. I was willing to take that gamble."
"This company’s stock is worth taking a chance on. Don’t be so anxious. Just calm down."
Hearing Lin Feng’s comforting words,
although Jiang Chao appeared calm on the surface, he was still a nervous wreck inside.
Yang Qiniang, watching from the side, could also see that Jiang Chao was still on edge.
He smiled and began recounting some of Lin Feng’s previous investment feats for Jiang Chao.
Jiang Chao was soon completely captivated by the stories.
This, in turn, helped him relax.
As he watched the stock fluctuate throughout the afternoon, Jiang Chao surprisingly felt less nervous than he had that morning.
When he saw the stock actually hit an eight percent gain,
Jiang Chao froze for a second, then quickly executed the trade, selling the stock.
"My God, Brother Feng, you’re a psychic! It actually managed to climb that high!"
The moment Jiang Chao sold the stock, he felt a wave of relief.
Lin Feng was in the middle of a trade on one of the new platforms.
Hearing Jiang Chao, he chuckled. "Haven’t you guys noticed? The overall conditions in the United States market are excellent today."
"In conditions like these, it’s pretty normal for a stock to gain that much!"
From the moment the market opened, Jiang Chao and Cao Ming had been glued to the stocks Lin Feng had assigned them.
During the break for a late-night snack, they had been captivated by Yang Qiniang’s stories of Lin Feng’s bold investment moves.
If Lin Feng hadn’t just pointed it out, the three of them probably still wouldn’t have realized the current state of the United States market.
"You’re right! It looks like the market is recovering!"
Yang Qiniang slapped his thigh, feeling that their timing couldn’t have been better.
Lin Feng glanced at the market sectors.
"Old Jiang, in a bit, I want you to buy two hundred million worth of the stock with the ticker xxd8946."
"Then, dump the rest of the money into another stock, vcb856!"
Lin Feng’s own hands never stopped trading as he gave Jiang Chao the timing for the purchase.
With one successful trade under his belt, Old Jiang’s confidence soared.
It was a complete reversal from his previous timid state.
He now followed Lin Feng’s instructions to the letter.
The afternoon trading session was actually quite short.
By the time the market closed,
Lin Feng liquidated all his positions and withdrew the funds.
The other two also withdrew all the money from their accounts.
"Alright, transfer all the funds to the company account. We’ll calculate the total profit and return rate in a bit!"
Lin Feng let out a long breath, a faint smile on his face.

Although Jiang Chao’s eyes were bloodshot from lack of sleep, his spirits were exceptionally high.
Lin Feng could see that this hands-on experience in the stock market had changed Jiang Chao quite a bit.
Previously, whether in his dealings with Song Yaqi or with matters related to his internship at the company, Jiang Chao had always been indecisive—or, one might say, overly cautious and timid.
But today, Jiang Chao radiated an aura of confidence.
The funds from Cao Ming’s account were also transferred quickly.
Cao Ming had also been trading frequently on his platform during the afternoon session.
So right up until the final trade was complete,
Cao Ming hadn’t even had a chance to check his specific profits before he was busy transferring the money to the company account.
Only Lin Feng had a rough estimate of the returns from his own platform and the other two.
However, the exact figures would have to wait until they checked the company account.
After all, the other two platforms were being operated by Jiang Chao and Cao Ming.

Compared to the exhaustion of the previous day,
the four people in the office were all unusually invigorated.
