After receiving the system reward, Lin Feng looked down at the live-streaming platform.
He was surprised to find that his sister's stream had already surpassed 500,000 viewers.
This was Lin Xiaoman's very first stream, and it was already getting this much traffic.
It could be called a miracle, the first of its kind since the platform's founding.
Lin Feng skimmed through the bullet comments.
He discovered that everyone was extremely curious about him, this "Mr. Lin."
Of course, there were also some malicious and nasty speculations.
Lin Feng's brows furrowed slightly when he saw them.
At that moment, however, Lin Xiaoman was also clarifying things to the camera.
Apparently, Xiaoman and Su Ruoxi had also seen the inappropriate speculation in the bullet comments.
"Alright, since everyone has found their way into my stream, let's treat each other like friends from now on."
"My channel description says my main content and focus will be on makeup and styling."
"I don't think my skills are that amazing, so I hope we can all chat and learn from each other on this stream."
"As for the Mr. Lin everyone is so curious about... well, my last name is also Lin."
"So, it's not the kind of relationship you're all guessing. He's my biological older brother."
"Today is actually my very first stream."
"My brother came to support my dream, and I thank all of you for coming as well."
After a moment of uncertainty, Xiaoman quickly regained her usual composure.
Watching the on-screen Lin Xiaoman smile as she responded to the controversy, Lin Feng felt for the first time that his little sister had finally grown up.
And Lin Xiaoman's tactful response—open and positive—actually caused the viewer count to increase rather than decrease.
Su Ruoxi and Lin Xiaoman had originally thought that after the explanation, the people who had come out of curiosity would most likely leave a newcomer's stream.
"Gotta be honest, I really like this girl!"
"I think I should support this new stream!"
"I'm not like you hypocrites. I just want to see if that Mr. Lin is still in the stream."
"After all, a tycoon doesn't show up just anywhere. If I can catch a live one, I'll be thrilled!"
Reading these amusing bullet comments, the anxiety in Lin Xiaoman's heart gradually subsided.
'Looks like streaming isn't as hard as I thought.'
'And there aren't that many bad people in the comments.'
A faint smile on her face, Lin Xiaoman waved the makeup brush in her hand and made a funny face at the camera.
"Bro, you're the tycoon of the hour! All eyes are on you now!"
"But maybe you should send me fewer gifts. Your little sister wants to make it on her own!"
Lin Feng saw Lin Xiaoman's funny face through the screen and smiled faintly.
'This silly girl is probably worried about my money.'
'This silly girl, on her first stream, probably has no idea how much a yacht gift even costs.'
'Otherwise, she definitely wouldn't be acting so calm right now.'
Seeing the bullet comments in Lin Xiaoman's stream calling for him to appear again, Lin Feng silently sent another ten yachts.
'It was just under 100,000 yuan.'
Because Lin Feng had lavishly spent a million before, his account had been directly upgraded to a premium VIP level.
When he sent gifts, a glittering golden frame appeared, along with a series of cool special effects.
And when Lin Feng's gift appeared in the stream, the bullet comments from all other users were paused, and his gift announcement was displayed three times.
This was a privilege reserved only for the top donor on the leaderboard.
This kind of high-profile gifting method was even more eye-catching!
It also ensured that everyone noticed the gifts Lin Feng sent.
Sure enough, after Lin Feng was done, the bullet comments were flooded with a stream of "666" and "Tycoon."
At that moment, Lin Feng received another system notification.
[DING...]
[Host has been detected completing a gift-sending task.]
[Congratulations, Host, you have received a Beginner Gifting Rebate Pack. Open now?]"
Lin Feng, of course, chose yes.
This time, the gift pack rewarded Lin Feng with 150,000.
'Another 50,000 earned...'
Lin Feng felt like he had found a new way to grow his assets quickly.
However, Lin Feng noticed that the gift-sending task could apparently only be completed three times a week.
This meant that, at most, he could get rebates from three gift packs in a single day.
Based on the amounts from the two rebate packs he'd opened, it seemed the basic return was an extra fifty percent.
This was an incredibly profitable reward method.
Lin Feng decided that he would have to properly support his sister, Lin Xiaoman, from now on.
The two of them, brother and sister, would make money together!
Lin Xiaoman sighed as she watched the series of glittering golden gifts on the screen:
"Oh my god, my show-off brother..."
What Lin Xiaoman didn't know was that just because the "Xiaoman Garden" stream was patronized by a rich tycoon, it had already attracted a huge amount of attention in just one short afternoon.
And Lin Xiaoman had become the streamer with the largest increase in followers for the day.
"Xiaoman..."
"Get back to your main job..."
Su Ruoxi found a piece of paper and wrote these words on it.
She held it up behind the camera.
It was to remind the long-distracted Lin Xiaoman.
After seeing the words, Lin Xiaoman slapped her forehead. "Right! My main content is makeup and styling!"
"Since everyone missed my makeup application, I'll just do it all over again for you!"
Then, Lin Xiaoman did something very bold: she took out a bottle of makeup remover right there on camera.
The girls watching the stream were stunned.
You have to understand, when they first entered this stream, these girls had clearly noticed that Lin Xiaoman didn't seem to be using any filters.
In other words, the Lin Xiaoman on camera was what she looked like with real makeup on.
The lack of various beautifying special effects actually allowed everyone to see the makeup on Lin Xiaoman's face more clearly.
Su Ruoxi, who was at her side, knew very well that the Lin Xiaoman she saw in real life was no different from the one on camera.
And now, Lin Xiaoman was performing a makeup removal in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers.
This left some of the female viewers in the audience utterly astonished.
It also piqued everyone's curiosity.
In terms of looks, Lin Xiaoman was not unattractive.
In fact, you could even say she was very pretty.
This was the source of her confidence to remove her makeup on camera.
"This streamer is so daring!"
"This is moving a little fast... Gaining hundreds of thousands of followers and then immediately showing her bare face. Is this our reward?"
"I think the streamer has a great foundation. I'm curious to see what she really looks like without makeup!"
"Oh my god, what kind of hidden gem did I just find? Following! Following now!"
Lin Xiaoman, busy removing her makeup, naturally couldn't see the exclamations flying by in the bullet comments.
But Su Ruoxi, at her side, saw everything.
'This girl Xiaoman really seems suited for this path. She's got a great connection with the audience!'
'Her appeal to casual viewers is great too. Brother Feng's judgment is spot on!'
Su Ruoxi couldn't help but admire Lin Feng once again in her heart.
Lin Feng's judgment was truly sharp.
He could see right away that Lin Xiaoman was suited to be a streamer.
And facts had proven that Lin Feng's judgment was indeed excellent.
Just as Lin Feng was watching Lin Xiaoman's stream, a message suddenly popped up on his phone.
